The introduction of devolution saw a great number of staff transferred from the national government to the County government. However, human resource management became a major challenge across all counties as most Counties lacked capacity. As a result there has been job dissatisfaction among employees of the county governments which can be detrimental to performance of both employees and county assembly at large. Hence there was need to implement strategies that can motivate employees in order to enhance their performance so as to get desired results from them. The general objective was to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance of in county assembly of Mandera, Kenya. The specific objectives were to: examine the effect of compensation package on performance of employees in Mandera County; to establish the effect of working environment on performance of employees in Mandera County; to assess the effect of job security on performance of employees in Mandera County; and to assess the effect of employee promotions on performance of employees in Mandera County. The study was informed by the equity theory, goal setting and the expectancy theory. The study adopted descriptive research design. The study population consisted of 150 employees in the County Assembly of Mandera. The population was grouped into departments of employees in the county Assembly. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select the sample. The study grouped the population into stratas, whereby from each stratum the study took a 30% sample. The sample size was 45 respondents. The study collected primary data through use of a questionnaire. The questionnaire had both closed and open-ended questions. The developed questionnaire was checked for its validity and reliability through pilot testing. The quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The quantitative data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics which included frequency distribution tables and measures of central tendency (the mean), measures of variability (standard deviation) and measures of relative frequencies. The inferential statistics included a regression model which established the relationship between variables. Data was presented using tables, charts and graphs. The study findings show that compensation package, working environment, job security and employee promotions have an effect on performance of employees. The study concludes that compensation management can affect job satisfaction and employees organizational commitment, employees’ will improve their performance if the problems identified during the research are tackled by the management and that Work environmental factors that influenced employee performance were physical environment factors, reward, management / leadership style, training and development and work-life balance. This study recommends that management and decision makers should endeavour to review compensation packages at various levels in order to earn employees’ satisfaction, organizations should enhance flexibility of working environment, reduce work noise distraction and enhance supervisor’s interpersonal relationship with subordinates. Organizations should have well recognized job pay package, job security, and reward system for their employees and organizations should be able to recognise employee who have done well at work, device mechanisms to retain and reward an employee for his years of service to the organization.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze leadership style, employee performance and the influence of leadership style on the performance of employees of PT Lintas Mediatama Bandung. This study uses a non probability sampling technique with a type of census. The population in this study were thirty employees of PT Lintas Mediatama Bandung. All population members are used as samples. Data collection methods are divided into primary data and secondary data. primary data collection using observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Secondary data collection uses literature studies and scientific journal references. Test of research instruments such as frequency calculation, validity and reliability test the author uses SPSS version 20. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between leadership style and employee performance. The leadership style has a positive influence on employee performance. Competence is the basis for employees in carrying out work demands that are their responsibility. Employees must continue to improve their competencies so that they can adapt to changes related to their field of work. In this case, the organization must play a role in the development of its human resources, especially related to competencies so that future employee performance will be better. This study aims to determine the positive and significant influence of human resource competencies on employee performance at the Department of Industry and Trade Cooperatives (KOPERINDAG) of Bima City. This type of research is associative. Poulasi in this study were 50 employees with a sample of 30 employees who included ASN. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling (taking samples based on certain considerations). Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires using a Likert scale, the type of data used is quantitative data from primary data sources. Data analysis techniques used are validity, reliability, simple linear regression, simple linear correlation and partial tests (T test). Based on the results of this study concludes that human resource competence does not have a significant effect on employee performance, this is evidenced by the t test value of 0.323 and sig of 0.749.Keywords: Human resource competence, employee performance

This study aims to determine autocratic leadership style, communication and work motivation Against Employee performance at PT. Candi Jaya Amerta. This research includes the type of quantitative research with hypothesis testing. The sample used in this study were 72 employees at PT. Candi Jaya Amerta. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, determinant coefficient (R2), multiple correlation coefficient (R), f test, t test, and classic assumption test using SPSS version 18 for windows. Primary data in this study were obtained from questionnaires whose measurement used a Likert scale that was tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study prove that Autocratic Leadership Style, Communication and Work Motivation Against Employee Performance simultaneously affect employee Performance. communication partially affects employee performance, work motivation partially influences employee performance, job satisfaction also partially affects employee Performance.

Human resource is the heart of every organization because every other resources depend on the human resources for effective utilization. For the human resource to perform its activities effectively, there must be some level of motivation given to the workers. This paper examines motivation as a way of improving workers’ performance in Bayelsa State Polytechnic, Aleibiri. In this work, the meaning of motivation was conceptualized, its impacts on workers’ performance, factors that motivate workers, causes of poor workers performance among others are extensively discussed. To achieve the objective of the paper, primary and secondary data were used. The survey research design method was used to obtain the primary data. That is, questionnaire was designed and administered to the respondents. The simple random sampling technique was adopted to ensure that every member of the population is giving equal chance to be included for the study. Data collected from the field was analyzed witharithmetic. The secondary source of data includes textbooks and journal articles. The result from the findings revealed that non-implementation of staff promotion, inadequate staff training, unconducive working environment among others contribute to low workers’ performance. Furthermore, the study also revealed that, implementation of staff promotion, study leave with full pay, payment of promotion arrears, staff training motivate and enhance worker performance.Arising from the findings, the study recommend that government should implement staff promotion and as well pay all outstanding promotion arrears to workers. Also, staff should be granted study leave with full pay and regular staff training programme should be organized to help workers acquire new skills to enhance their job performance.

