The topicality of the research is based on the growing interest in the study of the concept of “time” in Kyrgyz cognitive linguistics. The concept of time reflects the cultural, spiritual, and moral values of any culture including Kyrgyz. The novelty of the research is that the concept of time has been analyzed in the framework of the Kyrgyz Language. In the framework of this paper, the associative experiment of how Kyrgyz people perceive the concept of time held. The aim of the paper is to study the concept of time in the Kyrgyz linguistic view of the world based on the associative experiment. To reach the aim of the paper the following research methods were used: analysis, synthesis, observation, statistical analysis, interpretation, and an associative experiment. In this paper we have shared the results of the survey hold in Kyrgyzstan, 85 people participated as native speakers of the Kyrgyz language. The age and gender — 13–64 years; the number of women who participated in the Kyrgyz survey is 59 and 26 of them are men. Kyrgyz people believe that time has both positive and negative qualities. Kyrgyz people associate time with life, irreversibility, hour, age, moments, death, possibilities, happiness, success wrinkles, etc.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the maximal inspiratory pressure (MIP) and maximal expiratory pressure (MEP) in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) during the on and off periods of levodopa and to compare with healthy controls. METHODS: Twenty-six patients were analyzed with Hoehn and Yahr scores (2-3) and 26 age and gender matched-controls. Statistical analysis was performed with Student's t-test for paired and independent samples. RESULTS: MIP and MEP values in patients were significantly lower than the values obtained in controls both for off and on stages -excepted for MIP in women (p=0.28). For patients with PD, the studied parameters did not differ between stages on and off, with the exception of MEP in women (p=0.00). CONCLUSIONS: Patients with PD have respiratory pressure lower than controls, even in early stages of the disease, and dopamine replacement has little impact over these respiratory pressures. These findings suggest that respiratory changes in PD may be unrelated to dopaminergic dysfunction.

Music applications are one of the most used applications in the world. Consumers can hear the song they like but difficult for them to find songs from the vast number of songs list. The flow of this paper is to increase the efficiency of music recommendation in terms of the genre based on the decision-tree which helps the users to get the music according to their preferences. This model uses age and gender as an input set and genre as output. The model will predict the genre according to age and gender and the decision tree helps to reduce the complexity of the model.

SummaryBackground: Reactive oxygen species can attack and damage almost every molecule found in living cells, including proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and DNA. For this reason, their production is normally tightly controlled. Among the most important defenses against these radicals are the super oxide dismutase (SOD) enzymes and catalase (CAT). In creasing attention has been given to the role of reactive oxygen metabolites in the pathogenesis of ulcerative colitis (UC), which is defined as an idiopathic and chronic intestinal inflammation. Accordingly, we hypothesized a relation between genetic polymorphisms in the two antioxidant enzymes SOD1 A251G (rs2070424) and CAT C-262T (rs1001179) and the risk of UC.Methods: The present case-control study included 109 UC patients (46 males and 50 females) and 186 (67 males and 119 females) gender-matched healthy controls. Genotyping was done by the PCR-RFLP method. Results: After adjusting for age and gender, a significant association was observed between the AG+GG genotypes of SOD1 A251G polymorphism (vs. AA genotype) and risk of UC (OR=0.29, 95% CI: 0.10-0.86, P= 0.025) after adjusting for age and gender. Our statistical analysis revealed that the CAT C-262T polymorphism did not associate with the risk of UC before and/or after adjusting for age and gender. Conclusions: Based on the present statistical analysis, the G allele of the SOD1 A251G polymorphism decreases the risk of UC, thus it might be assumed that the G allele has a protective role.

Spa industry has been growing quite fast in many parts of the world, including Indonesia. The prospect of spa business is still very positive and wide open. There are many varieties of spas offered, such as day spas, hotel-based spas, resort spas and destination spas. Regardless of the type of spa, most spa operators provide massage and nutrition related services. GY Spa, one of the best spa operators in Jakarta offers several spa packages which include body massage, body treatment, body scrub, face massage and aromatheraphy. This research aims to find the correlation between the demographic segmentation and the consumer satisfaction towards the spa packages in GY Spa. Based on the research, it is found that education, occupation and nationality have no correlation toward the consumer satisfaction, while age and gender shown to have correlation. Female and the younger customers are more satisfied with the spa packages offered by GY Spa.

The aim of this study was a comparative statistical analysis of three categories of maxillary odontogenic cysts, evaluating frequency in relation to localization (mandibular or maxillary region), age and gender of patients. The study was a retrospective cohort study conducted at the University Hospital of Messina. Three hundred and fifty-six maxillary odontogenic cysts were classified into 283 inflammatory, 43 developmental and 30 neoplastic cysts. Female patients are more affected by developmental odontogenic cysts, while male patients are more affected by inflammatory odontogenic cysts. Both the mandibular and maxillary regions were affected mainly by inflammatory odontogenic cysts; no significantly statistic relationship was found between lesions and age. A significant association between odontogenic cyst lesions and patient gender was found. No significant association between histological features of lesion and age of patient was observed, nor subtype of odontogenic disease and localization (mandibular or maxillary).

