This study aims to determine the effect of musyarakah financing on the profitability of sharia commercial banks in Indonesia using the Return on Assets (ROA) ratio. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative research. By analyzing the data, it tends to study literature. The results showed that the musharaka financing had a significant negative effect on the profitability (ROA) of Islamic banks.

The purpose of this study is the effect of temporary syirkah funds, liabilities and equity of the financing risk and profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia; analysis of effect financing risk on profitability. The population is Islamic bank in Indonesia. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method. Observation number 11 bank research. Method of data analysis used the path analysis. Results of this study indicate that the fund temporary syirkah positive significant effect on the risk of financing received. The more the amount of funds held temporary syirkah the risk of non-performing loans to finance or Islamic banks NPF indicator becomes smaller. Obligations positive significant effect on the risk of financing. The larger a bank's liabilities, the risk of non-performing loans to the financing or NPF indicator will also be greater. no significant effect on the risk of financing. This means that the level of equity had no impact on the level of financing risk. Fund temporary syirkah positive significant effect on profitability. Obligations positive significant effect on profitability. Debt obligations or received will indirectly increase the amount of income. Equity does not significantly influence the risk of financing. This means that the size of the equity has no effect on the level of profitability and ROA indicators received by commercial banks financing syariah.Risiko significant negative effect on profitability. Conclusion the study shows that the temporary syirkah funds and liabilities have a significant effect on the risk of equity financing and profitability while no significant effect on risk financing and profitability.

This study aims to determine and analyze how much influence the bank's internal factors such as Equity, Operational Costs per Operating Income (BOPO), Financing Deposit to Ratio (FDR), Non Performing Financing (NPF) as a mediator and external or macroeconomic factors namely inflation and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on profitability represented by Return on Assets (ROA) at Bank Muamalat Indonesia for the period 2008-2018. The data used in this research are secondary data obtained from the publication of quarterly financial statements from 2008 to quarter 2 of 2018. The method that used in this research is path analysis with SPSS 20.0 as the analytical tool. The results of the study partially test the hypothesis (t-test), in substructure I shows that the capital variable has a significant negative effect on NPF, BOPO and inflation has a significant positive effect on NPF, FDR and GDP do not significantly influence NPF at Bank Muamalat Indonesia. In substructure II partially, Capital, BOPO, significant negative effect on ROA, FDR and NPF has a significant positive effect on ROA, Inflation and GDP does not significantly influence ROA while simultaneously significantly influencing ROA. Based on the sobel test, capital has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, BOPO has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, FDR has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, Inflation has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, while GDP has no significant effect on ROA through NPF.

This paper examines the accounting performance of the Islamic banking among (??) commercial banks in Malaysia. A total of 18 commercial banks which include 4 Islamic banks are selected as samples covering the period of 2000 - 2006. Accounting performance is measured by the return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). The objective of the study is (1) to determine whether Islamic banking performance is at par with the conventional banking and (2) to investigate whether the type (Islamic or conventional bank) and age of bank influence the performance. Result of the independence t-test of the study shows that there is no significant difference in the performance of the Islamic and the conventional banking in Malaysia although the mean score for conventional banking is higher. The regression results show that the age of banks has a positive impact on the bank performance where as none of the types of banks influence performance.

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze whether there is an Influence of Liquidity, Growth Opportunity, Asset Structure, and Non Debt Tax Shield on Capital Structure with Profitability as an Intervening Variable in Islamic Commercial Banks Registered at OJK 2016-2020 ". This research is a quantitative research using data sources derived from secondary data, namely the annual report. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. Of the 14 Islamic commercial banks registered with the OJK, only 11 are in accordance with the sample criteria in this study. This study uses the Eviews 9 application as a tool for data processing. The analytical methods used in this research are stationarity test, panel data regression model test, classical assumption test, regression test, and path analysis test. The results obtained in this study are liquidity has a significant negative effect on capital structure. Growth opportunity and asset structure have a significant positive effect on capital structure. Meanwhile, the non-debt tax shield and profitability variables have no significant positive effect on capital structure. Liquidity has no significant negative effect on profitability, growth opportunity has no significant positive effect on profitability. Asset structure has a significant positive effect on profitability, while non-debt tax shield has a significant negative effect on capital structure. From the results of the path analysis conducted in this study, profitability was not able to mediate the variables of liquidity, growth opportunity, and non-debt tax shield on capital structure, but for the asset structure variable profitability was able to mediate the influence of asset structure on capital structure.

Sharia banks are present because of people's needs for alternative transactions that are without interest or usury. One form of transactions in Islamic banks is financing including mudharabah, musyarakah and murabahah which are the most frequently used contracts. Musharaka financing is the biggest contributor to assets in Islamic banks. So the high financing will affect the level of profitability of Islamic banks. The researcher wanted to examine the risks of musharaka financing to the profitability of BPR Syari'ah Situbondo which will be projected with ROA. With the formulation of problem 1) What was the procedure for financing Musyarakah in the Syari'ah Situbondo Rural Credit Bank? 2) What did risks occur in musyarakah financing to return on assets? The approach used in this research was qualitative research. While the type of research used by researchers in this research was descriptive research means describing the variables, one by one. The results showed that the Musharaka financing procedure at the Syari'ah Situbondo People's Financing Bank by fulfilling the requirements to become a BPR Syari'ah Situbondo customer by signing and filling out an account bookkeeping application form containing a complete identity and must follow the procedures determined by the BPR Syari'ah Situbondo. Risks that occur were usually when the customer did not only have one project. The funds that had been disbursed by the SRB will be used for other projects. So that the risk of musyarakah financing affects the profitability of banks.

