The rapid technology advancement and the significant decline of investment costs in wind and solar energy generation have opened up a significant opportunity to build these facilities on closed opencast mines or mines in the phase of closure around the world, where large available areas are almost ideal for such projects. In that sense, it is necessary to give an analysis of the possible application of wind and/or solar energy production in the Republic of Serbia’s mines, as well as the dynamics of such a generally ambitious and long-term project with conceptual solutions.

The Charanka Solar Park, one of the world’s largest multi-developer and multi-beneficiary solar parks, is the hub of solar power production in India. It contributes about 6 per cent to the total solar power production in the country. Although solar power is more expensive than the traditional power in the country, its sheen is still not high to make it a potential source to eliminate energy crisis not just in India but all across the world. Researchers are continuously pushing their envelope to explore as to why solar energy should be adopted over traditional energy sources irrespective of the fact that it is more expensive. The war between its financial and strategic viability is going on. Efforts are being made in the direction of reducing its costs and making it as a financially viable and strategically active option. This case is an attempt in the same direction. We are using Charanka Solar Park as a base to explore if there is any future for such projects in the country. There are projects which are no doubt operational but their long-term viability is truly questionable.

The innovation in the energy sector involves the use of renewable resources and the transition to eco-energy, which requires a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages for the economically sound choice when deciding on the energy strategy for each region. The use of alternative energy sources in Russia and the world is analyzed, which brings us to a conclusion that Russia is currently in an intermediate position in this area. Measures are proposed in orderd to strengthen the government support for Eco energy. It is held that the development of solar energy will play the largest role in the innovative development of the Republic of Tatarstan. The article is devoted to the problems of solar energy in Russia and Tatarstan respectively, as well as to the prospects for its development based on the proposed legislative, investment, financial and organizational solutions. The article provides a methodology for the comprehensive and effective adaptation of foreign experience in the field of alternative energy and a roadmap for the implementation.

Although forests supply a major part of the energy needs of the less developed countries in the world, the industrialized nations cannot look forward to very significant contributions from existing forests in this matter. Even if the economic problems of cost are ignored there is not enough wood left, even in a forest-rich country like Canada, to provide more than about 5% of the energy needs of the country after the requirements of the forest products industries have been met. Forests can, however, supplement other energy sources in certain situations. Energy farming seems to be the only way in which forestry can make a significant long-term contribution to energy supply, particularly if research in development of wood-fired generating plants and management of stands for energy production is pursued.

This paper deals with the influence of solar modules soiling on their energy efficiency. Soiling is the term used to describe the deposition of dust on solar modules. Dust, most often contains organic minerals and particles which result from the burning of fossil fuels, etc. In research studies investigating the influence of dust on the solar modules efficiency in the world, in the Solar Energy Laboratory at the Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics in Nis, and in the Solar Energy Laboratory at the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska, it was concluded that all types of dust negatively affect the energy efficiency of solar modules, with ash, limestone (calcium carbonate), red soil and sand (silicon dioxide) having the greatest impact.

Introduction: Antidepressants have become one of the most frequently prescribed drugs in the world. One of the most common side effects impairing the long term compliance for antidepressants is sexual dysfunction. Antidepressants like Sertraline have been associated with higher incidence of sexual dysfunction than Mirtazapine. However, there are studies which show that incidence of sexual dysfunction after use of Mirtazapine may be higher than previously expected. The aim of the study was to assess and compare the incidence of sexual dysfunction after therapy with Sertraline and Mirtazapine in a Nepali population. Material and Method: Patients needing antidepressant therapy but with minimal or no sexual dysfunction at baseline were randomly assigned to either Mirtazapine (n=54, 7.5-30 mg) or Sertraline (n=54, 25-100 mg). Various aspects of sexual functioning at baseline were measured with Change in Sexual Functioning Questionnaire (CSFQ) and the same were reassessed at 4 weeks. Results The incidence of sexual dysfunction seen in 42.9% patients in Sertraline group and 23.7% patients in Mirtazapine group. Sertraline showed significantly greater decline in Orgasm scores than Mirtazapine. Conclusion: Psychiatric referral rate and psychiatry morbidity was low. Sertraline caused significant decline in Orgasm aspect of sexual functioning. Although lesser in propensity, Mirtazapine is not free of adverse effect of sexual dysfunction. More studies are need to further confirm these findings.

