Assessment of landscape attractiveness often struggles with the challenge of differences in human tastes. In the present study, the relationship between preferences shaped by the biological and cultural evolution of mankind and the qualities of landscape attractiveness were examined. The aim of the study was to determine the types of landscape as related to evolutionary behavior patterns and preferences regarding the choice of a partner in different types of relationships. The research hypothesis was that the sets of traits preferred by human partners can be reflected in sets of preferred qualities of landscape attractiveness. The translation of human qualities into qualities of landscape was done through anthropomorphization using the phenomenological method and research techniques based on branding (e.g., the brand personality construct). During the investigation, the following types of landscape attractiveness were identified: Landscape of Prosperity, Youth, Femininity, Temptation, Friendship, Transition, and Money. The developed typological division is a step towards recognizing new sources of preferences for aesthetic and cognitive landscape values. This framework could be interesting for landscape valuation and planning, as well as research on the cultural character of the landscape, as a resource important in the context of sustainable development.

The existence of a global governance agenda requires companies all over the world to get involved in implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, previous study showed that corporate involvement in the achievement of SDGs is overall still limited and question on the company motives to disclose SDGs remains unclear. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the association between SDGs disclosures and company values. This study also aimed to analyze the moderating effect of type of industry on the association between SDGs disclosures and company values. Study was conducted on companies listed in IDX, which disclosed SDGs in their Sustainability Reports. The results of this study suggest SDGs disclosures is associated to company value, which confirmed the signaling motives in the involvement of corporate SDGs. The results also showed that different types of industry could weaken the relationship between SDGs disclosure and company values, when associated with high-profile industry companies.

Approaches to defining the essence of the concept of sustainable development are analyzed; the definition of sustainable development in terms of "challenge", "response" basing on the provisions of the civilizational approach is suggested. The paper suggests considering the development to be sustainable if it provides the ability for society to form adequate "responses" to the "challenges" that arise in the process of civilizational development. Emphasis is placed on the necessity, in the context of the concept of sustainable development, of the transition from economic to ecological-economic system (hereinafter EES). Sustainable development of the EES is a development that combines the environmental, economic and social aspects of society. The necessity of forming sustainable development potential to achieve sustainable development goals as a set of different types of resources and other factors needed to achieve specific sustainable development goals is substantiated. At the same time, the continuity of the development is achieved without the quantitative growth of many traditional economic parameters and, above all, further continuous population growth, extensive economic growth and anthropogenic pressure on the biosphere. Based on the analysis of approaches to interpreting the concept of "potential", the methodological bases for forming the potential for sustainable development of ecological and economic systems are developed. The relationship between system resources and the potential of the ecological and economic system is studied. Ecological and economic potential is considered as a result of synergetic interaction of potentials of the main subsystems: ecological, social and industrial. This potential identifies opportunities for the development of a particular ecological and economic system to achieve the goals of sustainable development of the ecological and economic system as a whole and its main subsystems.

Purpose The aim of this study is to explore the relationships between actual (ASC) and ideal self-congruence (ISC) and harmonious (HBP) and obsessive brand passion (OBP). Design/methodology/approach Study 1 uses a sample collected via Amazon’s Mechanical Turk to test a baseline conceptual model which links ASC and ISC to HBP and OBP. Study 2 employs a sample outsourced through Qualtrics. Study 2 had dual objectives: to replicate Study 1 using a larger and more diverse sample and to test whether hedonic brand characteristics may affect the hypothesized relationships between two types of self-congruence and two types of brand passion. Findings The findings suggest that different types of self-congruity influence different types of consumer passion for the brand. Specifically, a fit between brand personality and one’s true self (ASC) helps develop a passion for the brand that is self-affirming and in harmony with other facets of the consumer’s life. Fit between brand personality and one’s ideal self (ISC) leads to OBP. The results suggest that hedonic benefits of a brand do not moderate the relationship between ASC and HBP. Originality/value This research examines the duality of brand passion (harmonious and obsessive) and the relationships with consumers’ ASC and ISC. It provides insight into how a product-related context variable (hedonic nature of the product) can moderate these relationships and further augments the nomological network of the dual brand passion concept in the brand consumer context.

The article deals with the problem of achieving sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to reveal the relationship between the components of sustainable development, taking into account the involvement of indigenous peoples in nature conservation. Climate change makes achieving sustainable development more difficult. Indigenous peoples are the first to feel the effects of climate change and play an important role in the environmental monitoring of their places of residence. The natural environment is the basis of life for indigenous peoples, and biological resources are the main source of food security. In the future, the importance of bioresources will increase, which is why economic development cannot be considered independently. It is assumed that the components of resilience are interrelated and influence each other. To identify this relationship, a model for the correlation of sustainable development components was developed. The model is based on the methods of correlation analysis and allows to determine the tightness of the relationship between economic development and its ecological footprint in the face of climate change. The correlation model was tested on the statistical materials of state reports on the environmental situation in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra. The approbation revealed a strong positive relationship between two components of sustainable development of the region: economy and ecology.

The article analyzes the problem of the relationship between the philosophy of law and the scientific theory of law. The problem under consideration has become especially urgent in the Russian educational space in connection with the introduction of the Philosophy of Law discipline master's degree in law after a long break. The author of the article takes as the basis the thesis that the philosophy of law, being the sphere of philosophical thought, and the theory of law as a field of scientific socio-humanitarian knowledge are different types of theoretical discourse. Based on this, the article builds a theoretical concept according to which the task of the philosophy of law as a philosophical type of thinking is the construction or explication of ontological, epistemological, axiological, phenomenological grounds for the formation and functioning of concrete scientific theoretical and legal and historical and legal constructions. To implement the task posed in the article, the key characteristics of both a theory of a philosophical type and ideals, norms and characteristics of scientific knowledge are examined in detail. The revealed difference is extrapolated to the relationship between the theory of law as a product of scientific creativity and the philosophy of law as a construction that sets basic philosophical meanings. As an example of the foundations of the scientific theories of progress, state, morality and law developed by the philosophy of law and the state, the author gives the views and thinkers of the West European philosophical classics T. Hobbes, J.-J. Russo, I. Kant, G.V.F. Hegel. It was their philosophical concepts that predetermined the images of theoretical and historical-legal doctrines of the XVIII, XIX, XX and even the beginning of the XXI centuries. Thus, the attitude of the philosophy of law and the theory of law is built along the «vertical»: from the ontological foundation to the construction of theoretical and historical and historical legal scientific constructions.

The relationship between people and the sea is weakening every year. We have conducted education for sustainable development (ESD) of the sea, aimed at deepening their understanding of the relationship between humans and the sea. We get method and we think that it can be a model to be implemented in other areas. The content of the lessons introduced on this occasion, we think that children were able to learn broadly about the ecosystem services of the sea, and became interested in the sea from many angles. we conducted more lessons, the willingness to take action by themselves has been nurtured.
