The work considered a system of knowledge control of the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University. It was shown that the quality of higher education depends mainly on the level of student training, the qualifications of teaching staff, the organization of the learning process, the efficiency of monitoring the quality of the education, and also factors allowing to improve the quality of education in the university. Assessment of the knowledge quality received by the students in the "Chemistry" discipline was carried out among the students of the Automobile Faculty of the KHNADU, entered the first year of the Bachelor of full-time education, during 2014/15–2018/19 academic years. The control was carried out with the help of traditional pedagogical practice types – the main (preliminary, final, and control of residual knowledge) and periodical (current and thematic knowledge tests). Statistical research on the performance of the main types of students' knowledge control, as more significant, shows that the important part of educational activity in university is an effective organization of its control. It was established that main principles of the control of students’ knowledge received during learning subject are the regularity and systematical conduct, the objectivity of assessment of the level of students' skills, the ability to identify the actual level of learning educational materials by the students, the timeliness of identification of the gaps in the learning process by the teacher and applying ways to overcome them. The internal and external factors affecting the performance of students during studying the "Chemistry" discipline have been distinguished. The internal factors are the knowledge level before entering the university and the motivation for learning the subject. The external are an organization of the educational process, self-organization of student learning activity, teaching methods and forms and professionalism of the educator, quality of additional services (holding consultations and individual lessons), educator-student relationship. It was identified that during studying the "Chemistry" discipline, the influence of the factors that students had before entering the university is weakened, and the external factors, which appeared in the process of studying in university, have a significant impact.

Now a days, universities improve their educational process and search to reduce the desertion, lag and law terminal efficiency index, therefore change the teachers’ roll, students’ participation in their training and teaching methodologies. The problem of managing the educational process in the implementation of language education in a non-linguistic University is studied on the example of MGIMO Odintsovo branch (Moscow region). We consider the mechanisms, algorithms, and systems of pedagogical management, including LMS (learning Management System), which can be used in the conditions of standard, mixed, and distance learning, including during the forced full transition to remote mode in the spring of 2020 and the introduction of mixed learning in the 1st semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The article presents an algorithm for pedagogical management of the educational process in the field of implementation of language education in a non-linguistic University, which includes the following stages: planning, design, motivation, implementation, monitoring and reflection. The algorithm has been successfully implemented in our University, including in the conditions of the COVID – 19 pandemic. The conditions of pedagogical management of process of implementation of language education (humanistic orientation, taking into account specifics of the spiritual and moral development and the needs of students and individual (gender and age, level of proficiency, etc.). local language system characterized by the following parameters: the dominance of a clear and verified the goals of language education; the combination of complex ideas, the whole process of language education and work programs, teaching materials, etc.; permanently managed correction and development of the language teaching process taking into account changing external and internal conditions, requests and goals; monitoring of the achieved learning results. The criteria for evaluating the quality of management effectiveness are highlighted: the order and transparency of the process of implementing language education; the presence of the "backbone" of the teaching staff of the Department, the cohesion of the University itself "vertically" , etc. The introduction of the proposed algorithm of pedagogical management of the educational process in the field of language education implementation into the educational process of MGIMO showed its effectiveness, which was reflected not only on the results of the session and state exams, but also on the level of language training of graduates who reached the desired B2-C1/ C2, having initially A2/B1. Moreover, the implementation of the algorithm developed by US at MGIMO allowed not only to systematize and simplify the management process.

Annotation. The article is devoted to the implementation of the principles of “student voices” and teacher`s feedback in the process of improving the teaching and learning pharmacology. There were introduced results of the students questionnaire, which were conducted in 2017, 2018, 2019, according to the questionnaire developed by us, together with teachers of the Department of Medical Psychology. Every year from 300 to 500 respondents were interviewed, and in 2019 another 247 4th year students were included in the survey. According to the results of the survey, 76–85% of respondents (3rd and 4th year students, respectively) did not change their attitude to the chosen specialty. 78% of respondents believe that the quality of education at the university is high. At the same time, about 90% of respondents are satisfied with the quality of lecture material, and about 88% of respondents are satisfied with the quality of practical classes. According to the assessment of studying at the department on a scale from “not at all interesting” to “very interesting”, 84.9% of respondents chose the answer “very interesting”. Assessment of the teacher's attitude to the student as a person showed a good attitude in 96% and unsatisfactory – in 3.9% of respondents. Students noted that to improve their knowledge and deeper understanding of the subject, they need to increase the number of practical classes (32% – 3rd year and 48% – 4th year). So, the data obtained made it possible to analyze the effectiveness of existing methods of teaching pharmacology, student satisfaction with the educational process, the final results and the quality of competencies. Also, to determine the role and function of the teacher in modern reality, to choose the vector of potential changes in the competencies of the teaching staff of the Department of Pharmacology.

The article reveals the problems that arise during the preparation of law specialists. Moreover, the increasing number of universities are not able to resolve the situation. The authors analyze the reasons of deterioration of the quality of law education. An attempt to identify gaps in the field of law education has been made, as only proper diagnosis of the disease allows you to select effective treatment. In order to reform law education, it is necessary to involve members of the community who will watch the process of the university optimization, establish contacts between the faculties and various organizations. It is necessary to be more exacting to the teaching staff. The core problem is a drop in the quality of secondary education. The reforms have had a negative impact on the educational process. The opportunity to graduate for a fee leads to a further devaluation of education, to the unprecedented scale of corruption in educational institutions, to the rapid increase in the number of low-grade law schools and faculties producing ignoramuses with lawyer diplomas from year to year. Unjustified multiplication of the university branches has not led to either an increase in competition between them or to improvement of the quality of law education in our country. A serious drawback in preparation of future lawyers is a lack of attention to the practical aspect of the training, as a result, having textbook knowledge only, the students getting down to real work experience a kind of inferiority complex. Ways of optimization of legal education aresuggested.
