When our way of life is threatened, as in this COVID-19 environment, human beings should forget boundaries and competition and allow our innate spiritual values to lead. By allowing our priorities to align with placing people above power and the marketplace, we can adopt universal, spiritual concepts such as the Hindu philosophy, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam- the world is one family. The adoption and integration of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam into our values and morals creates a global community. By comparing several global organizations, World Central Kitchen, Grameen Bank, VF Corporation, and TikTok who exhibit each outlook, this paper examines the world as a global marketplace vs. the world as a family. The following comparisons demonstrate how allowing inner transformation and interconnectedness through spirituality and a global, familial mindset can positively change global exigencies’ outcome.

Since the mid-Seventies there has been a massive increase in the activities of indigenous minorities in the world. Their struggles have become global news, and they have entered numerous global organizations so that they have become an international presence. This, I shall argue, does not mean that they have been globalized and that they are just like everyone else in today's globalizing world. They have been part of many a national scene for many decades. They have been marginalized in their own territories, boxed, packaged and oppressed, sometimes even unto death. But this has changed in many parts of the world, because the indigenous is now part of a larger inversion of Western cosmology in which the traditional other, a modern category, is no longer the starting point of a long and positive evolu-tion of civilization, but a voice of Wisdom, a way of life in tune with nature,a culture in harmony, a gemeinschaft, that we have all but lost. Evolution has become devolution, the fall of civilized man. But there is a social reality to this change as well since the voices of the Other are the voices of real people struggling for control over their conditions of existence. This struggle is not about culture as such, but about social identity of a particular kind, indigenous identity, which is constituted around cultural and experiential continuities that are only poorly mirrored in Western categories, not least in anthropological categories. Fourth world struggles have been partially, and in some cases very successful, but they do not operate in a simple structure where the only larger context is the national state. They are also part of a dynamic global system, one that is multiplex and contains a number of related processes.

The current environmental crisis is largely due to a particular conception of the human relationship to nature. Common in anthropocentric traditions of Western thought, this view depicts human beings as separate from, and superior to, all other beings in the natural world. Traditional East Asian understandings of this relationship are quite different and remarkably unanthropocentric, especially as exemplified in the ideas of Chinese Daoism and Japanese Buddhism. The human-nature relationship in the philosophies of Kūkai (aka Kōbō Daishi, 774–835) and Dōgen (1200–1253) offers a notion of somatic practice designed to bring about a transformation of experience. Both thinkers advocate philosophy as a way of life that can help us to engage the world in an ecologically responsible manner.

Video art is conveyance of creation of human emotions from a person who share similar emotions using digital media. It is conveyed through spiritual and emotional movements of the creators with definite aims concerning traditions, customs, beliefs, religions, and local ways of life. A range of issues in three border provinces of southern Thailand: Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat, were brought up. With depiction of separatist terrorism in the area, video art might be able to tell complicated, over-a-decade-long story triggered by two incidents: the Tak Bai Incident and the clash at Krue Sae Mosque, which brought the three provinces to public attention. The video art provides a way to understand the society, human empathy, and conflict of interest in Bannangsata District. These aspects were conveyed through the local’s ways of life with religion as a spiritual keeping by believing that God has determined everything and that they, as human, have to face any test they are given. The end of the video art presented what cannot be narrated by words about the area, and showed more than what the news may offer, which intensifies fear. The researcher studied various aspects of Bannangsata District and has shown them through a type of artistic media called video art, specifically about the issue of women’s suppression as experienced by those who survived series of tragic incidents. The video art aimed to raise awareness about changes of a way of life in the area and to create sympathy for fellow human beings there. The researcher realized that empathy for fellow human beings was significant for the existence of the world and that it cannot be relinquished. This chapter explores three different issues: how familiar the Sages were with Greek culture and through which agents of culture they learned about it, to what extent they were influenced by it or how many different elements they adopted from it, and how tolerant the Sages were regarding the use of Hellenistic elements by the Jewish public. Here, complex cultures are characterized by multifariousness and stratification. The history of culture reveals a wide diversity of needs and tendencies, expressed in the social context, and the power or weakness of the mechanism for screening and supervision to control all aspects and layers of the cultural system. Any attempt to limit the scope of Judaism as a religious way of life thus assumes that the Jews were somehow unlike all other human beings. Or, that they had the same cultural needs as all humanity, but were able to satisfy and answer these needs by themselves, being totally independent of any outside help or influence.

CONTEMPORARY MAYAN GROUPS’ CONCEPTS ABOUT ANIMALS The concepts Mayan groups have regarding fauna involve knowledge and practices that result from sharp observation of their surroundings. This paper articulates important aspects of human-animal interaction in order to demonstrate the complexity underlying the notion of what animals mean in the Mayan world and the implications for the inhabitants of these areas. Narratives regarding the origin of animals in different Mayan stories describe the nature of animals, the role they play in the world and their relationship with humans. Animals’ privileged position as a bridge between human beings and deities and other beings can be read through animal signs and omens. Contact with animals in their natural environment enables diverse kinds of relationships that are of use to indigenous people in developing their way of life and their explanations about the world.