The long-term First Secretary of the Czechoslovak Communist Party and later also President of the Republic, Antonín Novotný (1904–75), was popularly known as “Nice Tony”. As a communist politician and statesman, Novotný was well known as a great disciple and follower of Soviet leader Nikita S. Khrushchev, famous for his personal and very contact-oriented diplomacy. The main contours of several of Novotný's official visits have already been analysed from political and diplomatic history perspectives. Based on archival research and available memoirs, this article tries to reconstruct the still non-visible and unknown view of transport history and, consequently, traveling and tourism history. It outlines the general contours and several aspects of V.I.P. communists’ international travels on the cases of several trips abroad which took place during the 1950s and 1960s of the Cold War era.

This paper presents different models of health systems in the world as well as selected important challenges that they face. Also, the paper presents historical and modern concepts of development of health cooperatives in selected countries, including the Republic of Serbia. Observing the long-term sustainability of different models of health systems, certain weaknesses are pointed out, but also the significant role of health cooperatives in these systems over time, both in the international and national context. A view of the work of health cooperatives during the COVID-19 pandemic in selected countries is presented with examples of innovations in organizational terms that health cooperatives have applied in order to increase efficiency and to respond to business and health challenges posed by the pandemic. A potential answer to the presented weaknesses of health systems is to consider establishing and strengthening health cooperatives, having in mind their role in those systems throughout history, with special reference to the Republic of Serbia where health cooperatives were founded during the 19th century. However, although Serbian health cooperatives were a model for the development of health cooperatives in the world, since 1949 health cooperatives in Serbia are almost non-existent. Following the genesis of the development of these organizations and their modern role in societies around the world, the conclusions indicate the flexibility and resilience of health cooperatives to adapt to new socio-economic conditions, innovation of these organizations shown over time, importance and contribution to societies during their history and during the emerging pandemic. Also, the need for a change in public policies is pointed out, which would enable the establishment of a larger number of health cooperatives in the Republic of Serbia in response to the growing challenges of the health system, following the example of the world.

The study deals with the socio-economic geographical analysis of the solar energy production — one of the most rapidly developing industries of the world energy complex. The aim of the study is to identify and explain main features of the territorial structure of solar energy production and assess its role and place in the world. The paper also investigates the factors that affect the development of solar energy production itself as well as the deployment of individual solar panels or solar power stations. The study carried out is based on the review of datasets and official documents which enable to draw a conclusion that the result of an intensive development of solar energy production is its dynamic spatial expansion visible in the emergence of new poles of growth which largely changes the territorial structure of the industry, transforming it from a monocentric to polycentric.


The paper is related to the solar energy power generation, more specifically the paper revolves around the topic of solar tree. This paper shows how efficient and important is the solar tree for this generation. This presents how solar trees converts the solar energy into electrical energy. Sunlight irradiates daily and blasts out an enormous amount of solar energy towards the earth, the total energy that is received from the sun is more than enough for humanity to run for many years, still the received solar energy is not harnessed properly and hence there is not sufficient energy production in the world. Since solar panels are the efficient method nowadays for generating electrical energy from the solar energy, but solar panels requires lot of space to install. Hence this paper solve this problem by using solar tree that is mounting of solar panels on artificial tree..

Serbia is becoming more dependent on imported primary energy to meet its increasing energy demand. The ratio of indigenous primary energy production to primary energy consumption is decreasing. Therefore, it is of great importance for Serbia to make use of its indigenous energy resources more effectively, including its solar energy potential. Knowledge of global solar radiation is essential in the prediction, study, and design of the economic viability of systems which use solar energy. In this paper, the solar radiation data on Cacak (lat 43.87?N, long 20.33?E) are analyzed based on 4 years of global solar radiation data measured on a horizontal surface. The distributional solar radiation parameters are derived from the available data and analyzed. The available solar radiation data on a horizontal surface are converted to that of various tilt angles and the yearly and monthly optimum tilt angles are determined.
