Public speaking skills for church community is very important in facing the new challenges in the digital age. Faculty of Social and Political Science Universitas Kristen Indonesia organized community service activity in the form of public speaking workshop to HKBP Karawang community member on Friday, 23 April 2021. The public speaking was conducted by the presentation and the simulation. After the training was completed, the participant filled the project satisfaction survey. The survey was analyzed using SPSS. The result showed that the participants were satisfied with the training and were recommended to be followed by subsequent training. Keywords: public speaking training, HKBP Karawang, Fisipol UKI

Health is a healthy state, both physically, mentally, spiritually and socially that allows everyone to live productively socially and economically. Health development as one of the national developments designed for the achievement of awareness, willingness and ability to live healthy for every population to realize an optimal degree of public health. Self-medication is an attempt by someone to overcome a problem of illness or disease without prior agreement with a doctor or health worker. More than 60% of members of the public swarmed the legal basis Permenkes No.919 / MENKES / PER / X / 1993. Swamedication was more focused on handling quickly and effectively without prior intervention by medical consultants, pharmacists, to reduce the workload on the limited resources and labor. The target audience for this community service activity is 30 health cadres obtained through collaboration with the state visited by the health cadres to provide information and understanding to other community members in their neighborhoods. From this dedication activity obtained 1) Increased knowledge and understanding of health cadres about self-medication 2) Increased knowledge and understanding of health cadres about managing drugs in the household.

The activity of speaking or known as public speaking is a scary thing for students. Although they are often asked to practice presentations in front of the class, the technique of delivering public speaking is often not paid attention to. There are several techniques that should be mastered in public speaking so that the delivery can be conveyed well to the audience. This time, the implementation of PKM aims to provide knowledge about public speaking skills, improve speaking skills, mentally prepare students to speak in front of crowds, and equip students to enter lectures or work.  The method presented in this activity is lecture and practice.with 20 students from SMK Bina Nusa Slawi. Students are also provided with modules to make it easier when delivering and students can also repeat the material at home. Students are also given directions regarding the correct way of presentation in Indonesian and English in accordance with the rules of public speaking. In addition to theory and practice in the classroom. Students are also directed to observe several public speaking figures through Youtube channel. In general, community service activity at SMK Bina Nusa Slawi are going well. Students' enthusiasm is extraordinary, as evidenced by the fact that 80 percent of students believe that having public speaking skills and increasing self-confidence are important. Students feel helped by this activity because they gain knowledge about public speaking and presentation techniques that can be used to support presentations in class or as a provision for later in the world of work.

Community service, is the mandate from the Ministry of Education and Culture, to close the distance between the world of education and the daily life of the community, this activity is a manifestation of the implementation of Community Service activities based on the scientific expertise of Architecture. The implementation of this community service activity is in the form of an introduction aimed at various groups in urban communities, conveyed online through Instagram social media. The purpose of this outreach implementation activity is to provide knowledge to the public about the importance of the values ​​of the imaginary axis of the heritage area as the city identity. The implementation of this counseling is related to the material and learning process in the KOKA (Kuliah dan Observasi Kajian Arsitektur) course which has been routinely programmed in each lecture process. On this occasion, which was still in a pandemic condition, the exposure of counseling materials related to the KOKA learning process was transferred in the form of online material exposure through Instagram online social media. As an embodiment, on this occasion the material preparation was carried out based on the direction of the Lecturer Team by involving the student team to produce the online poster. With the implementation of online, the exposure material will continue to be conveyed to the target community automatically since the material is broadcast.

Community Service Activities have been carried out in Kelapa Lima Village. This activity aims to provide information and knowledge to the public about the dangers of dengue hemorrhagic fever and its preventive measures through the use of potential mosquito repellent plants. Mosquito repellent plants can be found in the yard of the house so that the community can provide land in the yard of their house to plant these plants that have the potential to act as mosquito repellent. The method used in this service activity is in the form of counseling, training, and cultivating plants as an anti-mosquito agent that causes dengue hemorrhagic fever. The conclusion obtained is an increase in the knowledge of the public's understanding of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, an increase in public understanding of the bio-ecology of the vector that causes dengue hemorrhagic fever, utilizing plants that have the potential to act as mosquito repellents.

