RESULTS ASPECTS OF CAPITALIZATION OF MACHINE-BUILDING ENTERPRISES OF UKRAINE

The purpose of this article is to assess the results captation machine-building enterprises of Ukraine, determination of their causal relationships, as well as recommendations for ensuring growth of capitalization. In Ukraine, mechanical engineering has traditionally been described as the locomotive of domestic economy development, the dynamics that determine performance aspects of functioning of enterprises of engineering industry are descending. The features research of engineering enterprises development is a topical area in the aspect capitation, as it allows to determine the core list of issues that lead to negative dynamics of the economic results and allows you to define the priority focuses of managerial influence to ensure that the increasing trends of engineering business capitalization. Mechanical engineering is the most sensitive area of the industry to strategic technological innovations. Undoubtedly, the main focus on the development of innovative machine-building business should be made by the companies’ management. However, government support is essential in the situation, which is characteristic of the domestic business environment. While engineering companies have to fundamentally change their business models, target orientation which should be aimed at ensuring the intellectual parameters of modern engineering production. In this aspect, you cannot rely on short-term financial results, and perhaps within a certain time interval, there will be a process of decapitalization. Such methods were used in the course of writing the article: estimation of the fundamental value of capital, the VBM analysis, the factor analysis results in accordance with the ReOI model. The results of the factor evaluation of the capital fundamental value of domestic machine-building enterprises determined the causes decapitalization and formed the principles of the national strategy for the development of modern machine-building production according to the content of the concept “Industry 4.0”. Of practical value are the results of the methodological approach testing to assessing the enterprise management efficiency based on the method of fundamental capitalization. Key words. The main purpose of marketing activities in the field of mechanical engineering is to generate marketing information in order to make decisions in the field of interaction of the subjects of the marketing system, as well as to support management decisions. Also, marketing activities in the field of mechanical engineering helps to reduce the impact of elements of uncertainty and risk in the production and marketing activities of the enterprise. The practice of foreign machine-building enterprises indicates that the achievement of significant results in the activity is possible only with a thorough study of the machine-building market, as well as competitors operating in it, their careful assessment and consideration of their experience in their own activities. Taking into account the above features of the marketing activities of machine-building enterprises can be one of the ways to increase the competitiveness of domestic machine-building enterprises in international markets. Systematizing and analyzing objective information about the state of the market of machine-building products, the company is able to independently develop recommendations for making specific management decisions and methods of their implementation, to achieve the end results of efficiency in the activities of its machine-building enterprise. Marketing analysis of the external environment of domestic machine-building enterprises indicates that there is a complex and complex problem of competitiveness of the machine-building complex of Ukraine in world markets. In general, we can say about the domestic engineering industry: it is technologically backward, institutionally underdeveloped, too vulnerable to public policy and market fluctuations in the world market. Ukrainian machine building requires a comprehensive formation and gradual implementation of the national strategy for the development of the machine building industry and ensuring the appropriate level of its competitiveness in international markets. This necessitates the search for ways and means that can facilitate the transition of domestic machine-building enterprises to a better condition. Consideration of practice, analysis of development trends of machine-building enterprises allows to improve the quality of strategic management decisions, which will in the long run increase the level of competitiveness and enter new markets for domestic machine-building enterprises.

The article deals with the assessment of the economic condition of machine-building enterprises . Three major automotive companies were considered as the object of research. Profitability indicators were adopted as the main evaluation indicator. To assess the economic efficiency of enterprises, a formula is proposed that takes into account the weight of its components.