The purpose of this article is: (i) to highlight the importance of makingthe generic structure of the story genres proposed by Plum (2004) and Martin and Rose (2008) more flexible within the Systemic Functional Framework (SFL); (ii) to take up a taxonomy proposed for story genres in Spanish (Salmaso 2009, 2010 a, 2010 b, 2012 a , 2014) which grants more flexibility to the generic structure of the five genres of the narrative family (‘recounts’, ‘narratives’, ‘anecdotes’, ‘exempla’ and ‘observations’) (Plum 2004, Martin and Rose 2008); (iii) to engage in a comparative study of the generic structure of one of the story genres: ‘anecdote’.To this end, nine instances of ‘anecdotes’ wereanalyzed. All of the ‘anecdotes’ are written by native speakers of English belonging to different age and gender groups but with similar educational backgrounds (higher education). The examples are analyzed following Salmaso (2010, 2014) and comparisons are drawn between some aspects of the analysis presented herein withthe analyses done following Plum’s (2004) and Martin and Rose’s (2008) taxonomies. Results show that it is possible to extrapolate the taxonomy of story genres in Spanish to English, in particular with respect to the genre ‘anecdote’ which is the focus of this article. Furthermore, this taxonomy enriches the analysis of ‘anecdotes’ andmay be simpler and clearer for applied purposes, such as teaching.

Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) was a healthproblem that caused by air polution, indoor air quality and a bad ventilation. In around the world,2.7 milions of people were dead because air polution in the room and this air polution source from ventilation (52%), tools in the room (17 %), outside the room (11%), the building material (3%), microorganism (5%) and others (12%). Mall was a public place with a close ventilation so it can influence the air quality and being the risk of SBS.The aim of this research was looking for correlation between air quality in the room and the characteristics of workerswith sick building syndrome (SBS).This research was an analytic with cross sectional design. The population was all of the workerwith 36 sample workers.Data analysis used univariat and bivariat.Result of this research showed the variabelswhich had correlationwith sick building syndrome are humidity, wind velocity, light intensity, age, and gender. The variables that had no correlation with sick building syndrome are temperature, microorganism quantity, duration of work and period of work.

This work is devoted to the study of motivation using conceptual analysis as one of the main research methods in Cognitive Linguistics. The subject of the research is the conceptual cha-racteristics of motivation. The relevance of the research topic is represented by the fact that the is-sue of expressing motivation in speech has been of interest to many scientists for a long time. However, there is no consensus on many issues in the study of motivation. This is due to the fact that linguistic means that represent motivation in differently structured languages are very diverse. Motivation is not always represented by primary means, and native speakers often use secondary structures that need thorough consideration. The question arises how to systematize the knowledge behind motivation and the speech means that express it. To do this, we should turn to modern methods of linguistics which allow us to consider motivation as a system of knowledge. The purpose of the study is to prove that linguistic means that represent motivation can be grouped on the basis of conceptual characteristics of motivation. Research methods: analysis, synthesis, descriptive method, conceptual analysis as the main method. It is proved that conceptual analysis allows to systematize and study the knowledge behind motivation. The results obtained can be used in the study of motivation in English and Russian as part of final qualification works. The following conclusions are made: 1) it is proved that conceptual analysis allows to identify the main conceptual characteristics of motivation; 2) it is proved that motivation can be represented as a cluster concept; 3) it is also proved that a variety of linguistic means convey motivation including secondary lan-guage structures.

Expressing oneself is a fundamental right as enunciated in many international conventions and national constitutions. Expressing oneself, however, is subject to other factors, namely, one’s access to language, and means and platforms of expression. Marginalised groups have historically been kept away from gaining, as well as creating, knowledge and language.Breaking out of deprivation for marginalised groups requires having a reference framework of their own stories that are accessible to their own people, as well as visible to the rest of the world as legitimate history. As Sheila Rowbotham (1973) says, “in order to create an alternative, an oppressed group must at once shatter the self-reflecting world which encircles it and, at the same time, project its own image onto history.... All revolutionary movements create their own ways of seeing.” (p. 27)This paper seeks to show Vacha’s work with adolescent girls who purport to express themselves and document their perspectives through photography. Girls form one of the most marginalised sections of society, due to age and gender. Girls from deprived backgrounds contend with further disabilities of caste and class. Their perspectives are seldom part of the collective consciousness of their own communities, let alone enter mainstream discourses. Vacha uses photography as a useful tool for deprived girls to express and document their stories. Public exhibitions are used to take these images to a wider audience.

A brief overview of the history of the Internet and social networks in the world and in Russia in particular has been provided. The concepts of social network, user profile and properties inherent in any social network – virtuality, interactivity and multimedia have been сharacterized and revealed. Dynamic data on the state of digital technologies for 2019 in the world and in Russia in particular have been analysed. The history and prospects for further development of social networks have been considered. Statistical data on the number of users of the 9 most popular social networks in Russia, namely: their activity, the amount of time spent on the Internet and in social networks, age and gender specifics and preferences of the technical devices used and types of Internet connection have been adduced. General recommendations to marketers on accurate targeting of ads placed in social networks have been given. To do this, companies should work with groups of users, that are united by a number of parameters, as well as create communities in social networks by companies that convey new information to users. Using data on the age, gender and other attributes of the target audience of social networks, marketers will be able to successfully solve the problems of increasing brand awareness and loyalty, attracting new customers, influencing the search promotion of external resources (sites and communities) containing information about the brand, products and services, and using them as effective tools for attracting potential customers.