AbstractThe purpose of this study are to measure and analyze operational efficiency that showed by bank financial ratios consisting of Operating Expenses to Operating Revenues (BOPO), Allowance for Possible Losses on Earning Assets (PPAP), Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposits Ratio (FDR) to Profitability that measured by Return on Assets (ROA). The population in this research is 11 Islamic Banking (BUS) by using total sampling technique in determine the sample. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the annual report of the bank period 2010 to 2016 published by each bank and matched with the data also by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis. Based on the result of F-test in this research, it can be concluded that the independent variables (operational efficiency) have a significant effect on the dependent variable (profitability). Meanwhile, the t-test shows that BOPO ratio has a significant negative effect on profitability. For the other three ratios, PPAP, NPF and FDR have no significant effect on profitability of Islamic Banks (BUS).Keywords: Islamic banks; Operational efficiency; Profitability. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis pengaruh efisiensi operasionalyang diproksikan dengan rasio keuangan bank yang terdiri dari rasio Biaya Operasionalterhadap Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Penyisihan Penghapusan Aktiva Produktif(PPAP), Non Performing Financing (NPF) dan Financing Deposit Ratio (FDR) terhadapprofitabilitas yang diukur dengan Return on Asset (ROA). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 11Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) dengan penggunaan teknik total sampling dalam penentuansampelnya. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperolehdari laporan tahunan bank periode 2010 hingga 2016 yang dipublikasikan oleh masing-masing bank dan dicocokkan dengan data yang juga dipublikasikan oleh Otoritas JasaKeuangan (OJK). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel. Berdasarkan hasil uji-F pada penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel independen (efisiensi operasional) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen (profitabilitas). Sementara itu, hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa rasio BOPO berpengaruh negatif signifikanterhadap profitabilitas. Untuk tiga rasio lainnya yaitu PPAP, NPF dan FDR tidak memilikipengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas Bank Umum Syariah (BUS).Kata Kunci: Bank syariah; Efisiensi operasional; Profitabilitas.

This study examines the effect of sustainability reports on the performance of maqashid sharia in Islamic banks. The sample of this research is Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia for the period 2014-2018. The sustainability report is measured by the standard score of the GRI 4 sustainability report and the performance of Islamic banks is measured using maqashid sharia with 3 perspectives, namely education, justice and welfare. The method used is panel data regression with 3 research models. The results of the analysis of model 1 show that the sustainability report has a significant negative effect on the performance of maqashid sharia from an education perspective. In model 2, the results show that the sustainability report does not have a significant effect on the performance of maqashid syariah justice perspective. Model 3 shows the results that the sustainability report does not have a significant effect on the performance of maqashid syariah from the welfare perspective.

ROA is a comparison between pre-tax profit and total bank assets. Factors that can influence ROA must be observed by bank management in order to obtain optimal ROA. Optimal ROA shows that banks are able to make good use of assets owned to generate profits. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of CAR, NPL, DER and LAR partially on ROA in commercial banks on the IDX for the period 2013-2015. The sample in this study were banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2015, which totaled 31 banking companies, which were taken using the census method. Data collection is done by nonparticipant observation methods. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect between CAR and ROA. NPL shows a significant negative effect on ROA. DER shows a significant negative effect on ROA, and LAR shows a significant positive effect on ROA. Keywords: CAR, NPL, DER, LAR, ROA

Abstract: The present research was conducted at Riau Province. The purpose of this research is to influence of credit portfolio to non perfoming loan (NPL) and profitability (ROA) in Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) Convensional in Riau. The population of this research is a Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Convensional from annual report are listed in Perbarindo Riau during 2009-2013 with the number of saturation samples are 33 BPR in Riau. This research apply on using portofolio credit based on a type of used that is working capital loan, investment loan and consumer loan as an exogenous variable, credit quality (NPL) as an intervening variable and profitability (ROA) as a endogenous variable. The data were analyzed using path analysis. The result of this study indicate that working capital loan through credit quality indirectly significant negative effect on profitability, but the working capital loan directly positive effect on profitability. While investmen loan and consumer loan positive impact on profitability either directly or indirectly throught credit quality. Finally, credit quality and negative significant effect on profitability. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of mudharabah and musyarakah financing on profitability (ROA) at BPRS HIK Bekasi Karawang Branch Office. The research method using descriptive quantitative method with population is all quarterly financial statements of BPRS HIK Bekasi Karawang Branch Office. The results of the research conducted show that: (1) mudharabah financing has a positive and not significant effect on profitability BPRS HIK Bekasi Return on Assets (ROA) Karawang Branch Office 2009-2016 partially. This is evidenced by the sig value. 0.187> 0.05 and the value of t count is 1.351 <t table 2.042. (2) Musyarakah financing has significant negative effect on profitability BPRS HIK Bekasi Return on Assets (ROA) Branch Office Karawang 2009-2016 period partially. This is evidenced by sig. 0,000 <0,05 and the value of t count is -7,560> t table 2,042. (3) Mudharabah financing and musyarakah financing have a significant effect on profitability BPRS HIK Bekasi Return on Assets (ROA) Karawang Branch Office 2009-2016 period simultaneously. This is evidenced by the sig value. 0.000 <0.05 and the calculated f value is 31.022> f table 3.32.
