The situation of the increasingly massive spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia has forced several countries to issue travel restrictions for their citizens entering Indonesia, as well as prohibiting Indonesian citizens from visiting their country. Health promotion is needed that can raise the awareness of Indonesian citizens to adhere to health protocols. This community service activity seeks to increase public awareness by sharing experiences from survivor and nurses of Covid-19 patients at community health services (CHS) and in field hospitals. Health promotion through webinars, which are open publicly and for free, took place on September 29, 2020. Webinars through the Zoom application and broadcast live streaming on Youtube media with the channel name "baca baca baca". The two media were chosen with the intention of making health education activities accessible to many people at any time so that the achievement of the goals could also be broader. The number of participants in Zoom media when conducting the webinar according to the previous plan is at least 50 people (54 people). The number of viewers via Youtube media exceeds the planned output of more than 100 viewers (326 people) in three months. Awareness improvement of the general public in complying with health protocols in preventing Covid-19 transmission is built through a good perception of this. Good perceptions are built through correct knowledge. The webinar method has also proven not to be an obstacle to providing health promotion to the public.

ABSTRAKCovid-19 merupakan penyakit yang penyebabnya adalah virus corona yang menyerang sistem pernapasan. Pemerintah sudah menghimbau masyarakatnya dengan memberikan protokol kesehatan untuk menghindari penularan wabah COVID-19, untuk dapat menerapkannya dibutuhkan kesadaran masyarakat. Salah satu hal yang bisa dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan tentang Pencegahan COVID-19 berbasis Keluarga dengan Menerapkan 5M. Tujuan Pengabdian adalah untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Masyarakat RT 22 Kelurahan Pahlawan Palembang tentang Pencegahan COVID-19 berbasis Keluarga dengan Menerapkan 5M dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah berbentuk pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode ceramah dan demontrasi. Kesimpulan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat berbasis keluarga di RT 22 kelurahan Pahlawan Palembang dalam menerapkan protokol Kesehatan 5M. Disarankan bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat mengimplementasikan dan memberikan informasi terbaru tentang pencegahan virus Covid 19 selain penerapan 5M pada masyarakat yang lebih luas. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan Kesadaran Masyarakat, Menerapkan 5M, Pencegahan        Covid 19 ABSTRACTCovid-19 is a disease caused by a coronavirus that attacks the respiratory system. The government has appealed to the public by providing health protocols to avoid the transmission of the COVID-19 outbreak, to be able to implement it, public awareness is needed. One of the things that can be done to increase public awareness is to provide counseling about Family-based COVID-19 Prevention by Implementing 5M. The purpose of this service is to increase public awareness of RT 22 Pahlawan Palembang Village regarding Family-based COVID-19 Prevention by Implementing 5M can be carried out properly. The method used in community service activities is in the form of health education with lecture and demonstration methods. The conclusion is that there is an increase in family-based community awareness in RT 22, Pahlawan Palembang village in implementing the 5M Health protocol. Information that is not true or commonly called a "hoax" about the Covid-19 vaccine circulating in the community makes people restless and confused, and if this is not addressed immediately, more and more people refuse to be vaccinated. Health cadres have a role in educating the public about Covid-19 vaccination, but in reality their activities have been inactive during the pandemic. The ability to conduct health education by utilizing technology is still lacking, so it is necessary to provide training on how to conduct health education to cadres. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and readiness of health cadres in an effort to increase knowledge and readiness of the community to receive the Covid-19 vaccination through the ASIVa (Aku Siap Vaksin) program. The method used in this community service activity is a participative educational approach, namely providing health education to cadres about the Covid-19 vaccine and training on how to use technology for health promotion. This activity was carried out for one month and was attended by ten health cadres. The results of community service show that the knowledge of the cadres is very good, skilled and interactive in carrying out health education.

Health is a healthy state, both physically, mentally, spiritually and socially that allows everyone to live productively socially and economically. Health development as one of the national developments designed for the achievement of awareness, willingness and ability to live healthy for every population to realize an optimal degree of public health. Self-medication is an attempt by someone to overcome a problem of illness or disease without prior agreement with a doctor or health worker. More than 60% of members of the public swarmed the legal basis Permenkes No.919 / MENKES / PER / X / 1993. Swamedication was more focused on handling quickly and effectively without prior intervention by medical consultants, pharmacists, to reduce the workload on the limited resources and labor. The target audience for this community service activity is 30 health cadres obtained through collaboration with the state visited by the health cadres to provide information and understanding to other community members in their neighborhoods. From this dedication activity obtained 1) Increased knowledge and understanding of health cadres about self-medication 2) Increased knowledge and understanding of health cadres about managing drugs in the household.

