ABSTRAKPermasalahan dari mitra pengabdi kami adalah a. bagaimana mahasiswa binaan mitra khususnya mahasiswa pembudidayaan bisa mengembangkan kultur tanaman budaya Indonesia dikenal masyarakat umum khususnya negara lain, bahwa jenis anggrek di Indonesia memiliki keunikan anggrek yang berbeda dengan negara lain. b. anggrek juga memiliki perawatan yang ekstra sehingga di perlukan media tanam anggrek supaya tidak merawatnya ekstra dan bisa dikmati penyuka tanaman bunga. Dari permasalahan mitra tersebut tim pengabdi menggunakan metode pengabdian masyarakat yakni melakukan pemaparan materi dan pelatihan teknologi hidroponik sebagai media tanaman anggrek dan memberikan pengalaman serta pengetahuan kepada mitra pengabdi bahwa anggrek bisa menjadi nilai ekonomis. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yakni mitra memperoleh banyak informasi mengenai jenis anggrek dan dapat menyimpulkan sendiri bahwa perlunya jenis anggrek di budidayakan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yakni 1. Memanfaatkan teknologi hidroponik sebagai media tanam anggrek sangatlah diperlukan guna membudidayakan jenis anggrek tertentu agar tidak mengalami kepunahan. 2. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mitra dalam hal ini para mahasiswa memperoleh masukan dan ide kreatif dalam meningkatakan nilai ekonomis daerah pada masing-masing tempat tinggalnya di wilayah asal mahasiswa. 3. Memberikan pemahaman baru bahwa biasanya anggrek tidak dapat digunakan untuk tanaman hidroponik ternyata sudah bisa digunakan dengan persyaratan tertentu. Kata Kunci : hidroponik; anggrek; teknologi. ABSTRACTThe problems of our service partners are a. how partner-assisted students, especially cultivating students, can develop Indonesian cultural plant culture known to the general public, especially other countries, that the type of orchid in Indonesia has a unique orchid that is different from other countries. b. orchids also have extra care so that the orchid growing media is needed so as not to care for them extra and can be loved by those who like flowers. From the problems of the partners, the service team used community service methods, namely the presentation of materials and training in hydroponic technology as a medium for orchid plants and provided experience and knowledge to service partners that orchids could be of economic value. As a result of community service activities, partners get a lot of information about the types of orchids and can conclude for themselves that the need for orchids is cultivated. Conclusions from community service activities namely 1. Utilizing hydroponic technology as an orchid growing media is needed to cultivate certain types of orchids so they do not experience extinction. 2. In this community service activity partners in this case the students get creative input and ideas in increasing the economic value of the area in each place of residence in the student's home region. 3. Gives a new understanding that normally orchids cannot be used for hydroponic plants but can already be used with certain requirements. Keywords: hydroponics; orchid; technology.

Jamu (herbal medicine) is included in traditional health drinks that its processing is often less hygienic. The purpose of this community service program is to improve the cleanliness of the herbal medicine-making process in the herbal medicine group in Malang through the provision of hygienic herbal medicine processing machines. Community service activities were carried out in 2018 by involving herbal medicine groups in Tegalgondo and Jetis Villages, Malang. The community service activities included analyzing the conditions and needs of partners, designing herbal medicine machines as needed, as well as assisting the use of machines. The implementation methods in this service program were discussion and training. The result of this service activity was an increase in partner knowledge regarding the importance of hygiene and the use of appropriate technology in herbal medicine processing. After the training was carried out, service partners began to be moved to process jamu more hygienically. Furthermore, assistance and technology-based marketing training activities also need to be carried out.

