This article explains that persecution is not only happening or experienced by the general public, but it is also experienced by the Lord's Church. This opinion is evidenced by evidence of information obtained from the Bible, especially the New Testament and also in the Church's historical literature. Then discussed further with the church because the church fellowship is different from the world or does not come from the world. Because the Church has been chosen and set apart by God to live differently from the world or live like Christ. And because Christ had already experienced it, then the later Church which is a follower of Christ also experiences similar things. And this writing is endowed with perspectives that have many benefits for the Church. As described above, there are at least five benefits. Such as: the empowerment of the Church may imitate the suffering that Christ has undergone or rather the Church has done the will of Jesus; persuasion helps spread the gospel in the world, persecution of the church can be a means of God to filter and filter out which true believers and non-believers, the quality of the church's faith will be further enhanced through persecution, and persecution of the church can help the church to bear fruit.

Communicating faith in a pluriform worldThe pluriformity of the postmodern world presents the church with challenges on different levels. The theological discourse can be based on the pluriformity inherent to biblical material, as well as on the dynamic dialectic of the great variety of theologies in the Bible. The principle of symmetrical communication serves as an example of how pastoral care to a postmodern society can be approached. By making use of narrative communication, pastors facilitate genuine intersubjectivity. Preachers adhere to the principle of symmetrical communication when their sermons are characterized by an authentic spirituality and spiritual growth.

Leadership is a task given by Jesus Christ to Christians through His Church. Leaders are needed by every human being to achieve happiness and prosperity in all fields. Thus the Church has an important role in improving leadership for the spiritual growth of God's congregation because through qualified leaders people can understand correctly how to actually follow God. With this quality leader, people can understand who and for what God created them. Seeing the existence of a congregation that always needs guidance in spiritual growth, and that requires someone who can accompany The congregation is a leader or shepherd who is often referred to as the Pastor of the congregation. And not many Christian ministers or often referred to as Congregational Pastors have these criteria. So that they cannot be an example in the lives of the people they lead. The study recommended that all aspects of inclusivity, acceptance and being welcome need to be accorded to all Christians, regardless of their marital status; The Church in Africa could borrow a leaf from the Church in the West in practicing the doctrine and social teaching of the church, about accepting members as they come; and Pastoral Councils and Christians in leadership need to be on the front line in practicing inclusiveness and acceptance of every Christian.

Article visualizations:

Eschatological issues were Gogol’s problems throughout his life. Almost all of his work, both artistic and journalistic, were imbued with Apocalyptic mood. Being an Orthodox, Gogol built his life in accordance to the church calendar which includes the annual charter of holidays and worship when the cycle of readings of the Gospel is repeated for the teachings of spiritual growth of a man. Gogol’s Eschatology rooted in apocalyptic New Testament and patristic heritage. His notes on the margins in the Bible testify his steadfast and abiding interest to eschatological matters of Scripture. The words "Even so, come, Lord Jesus" (Revelation 22: 20), carved on the tombstone of Gogol, express, without doubt, the most important thing in his life and work: the desire for the acquisition of the Holy Spirit and soul preparation for the meeting with the Lord.

Many churches and Christians are still unfamiliar with the practice of discipleship, and even if they are familiar with the term discipleship, there are still many who are reluctant or less serious in making discipleship the core of church ministry. It is for this purpose that this research was conducted. The method used is a literature study from discipleship and church experts which is analyzed to get the root of the problem and concepts that should be according to the Bible so that applications can be drawn for today, especially for Christian education patterns in church discipleship or churches that make disciples. The result of this research is the discovery of several applications that are very important for the perspective of Christian religious education related to the church and discipleship that must be continuously worked on, namely: First, Discipleship is the responsibility of all Christians. A huge place in the spiritual life of medieval Rusich was occupied by the Bible, although for a long time Kievan Rus did not know it fully. The full text of the Holy Scriptures appears in the Church Slavonic language not earlier than 1499.

Is it possible for conservative Protestant groups to survive in secular institutional settings? Here, Bramadat offers an ethnographic study of the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) at McMaster University, a group that espouses fundamentalist interpretations of the Bible, women's roles, the age of the earth, alcohol consumption, and sexual ethics. In examining this group, Bramadat demonstrates how this tiny minority thrives within the overwhelmingly secular context of the University.

Grace and Freedom addresses the issue of divine grace in relation to the freedom of the will in Reformed or “Calvinist” theology in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth century with a focus on the work of the English Reformed theologian William Perkins, and his role as an apologist of the Church of England, defending its theology against Roman Catholic polemic, and specifically against the charge that Reformed theology denies human free choice. Perkins and his contemporaries affirmed that salvation occurs by grace alone and that God is the ultimate cause of all things, but they also insisted on the freedom of the human will and specifically the freedom of choice in a way that does not conform to modern notions of libertarian freedom or compatibilism. In developing this position, Perkins drew on the thought of various Reformers such as Peter Martyr Vermigli and Zacharias Ursinus, on the nuanced positions of medieval scholastics, and on several contemporary Roman Catholic representatives of the so-called second scholasticism. His work was a major contribution to early modern Reformed thought both in England and on the continent. His influence in England extended both to the Reformed heritage of the Church of England and to English Puritanism. On the Continent, his work contributed to the main lines of Reformed orthodoxy and to the piety of the Dutch Second Reformation.