Abstract   Exploitation of natural resources through unlicensed gold mining (PETI) is not in accordance with mining operational standards occurring along the Noeltoko River, West Miomaffo Subdistrict, Timor Tengah Utara Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province resulting in damage and environmental degradation. Changes and environmental damage include the formation of dug holes around the river flow, turbidity of water, changes in river flow. Other problems that arise are conflicts between these PETI workers and with other communities. This community service activity aims to provide an understanding to the community about the importance of maintaining and caring for rivers from excavation in the river walls that can cause debris / landslides explaining the impact of the use of hazardous materials such as mercury / mercury and cyanide, socialization of regulations regarding the formation of People's Mining Areas (WPR) ), introducing "sluice box" equipment to help the process of separating gold sand from sand. This activity was supported by the UPT ESDM Atambua Branch and was followed by 40 people who used to mine on the Noeltoko river. Perubahan dan kerusakan lingkungan tersebut diantaranya terbentuk lubang-lubang galian di sekitar aliran sungai, kekeruhan air, berubahnya aliran sungai.. Permasalahan lain yang timbul adalah konflik antar pekerja PETI ini maupun dengan masyarakat lain. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga dan merawat sungai dari penggalian di dinding sungai yang dapat mengakibatkan runtuhan/longsoran menjelaskan dampak penggunaan bahan berbahaya seperti air raksa/merkuri dan sianida, sosialisasi peraturan tentang pembentukan Wilayah Pertambangan Rakyat (WPR), mengenalkan peralatan “sluice box” untuk membantu proses pemisahan buiran emas dari pasir.Kegiatan ini didukung oleh pihak UPT ESDM Cabang Atambua dan dikuti oleh 40 orang masyarakat yang biasa menambang di sungai Noeltoko. Diharapkan dengan adanya pembinaan dan pendampingan dapat menimbulkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk dapat menambang namun tetap menjaga kelestarian lingkungan   Kata kunci: PETI, Noeltoko, WPR, sluicebox

This community service activity (PKM) is carried out to provide information on the situation experienced by the community regarding changes in extension activities that are usually carried out directly. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, outreach activities on the implementation of civic defense were carried out in online form. This online outreach was carried out using the Zoom Meeting application platform for 180 minutes. This counseling provided an explanation of the implementation of civic defense for the general public. The civic defense material presented was the meaning, values and goals of civic defense. In general, it can be concluded that the online outreach activity for the implementation of civic defense to the Rempoa Village provides an understanding that any Indonesian citizen can play an active role in realizing the values of civic defense in their daily life. The number of Covid 19 cases is increasing and cannot be ignored considering the increase every day continues to increase. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on various fields, especially the economy. To avoid the increasing number of sufferers, the government limits activities that cause crowds, maintains distance and maintains hygenicity in the community in carrying out daily activities known as health protocol regulations. The behavior and actions of the community must change completely from the usual actions that are often carried out, for that it is necessary to have socialization on how to prevent the transmission of Covid 19 by implementing the health protocol that has been advised by the government. The purpose of this community service activity is to remind and help public understanding of the implementation of health protocols during the Covid 19 pandemic. The form of activities is in the form of counseling, giving hand sanitizers and masks. Lack of public awareness and knowledge about Covid-19 can be overcome by providing knowledge, through socialization about the importance of implementing this activity protocol in order to help people face New normal conditions, by helping people live by complying with health protocols. The results of the activity obtained the enthusiasm of the residents in following the activity until the end with the many questions asked. Suggestions for the Lebak Bandung Village to hold outreach activities about the prevention of Covid 19 in their environment because there are still many residents who do not understand about prevention which is only done

Public speaking skills for church community is very important in facing the new challenges in the digital age. Faculty of Social and Political Science Universitas Kristen Indonesia organized community service activity in the form of public speaking workshop to HKBP Karawang community member on Friday, 23 April 2021. The public speaking was conducted by the presentation and the simulation. After the training was completed, the participant filled the project satisfaction survey. The survey was analyzed using SPSS. One of the most important issues for controlling the spread of invasive species is public awareness (Dehnen-Schmutz et al. 2018). Passively, the public are responsible for the spread of invasive species, for example by moving dirty boats from one water body to another. But they also actively spread invasive species by releasing them in the wild. The spread of some invasive species could be slowed or even halted if the general public were more aware of the risks. Furthermore, this is a global issue, not restricted to one country or language, and hence needs to be tackled at an international level. The Convention on Biological Diversity has a specific target to identify pathways of introduction and manage invasive species (Convention on Biological Diversity 2014). As part of this awareness-raising, the public needs information on how to identify invasive species, as well as how to know their regulatory status, distribution and transmission. They also need to be aware of how invasive species impact biodiversity, ecosystem services and health. This information needs to be up-to-date, reliable and unbiased, but also supported by evidence. Many information platforms exist on invasive species and new information is being generated all the time on this dynamic issue. However, pre-eminent among information sources on the internet is Wikipedia. Consistently ranked in the top ten of most visited websites, with more than 15 billion page views a month across 300 language editions, it is the go-to website on many subjects (Wikimedia 2019). Invasive species such as the zebra mussel and water hyacinth receive over 500 daily page views, just on the English edition alone. Wikipedia is arguably one of the largest citizen science projects, containing information on every area of science and connecting, through its citations, scientific literature with the general public. Wikipedia has been criticized about many aspects of its content and editorship, including its quality and neutrality (Kumar et al. 2016, Wagner et al. 2016, Hargittai and Shaw 2014). Nevertheless, its dominance in the provision of information cannot be ignored and addressing Wikipedia's problems by direct engagement might be more productive than ignoring it. Increasingly, different disciplines are engaging with Wikipedia for communication, recognizing that it can be a productive communication channel (Murray 2018). Invasive species are a global problem and tackling them is a global issue. We have been investigating the current status of invasive species information on Wikipedia, whether it contains relevant information on impacts and control, and whether the information is consistent across different language versions. We will present what we have found and make recommendations on what to improve and how we can engage with Wikipedia.

