The research analyzed the regularities of the dynamics of geomagnetic pulsation regimes in the frequency range 0.002–5 Hz, the generation of which reflects the interaction with the Earth's magnetosphere of the solar filament ejected by a powerful solar flare of 3B. We compared the dynamics of the change in the types and modes of geomagnetic pulsations with the dynamics of the atmosphere glow in two spectral lines and the total ionospheric absorption of radio waves. The study developed a possible model of the observed phenomenon.

This study examined the problems of calculating the time to create a software product using the example of the company "RKIT" LLC. The article discussed the analysis of the most effective, from the point of view of the authors, methods for assessing the complexity of projects. As a result of the review, the authors suggested to create a decision support system. This system will consist of two blocks: an automated information computing system based on the PERT method and an artificial intelligence system in the form of an expert system, which is a repository of expert knowledge. The creation of a DSS will reduce the time for experts to make decisions and reduce the likelihood of a decrease in the profitability of the project, which will lead to an increase in the company's profit.

The research estimated the water surface area and volume of the fishing bay Proval in Lake Baikal by using the QGIS and SAGA geographic information systems. Such characteristics are used by ichthyologists to assess the reception capacity of the water area. Additionally, we considered the cases when the water level drops by 0.6 and 1.2 meters. The results may be used to predict population size of Baikal omul in low-water periods.

The research analyzed the unemployment rate in the Russian Fe­deration using economic and mathematical modeling. The оbject of the research is the dynamics of the unemployment rate in the Russian Federation in the period from 2005 to 2020, depending on some factors that make an impact on the factor under consideration. As a result of this investigation, carried out using the multiple regression method, a linear regression model was obtained, which can be employed for further analysis and forecasting of the unemployment rate in Russia.

The article provides an overview of the first stage study results the purpose of which is to master new opportunities in the study of a complex structure of mass media. Using the methods of the dynamic systems theory, we described the stage of information dissemination through media aimed at promoting a new system of views into society, and the informational confrontation accompanying this process. For this purpose, a number of parameters have been identified that makes it possible to assess the audience reaction to the news appearance. Depending on these parameters’ ratio, we presented the scenarios for the further information dissemination as well as conclusions about the society’s readiness to the changes of existing concepts.

Stages of natural evolution such as biogenesis and abiogenesis are the well-recognized terms to characterize the very different phases of life development. Traditionally, an abiogenesis is believed as the early stage of evolution that is mainly the chemistry phase dealing with intercoupling between the complex polymer chains when manifestations of life assumes substantial participation of cooperative effects. It its turn, a biogenesis as the subsequent stage of evolution is the period for prevalence of Darwin’s laws showing, in particular, in battle among separate species in the way of variability-heredity contest. In this article, we discuss possible nature of the transition between above stages as a normal result of progress in an evolutionary system simulated by mathematical model of open system with infinite number of conserved links with system surroundings. It is shown that the biosystem, in transition point experiences the deep reconstruction in existing pattern of energy exchange which leads to emergence of the more complicated and advanced stage of evolution. Our study showed that the found transition point can be considered as a singularity point in system evolution. In its turn, the evolution stages with the dissimilar meaning are the physical placeholders for stage of abiogenesis and biogenesis in natural evolution, correspondingly.

The paper analyzed a non-convex linear-quadratic optimization problem in a discrete dynamic system. We obtained necessary optimality condition with feedback controls which allow a descent of the functional cost. Such controls are generated by the quadratic majorant of the cost. In contrast to the discrete maximum principle, this condition does not require any convexity properties of the problem.

This article provides an overview of existing turbulence models. The scheme of combustion of pulverized coal fuel, the construction of a pulverized coal boiler unit and the process of burning coal in the furnace of a boiler unit BKZ-420-140 are considered. We analyzed the existing turbulence models and selected the most optimal mathematical model to study the combustion process of pulverized coal fuel in order to increase the efficiency of the CHPP.

The article discusses methods for restoring the lost meaning of old toponyms. This task can be solved using a systematic approach. The study used methods of permutation and transformation of consonants in the backbone of a toponym, methods of di- and trichotomy of a word, formation of a table of all possible transformants, a method for finding associates for all transformants of a word using the vector model of the Russian language, a method for clustering the found associates, a method for determining the frequency of repetition of associates in the corpus of the Russian language, which allows you to calculate the probabilities of the appearance of various clusters, a method of lexical analysis of Old Church Slavonic languages, including Old Russian and Sanskrit. The use of a set of methods made it possible to restore the lost meaning of the toponym Moscow. It turned out that with a probability of more than 80 % the name of our capital goes back to the name of the commander and spiritual leader of the first half of the 15th century, who had the nicknames Mosokh, Meshekh, Moses Khan (Prince). The army of medieval Russia (Tatar-Mongolia) created by this man defeated Byzantium and subjugated Western Europe. During the Romanov dynasty, Western European scholars-Russophobes deleted the name of the commander from the history of Russia. As a result, the toponym Moscow has lost its original meaning. The article also restored the lost meaning of the two most important toponyms of Eastern Siberia - Lake Baikal and the Angara River. It turned out that the lake got its name from the old Russian exclamation Bai-ka-al = ay, how divine! The name of the Angara River in Old Russian means the mountains of Christ.

For any economic system to function successfully we need to have business model. One of the advantages of having a model is that it shows detailed and visual information with its internal connections, qualitative characteristics and quantitative parameters. Modeling the management system of the economic system’s activities is currently one of the most effective systematic ways to describe options for the future and assess the potential consequences of management decisions. This current work demonstrates the construction of a business model for the management system of an IT-outsourcing company as an organizational system in the form of a unity of three subsystems: management, main production subsystem and the socio-cultural subsystem.
