To reduce organic waste in catfish maintenance media (Clarias gariepinus) and waste management wastes a cultivation management technology is needed, one of these technologies is bioremediation using Bacillus subtilis as a bioremediator. This study aims to analyze the parameters of organic matter content including TOM (Total Organic Matter), Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat. The study was conducted in January-February 2019. This study used a factorial completely randomized design (Factorial RAL) with the addition of Bacillus subtilis 4 treatments including controls (K = Control, D1 = 100 ml / L, D2 = 10 ml / L and D3 = 1 ml / L) at 24th, 48th, 72nd, 96th and 120th hours, consisting of three replications. The results obtained from this study indicate that the concentrations of each parameters in treatments D1, D2 and D3 were lower than those of controls, indicating that Bacillus subtilis can reduce organic waste from catfish ponds. The best treatment was W5D2 as bioremediation of catfish organic waste with the remaining TOM 16.23% with an efficiency value of 84%, remaining protein 86.66% with an efficiency value of 13%, remaining carbohydrate 63.91% with an efficiency value of 36% and remaining Fat 52.69% with an efficiency value of 47%.

Agribusiness is one of the areas with the greatest impact, which, due to the processes involved within this area, generates waste that, given its composition, is used in optimal materials to be used for degradation methods in the production of composting, different microorganisms such as Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Aspergillus help in the decomposition of waste from agribusiness, the metabolic activity of these microorganisms allows the degradation of animal and plant tissues such as cellulose, starch, pectin, proteins, agar that intervene in nitrification and nitrogen fixation processes, for the degradation process it is necessary to carry out in composting beds of organic waste isolated with strains of the rhizosphere from the natural forest of CIPCA the strains use the dimensions of 4 x 1 x 1 giving a city layer of 4𝑚3 or about 640 kg of organic rough which are covered with geo mucosa, surrounded by gutters to collect leachate two produced by the effect of degradation, this process of degradation of organic matter allows to obtain a product with characteristics such as earthy odor, texture and uniform structure, where a pH close to neutral was registered in the control beds, gradually increasing from that moment with slightly alkaline values where it does not present characteristics of the initial organic matter, reducing the volume by 35%, for this the objective is to maintain Controller of certain parameters of temperature, humidity, pH, compost ratio and organic matter content.

Gold mining activities have negatively impacted post-mining land into poor nutrients, low pH, toxic soil, due to heavy metal content, low water holding capacity, low organic matter content and unstable land conditions. To change the tailings to be more productive many of the available technologies, such as the use of manure, compost, litter or the use of soil microbes such as mycorrhiza. The addition of manure can additionally increase nutrient available, can also improve the physical and biological properties of the soil. Alaurites moluccana (L) Wild) is one of the plants classified as a pioneer species because it can grow on critical land with low soil fertility and open soil. Research on ameliorant of tailings to increase the growth of  A. moluccana  in the nursery aims to obtain a mixture of ameliorants with the tailings to enhance the growth of A. moluccana  in the nursery. Treatment was given to the growth of seedlings of A. moluccana  using the Completely Randomized Design (RAL) exprotment method with a total of 8 treatments that included an ameliorant tailing control, tailings with ameliorant a (1: 1, 1: 2, and 1: 3), tailings with ameliorant b (1: 1, 1: 2, and 1: 3) and ultisol soil control, with each treatment repeated 5 times. Data collected were shoot hight (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of leaves and dry weight of plant. The result of tailings treatment  with addition of organic ameliorant gave a very significant effect on the growth of height, diameter, number of leaves and dry weight of the A. Moluccana.  The best media treatment for all parameters is M6 (tailings: kotoran sapi 1: 3). Although virtually all treatments with organic ameliorant  provide better results than controls without the addition of organic ameliorants.Keywords: Tailings, ameliorant, A. moluccana , organic.

Loss of organic matter content of cultivated soils is observed in many regions of Europe. The possibility of using organic waste as a soil additive that enriches the soil with organic matter and essential components is important in soil quality protection and waste management. This research concerned the influence of six organic wastes—two industrial composts, three digestates and meat bone meal—on soil microbial properties. The study of functional microbial diversity concerns the determination of the catabolic capacity of bacterial, fungal and anaerobic communities in relation to carbon substrates in metabolic profiling plates (Biolog® ECO, FF, AN (Biolog Inc., Hayward, CA, USA)). The assessment of genetic diversity was made on the basis of analysis of the restriction profile of ammonia-oxidizing archaea. Additionally, soil dehydrogenases activity was determined. The research showed that the type of organic waste used had an influence on the microbiological parameters. The application of exogenous organic matter caused increases in functional and genetic microbial diversity. The nature of the noted changes was short term and periodic. The values of the microbiological parameters in soils with organic waste were similar to those of the control samples. This indicates an improved microbiological balance and stability of the soil environment after the application of exogenous organic matter.

