The Research paper is going to analyse the agriculture marketing concepts which are considered important for marketing of agriculture produce in India. Marketing of agro produce has change over a period of time. It is no longer a farm output which is only consumed in the specific geographies or district or a state but it has cross the boundaries of the state and ventured in to the other parts of the country. The product can also be sold directly in the local markets or through different distribution channels across the state. The three functions which have to be undertaken before it reaches the consumer are Cleaning, Grading, Packaging and made ready for transportation to various agents at APMC markets with the help of co-operative societies. Chillies are not stored in the raw form when it is plucked from the fields. So marketing becomes essential as the product shelf life is short before it goes for consumption. Hence, distribution plays a vital role in the marketing of chillies.

Media plays a vital role in our society today. With the advent of mass media, including television and more recently, video and computer games, children and teenagers are exposed to increasingly higher doses of aggressive images. Media is a double-edged tool. On the one hand, it plays an important role in framing public opinion, and on the other, its character is to sensationalize issues to attract readers. But its objective should be clear; that is, to reform a juvenile and not to penalize him or her.  The article depicts the media's influence on juvenile delinquency and the tendency for delinquency. Several media reports show the cases of juvenile delinquency, with special reference to India.

Small Scale Industries play a crucial role in the development of any country and contributes significantly in the economic development of the country. Those who have studied the Athenian system of command in the fifth century have confined themselves almost entirely to the period after 440 B.C. They have raked over the evidence to discover signs of double representation of one tribe on the board of strategi, or of a supreme among the or of a chairman at least of the board of strategi. On the other hand little attention is paid to the progressive diminution of the military functions of the archon polemarchus within the state and to the great problems created in external affairs by the Persian Wars with the formation of the Greek League and then of the Athenian Alliance. Yet these matters are vital to the evolution of the system of command which can be seen in operation after 440 B.C. In particular the decisive steps were probably taken in 480–466 B.C., when Athens' national system of command had first to be integrated into a command-system of combined forces headed by Sparta in the Persian Wars and then adapted to take over the command of combined forces in continuous warfare against Persia. In this article I try to study the whole field and to avoid applying to the early part of the period the theories which have been evolved hitherto with special reference to Pericles in 440–428 B.C. The article consists of the following sections. A, Strategos and Hegemon in 501/0. B, C, current ideas on the modern term D, the historical origins of the so-called E, summary of conclusions.

The purpose of this study is to trace the development of Portuguese Indian policy m America from 1500 to 1755 as reflected in Indian labor legislation. Special attention will be paid to the northern, more tropical part of Portuguese America which was known during a large part of the colonial period as the State of Maranhão. The State of Maranhão must not be confused with the modern Brazilian state of the same name. Colonial Maranhão included an enormous territory, very largely Amazonian, extending from Ceará on the East to Grão Pará on the West. It was created in 1624 as a separate administrative unit of Portuguese America, and its capital was São Luiz. The other unit of the Portuguese possessions in the New World was the State of Brazil, extending south from Pernambuco, with its capital at Baía. Our interest will lie primarily in Maranhão, although the legislation on Indian labor passed before the establishment of Maranhão will be considered for background purposes.

The term “Queer” mainly refers to anything which pertains to sexual behavior, identity or personality which does not conform to the conventional social or heterosexual norms, and assumptions. Being queer was and still is seen as an abnormality by multitudes in the society. Although it has been more than two years since the decriminalization of homosexuality in India, there are still plenty of societies which ill-treat, ostracize and look down upon the LGBTQ communities. The state of Kerala, having the highest literacy rate amongst all the other states in India, also happens to be one of the states which still look at queerness as an illness and an abnormality, which has to be dealt with and ‘cured’ through counseling and medication. However, in the midst of all these preconceived notions and social injustices against the LGBTQ communities, ‘Films’ stand as a strong medium of communication and a voice for the LGBTQ communities who are seen as ‘nobodies’ in our society. Films that have a theme of queerness tend to stand out from the cliché themes such as [heterosexual] love, patriarchy, hegemony, crime, and so on. The focus of this research paper is narrowed down to Malayalam films which stand as a solid foundation in order to show the portrayal of queerness and this is incorporated through a research question. Malayalam films aren’t just a source of entertainment, but it is also an emotion and an important part of life to the people of Kerala. The portrayal of queerness in Malayalam films have taken a bold stand, with exemplary performances in films like Randu Penkuttikal (1978), Deshadanakkili Karayarilla (1986), Chanthupottu (2005), Njaan Marykutty (2018), Moothon (2019) and more. This research paper throws light upon the various ways in which Malayalam films depict the theme of queerness, which is further carried out by a strong message with regard to the ill-treatment of the LGBTQ communities, the harsh realities and injustices faced by these sexual minorities who live a life filled with difficulties and hardships as they struggle to get a well paid job in a our stereotypical society, that labels them off as a bunch of “misfits.”

Not very long ago, scholars saw it fit to name a new and quite widespread phenomenon they had observed developing over the years as the “judicialization” of politics, meaning by it the expanding control of the judiciary at the expenses of the other powers of the State. Things seem yet to have begun to change, especially in Migration Law. Generally quite a marginal branch of the State's corpus iuris, this latter has already lent itself to different forms of experimentations which then, spilling over into other legislative disciplines, end up by becoming the new general rule. The new interaction between the judiciary and the executive in this specific field as it is unfolding in such countries as the UK and Switzerland may prove to be yet another example of these dynamics.

The note is about the appeal lodged by the late Mrs Winnie Madikizela-Mandela to the SCA against the decision of the Eastern Cape High Court, Mthatha, dismissing her application for review in 2014. In that application, she sought to have reviewed the decision of the Minister of Land Affairs, to transfer the now extended and renovated Qunu property to Mr Mandela and to register it in his name. Because her application was out of time, she also applied for condonation of her delay in making the application. The court a quo dismissed both applications with costs, holding that there had been an undue delay on her part. Mrs Mandela then approached the Supreme Court of Appeal, for special leave to appeal the decision of the court a quo. Two questions fell for decision by the SCA: whether there was an unreasonable and undue delay on Mrs Mandela’s part in instituting review proceedings; and whether the order for costs was appropriate in the circumstances of the case. The SCA held that there was indeed an unreasonable delay (of seventeen years). Shongwe AP (with Swain, Mathopo JJA, Mokgothloa and Rodgers AJJA concurring) held that the fact that there had been an undue delay does not necessarily mean that an order for costs should, of necessity, particularly where, as in this case, the other litigant is the state. It is the writer’s view that two other ancillary points needed to be raised by counsel and pronounced on by the Court: (a) the lawfulness and regularity of the transfer of the Qunu property to Mr Mandela; and (b) Mrs Mandela’s status as a customary-law widow—in relation to Mr Mandela.
