Higher education management refers to the five pillars of quality, autonomy, accountability,accreditation and evaluation (Dirjen Dikti, 1990), the ultimate goal of continuous qualityimprovement. Management improve the quality of higher education is defined as a professionalpublic service that is run and directed as much as possible to provide services that are in accordancewith the standards or more. In an effort to find out customer satisfaction in this case is the alumni ofthe Undana FISIP State Administration Study Program on service quality as measured by theinfluence of Alumni Satisfaction on Administrative Services, Academic Services and StudentFacility Services. According to the results of this study, adequate administrative services, adequateacademic services and unsatisfactory facility services. The relationship of simple correlation andshows the relationship between administrative services with academic services to the satisfaction ofalumni classified as moderate or quite satisfying alumni. Suggestions from the research team,services that are categorized as providing administrative and academic satisfaction to be maintainedand continue to be even better and improved, while our facility services the research team hopes toget special attention from the institution. This study aims to reveal: 1) student performance in the management education study program; 2) academic services carried out by the higher education management master's program at the University of North Sumatra; 3) whether there is an effect of educational services on student performance in the master's degree program in higher education management. The method used in this study is a survey method, namely by distributing questionnaires to respondents and describing respondents' answers qualitatively. Research Results: 1) Student performance of the UMSU Higher Education Management Masters Program, accustomed to being on time, taking notes from lecturers' explanations, actively preparing lecture materials, actively asking and answering questions, accustomed to making lecture summaries, filling out attendance lists, searching and reviewing source books, study groups, and participate in activities organized by the Study Program. 2) Administrative services have been carried out in an orderly and fair manner for 11 types of services, namely lecture scheduling, lecture preparation, lecture implementation, class determination, student grouping, lecture evaluation, thesis writing supervisor assignments, guidance process, implementation proposal seminars, thesis examination implementation, and student study completion process. All these services have been carried out satisfactorily and adequately. 3) There is a direct positive effect of administrative services on student performance in the higher education management study program. The results have significance for higher education. These findings can make academic service implications for student performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap: 1) kinerja mahasiswa pada program studi pendidikan manajemen; 2) pelayanan akademik yang dilaksanakan oleh program studi magister manajemen pendidikan tinggi Universitas Sumatera Utara; 3) apakah ada pengaruh pelayanan pendidikan terhadap kinerja mahasiswa pada program studi magister manajemen pendidikan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei, yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden dan mendeskripsikan jawaban responden secara kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian: 1) Kinerja mahasiswa Program Studi Magister Manajemen Pendidikan Tinggi UMSU, terbiasa hadir tepat waktu, mencatat penjelasan dosen, aktif menyiapkan materi perkuliahan, aktif bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan, terbiasa membuat ringkasan kuliah, mengisi daftar hadir, mencari dan mereview buku sumber, belajar kelompok, dan mengikuti kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi. 2) Pelayanan administrasi telah dilakukan secara tertib dan adil untuk 11 jenis pelayanan yaitu penjadwalan perkuliahan, persiapan perkuliahan, pelaksanaan perkuliahan, penentuan kelas, pengelompokan mahasiswa, evaluasi perkuliahan, tugas pembimbing penulisan skripsi, proses bimbingan, seminar proposal pelaksanaan,   pelaksanaan ujian tesis, dan proses penyelesaian studi mahasiswa. Semua pelayanan tersebut telah dilaksanakan dengan memuaskan dan memadai. 3) Terdapat pengaruh langsung positif pelayanan administrasi terhadap kinerja mahasiswa pada program studi manajemen pendidikan tinggi. Hasilnya memiliki arti penting bagi pendidikan tinggi. Temuan ini dapat membuat implikasi layanan akademik untuk kinerja siswa

In the recent years, the educational market has become more dynamic and complex. There are many market forces that are trying to shape the educational environment. The competition between universities is increasing. Public marketing is a fundamental tool in the promotion of places, one that must be present in the strategies of local government representatives, helping and promoting a sustainable economic and social development of the regions and universities. The prupose of this chapter is to analyze, measure, and perceive the impact of brand attachment on consumer behavior in the specific context of higher education in Portugal, based on the affective and emotional relationship between students and the higher education institutions. The results allowed us to conclude that the brand attachment has a preponderant role and impact in the relationship between the student and the institution of higher education. This chapter aims to further develop the understanding of the educational marketing for higher education institutions. Implications for future research are also presented.

Students’ feedback on online education has become of major importance for many higher education institutions. While researchers already identified students’ success factors and analyzed students’ satisfaction in online study programs and courses, the role of expectations in students’ online educational experience has been very often neglected in previous research. Our study adds here as it captures students’ expectations at the beginning of an online study program, highlighting the differences to traditional on-campus students. Our results reveal that expectations of on-line students differ from the expectations of on-campus students and must therefore not be confused. Furthermore, the assessment of student expectations is not only a way to consider and satisfy students’ needs in order to improve online programs or courses, but also a means to track the institutions own performance.Keywords: Online Education; Student Experience; Expectations, Retention, Higher Education Management