Abstract: Aim The increment of decomposition of organic matter in sediment samples from Nile tilapia farms was evaluated with the introduction of Bacillus subtilis and B. licheniformis bacteria. Methods Sediment samples placed in 18L plastic boxes received single dose inoculum with the following concentrations: 1.21 x 106 CFU g-1 (equivalent to 75 g ha-1), 2.41 x 106 CFU g-1 (equivalent to 150 g ha-1), 4.82 x 106 CFU g-1 (equivalent to 300 g ha-1) and 1.61 x 107 CFU g-1 (equivalent to 1000 g ha-1), in addition to a control treatment with saline solution only. Organic matter content, total organic carbon (TOC) and oxidizable (OOC), total nitrogen (TN), ratios (TOC: N and OOC: N), clay content, pH in water, Shoemaker, McLean, Pratt index (SMP Index), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) contents, potential acidity (H + Al), cation exchange capacity (CEC) at pH 7.0, base saturation (V) and sum of bases (S). Results The values of OM showed significant difference, between the lowest values (treatments 75, 150 and 300 g ha-1) and the highest value, (control treatment). TOC, OOC, NT and their relationships (TOC: N and OOC: N) showed significant differences between the mean values of the control treatment and the other treatments. Conclusions The addition of Bacillus subtilis and B. licheniformis bacteria increased the decomposition rate of organic matter in sediments samples from Nile tilapia farms.

HighlightCatfish aquaculture wastewater contains organic matter that exceeds the quality standard of 68.75 mg / L and 72.48 mg / L.Tutut Jawa snail (F. javanica) can reduce organic matter in waste by up to 92%.Susuh Kura snail (S. testudinaria) can reduce organic matter in waste by up to 87%.Catfish aquaculture wastewater treatment with snails only takes 8 hours. Abstract The residual or wastewater from the cultivation process that is discharged directly into common waters can reduce the quality of the waters because it contains a lot of organic material from organism feces and feed residue, so it needs management first. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of Javanese snails and freshwater gastropods to reduce total organic matter in catfish culture waste. The research method used was the experiment with 2 factor Factorial completely randomized design, namely the measurement time (4, 8, 12, and 16 hours) and the abundance of the Tutut Java snail and freshwater gastropods (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and control) with 5 repetitions. Tutut Java snails were taken from the pond at UPR Sumbermina Dau and brought to the laboratory. The results obtained in the treatment with the addition of  Tutut Java snail, the total organic matter content decreased at 75% snail density by 90% (from 68.75 mg / L to 5.31 mg / L) at the 12th hour. The treatment with the addition of Freshwater Gastropods at a density of 25%, the total organic matter content decreased by 87% (from 72.48 to 9.35 mg / L) at the 8th hour. Water quality during the study was in a condition that could tolerate the Tutut Java snails and freshwater gastropods. The conclusion is that the addition of Tutut Java snail and / or freshwater gastropods can reduce the total organic matter content to the water quality standard.

Organic matter is one indicator of environmental fertility either on land or at sea. Content Organic matter in the waters will experience an increase caused by discharges from households, agriculture, industry and organic waste from land to coast. The objective of this research is to know the content of organic material in water and sediment in the waters of Coast Mirror and the relation of organic matter content to water and sediment. The result of calculation of organic matter content in water ranged from 26.6 – 49.3 mg/l and the content of organic matter in sediment ranged from 3.9 – 5.1 %. Furthermore, through simple linear regression test known that the relationship of organic matter content in water and sediment has a weak relationship with the correlation r = 0.53. The analysis of sedimentary fractions in the pulau halang muka is dominated by muddy substrates.

The study aims to determine the chemical composition and digestibility of midrib palm leaves from bioconversion results. Solid bioconversion using white oyster mushroom inoculum as a starter. This study used a completely randomized design (RAL) with 6 treatments and 3 replications. As a treatment  the white oyster mushroom inoculum consisted of 6 levels, namely 0g (with inoculum), 5g, 10g, 15g, 20g and 25g kg-1 substrate. The variables measured are the chemical composition and digestibility of nipah leaf midrib fiber bioconversion products. The results showed that organic matter content, ADF digestibility and nipah leaf midrib cellulosa bioconversion results were significantly different (P<0.05) but the dry matter content, crude protein and NDF digestibility did not show significant differences (P>0.05) due to the levels of white oyster mushroom inoculum. The best digestibility occurred at the levels of white oyster mushroom inoculum 20g kg-1 substrate with acid digestibility fiber 27,31% and cellulose 31,08%. It can be concluded thah the level of white oyster mushroom inoculum 20g kg-1 substrate for nipah leaf midrib bioconversion results is the best.

The study of heavy metal speciation in bottom sediments of the Vyshnevolotsky water reservoir is presented in this paper. Sequential selective procedure was used to determine the heavy metal speciation in bottom sediments and thermodynamic calculation — to determine ones in interstitial water. It has been shown that Mn are mainly presented in exchangeable and carbonate forms; for Fe, Zn, Pb и Co the forms are related to iron and manganese hydroxides is played an important role; and Cu and Ni are mainly associated with organic matter. In interstitial waters the main forms of heavy metal speciation are free ions for Zn, Ni, Co and Cd, carbonate complexes for Pb, fulvate complexes for Cu. Effects of particle size and organic matter content in sediments on distribution of mobile and potentially mobile forms of toxic elements have been revealed.

Soil, itself means Soul of Infinite Life. Soil is the naturally occurring unconsolidated or loose covering on the earth’s surface. Physical properties depend upon the amount, size, shape, arrangement, and mineral composition of soil particles. It also depends on the organic matter content and pore spaces. Chemical properties depend on the Inorganic and organic matter present in the soil. Soils are the essential components of the environment and foundation resources for nearly all types of land use, besides being the most important component of sustainable agriculture. Therefore, assessment of soil quality and its direction of change with time is an ideal and primary indicator of sustainable agricultural land management. Soil quality indicators refer to measurable soil attributes that influence the capacity of a soil to function, within the limits imposed by the ecosystem, to preserve biological productivity and environmental quality and promote plant, animal and human health. The present study is to assess these soil attributes such as physical and chemical properties season-wise.