ST. Kertha Budi Luhur is the youth organization of the Kayumas Kelod traditional banjar which was founded around 1995. One of the social activities of the Sekaa Teruna is to focus on environmental and waste issues. Related to the issue of waste ST. Kertha Budi Luhur plans to establish a waste bank. The waste bank is an alternative solution that can be done by the community in terms of waste management or management. Waste banks can increase public participation to care more about the waste they produce daily, besides that, with the existence of waste banks, the community can get economic value feedback. Therefore, in this community service, socialization and training were carried out on how to form a waste bank. This community service activity is broadly divided into initial socialization activities aimed at providing initial information about waste banks and technical training activities aimed at providing a more detailed explanation of the waste bank operations, from sorting waste to working with garbage collectors. Increased awareness of waste management by 85% of ST members Kertha Budi Luhur after the training.

Tobacco is one of the important agricultural commodities in Bucor Wetan Village, Pakuniran District, Probolinggo Regency. However, tobacco stems (nicotiana tobacum) are often considered as agricultural waste, since a lack of effective treatment is given to them. This community service activity is to utilize tobacco stem waste to be useful by making it a biopesticide to treat pests and diseases in plants. To achieve these goals, this program is by counseling and training to farmer groups on how to make biopesticides from tobacco stems. The results of this activity were: a) the participants’ enthusiasm is more considerable, especially the Farmer Group, to involve with the training, and b) their knowledge of using tobacco stems is more increased, since they have highly today’s economic value.

The readiness of grade IX students of SMP in facing the national exam is still not optimal. It can be seen from the obstacles encountered by the students related to the amount of material being studied and the limited time available at school. Furthermore, the students are also still unfamiliar with the UN questions tested due to the lack of practice in discussing UN questions. This problem can be overcomed by providing training to students on the use of reading strategies to be applied in answering English UN questions. The subjects of this service program are grade IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Solok City who will take the national exam. The use of reading strategies is an approach to understand English texts that can be used in solving English UN questions. The method of implementing this service program is carried out through several stages, namely (1) giving try out to assess students' ability to answer UN questions, (2) giving guidance and training in using reading strategies in answering UN questions, and (3) giving final try out as evaluation of the implementation of community service activities. The results of this community service activity showed that students have broad insights on strategies to solve English National Examination questions. Students also become more enthusiastic and active in answering English UN questions. Besides that, students also get information that is very useful in preparing themselves as early as possible to face the national exam. Given the large benefits of community service activities, it is necessary to provide intensive and structured training for grade IX students of SMP on tips and tricks for answering English UN questions easily.

ABSTRAK    Pemerintah kecamatan Wajak, kabupaten Malang, telah mengukuhkan mendong sebagai komoditas khas daerahnya. Desa Blayu merupakan daerah terbesar penghasil mendong beserta produk turunannya. Sayangnya saat ini budidaya mendong semakin memudar dan ikon mendong sulit ditemukan di desa Blayu. Jumlah profesi masyarakat yang terkait dengan budidaya dan kerajinan mendong terus mengalami penurunan. Potensi mendong yang tidak menjanjikan kesejahteraan ditengarai sebagai alasan profesi ini mulai ditinggalkan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah menambah nilai ekonomis mendong dan membangkitkan kembali kepercayaan diri masyarakat Blayu akan potensi mendong dengan cara mengenalkan diversifikasi kerajinan kriya mendong dan peluang pasarnya. Metode yang dilakukan adalah identifikasi masalah, perumusan solusi, pendidikan masyarakat, difusi inovasi dan pelatihan. Manfaat dari kegiatan ini adalah mulai bangkitnya jiwa kewirausahaan masyarakat Blayu dan sikap optimistik terhadap potensi  usaha kreatif produk kriya mendong. Kata kunci : kriya mendong, diversifikasi produk, wirausaha ABSTRACT The government of Wajak sub-district, Malang regency, has established mendong as a unique commodity in its area. Blayu Village is the largest producer of mendong and its derivatives. Unfortunately at this time the cultivation of mendong is increasingly fading and icons of mendong are hard to find in Blayu village. The number of community professions related to the cultivation and crafts of mendong continues to decline. Potential mendong who do not promise prosperity is suspected as a reason this profession began to be abandoned. The purpose of this community service activity is to add economic value to the mendong and to revive the confidence of the Blayu community in the potential of the mendong by introducing the diversification of handmade crafts to the mendong and its market opportunities. The method used are problem identification, solution formulation, community education, diffusion of innovation and training. The benefit of this activity are the resurgence of the entrepreneurial spirit of the Blayu community and an optimistic attitude towards the potential for creative efforts in mendong craft products.