Higher education plays a vital role in the community and the universities are the backbone of the higher education system. Management is an important part of higher education; to survive. The administration of higher education is considered essential to achieving economic progress, political stability and peace. . In this research the researcher found the current challenges facing administrators to maintain the status of higher education in public and private universities. The objectives of the study were to identify the issues and problems faced by management to maintain the quality of higher education at the university level, to identify the importance of quality in the management of higher education, to help in updating our universities for best meeting future demands, and to suggest the possible solutions of current issues and problems to improve the quality of higher education management.  The qualitative approach was used as a research methodology in this study. Five universities from Lahore were selected for observing the current issues and problems about the quality of higher education management. Data were collected through interviews. The vice-chancellors, registrars, controllers, treasurers and heads of human resource departments of these universities were selected for interviews. Interview protocol was used for the collection of data. The results were analyzed with the help of initial codes and broad categories It was concluded that it is necessary for the quality of higher education, to boost up higher education management. It was also determined that all the universities management almost is trying to improve their abilities towards academic matters under the umbrella of Higher Education Commission(HEC). The researchers recommended that by removing the current issues and problems concerned to the management in the universities should be mobilizing financial, technical, human and social resources for enhancing the quality of education, and for facilitating the reform process initiated within these institutions.

   The research aims to identify the level of strategic leadership and quality of higher education, and testing the relationship of correlation and influence between strategic leadership and quality of higher education, The research problem was the role of strategic leadership in the quality of higher education of Diyala University. The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, distributed to 30 forms as a sample for research, analyzed using the SPSS program, For the purpose of testing research hypotheses. The research found a correlation and an impact between strategic leadership and quality of higher education. The research ended with a set of recommendations that it is hoped will benefit the concerned.

This quantitative, investigation was to explore mediating impact of emotional intelligence competencies on the relationship between conflict management styles and service quality of higher education. In this study, multi-stage cluster sampling technique was applied for the selection of sample whereas SPSS was used for testing the hypothesis which measures the direct and indirect effect. Structured questionnaires were used for data collection which comprised of 5 points Likert scale. The findings proved partial mediation to emotional intelligence competencies between the relationship of conflict management styles and service quality of higher education which indicates higher the emotional intelligence competency the staff has, would have the higher the ability to resolve day to day conflicts. The research suggests that faculty and staff training programs, workshops to improve service quality would help to narrow the gap between customer’s perceptions and expectations.

The quality of training is an important issue and is of special concern to universities. Lecturers has a pioneering role in innovation of higher education management since the quality of higher education is always associated with the quality of lecturers. Assessing job satisfaction of lecturers is a fundamental step for universities to improve quality and job satisfaction of lecturers as well as attract and retain qualified lecturers. This study aims at assessing job satisfaction of lecturers in Vietnamese universities. For the purpose of this study, quantitative research method was applied. The questionnaires were sent randomly to 131 lecturers from 48 universities in Vietnam via email and google doc. Then, data was analyzed by various tool including descriptive statistics, frequency, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. The study examined four factors affecting lecturer job satisfaction include Facilities, Job Characteristics, Salaries and Fringe Benefits, Development Opportunities. Specifically, Job Characteristics have the strongest impact on lecturer job satisfaction while Salary and Fringe Benefits have the smallest impact on lecturer job satisfaction. The research on factors affecting job satisfaction of lecturers helps universities to develop appropriate policies in order to maintain and develop lecturers, as well as attract talents and prevent the “brain drain”.

This research aims to examine what orientation needs to be considered by the college study program in improving the quality of the organization. The survey method is used in this research, where data collection is done using a questionnaire method. The variables measured are understanding benefits of quality, incentive support, work discipline, continuous improvement, and implementation of quality management certification. Data were obtained from 100 chairmen of higher education study programs in Surakarta City who were accredited with A & B. Sampling was using purposive sampling method where the retrieval technique used certain considerations. Validity test is done by the outer loading technique and reliability testing is done by composite reliability technique. Hypothesis testing uses path analysis where the t test is used as a statistical test. The entire test was carried out with the help of SmartPLS 3 software. The results showed that each hypothesis tested in this study showed a positive influence. Understanding the benefits of quality positive influence on work discipline and continuous improvement. Incentive support has a positive effect on continuous improvement. Work discipline has a positive effect on continuous improvement and implementation of quality management certification. Continuous improvement has a positive effect on the implementation of quality management certification.

The Object of Research: management of higher improvements and advisory services, aimed at achieving the program outputs of the educational process by creating conditions for effective advisory support for applicants and staff of educational institutions. The issue to study: the introduction of measures and methods of advisory management in the quality of higher education management. The Main Scientific Results: the conceptual bases of advisory management as a system of principles, measures and methods of advisory management are revealed. Based on the subject approach, the models of the advisory process in higher education institutions are identified and characterized, the effectiveness of combining the models of internal and external counseling to ensure the quality of higher education is proved. The Area of Practical Application of Research Outputs: higher education institutions and institutions managing higher education. Innovative technological product: on the basis of the subject approach the technologies of advisory management are revealed. The introduction of these technologies into management of higher education improvements allows to use effectively the opportunities of advisory models of knowledge and information flow to achieve program outputs of educational process. The field of application of innovative technological product: practice of formation, implementation and development of management system of educational services improvements.
