Цыплятам опытных групп вводили БОД с суточного возраста внутримышечно в дозе 0,02 мг/кг (группа 1) или орально в дозе 0,06 мг/кг (группа 2) один раз в 72 ч (5 введений); контрольной группе 3 (зараженный контроль) препарат не применяли. Цыплята этих групп на 10-й и 15-й день подвергались заражению смесью Еimeria acervulina и E. tenella. Группу 4 (интактный контроль) заражению эймериями не подвергали и препарат ей не применяли. Установлено, что максимальный падеж птицы после первичного заражения наблюдали в зараженном контроле - 37,5%. В опытных группах при внутримышечном введении БОД падеж составил 28,5%, при оральном - 14,2%. Максимальная средняя живая масса цыплят на 21 сутки опыта наблюдалась в группе 2, получавшей БОД орально; разница с показателем зараженного контроля составила 4,24%, интактного - 1,50% в пользу группы 2, что говорит о ростостимулирующем эффекте препарата. Средняя длина кишечных ворсинок в тощей кишке в группе 2 была достоверно больше на 37,7% по сравнению с зараженным контролем (р<0,001). Полученные результаты дают основание рекомендовать препарат БОД для профилактики эймериоза кур в дозе 0,06 мг/кг живой массы с первых дней жизни, орально каждые 72 ч (5 введений). THE EFFICIENCY OF A BIOTINYLATED DERIVATIVE OF OXIDIZED DEXTRAN IN CHICKEN WITH EXPERIMENTAL EIMERIOSIS KOPTEV V.YU.1, AFONYUSHKIN V.N.1, DAVYDOVA N.V.1, ONISHCHENKO I.S.1, LEONOVA M.A.1, SHKIL N.A.1, BALYBINA N.YU.1 1 Siberian Federal Scientific Center of Agrobiotechnologies of Russian Academy of Sciences The effects of a biotinylated derivative of oxidized dextran (BOD) in chicken with experimental eimeriosis were studied on 4 treatments of chicks of a layer cross (10 birds per treatment, 1-21 days of age). BOD was applied intramuscularly in the dose 0.02 mg/kg of bodyweight (treatment 1) or orally in the dose 0.06 mg/kg (treatment 2) since 1 day of age every 72 hours (5 applications totally); treatments 3 (infected control) and 4 (intact control) were not treated. Treatments 1, 2, and 3 were intragastrically infected by a mixture of Eimeria acervulina and E. tenella at 10 and 15 days of age. The mortality cases were recorded and diagnosed daily, average live bodyweight was recorded weekly; at 21 days of age all survived chicks were euthanized for microbiological and histological investigation of the intestine. Maximal mortality level after the first infection (37.5%) was found in treatment 3, in treatments 1 and 2 it was 28.5 and 14.2%, respectively. The highest live bodyweight at 21 days of age (83.33 g) was found in treatment 2, higher by 4.24% in compare to treatment 3 and by 1.50% in compare to treatment 4, evidencing the growth stimulating effect of the preparation. Average height of the jejunal villi in treatment 2 was significantly higher in compare to treatment 3 by 37.7% (p<0.001), the microscopy also evidenced the prevention of structural injuries in the intestinal villi induced by eimeriosis in treatment 3. The conclusion was made that BOD is an effective preventive preparation against eimeriosis in chicken, the most effective being five-fold oral administration since the first days of age at the dose 0.06 mg/kg