One solution to help Situbondo residents obtain information about the geographical location and services of government offices so that it needs to be designed mapping of the Geographic Information System of the Situbondo Regency Government Office. With this system, it is expected to provide geographical location information, office services, information services, and office agendas. In making this system, researchers used the methodology for developing a waterfall system, with several stages carried out starting from Requirements to Maintenance. The results of this study are expected to overcome the problems faced by the Situbondo district government office.

Listening is as important as speaking  or giving a speech to an audience.Very few leaders realize  that conversation determines the growth and productivity of the organization / company they  lead. Most people also believe that they have heard effectively in a conversation, which is one of the main elements in effective communication. This type of research was quantitative descriptive analysis.  This research was conducted on the core implementers (managerial and executives from various divisions) from several companies or organizations in the city of Medan, as many as one hundred (100) respondents who worked in the fields of education, health, community service, law, hospitality, and entrepreneurship. Data collection techniques were carried out in two ways, namely by using a questionnaire and google form. Google form was used only for leaders who have very limited time because of their work. Then a short interview was conducted relating to the answers given. For data analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis techniques was used using figures or pictures showing the magnitude of the numbers or frequencies of the answers provided and followed by data reduction and drawing conclusions. The results showed that almost all respondents believed that they had heard effectively. But in reality this was not the case. Most leaders experienced personal interference where they always tried to be an entertainer when listening to the other person. As listeners, their minds were always preoccupied with finding ways to make the other person feel valued, happy and approved.

Many people want to support the orphanage but still have difficulty getting accurate information about the orphanage and the location of the orphanage so they have to go to the social service office or by asking the community to get information about the local orphanage. This surely  has an impact on the activities of donors who donates on a regular basis without knowing the conditions of other orphanages in the local area that are more likely to receive the donation. This application applies a Location Based Service (LBS) system that is able to detect the location of an orphanage, then can provide information services in accordance with the user's location. LBS is a location-based service, which is an internet-based service that is able to display position geographically from a smartphone or provide location information from the destined address. The aim of this research is to create an application that can provide information to donors through android about the location of orphanages in Makassar City with navigation features and display information related to orphanages to make it easier for donors to conclude which orphanages need more donations. This application can provide information for donors of android users to get convenience in finding and knowing the location of orphanages in the city of Makassar through an android mobile device to do donation activities.

Abstract Contemporary models of light conditions on the forest floor can be divided into two categories: undercanopy models that allow the light conditions in a stand under the canopy to be simulated, and models that take into account shielding from the side. Under-canopy models precisely estimate the availability of wavelengths of light spatially distributed under the canopy of stands: however, these models require a large amount of data on the spatial structure of forest stands. The other class of models describe the light conditions on a particular open surface. These incorporate shielding from the side and are easier to use as they require less data than under-canopy models. In practice, in forest conditions, such models require data on the size, shape and geographical location of surveyed surfaces (e.g. gaps and cut areas) and on the height of the surrounding stand. Often, these data are available in databases, such as the State Forest Information System (SKP), orcan otherwise be obtained relatively easily (and inexpensively). Compared to under-canopy models, these models provide a cheap way to obtain useful information on variation in the light environment that affects the microclimate for regenerating plants on clearcuts and canopy gaps.

SUMMARYBurkholderia pseudomallei, the causative agent of melioidosis is associated with soil. This study used a geographic information system (GIS) to determine the spatial distribution of clinical cases of melioidosis in the endemic suburban region of Townsville in Australia. A total of 65 cases over the period 1996–2008 were plotted using residential address. Two distinct groupings were found. One was around the base of a hill in the city centre and the other followed the old course of a major waterway in the region. Both groups (accounting for 43 of the 65 cases examined) are in areas expected to have particularly wet topsoils following intense rainfall, due to soil type or landscape position.

Lack of marketing facilities makes this company unable to include all of costumers in the city of Semarang. Data recording is still using paper, so this company were at risk of paper lost which is containing data that has been recorded . Development of an information system in this study using the method of the waterfall. Waterfall model consists of: requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. For the start of the design, developer need to observations or interviews to determine the needs of the system that being developed. Applications developed using the framework CodeIgniter. The results of this final project is an information system that can meet the needs of Liochita Cleaning in the management of these services, customers and orders in accordance with the business processes that Liochita Cleaning have and allow customers to book services .

Poverty is one continuing social issue which is hard to solve. Dealing with this problem, Islam has already had the alternative solution that is tithe (Zakat). Zakat is implemented to decrease economy imbalanced appeared in the society. While in fact, not all the Moslem pay Zakat. There are five factors as the reason why Moslem didn’t do that. First, some Muzakki wants to deliver his zakat directly.Seconde, not all Muzakki know how much Zakat must be paid. The other factors are Limited information about Mustahik home, limited time that Muzakki have to deliver his Zakat directly and the easiness to report Mustahik data. Dealing with those factors, it is required to have an information system which can make Muzakki meets Mustahik. In this research, information system application used Extreme Programming (XP) development method. XP method is required to program a system which will be made by accomodating the users’ needs and expectations.
