This study aims to determine the technical application of picohydro power plant (making design and application test) in Pandansari Village, Wanayasa District, Banjarnegara Regency. The result of technical analysis of picohydro power plant is capable of producing 7.200 watt or 7,2 kilowatts of electric power. Based on the observation and calculation of water discharge in July-August 2017, the water debit required to run the generator on picohydro power plant is insufficient (less than 30 liters / sec) due to the months already entering the dry season in Banjarnegara Regency and also because some of the water debit is used by waterwheel to increase water supply to the water container / reservoir belonging to the people of Pandansari Village. During the dry season, the picohydro power plant can be used when operated alternately with a water mill or set the time of use for each water mill used in the morning until late afternoon, while the picohydro power plant is used during the afternoon until night or early morning when people need electricity for their daily needs. The next alternative is to place a second picohydro / turbine generator under the first turbine utilizing waste water from the first turbine with a height difference of at least 2 meters or more. If during the rainy season, there is a very heavy flow of water from above then the overflow can be disbursed / dumped down through the overflow channel so that the performance of the picohydro generator is not disturbed

Research has been carried out to regulate / control the rotation of the turbine for this type of micro hydro power plant (PLTMH). This research was carried out during the dry season where water discharge greatly affects turbine rotation. This tool utilizes an optocoupler sensor, servo motor and 2x16 LCD. This system works based on the turbine rotation speed that is read on the sensor then controls the slope of the water fall using a DC motor. If thewater speed is low, the servo motor will turn CW up to a maximum slope of 75 degrees to produce maximum rotation and maximum power. This research does not focus on the magnitude of the resulting current source and the amount of water discharge

Microhydro Power Plant (MPP) is a power plant that uses water as a medium to drive turbines and generators. The power generated by PLTMH depends on the flow of river water that flows through PLTMH Prakandowo. In the dry season the water discharge fluctuates so that the efficiency of the MPP has decreased. The research was conducted to analyze the Power Efficiency of MPP Parakandowo. The research method used in this research is non-experimental quantitative using descriptive methods in Parakandowo Hamlet, Sidomulyo Village, Lebakbarang District, Pekalongan Regency. This study provides an overview of the decrease in power efficiency of PLTMH Parakandowo in the dry season. The results of this study are the efficiency value of PLTMH Parakandowo of 65.33% which indicates inefficiency, due to the effect of decreasing water discharge. The long-term solution is to connect MPP with PLN. Homer software can simulate a grid connected MPP with PLN. The simulation results of Homer software hybridize PLTMH with PLN, namely the energy that can be produced is 122,593 kW / year. Keywords—MPP,efficiency, homer, grid connected

With the application and development of Power Electronics, HVDC is applied more widely China. However, HVDC system has the possibilities to cause subsynchronous torsional vibration interaction with turbine generator shaft mechanical system. This paper simply introduces the mechanism, analytical methods and suppression measures of subsynchronous oscillation. Then it establishes a power plant model in islanding model using PSCAD, and analyzes the effects of the number and output of generators to SSO, and verifies the effect of SEDC and SSDC using time-domain simulation method. Simulation results show that the more number and output of generators is detrimental to the stable convergence of subsynchronous oscillation, and SEDC、SSDC can restrain unstable SSO, avoid divergence of SSO, ensure the generators and system operate safely and stably

The supply of electrical energy in Tarakan City, North Kalimantan, still relies on diesel power which uses a limited number of petroleum energy sources. There is a need for research related to renewable energy sources that have the potential to become alternative energy for the people of Tarakan City. Water is an energy source that has great potential to generate electricity. The energy source that should be taken into account is micro-hydro which can be used as a Micro-hydro Power Plant (PLTMH). A survey of micro-hydro sources in Tarakan City, precisely in the Karungan area, East Mamburungan Village, has been carried out with the direct measurement method of water discharge and the relationship with the power generated. The result shows the water source has a discharge 0.00034 m3/ s, the water velocity of 0.035 m/s and generates power only up to 1.1 watts. Based on the power obtained, the water source in this place cannot be used as a source of micro-hydro energy, but has the potential as a source of pico-hydro energy.

