The impact of the use of refined petroleum on potential pollution in mangrove allows the presence of lead metal (Pb) in the Sangihe Islands Restoration and Learning Center and the use of mangroves in the Sangihe Islands Restoration and Mangrove Learning Center as a place of learning has not been carried out to the full. Therefore, in this regard, a study was carried out by analyzing Pb metals in sediments, Gastropod shells and Bivalvia shells in the research subsystem zone of the Sangihe Islands Restoration and Mangrove Learning Center which were then designed into learning designs using a model of problem based learning. The research method used is an exploratory method. Pb metal analysis was performed using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer instrument resulting in an average Pb metal in sediments was 0.402 ppm, in Bivalvia shells was 0.04283 ppm and Gastropods shells was 0.0654 ppm. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the presence of Pb metal in sediments, Bivalvia shells and Gastropod shells then yields four main questions in the learning design with Sub-Impacts of the Use of Petroleum using the problem based learning model.

The consequence of the assessment for the research statistics course at the department of physics Education in Universitas Jambi demonstrates the students' capacities to hold the idea of the mastery of research statistical concept is very low. It winds up one of the shortcomings for them to finish their final assignment. Therefore, the researcher examined the student's mastery of the research statistical concept by utilizing Problem-Based Learning as one of the methods that were chosen from the learning advancement. The research method is quantitative with 295 numbers of samples. Questionnaires and MCQs were used as the instruments of the research. The result had been investigated utilizing a simple regression analysis. PBL influences the mastery of research statistical concept. In 6<sup>th</sup> semester male students', the impact of PBL toward the mastery of the research statistical concept contributed 72% and 67% for female students. Meanwhile, for students at 8<sup>th</sup> semesters, the impact of PBL on the mastery of research statistical concept contributed 68% for male and 70% for female.

This study aims to improve the skills of writing persuasive speech texts by using a multimedia-assisted Problem Based learning model for grade 9J students of SMP Negeri 2 Mataram. This research method used classroom action research. Data were obtained by using field notes, observations, tests, and documentation in the form of assignments. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by multimedia can increase the activeness of students in learning to write persuasive speech texts. The increase can be seen from the percentage of activeness of 65.71% in the first cycle to 94.29% in the second cycle. In addition, the multimedia-assisted Problem Based Learning model can improve the skills of writing persuasive speech texts. This can be seen from the writing results of students who achieved the KKM in the first cycle of 74.29%, increasing to 100%.

Gender gap is one of the problems in achieving science learning objectives. To minimize gender gap in science learning has become the focus of research in world science education experts, including in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the impact of science-based learning on Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in reducing gender gap on learning achievement of science. Quantitative quasi-experimental research methods with non-equivalent pre-post group design are used in this study. The results of the analysis indicate that applying the PBL model by involving a number of relevant learning tools can reduce the gender gap in science learning, it shown by the t-test results on the N-gain of both groups of male and female in the topic of Sound and Sonar Systems in Living Beings. It showed the learning outcomes which do not differ significantly (p> 0.05).Bias gender atau gender gap sering menjadi permasalahan dalam pencapaian kompetensi siswa pada pembelajaran sains. Meminimalisasi gender gap di kelas-kelas sains telah menjadi fokus penelitian para pakar pendidikan sains dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dampak pembelajaran sains yang berorientasi pada model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam mereduksi gender gap dalam capaian pembelajaran sains. Metode penelitian kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen dengan disain non-equivalent pre-post group digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis datamengungkapkan bahwa implementasi model PBL dengan melibatkan sejumlah perangkat pembelajaran yang relevan dapat mereduksi gender gap pada pembelajaran sains, yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji-t terhadap N-gain kedua kelompok putra dan putri siswa SMP dalam topik Indera Pendengaran dan Sistem Sonar pada Makhluk Hidup, menunjukkan hasil belajar yang tidak berbeda secara signifikans (p>0,05).

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada siswa kelas X MAN 2 Cianjur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan dua siklus, setiap siklus dua kali pertemuan. Data diperoleh dengan angket, observasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model PBL mampu meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, model PBL dapat meningkatkan kreativitas menulis teks anekdot, skor rata-rata kreativitas menulis teks anekdot saat pratindakan 67% setelah diberi tindakan  (siklus I) meningkat 7% menjadi 74% dan siklus II meningkat lagi sebesar 6% menjadi 80%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model PBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot siswa kelas X IPS 4 MAN 2 CianjurThis paper describes an increase in the effectiveness of learning to write anecdotal texts by using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research method used was Classroom Action Research with two cycles, each cycle consisted of two meetings. Data obtained from questionnaire, observation, and test. The results show that the use of PBL model was able to improve the quality of the learning process. In addition, PBL models could increase the creativity of writing anecdotal texts. This can be seen from the students’ average score of writing anecdotal text in pre-action was 67%, after an action was implemented in the first cycle it increased 7% to 74% and after the second cycle the average score of writing an anecdotal text on Grade 2 students at MAN 2 Cianjur increased 6% to 80%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of PBL model can improve anecdotal text writing skills of students of class X IPS 4 MAN 2 CianjurKata kunci : anekdol, Problem Based Learning

