The Impact

This study examines the problem of the impact of Covid-19 on the Tourism Industry in the New Normal Era, which is a previously unusual or unfamiliar situation which is then made into a standard of habit or expectation. This research is expected to be able to further explain the impact of Pandemic Covid-19 on the tourism industry which must recover immediately from the slump in Post Covid-19 or in the New Normal Era, able to explain where the tourism industry is going, how governance and how the tourism industry will be able to adapt with the dramatic restructuring of the economic and social order in business and society. The method in this research is a qualitative method with case studies to describe the complete picture of the events under study. Data obtained from various sources, documents, and other written data. The findings of this study explain that all components of the tourism industry both government, hospitality, travel businesses, tourism objects and various other supporting institutions as a whole must be able to have protocols as a standard that must be adhered to in providing services and services in all sectors of the tourism industry. Meanwhile the governance of the tourism industry must be able to optimize marketing strategies by making full use of the various advantages of information communication technology that will be very dominant in all sectors of activity which will thus be able to adapt to various global economic and business restructuring.

Several studies have been conducted to examine the influence of technology on the travel and tourism industry. However, there exists limited literature on the adaptation and usage of Smartphone technology by Kenyan tour guides, a gap this study sought to address. The objective of the study was to examine the effect of Information Communication Technology (ICT) on tour guiding performance in Kenya, investigate the effect of smartphone usage on the guides’ performance and finally, explore the possibility of adoption smart guiding techniques by Kenya’s tour guides. The study used descriptive methods and target practicing tour guides as the respondents. The data collected was analyzed using the Pearson’s Chi-square test of independence. The findings indicated Smartphone technology positively influenced guides, performance (χ2=65.025;df 2; P<0.05).The study concluded that smartphone and information communication technology have significantly influenced guides performance and hence recommend to the government and other stakeholders to invest more in infrastructure that supports smart destinations, which offer interactive pre-tour services, during the tour and post-tour experiences. Innovation on applications that support real-time interaction with attractions, accommodation and financial institutions is recommended.

This research to analyze the impact of closure policy Teleju brothel by Pekanbaru govermentin 2010. Guidelines for works are Pekanbaru Local Regulations No. 12 of 2008 on Social Order-liness. Closure this brothel inflicts positive and negative impact for society.The research wasconducted to obtain early stage formula for the government to take action against the prostitu-tion activities. This research uses policy research approach with a qualitative method, becausein prostitution activities and prohibition by goverment is an assessment that needs to be done byanalyzing documents and unstructured interview.The results showed that after the closing of the Teleju brothel have an impact on the deploy-ment of a prostitution and affect the economy of the surrounding residents. Government seeksto tackle prostitution in Pekanbaru by moving the brothel, conduct regular raids and providetraining. The effort is considered to be less than the maximum because the handling is not basedon the root of the problem and not programmed properly. There are several causes of failure ofgovernment to overcome the prostitution problem in Pekanbaru, including: policy content isless focus on the prostitution problem, the government did not proceeds with data, lack of finan-cial support, contra productive programs between local government with the police and TNI,and the policy object is difficult to be given understanding.

In the era of the information-communication technology with the development of electronic commerce, consumers can buy almost everything anywhere and at any time. One of the greatest benefits of e-commerce has been the convenience and the vast choices which consumers get online. However, some serious issues exist that impede consumers from transaction online. These issues have attracted the attention of many marketing researchers in recent years. In this research, the authors focus on the impact of consumers' ethics perception of e-retailer on their purchase intention and satisfaction. The authors also try to clarify the roles of trust and commitment in the relationship of ethics on consumers purchase decision and satisfaction because of their importance in e-commerce but also the privation in the research of previous studies. The data collected from a survey of 390 online consumers in Vietnam. Results reveal that there are significant relationships between online retailers' ethics and consumers' purchase intention and satisfaction via the mediation of trust and commitment.

<p>Market performance is important to the company's development. This study examines the determinant factors of market performance through information and communication technology (ICT). The probability and simple random sampling methods were used to determine the sample. Furthermore, the research instrument was the questionnaire distributed personally to the respondents. The results show that the market performance of used car showroom MSMEs in the Malang was determined both directly and indirectly by information quality, eReadiness, use of ICTs, and market orientation, which is more dominant. The use of ICTs and market orientation fully and partially mediates the information quality and eReadiness on market performance, respectively.</p>

The purpose of the present research is to analyze the impact of COVID-19 in touristic activity enterprises, which offer several experiences such as routes, visits, among others, in Barcelona. Many of these businesses are micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). An online questionnaire has been designed in order to collect data. The study provides timely and insightful implications for tourism practitioners who will be expected to prepare the post-corona field for a new normal after the experience of restricted living during an unprecedented pandemic.

This paper provides an extensive review of the conducted research regarding various microgrids (MGs) control techniques and the impact of Information Communication Technology (ICT) degradation on MGs performance and control. Additionally, this paper sheds the light on the research gaps and challenges that are to be explored regarding ICT intrinsic-limitations impact on MGs operations and enhancing MGs control. Based on this assessment, it offers future prospects regarding the impact of ICT latencies on MGs and, consequently, on the smart grid. Finally, this paper introduces a case study to show the significance and examine the effect of wireless communication technologies latency on the converters and the DC bus voltage of a centralized controlled DC MG. A DC microgrid with its communication-based control scheme was modeled to achieve this goal. The MATLAB simulation results show that the latency impact may be severe on the converter switches and the DC bus voltage. Additionally, the results show that the latency impact varies depending on the design of the MG and its operational conditions before the latency occurs.

Education institutions around the world have seen rapid advances in ICT (Information Communication Technology) within the classroom since the mid 90s. Kuwait has realized the need for a high quality education system, and has seen huge increases in government funding for schools over the last 10 years. However, Kuwaits spending on technology and ICT has attracted little research regarding the impact it has had on students and teachers. For this reason, this study aimed to discover how useful ICT is within classes in Kuwait. The research used qualitative research to focus on 14 teachers from three different primary schools in Kuwait. The study focused on the amount of ICT that is used within Kuwaiti schools and the quality of ICT training provided for teachers. The study found that teachers lacked sufficient training in ICT usage as a teaching aid. Findings also revealed that programs provided by the primary schools in Kuwait were too basic and that further investment is required

The Covid 19 has had an impact on various sectors of human life. One of them is the tourism sector. The tourism industry which is predicted to be the second largest source of foreign exchange contributions for Indonesia has experienced a drastic decline. Likewise, the halal tourism sector has also been severely affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. This is because the key to developing the halal tourism sector is Muslim tourists or visitors who come. To revive the tourism sector, it requires a number of strategies prepared by the government to improve the economy in the halal tourism sector. The purpose of writing this article is to find out how the impact of Covid 19 on the halal tourism sector and how the strategy to revive the halal tourism sector during the Covid 19 pandemic. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques used is literature study. The results of the study state that the strategy to restore the halal tourism sector from the Covid 19 pandemic consists of 3 stages and recommendations for implementing health protocols. The existence of this strategy and also the health protocol is expected by the enthusiastic community to return to enliven the tourism sector, including halal tourism.