The essence of the concept of "product competitiveness" is considered. The factors of competitiveness of products of machine-building enterprises on the international market are systematized. Based on the systematization of quantitative and qualitative methods of assessing the level of competitiveness, a step-by-step method for mechanical engineering enterprises is proposed. The state of the machine-building complex of Ukraine is considered. The dynamics of factors of international competitiveness of machine-building enterprises is analyzed: number of enterprises by machine-building branches; volume of sales and production of machine-building products; shares of mechanical engineering products in domestic exports; capital investments of enterprises in the fields of mechanical engineering. As a result of diagnosing the factors, a PEST-analysis of the domestic machine-building complex with the division of factors into political, economic, social and technological was carried out. It is established that machine-building enterprises of Ukraine have a low level of competitiveness in international markets due to a number of negative factors, the key of which are: insufficient demand in foreign markets, high dependence on fluctuations in resource prices (economic); imperfect legislation, the war in eastern Ukraine (political); technological and moral obsolescence of products and fixed assets, high energy consumption and low productivity, low costs of R&D (technological); lack or outflow of qualified manufacturers abroad, low wages, low motivation of job seekers to employment in the field of mechanical engineering (social). Measures to increase international competitiveness which are proposed include following: preferential lending; revival of basic and applied science; reforming the legal regulation of intellectual property; ensuring compliance of products with European technical regulations. Prospects for the development of domestic engineering: digitalization, development of robotics, technology of Industry 4.0, infrastructure of technology parks.

This article summarizes the scientific approaches to improving the quality of relations between the enterprise and business partners in preparation for the release and production of new products in today's economic realities. The study's main purpose is to substantiate and develop a methodological approach for determining effective relationship models between enterprises and business partners to prepare and produce new products. The article presents a developed four-stage methodological approach. The first stage of the study presents an analysis of existing approaches to forming relationships between the enterprise and business-business partners to prepare and produce new products. In the second stage, factual data on machine-building industry enterprises' functioning were collected to determine the effectiveness of cooperation and success, which are the key components that improve the quality of relations between the enterprise and business partners in preparing new products. At the third stage, partners' priority was determined to characterize the quality of the relationship between machine-building enterprises and business-business partners. The fourth stage determined the relationship between the qualitative levels of business partners' priority and appropriate relationship models to prepare and produce new products. The study used expert methods, multidimensional factor analysis, additive convolution method, structural-logical method, graphical method. A survey of enterprise representatives was conducted to assess the effectiveness of cooperation on 12 surveyed machine-building enterprises. Partial indicators were identified and substantiated by multidimensional factor analysis, generalized for making decisions about business partner enterprises' existing opportunities to prepare and produce new products. Based on the calculation of the integrated indicator, partners' priority was determined. That characterized the quality of relations between machine-building enterprises and business-business partners in preparing and producing new products. According to the Harrington scale specified for the economic conditions of Ukraine, the qualitative levels of partner companies' priority were determined. The proposed effective models of relationships for preparing and producing new products are put in line with them. The study results could improve the quality and validity of the formation and maintenance of relationships between enterprises and business partners in preparing and producing new products.

The article has devoted to the issues of improving the competitiveness of enterprises in the engineering industry. The factors hindering the development of industry enterprises have been analyzed. The article substantiates the main components of the competitiveness of enterprises, which are of particular relevance: product range – technology; – advanced R & d; – economic, industrial and innovative potential, etc. the Possibilities of improving the competitiveness of enterprises at the level of macroeconomics and at the level of enterprises themselves have been considered. The method of calculation, allowing to draw conclusions about the competitiveness of the product range of the enterprise has been offered.

Актуальность исследования обусловлена необходимостью анализа перспектив машиностроительной отрасли России в контексте развертывания «цифровой экономики». Сегодня российская отрасль машиностроения находится в сильной зависимости от импортных технологий. Кроме этого, существует огромная внутренняя потребность в оборудовании, вызванная моральным и физическим устареванием основных фондов. Для выявления особенностей структуры и показателей российской отрасли машиностроения автором проводится статистический анализ, в том числе в сравнении со структурой экспорта других стран. В числе драйверов технологического развития были выявлены: стандартизация систем и платформ, внедрение инновационных бизнес-моделей, развитие инвестиционных возможностей и создание системы переобучения кадров. The relevance of the study is due to the need to analyze the prospects of the engineering industry in Russia in the context of the deployment of the “digital economy”. At present, the Russian machine-building industry is heavily dependent on imported technologies. In addition, there is a huge internal need for equipment, caused by the moral and physical obsolescence of fixed assets. To identify the features of the structure and indicators of the Russian machine-building industry, the author carries out a statistical analysis, including in comparison with the export structure of other countries. Among the drivers of technological development were identified: standardization of systems and platforms, the introduction of innovative business models, the development of investment opportunities and the creation of a retraining system.