every 72 hours. Intermittent Lighting Improves the Efficiency of Artificial Insemination in Cage Housed Laying Hens Kavtarashvili A.Sh., Kolokolnikova T.N. Federal Scientific Center “All-Russian Research and Technological Poultry Institute” of Russian Academy of Sciences Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center Summary: The effects of different lighting regimes on the oviposition schedule, productive performance, and reproductive efficiency in cage housed laying hens of layer parental flock (Hisex White-R) were studied; the reasonable regime of artificial insemination (AI) under intermittent lighting is proposed. It was found that intermittent lighting regime 1L:4D:4L:1D:4L:10D compared to the constant lighting significantly alters oviposition schedule: under this regime 82.3% of all daily eggs were laid until 9 am (vs. 66.6% in control). This regime and AI at 10 am improved the productive and reproductive performance compared to control (constant lighting 16L:8D and AI at 12 am): mortality by 1.9%, egg production per initial hen by 3.8%, egg weight by 1.1%, percentage of eggs suitable for incubation by 1.9%, egg fertility by 0.9%, hatchability by 2.3%, hatch of chicks by 2.9%, feed conversion ratio (kg of feed per 10 eggs) by 5.3%, the expenses of electric energy for lighting (per 1000 eggs suitable for incubation) by 54.5%. The article studies the possibility to use glycerol as cryoprotectant, instead of dimethylsulfoxide for cryopreservation of sperm of inconnu ( Stenodus leucichthys Gueldenstaedtii, 1772). Investigations were carried out from 2015 to 2016 in the laboratory of the Southern Scientific Center, Russian Academy of Sciences, on the basis of the Astrakhan State Technical University. The material collected on the Alexander sturgeon hatcheries (the Astrakhan region) in the spawning period. Native sperm of 6 male inconnu species was used as a control means. The semen quality was determined in terms of moving activity (life time) of sperm after its activation by water. As the cryoprotectant there were used: base solution - 80%, sucrose - 1.71 g/l, mannite - 0.98 g/l, yolk - 10%, dimethylsulfoxide - 10% and base solution - 87%, sucrose - 1.71% g/l, mannite - 0.98 g/l, yolk - 10%, glycerol - 3 variants: 3; 5 and 10%. In order to provide the most complete penetration of cryoprotectants into the cells there were used electrostimulation of cell membranes. Equilibration time was 5 and 15 minutes. Thawing semen was performed in a water bath at a temperature of 38-40°C. For removing protectors from cells there was chosen a saline solution (0.7% NaCl) as isotonic solution. In tests using dimethylsulfoxide life activity of sex cells was 2 times lower than in tests with glycerol: 78 and 186.2 s at the end of equilibration and 52.3 and 128.9 s after thawing. Sperm showed maximum activity under 5% glycerol concentration during equilibration - 15 min. Concentration of 3% was insufficient, concentration of 10% was excessive, as it suppressed activity of sperm. Egg yolk which coagulated together with glycerol, making difficulty for observing, had to be excluded from the composition of cryoprotectant.