Learning during the current pandemic requires innovation so that students do not miss the material. One thing that teachers can do is develop e-modules. The purpose of the e-module is so that students can continue to study independently according to their respective speeds and abilities. Research method using the Borg and Gall model with 8 systematic steps. The results of the study show that the e-module can be used properly according to expert validation and students input.

AbstrakProses pelaksanaan pembelajaran sains di MI peranannya masih tersentral pada guru (teacher centered) yang menyebabkan peserta didik kurang tertarik terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Selain itu, kurangnya peningkatan kualitas guru dari segi kompetensi pedagogis. Fakta di lapangan memperlihatkan bahwa dalam mempelajari sains, siswa cenderung lebih menghafal konsep, teori, dan prinsip tanpa memaknai proses perolehannya. Untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut, perlu dilakukan upaya berupa perbaikan strategi pembelajaran dengan tujuan mempermudah pemahaman peserta didik dalam keterampilan proses dan karakteristik islami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang implikasi penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran sains kelas V ditinjau dari keterampilan proses dan dampaknya terhadap karakter islami peserta didik tahun akademik 2018/2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode tindakan (action research) dengan kegiatan siklus 1 dan 2 mencakup empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan pengumpulan data melalui teknik tes, angket, observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains siklus pertama tergolong cukup baik dengan presentase 69,79% dan pada siklus kedua dengan presentase 73,01% cukup baik dengan mengalami peningkatan 3,26%. Karakter islami peserta didik pada siklus 1 menunjukkan presentase 85,00% kategori baik dan pada siklus kedua menunjukkan 90,96% pada kategori baik dengan mengalami peningkatan 5,96%. Oleh karena itu, karakteristik islami peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sains dapat dibentuk dan meningkat dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) melalui keterampilan proses.AbstractThe implementation of the science learning process in MI focused on the teacher (teacher-center) which caused the students were uninterested to the material taught. In addition, the lack of teachers’ quality improvement in terms of pedagogical competence. The facts in the field showed that in studying science, students tended to memorize concepts, theories, and principles without interpreting the acquisition process. To solve these problems, the efforts need to be done such as improving the learning strategies in order to facilitate the students' understanding of process skills and Islamic characteristics. The purpose of this study was to describe the implications of applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class V base on learning process skill and the impact on the students’ Islamic character in the academic year 2018/2019. This study used qualitative approach with the action research where in the cycle 1 and 2 activities covered four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, reflecting. Implementation of data collection through tests, questionnaires, observations, field notes, and documentation. The research findings showed that the science process skills of the first cycle were quite good with 69.79% and in the second cycle was 73.01% which was quite good with an increase of 3.26%. The students’ Islamic characters in cycle 1 showed 85.00% in good category and in the second cycle showed 90.96% in the good category with an increase of 5.96%. Therefore, Islamic characteristics of students in science subjects can be built and improved by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) models through process skills.

The study was conducted to determine the impact of academic supervision on improving teacher performance in the learning design process. The action research method was used to apply academic supervision and was designed in three cycles. Data were collected through 17 elementary school teachers from 10 supervisory schools in North Batukliang sub-district, Central Lombok Regency and analyzed quantitatively-descriptively. This study found that the implementation of continuous academic supervision was able to improve the learning design skills of elementary school teachers. In cycle-I as many as 41.17% of teachers have a good performance in learning design, in cycle-II there are 35.29% of teachers needing guidance, then in cycle-III all teachers meet standard skills in designing learning well (100%). The results concluded that academic supervision has a positive effect on improving teacher performance in elementary schools.

This study aims to determine the results of economic learning using the problem based learning (PBL) learning model. The research method used is the classroom Action Research through four stages, namely: action planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection is done by test and observation techniques. From the results of the research and data analysis, it was concluded that the application of the problem based learning (PBL) learning model especially in the consumption and investment material for class X3 in Bulukumba State High School 9 increased. For this reason, innovations in learning need to be continuously improved and supported by the provision of adequate educational facilities