ABSTRAKVirus covid 19 merupakan kumpulan virus yang menyebabkan infeksi sistem saluran pernapasan. penyebaran virus covid 19 ini semakin meningkat setiap harinya, Melihat penomena yang terjadi di masyarakat  maka dirasa sangat perlu dilakukannya kegiatan Sosialisasi dan pembagian masker gratis untuk memutus rantai penyebaran virus covid 19. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan kesadaran kepada warga masyarakat tentang perlunya sosialisasi physical distancing dan penggunaan masker untuk mencegah penyebarab virus covid-19 yang sudah meresahkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan cara sosialisasi dari rumah ke rumah kemudian membagikan masker gratis kepada warga yang ada di RT 02/RW.04. dengan dilaksanakannya pengabdian tersebut maka warga masyarakat di RT.02/RW.04 merasa lebih paham setelah dilakukannya sosialisasi dan merasa terbantu dengan pembagian masker gratis. Selain itu, hasil yang Diharapkan masyarakat lebih sadar akan pentingnya kesehatan dengan selau menerapkan phsicial distancing dan selalu menggunakan masker ketika berpergian serta menggunakan handsanitaizer ketika sudah melaksanakan kontak dengan warga masyarakat lainnya, sebagai salah satu proteksi atau perlindungan diri dari virus covid 19. Kata kunci: sosialisasi; Virus covid 19; preventif; masker. ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 virus is a group of viruses that cause infections of the respiratory system. the spread of the covid 19 virus is increasing every day, Seeing the phenomena that occur in the community, it is felt that it is very necessary to carry out socialization activities and the distribution of free masks to break the chain of spread of the covid 19 virus. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge, understanding and awareness to the community. community members about the need for social distancing and the use of masks to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus which is already troubling. The method used in this activity is by socializing from house to house and then distributing free masks to residents in RT 02/RW.04. With the implementation of this service, the community members in RT.02/RW.04 feel more understanding after the socialization and feel helped by the distribution of free masks. In addition, the expected result is that the public is more aware of the importance of health by always implementing physical distancing and always using a mask when traveling and using a hand sanitizer when in contact with other members of the community, as one of the protections or self-protection from the covid 19 virus. Keywords: socialization; covid 19 virus; prevention; masks.

Perilaku mencuci tangan belum menjadi budaya dalam masyarakat, Salah satu penyebab kondisi ini adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang hal tersebut, terutama pada anak sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Tim Kesehatan Masyarakat UIN Syarif Hidayatullah bertujuan untuk meningatkan pengetahuan tentang CTPS sebagai salah satu upaya untuk mencegah kejadian diare. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan kepada siswa di SDN 02 Rempoa, Tangerang Selatan dalam bentuk edukasi dan praktik cuci tangan. Hasil pre dan post-test menunjukkan adanya kenaikan rata-rata pengetahuan dari 59 menjadi 78.25 poin. Peningkatan pengetahuan ini dapat berdampak pada peningkatan praktik CTPS yang lebih baik. Selain itu para siswa diharapkan dapat menjadi agen perubahan pada lingkungannya serta menjadikan CTPS sebagai budaya yang merupakan bagian dari kehidupan seharihari. Dengan denikian secara tidak langsung juga akan menurunkan risiko penyakit menular terutama diare.---Hand washing behavior has not yet a culture in the society. This condition is caused by the lack of knowledge about the issue, especially among school children. Community service activity undertaken by the Public Health team of UIN SyarifHidayatullah aimed to increase the knowledge about WHWS as an effort to prevent the occurrence of diarrhea. This activity was carried out for elementary students at SDN 02 Rempoa, South Tangerang by performing educational session and practice of hand washing. The result of pre and post-test showed an improvement of average knowledge, from 59 to 78.25 points. The increasing of knowledge might have an impact to better WHWS practices. In addition, the students are expected to be the agents of change in their environment and make WHWS a culture in the daily life. Thus, it also will indirectly reduce the risk of infectious diseases, especially diarrhea.

The need for electrical energy is a basic requirement besides the need for food and clothing, electrical energy is absolutely needed by the community to support all their daily activities. The purpose of carrying out community service activities is to provide an alternative source of electrical energy by utilizing solar cell panels which can be felt by the public in the form of DC voltage and AC voltage through an inverter device. The method applied in this service activity is to set a plan in the form of a system work diagram and then carry out the service activities in accordance with the work plan that was made previously. The results obtained are the availability of lighting facilities and electrical energy to start the pump so that it can meet the lighting needs and water needs of the orphanage.