Ronggeng Pasaman is a performance art consisting of pantun, joget, and music, especially in Simpang Tonang, Pasaman, West Sumatra. The form of the Ronggeng Pasaman show is combining bouncing skills while dancing to the accompaniment of violin and drum music. The show starts at night, and ends until early morning. Currently Ronggeng Pasaman has undergone a transformation, people, especially young people, are less interested and begin to leave their regional arts, so the Ronggeng Pasaman show is rarely displayed. There was anxiety from the artists themselves, then initiatives emerged to attract the attention of the people. So it formed the Ronggeng Pasaman Ganto Saroha group, with the addition of keyboard music instruments in the show. Unlike the Pasaman Ronggeng Performance in general, the Ganto Saroha group does not show male singers with female appearance, but rather singers are real women or men. This study uses qualitative methods, is analytic description, observant participants. The results showed that the transformation carried out by the artists, made the Ronggeng Pasaman performance of the Ganto Saroha group well received and in great demand by all people in Pasaman, and was fully supported by the local government.

Keywords : Form Transformation, Pasaman Ronggeng Performance, Ganto Saroha Group

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui transformasi bentuk pertunjukan Ronggeng Pasaman grup Ganto Saroha di Kecamatan Duo Koto, Kabupaten Pasaman. CORRECTION: The correct PDF for this article was loaded on 22/04/2013.The study was carried out in the vicinity of the Tinau river, Rupandehi, Nepal from July 2011 to June 2012. Ten number of shallow tube wells (STWs) of depths 5.18 m to 7.62 m, four shallow tube wells (STWs) of depths 28.96 m to 36.58 m. from Amawa and Farsatikar Village Development Committees and one dug well (DW) from Butwal Municipality were selected for the purpose of this study. The depth of the STWs was different but many STWs were of 6.09 m deep. The DW was of 18.29 m. The information was collected from the owners during field visit of the sites. A standard questionnaire was prepared and asked to the affected persons. The site observation was done in the dry season as well as in the rainy seasons. It was found that the extraction of riverbed materials from the river channel and the flood plain area has adversely affected the aquatic environment of the Tinau river. Massive extraction of the riverbed materials from this river started after the enforcement of local governance act, and regulation 1999. The income generated from the riverbed materials is quite enough. This is one of the major sources of income generation of DDC Rupandehi and the VDCs attached to this river (from Butwal to Bethari). The depth of the river increased due to extraction activities as a result groundwater table lowered. The STWs having depth of 5.18 to 7.62 m stopped discharging water from the aquifer in the dry season. Similarly DW of Butwal municipality having depth of 18.29 m stopped discharging water at dry season. But the STWs of depths from 28.96 m to 36.58 m. located at the same area/site were not affected by the extraction in the Tinau river. The people, who are residing on the bank of the river Tinau, suffered from drinking water problem because they are using the water from STWs. The effect is directly facing the people of low and medium level having low income generation. The extraction activity is going on and the deficit of water availability in STWs and DW is common in the vicinity of the Tinau river especially in the upstream (from Butwal to Paschim Amawa), whereas there is less effects of riverbed extraction for STWs of depths more than 27.43 m in the same sites. Opening ParagraphReaders of Africa will be well aware of population migration as a characteristic feature of a continent where movement between one part and another is largely unrestricted as compared with the more settled parts of the world. There is much evidence of large-scale tribal migrations in the past, of the age-old seasonal wanderings of herders, and of recent labour migration to centres of mineral and industrial production, the last particularly in Central and South Africa. Information is more limited concerning the features of labour migration in West Africa at the present day. In general it is thought that migrants leave their home areas, after the harvest at the commencement of the dry season, to seek work elsewhere for a period of from three to six months and then return to take up farming with the commencement of the next rains. The major source area for these migrants is to the north of the tenth parallel where the wet season is concentrated into a period of about four months, thus severely restricting agricultural activity. Cultivation during the dry season is possible only on a very limited scale. There is thus a considerable period of the year when the primary economic activity of the people is not possible. It is logical that they should seek work elsewhere.

Agriculture in Bali generally using Subak system as an irrigation system. This irrigation system is regulated by a traditional leader who is also a farmer in Bali. Water distribution is carried out according to the area of farmers land. The problems that can be happened on this irrigation system, such as the community that opens the floodgates to the rice fields, are not in accordance with the time provided by traditional leaders, and that can break the unity in the area. In addition, during the dry season the distribution of water is sometimes uneven because the availability of water in the dam does not meet the needs. So that Arduino-based Solar Powered Smart Irrigation is designed as one of the tools to facilitate the management of subak water distribution. The modeling made is to simulate 3 pieces of rice fields that are drained by water with the main source being the river and the source of the reserve in the form of a reservoir. This system is controlled based on the programmed time on the RTC module and the monitoring system uses the GSM SIM900 module. The data obtained is the value of water discharge in the rainy season of 2.090 L / s, the dry season of 11.18 L / s, and 0 L / s in the hard dry season.