The author proves that the library which was opened in 1899 at the Statistics Committee of Dagestan region can be considered the first research library in the region, because it promoted the growth of research potential of the Committee and the development of own methods of conducting the various researches, and also the library was of great assistance to experts and scientists in studying the region. Its stocks formed the basis of Research library of the Dagestan Scientific Center, Russian Academy of Sciences.

Показана актуальность изучения экологической пластичности древесных растений в связи с необходимостью подбора адаптированного видового состава деревьев и кустарников для защитных лесных насаждений в условиях климатических изменений. Установлено, что экологическая пластичность и пределы толерантности растений связаны со свойством организмов адаптироваться к тому или иному диапазону факторов среды. В статье представлен таксономический состав орехоплодных культур коллекций ФНЦ агроэкологии РАН. Это шесть видов рода Juglans: J. regia, J. mandshurica, J. cinerea, J. rupestris, J. ailanthifolia, J. nigra и три вида рода Corylus: С. avellana L., С. аmericana W., сорта С. pontica C. Koch Президент, Футкурами, Черкесский2. Приведены сведения о положительном опыте культивирования Corylus avellana L. в плантационных насаждениях (1,6 га, посадка рядовая, схема размещения 55 м) в условиях южных черноземов. Цель исследований изучить экологическую пластичность орехоплодных кустарников коллекций ФНЦ агроэкологии РАН. На примере родового комплекса Corylus получены материалы по экологической пластичности орехоплодных кустарников в условиях каштановых (кадастр. 34:36:0000:14:0178), светлокаштановых почв (34:34:000000:122 34:34:060061:10). Установлены уровни изменчивости морфологических признаков ассимиляционного аппарата и плодов С. avellana L., сортов С. pontica C. Koch., которые согласуются с зимо и засухоустойчивостью. Кластерный анализ позволил выявить корреляцию признаков при 5 уровне значимости. Для целей защитного лесоразведения и озеленения засушливых районов рекомендованы Corylus avellana и Черкесский2 с выраженной вариабельностью морфологических признаков, которая указывает на их широкую экологическую валентность и адаптационные возможности в рассматриваемых условиях. The urgency of studying the ecological plasticity of woody plants in connection with the need to select an adapted species composition of trees and shrubs for protective forest plantations in the context of climate change is shown. It is established that the ecological plasticity and tolerance range of plants is associated with the ability of organisms to adapt to a particular range of environmental factors. The article presents the taxonomic composition of nut crops in the collections of FSC Agroecology RAS. Six species of Juglans: J. regia, J. mandshurica, J. cinerea, J. rupestris, J. ailanthifolia, J. nigra and three species of the genus Corylus: С. avellana L., С. аmericana W., varieties of C. pontica C. Koch the President, Futkurami, Circassian2. Data on positive experience of cultivation of Corylus avellana L. in plantation plantings (1,6 hectares, landing ordinary, the scheme of placement of 55 m) in the conditions of southern chernozems are given. The purpose of the research is to study the ecological plasticity of nutbearing shrubs of the collections of the Federal scientific center for Agroecology Russian Academy of Sciences. For example, a generic complex Corylus submissions received on the environmental plasticity of nut bushes in the conditions of brown (the cadaster nubmer 34:36:0000:14:0178), light chestnut soils (34:34:000000:122 34:34:060061:10). The levels of variability of morphological features of the assimilation apparatus and fruits of Corylus avellana L., С. pontica C. Koch varieties were established., which are consistent with winter and drought resistance. Cluster analysis revealed the correlation of features at 5 significance level. Corylus avellana and Circassian2 with a pronounced variability of morphological features, which indicates their broad ecological valence and adaptation capabilities in the conditions under consideration, are recommended for the purposes of protective afforestation and greening of dry areas.

Oil and petroleum products transportation is characterized by a significant cost of electric power. Correct oil and petroleum products accounting and forecasting requires knowledge of many factors. The software for norms of electric power consumption analysis for the planned period was developed at the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Based on the principles of the relational data model, a schematic diagram/arrangement for the main oil transportation objects was developed, which allows to hold the initial data and calculated parameters in a structured manner.

В настоящей статье рассматривается проблема изучения музейной коллекции буддийского изобразительного искусства Калмыкии, а также сохранения художественного наследия в условиях глобализации культур. Автор ставит цель создать научно обоснованные информационные ресурсы на базе исследования музейных коллекций и экспонатов. Информация составляет суть музейного дела, в основе которого лежит научно-исследовательская деятельность, объединяющая сферы комплектования, учета и хранения фондов, с одной стороны, с другой коммуникативная, связанная с экспозиционно-выставочной деятельностью. Исходными в работе музея являются не только сохраняемый фонд, но и сведения об экспонатах, собираемые в процессе комплектования фонда и создания каталога музейного собрания, состоящего из коллекций. Основываясь на богатой традиции описания и каталогизации предметов искусства, а также применяя современные технологии и искусствоведческие методы, стало возможным подготовить и издать научный каталог коллекций основного фонда Музея традиционной культуры имени Зая-пандиты Калмыцкого научного центра РАН. This article discusses the problem of studying the museum collection of Buddhist fine art in Kalmykia, as well as preserving the artistic heritage in the context of globalization of cultures. The author aims to create scientifically based information resources that include research on museum collections and exhibits. Information is the essence of museum business, which is based on research activities that combine the fields of acquisition, accounting and storage of funds, on the one hand, and on the other hand, communicative activities related to exposition and exhibition activities. The initial work of the museum is not only the preserved fund, but also information about the exhibits collected in the process of acquiring the fund and creating a museum collection catalog consisting of collections. The Zaya-Pandita Museum of Traditional Culture of the Kalmyk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences stores and presents in the educational sphere multidisciplinary and largely unique information about the cultural heritage of the people. Based on a rich tradition of describing and cataloging objects of art, as well as using modern technologies and art criticism methods, it has become possible to prepare and publish a scientific catalog of the collections of the main fund of the Zaya-Pandita Museum of Traditional Culture.