One aspect that has changed due to the Covid-19 pandemic is the way humans communicate in public (public speaking). This impact was also felt by women who were members of the Fatayat NU (Nahdlatul Ulama) Ciledug organization. Fatayat NU is an Islamic women's organization which is one of the autonomous institutions within NU, which is religious, social and familial. The concept of Fatayat NU activities can be classified into three, namely in the field of regeneration and education, the field of da'wah or Islamic development, and the field of social society. The problems faced by Fatayat NU Ciledug, relating to public speaking are: (1) Lack of ability to appear and speak in public; and (2) Lack of public speaking skills, both face-to-face and online. The solutions offered to solve these problems are through community service activities, namely providing online training/workshops by utilizing the Zoom Meeting application to members of Fatayat NU Ciledug to provide tips and tricks regarding: (1) How to have the ability to appear and speak in public; and (2) Skills in public speaking both face-to-face and online. The implementation of this community service activity consists of 3 stages, namely; (1) The preparation stage, to identify problems, apply for permits to the Fatayat NU Ciledug management, and make preparations for the implementation of public speaking training; (2) the stage of implementing public speaking training; and (3) the evaluation stage, by providing evaluation test questions that must be done using Google Forms media, to find out how much the increase in knowledge, abilities, and skills of Fatayat NU Ciledug women regarding public speaking after participating in training activities.

Abstract.  One impact of the development of information technology is the use of websites as a medium to facilitate the dissemination of information. One type of website that is widely used by government agencies, education, industry and public organizations is a website profile. Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kota Tarakan is one of the public organizations engaged in humanity in Tarakan City. Current conditions, PMI Kota Tarakan does not yet have a media information in the form of a website that can be used to disseminate various information related to PMI Kota Tarakan activities to the public, so a process of developing a profile website for the PMI Kota Tarakan is needed. The main objective of this community service activity is to produce a PMI Kota Tarakan Profile Website to support the PMI Kota Tarakan. Website development process is done by using PHP (PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) as a scripting language and MySQL as a database server. The final result of community service activities in terms of developing this website is a website that is able to provide convenience for the PMI Kota Tarakan in terms of providing information to the public, specifically related to the activities carried out by the PMI Kota Tarakan.Keywords: information, PMI, Tarakan, websiteAbstrak.  Salah satu dampak dari berkembangnya teknologi informasi adalah pemanfaatan website sebagai salah satu media untuk memudahkan dalam menyebarkan sebuah informasi. Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kota Tarakan merupakan salah satu organisasi publik yang bergerak dibidang kemanusiaan yang ada di Kota Tarakan. Kondisi yang ada saat ini, PMI Kota Tarakan belum memiliki media informasi berupa website yang dapat digunakan untuk menyebarkan berbagai informasi terkait dengan kegiatan PMI Kota Tarakan kepada masyarakat, sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah proses pengembangan terhadap website profile bagi PMI Kota Tarakan. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah menghasilkan sebuah Website Profile PMI Kota Tarakan untuk mendukung PMI Kota Tarakan. Proses pengembangan website dilakukan dengan menggunakan PHP (PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) sebagai bahasa scripting dan MySQL sebagai database server. The problem of partners in community service activities is the lack of knowledge of the community of Rumbai Bukit Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City regarding the settlement of disputes over land sale and purchase based on the Civil Code. The solution offered in this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of the community of Rumbai Bukit Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City regarding the settlement of land purchase disputes based on the Civil Code. The implementation method used in community service activities is to use lecture, dialogue and discussion methods in order to provide legal counseling to the public. Partner participation in community service activities is to provide time, provide a place and supporting facilities, and present the community as participants of the activity. The output target of this community service is scientific articles that have been submitted and will be published in non-accredited national journals. The conclusion is that this activity has been successfully implemented and the benefits can be felt directly by the participants. This can be seen from the answers of the participants in the questionnaire given after the activity was carried out. After the activity was carried out, 88% of the participants answered that they knew the material presented. His suggestion is that the activities with this theme should be carried out not only to the people of Rumbai Bukit Village, but also to other urban communities in the Rumbai District of Pekanbaru City.