The purpose of the study is to propose a procedure for choosing a business model of a machine-building enterprise, depending on the degree of utilization of scientific knowledge of the company’s employees in the production. The subject of the article is the search for a new business model based on education and science in order to develop Russian mechanical engineering in the period of the emergence of the knowledge economy. At the same time, mechanical engineering is positioned as a basic branch of the knowledge economy. To select a business model, depending on the degree of use of scientific knowledge at a machine-building enterprise, a system of factors and their indicators is substantiated. The identified factors are related to possible knowledge-based business models. When choosing a business model in mechanical engineering, the most adequate to the development of the knowledge economy is the option with a high degree of utilization of scientific knowledge of workers. Therefore, the management of the system of selected factors should be aimed at the predominant use of indicators that provide this option in the production. Knowledge management is selected as the mechanism for implementing the required business model. Prospects for further research are in the organic combination of business modeling with knowledge management technologies created and applied in the dominance of the humanistic paradigm.

The purpose of this article is to improve the mechanism of economic security of enterprise`s strategic interests on example of machine-building enterprises of Ukraine. It is substantiated in article that existing and described in the literature mechanisms for ensuring strategic economic security have omissions. It is related with retrospective analysis of hazards (threats) and focus on resource provision. The article relations nonlinearity between level / state of economic security and results of its provision and management, provoked by influence of business environment factors beyond control of enterprise, is determined. It is proposed, in contrast to the approaches existing in the literature, to define mechanism of economic security of strategic interests as vision of dangers / threats and opportunities in future flow of events, which forms information basis for developing and implementing integrated set of management actions aimed at achieving and maintaining desired level (state) of economic security in long run. Developed mechanism is considered on example of machine-building enterprises of Ukraine. Influence of modern engineering technologies is taken into account. Analytical basis for realization of mechanism of maintenance of economic security of strategic interests of machine-building enterprises of Ukraine is developed. Its practical application will be useful for management personnel in the development and decision-making process to ensure the economic security of enterprises.


The article stipulates that machine-building enterprises in a market economy in the process of carrying out any business operations must take into account the fact of the probability of negative developments and their financial consequences. In order to avoid the global consequences of the manifestation of risks, companies must have a system for diagnosing the level of sustainability of development, taking into account the impact of target risk parameters and innovative support to prevent significant financial losses. The proposed algorithm of the methodological approach to determine the impact of target risk parameters on the level of innovative support for sustainable development of machine-building enterprises allows to take into account both the requirement to maximize the expected total income and the requirement to minimize variance, ie lower risk than expected. It is concluded that the algorithm makes it possible to identify and identify risks, ie to determine the portfolio of risks and the impact of innovation on their level and vice versa, which accompanies the implementation of appropriate management decisions and delineation of their scope. One of the components of the formation of mechanisms for diagnosing the level of innovative support for sustainable development of machine-building enterprises is risk management. The importance of this component increases with the increase in the cost of covering or compensating for the risks faced by machine-building enterprises. Evaluation of the results and adjustment of selected methods occurs after the implementation of these methods directly into the work of the enterprise. This stage is crucial because it allows to draw conclusions about the methods that have been used to neutralize or reduce risks, namely: whether they sufficiently protect the machine-building enterprise from potential threats, determine the level of reliability of certain methods and areas for improvement and adjustment. selected methods of diagnostics of the level of sustainable development of machine-building enterprises taking into account the target parameters of risk and innovation.

The purpose of the article is to analyse the current state of development of Ukraine’s mechanical engineering, looking at export trends of mechanical engineering products across product groups and the main importing countries. The analysis indicates that Ukrainian exports of engineering products have declined significantly in recent years. The low export orientation of machine-building production is mainly due to the low level of innovation investment, as a result of which the technological development of Ukraine’s machine building industry not aligned with the requirements of the global market. The author indicates directions of machine-building production that can make the Ukrainian industry more competitive in the future arguing that thanks to the current production capacity and technological skills, availability of the labour force, research institutions, opportunities for international cooperation, Ukraine is well-positioned to increase the export potential of the mechanical engineering industry.