Introduction.Dorje Soktunovich Bembeyev-Salmin is one of the famous representatives of the old Kalmyk intelligentsia, a linguist, orientalist, public and political figure. His scientific works and biographical information are preserved in the private archive of D. S. Bembeev-Salmin in the Scientific Archive of the Kalmyk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (F. 10). This archive contains 12 items of storage for 1959. Among them are translations of works by Russian writers to the Kalmyk language, manuscripts of the text «The Orthography of the Oirat-Mongolian writing», Kalmyk folk proverbs and sayings, triads, pentastichesrecorded by D. S. Bembeev-Salmin. Of particular interest are the triads ― «orchlngingurvnts»(‘that there are three in the world’), recorded by him in 1931, they are one of the varieties of Kalmyk riddles. The themes of the riddles of the triads are diverse: everyday life, house hold activities, material culture, nature, family and kinship relations, ethics. D. S. Bembeyev-Salmin translated some of the three verses himself. This determines the value of the materials collected by him and their introduction into scientific circulation. The full text of the manuscript materials is published for the first time in this article.

Review of the book Mind Games: towards understanding the nature of prejudice and conflict, or how to learn to live in peace by Terrence Webster-Doyle. Mind Games: To understand the roots of prejudice and how to learn live peacefully: a scientific and educational publication. T. Webster-Doyle. Samara Cultural Society Artifact-Cultural Diversity. Samara: Samara Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences; 2020. 55 p. Reviewer considers that T. Webster-Doyles book is a brilliant example of how conflicts can be resolved most effectively without theorized distraction. T. Webster-Doyles book is small in volume, but very significant in content. The author offers a real program for taming the conflicts and violence that fill the entire human history. Until now, there is a clear lack of research on the universal determinants of the emergence and dynamics of conflict. A paradoxical situation arises when methods of conflict resolution are studied and modified, despite the fact that its initial determinants are not accurately determined. The models of taming conflicts that are being replicated in the social sciences almost do not solve the very problem of overcoming violence in society. Note that T. Webster-Doyle defines her book as the most significant work of her life. The author proposes an original approach to the determination of the conflict and defines the ways of its resolution in direct relationship with the understanding of its determinants. Also, the advantage of the book is a good literary presentation of the material. T. Webster-Doyle views conflict as a phenomenon created by the human mind, which at the same time, in a paradox, is trying to solve a problem which it itself creates. This work is devoted to the study of the determinants of conflict, which are considered comprehensively in the relationship of biological and social determinants: as generated by genetically programmed brain programs and at the same time as a function of peoples perception of the world around them and each other. The author notes that the universal basis of biological programming is the general motivation the desire to survive. Consequently, this work presents a program for resolving the conflict based on a comprehensive consideration of the conflict as a sociobiological phenomenon, which is based on the conditioned thinking of a person (primordial biological protection of his brain). The advantage of the book is its versatility. The author does not just consider the problem of the conflict, its components, the parties to the conflict, conflict genes, the incident, etc. He is looking for an approach that allows you to take a fresh look at this problem and find ways to prevent and destroy the conflict.

The varieties and hybrids of cucumbers cultivated in the Astrakhan region are insufficiently productive and are largely affected by a number of diseases. The introduction of innovative developments into production, in particular, new varieties and hybrids of domestic selection, largely solves the problem of import substitution and food security. The goal is to use promising breeding lines and their offspring as genetic sources and donors when creating new varieties and hybrids for open field conditions in southern Russia.Methods. Experiments were carried out in the fields of Precaspian agrarian federal scientific center of the Russian academy of sciences, according to the methods used in the Astrakhan region. Within three years, 47 collection samples were tested.Results. The article presents the results of studying the 12 most promising ones, distinguished by a complex of valuable economic traits, in particular by yield, amicability of fruit setting, which are of interest for further breeding work. According to the results of the data obtained, we can say that the best were the lines: 13-88RZ, 13-101RZ, Gherkins, KRASTAVAC, Courage, Zina, they can be used to create new varieties and hybrids of cucumber as donors of a predominantly female type of flowering, harmonious yield.