Batik Masaran Sragen regency is a batik industrial center that has great potential and has distinctive characteristics and is rich in both contemporary and modern motifs. However, from the potential of batik still has constraints and obstacles that are still found the low understanding of the importance of IPR protection both on copyright and brand rights, another constraint is the limited marketing is still using conventional models that do not have online media to reach the audience which is wider. The purpose of this community service activity is to conduct counseling and training on copyright and brand rights, as well as website creation training. The method used is through training, mentoring to partners and monitoring although community service activities have been completed to maintain the sustainability of the program. Plastic waste is a type of inorganic waste that is difficult to decompose in soil and water. Plastic waste is usually only piled up and disposed of, causing various kinds of negative impacts. One of the efforts to tackle plastic waste in Bontang City is to create a tool that can convert plastic waste into fuel oil. The purpose of this community service is to provide an understanding to the community (students) regarding the dangers of plastic waste to the environment and to provide knowledge to the public about how to process plastic waste into fuel oil using practical and inexpensive pyrolysis technology. The method of implementing this community service activity is in the form of counseling and training. The results of this community service received a very good response from students and teachers. This response can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants when carrying out the practice of processing plastic waste into fuel oil. The conclusion of this community service has a very positive impact on the processing of plastic waste into fuel oil and changes the habits of the Bontang people, which initially only disposed of plastic waste, then utilized it so that it had economic value.

This activity is motivated by the products of the Gadingkulon villagers who have low bargaining power, their lack of ability in packaging and selling products is also an obstacle. Besides, many business actors have not pocketed and are not sufficiently knowledgeable about halal certification from MUI for the products they produce, so they will find it difficult to market their products to souvenir centers, supermarkets, and other markets. Guaranteed halal products through halal product certificates will provide comfort, safety, safety, and certainty of the availability of halal products for people in consuming and using halal products and can increase added value for business actors to produce and sell halal products. Therefore, they need to be equipped with knowledge and training on halal certification steaming. This service activity consists of 4 stages, namely preparation, meeting, training, and monitoring and evaluation. The community service activities carried out in Gading Kulon Village, Dau District, Malang Regency are going well. The result of community service activities is that people who have joint products with the Halal Center of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang help meet and identify all the requirements needed and will then be bridged by the Halal Center of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang until the issuance of halal certificates.

The implementation of this service is expected to improve the understanding and skills of Alumni Ilmu Perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Lancang Kuning on how to manage Web-based electronic archives. The output produced in accordance with this activity plan is in the form of scientific articles. The method of implementing the activity is counseling. Submission of material is carried out by Lecturers who are members of the team proposing online community service activities.

Activity reports are one of the most important elements in an organization. The activity of writing student activity reports at the end of the implementation of activities becomes a thing that is always avoided by students, especially students who are members of a sub-campus organization. The community service activities aim to provide understanding, as well as improve the ability to write reports on student activities in accordance with the guidelines issued by BPM the Lancang Kuning University. In particular, this activity aims to improve the knowledge and techniques of writing and the preparation of student activity reports especially Organisasi Mahasiswa (ORMAWA) such as DPM, BEM, UKM and HMJ at the Lancang Kuning University. This service activity includes training or counseling which contains the delivery of information for material that is technical and the practice of the report writer, in this case is material about the concept of the report; dialogical method that is question and answer and continues with the practice of writing reports on how to write reports in accordance with the guidelines issued by BPM Lancang Kuning University; and training methods to instill technical and practical skills and skills in writing reports.