This study aims to examine: (1) Influence Supervision of Leadership and Work Discipline on Employee Performance,(2) Supervision of Leadership on Employee Performance (3) Influence of Work Discipline on Employee Performance of Education Office of West Sumatera Province. The type of this research was descriptive associative. The population in this study amounted to 276 people. The sampling technique used was Propotional Random Sampling. Data of this research was primary data with research instrument in the form of questionnaire which have been tested for validity and reliability. Further data analyzed by using multiple regression analysis with SPSS. Based on the results of the study, it was advisable Provincial Education Office of West Sumatra to be better again in improving the performance of employees, especially in terms of commitment in the employee to be more improved so that it can be have an impact on the improving employee performance. It then increases Leadership Supervision in comparing employee job results to predefined standards for feedback on the work they undertake. Employee Discipline to be more improved especially in the case of compliance with work standards that is by taking into account the standards and time set by the Education Office of the Province of West Sumatra for work done in line with organizational goals and can be completed in a timely manner. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture on organizational commitment, the influence of organizational culture on employee job satisfaction, the influence of organizational commitment on employee job satisfaction, the influence of organizational culture on employee performance, the influence of organizational commitment on employee performance, the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance and the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment on employee performance through job satisfaction. The sample in this study were 68 employees of Dinas Peternakan dan Perikanan Kota Sungai Penuh. The sampling technique is census method because the number of employees is only 68 people who fill out the questionnaire. The type of data used is primary data, the data collection method uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Test of research instruments test validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques consist of data description test, classic assumption test, path analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study found that organizational culture influences organizational commitment, organizational culture influences employee job satisfaction, organizational commitment influences employee job satisfaction, organizational culture influences employee performance, organizational commitment influences employee performance, job satisfaction affects employee performance and culture. organization and organizational commitment affect employee performance through job satisfaction. This research suggests that to improve employee performance, a more conducive organizational culture is needed, an increase in organizational commitment and improvement in job satisfaction

This study aims to determine whether the transformational leadership style has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Civil Service Police Unit Office of Bima City. With the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The population used in this study were 228 employees with details of 82 civil servants and 146 contract workers. The sample used in this study amounted to 82 civil servants. The research method used simple linear regression to obtain a good regression value, first tested the validity and reliability test. And the results of this study indicate that the leadership style of the transformation has no effect on the performance of employees at the Civil Service Police Unit Office of Bima City. Based on statistical calculations, Thus it was decided that the hypothesis that says there is a significant influence between transformation leadership style on employee performance at the civil service police unit office in Bima City with Ha rejected and Ho is accepted, which means that the leadership style of the transformation (X), has no significant effect on employee performance (Y).

If an organization or business wants to progress or develop, it must have qualified employees. This study uses quantitative techniques combined with descriptive analysis. Primary and secondary data are offered in this study. Preliminary data were collected in the field. The primary data source is a questionnaire distributed to respondents, while the secondary data source is information on the profile of the Indonesian Public Service. Probability sampling is used in this study. The technique used is the random sampling technique. The sample size for this study was 120 respondents. The test used to analyze the results of this research data is SEM analysis. In the Indonesian Public Service, leadership style, work discipline, and organizational Commitment all have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. In the Indonesian Public Service, leadership style, work discipline, and job satisfaction all have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, but organizational Commitment does not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In the Indonesian Public Service, leadership style, work discipline, and organizational Commitment positively and significantly affect employee performance as measured by job satisfaction.

<p><em>This study aimed to analyze the effect of leadership style and work motivation on employee work productivity of PT. Asiatek</em><em> </em><em>Solusi Indonesia. The population in this study was 230 permanent employees, the number of samples could be taken 30% of the total population so there w</em><em>ere </em><em>69 employees as the total sample. The sampling technique uses the nonprobability sampling method. Methods of collecting primary data in the form of a questionnaire using Likert scale with questionnaire. Testing the validity and reliability using total Pearson product moment test and Cronbach Alpha. The method of analysis to answer the hypothesis using multiple linear regression with SPSS 22 version. The results showed that the leadership style and work motivation variables were significantly positive effect on the work productivity of employees of PT. Asiatek</em><em> </em><em>Solusi Indonesia amounted by 0,608 and 0,157. Variable of leadership style and work motivation simultaneously have a significant positive effect on productivity of employees PT.</em><em> </em><em>Asiatek</em><em> </em><em>Solusi Indonesia.</em></p>

<p><em>T</em><em>he purpose of this study serve to determine the effect of leadership style,</em><em> </em><em>organizational culture, and employees’ competence on performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable (case study at the Islamic Hospital in Klaten). This study is a descriptive empirical study with a quantitative approach. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. The population in this study is the nurse-patient unit Klaten Islamic Hospital number</em><em> </em><em>194 and number 131 samples were taken more than 1 year. Nonprobability sampling technique using sampling with purposive sampling method and then diproporsionalkan. Instrument research using questionnaires. Data analysis includes test instrument, the classical assumption test, and test hypotheses with linear regression as a tool of analysis using SPSS 17. Based on the discussion of the results of this study be concluded that the employees’ competency effect on the employee performance, while the leadership style and organizational culture had no effect improves employee performance. After attending the variables of organizational commitment as a mediating variable that affects only one variable, namely the competence of employees, while others may not affect performance significantly with or without a mediating variable.</em><em></em></p>