Community service, is the mandate from the Ministry of Education and Culture, to close the distance between the world of education and the daily life of the community, this activity is a manifestation of the implementation of Community Service activities based on the scientific expertise of Architecture. The implementation of this community service activity is in the form of an introduction aimed at various groups in urban communities, conveyed online through Instagram social media. The purpose of this outreach implementation activity is to provide knowledge to the public about the importance of the values ​​of the imaginary axis of the heritage area as the city identity. The implementation of this counseling is related to the material and learning process in the KOKA (Kuliah dan Observasi Kajian Arsitektur) course which has been routinely programmed in each lecture process. On this occasion, which was still in a pandemic condition, the exposure of counseling materials related to the KOKA learning process was transferred in the form of online material exposure through Instagram online social media. As an embodiment, on this occasion the material preparation was carried out based on the direction of the Lecturer Team by involving the student team to produce the online poster. With the implementation of online, the exposure material will continue to be conveyed to the target community automatically since the material is broadcast.

ABSTRAKPermasalahan dari mitra pengabdi kami adalah a. bagaimana mahasiswa binaan mitra khususnya mahasiswa pembudidayaan bisa mengembangkan kultur tanaman budaya Indonesia dikenal masyarakat umum khususnya negara lain, bahwa jenis anggrek di Indonesia memiliki keunikan anggrek yang berbeda dengan negara lain. b. anggrek juga memiliki perawatan yang ekstra sehingga di perlukan media tanam anggrek supaya tidak merawatnya ekstra dan bisa dikmati penyuka tanaman bunga. Dari permasalahan mitra tersebut tim pengabdi menggunakan metode pengabdian masyarakat yakni melakukan pemaparan materi dan pelatihan teknologi hidroponik sebagai media tanaman anggrek dan memberikan pengalaman serta pengetahuan kepada mitra pengabdi bahwa anggrek bisa menjadi nilai ekonomis. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yakni mitra memperoleh banyak informasi mengenai jenis anggrek dan dapat menyimpulkan sendiri bahwa perlunya jenis anggrek di budidayakan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yakni 1. Memanfaatkan teknologi hidroponik sebagai media tanam anggrek sangatlah diperlukan guna membudidayakan jenis anggrek tertentu agar tidak mengalami kepunahan. 2. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mitra dalam hal ini para mahasiswa memperoleh masukan dan ide kreatif dalam meningkatakan nilai ekonomis daerah pada masing-masing tempat tinggalnya di wilayah asal mahasiswa. 3. Memberikan pemahaman baru bahwa biasanya anggrek tidak dapat digunakan untuk tanaman hidroponik ternyata sudah bisa digunakan dengan persyaratan tertentu. Kata Kunci : hidroponik; anggrek; teknologi. ABSTRACTThe problems of our service partners are a. how partner-assisted students, especially cultivating students, can develop Indonesian cultural plant culture known to the general public, especially other countries, that the type of orchid in Indonesia has a unique orchid that is different from other countries. b. orchids also have extra care so that the orchid growing media is needed so as not to care for them extra and can be loved by those who like flowers. From the problems of the partners, the service team used community service methods, namely the presentation of materials and training in hydroponic technology as a medium for orchid plants and provided experience and knowledge to service partners that orchids could be of economic value. As a result of community service activities, partners get a lot of information about the types of orchids and can conclude for themselves that the need for orchids is cultivated. Conclusions from community service activities namely 1. Utilizing hydroponic technology as an orchid growing media is needed to cultivate certain types of orchids so they do not experience extinction. 2. In this community service activity partners in this case the students get creative input and ideas in increasing the economic value of the area in each place of residence in the student's home region. 3. Gives a new understanding that normally orchids cannot be used for hydroponic plants but can already be used with certain requirements. Keywords: hydroponics; orchid; technology.
