By the XXI century, we are always online thanks to the available modern telecommunication tools, so certain concepts, results, and value systems are therefore revalued. This change, which involves loss of value as well, is present in all areas of life and has an impact on the morality and value perception of the growing generation. The purpose of the study is on the one hand to present and analyse the changes in values of today's society. On the other hand, its purpose is to give a picture of the role model choices of today's young people. As a test method, we used a questionnaire survey method besides exploring the domestic and international literature. A total of 687 people participated in the survey. The study was conducted with the participation of six countries, including four in Europe - Hungary, Ukraine, Romania, and Serbia - and two outside Europe - Malaysia and Kenya. Our hypotheses were: H1: It is assumed that most of the young people have an athlete role model; H2: It is assumed that in Kenya and Malaysia there is a significantly higher proportion of those who choose athlete role models and they are chosen along with positive values; H3: It is assumed that, due to social, economic, and cultural disparities, I can show significant differences in the choice of role models for young people surveyed in Central and Eastern European and non-European countries. As a result, the habits of athlete role model choice among the interviewed young people of six countries become comparable. We get a clearer picture of the values along which young people choose an orientation person

Summary One cannot write about the relationship of young people and current sports stars in modern society without having previously studied the processes of mediation and globalisation of sport, and the transformation of traditional social values. The goal of the science and practice engaged in sports and education of young people is a constant quest for preserving universal ethical values and reconciling them with the modern-day social processes. This paper will present the result of a survey conducted with adolescents in five different Serbian cities in order to find the answer to the question if sportspersons were their favourite television role-models. According to the results of our survey, 45% of adolescents do not have a favourite TV personality and do not know for sure who that could be. Novak Đoković, who would be the choice of adults for a role model of the young, with 63.2% according to the survey conducted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, scored 3.81% in our survey with adolescents who would chose Novak Đoković as their favourite TV personality. The necessity of raising media literacy of young people with the aim of clear identification of sports role models who are going to improve their quality of life still remains an open issue for further research on this course.

A field experiment tested the effect of choosing a “favorite” role model on sense of fit in science among middle school girls. The girls participated in a 1-day science outreach event where they were exposed to multiple female role models. At the end of the event, participants were randomly assigned to choose and write about a favorite role model or to choose and write about their best friend. Girls in the role model choice condition experienced a significant increase in sense of fit in science, whereas girls in the control condition did not. Girls in the role model choice condition also tended to have stronger role model identification than girls in the control condition, and role model identification was correlated with sense of fit in science. Encouraging girls to actively choose and write about a favorite role model may help to maximize the impact of exposure to role models.

The appeal to the study of the concept of "justice" is due to several reasons: the ambiguity of the concept itself, its evolution in various socio-cultural contexts, the social need for a reflexive analysis of justice itself as a value that is being transformed in the process of social change, realized by researchers, justice has a special meaning for the self-determination of young people, who, in the process of upbringing, assimilated the transmitted values of an industrial society, but right now in society there are changes in morality, value attitudes, the system of ideals and norms, and an important place in this foundation should be given to "justice" as a category of moral, legal and socio-political. In this regard, the phenomenon of justice requires study and reflective analysis. Of particular interest is the study of the following questions: How does justice fit into the new structure of social space? Doesn't this concept of integrity and universality lose? Does society retain the value perception of justice in its "traditional" form, or is there a value erosion, as a result of which value actually disappears, turning into a simulacrum? The authors made an attempt to record the dynamics of the meanings of justice at different stages of social development, and also, through the focus group method, to establish that the concept of justice among young people, on the one hand, has not yet been fully reflected, but at the same time is an element of their value system, The “new” understanding of justice among young people is associated with the idea of the existence of conditions that provide an opportunity for self-realization for everyone, the disclosure of a person's inner resources. Young people consider the aspect of caring for people with disabilities, disabled, unemployed to be important in defining justice.

With the development of the worldwide Internet, the security of private data in the online space has become an increasing concern. On the one hand, users post a lot of information about themselves; on the other hand, they are very concerned about the safety of this information. Thereby a privacy paradox emerges: the difference between attitudes to information privacy and actual user behaviour. This article examines different approaches to the interpretation of this phenomenon. The authors of the article identify the motives for using social media. A study was conducted to define the relation between these motives and the attitude of young people with regards to confidentiality, which directly influences the confidentiality paradox occurrence. The survey method and a statistical method for studying relationships and a correlation analysis were used to solve the problem. The authors found that offline privacy is important among most young people, yet more than half of those asked considered online security to be very important as well. Positive and negative correlations were found between reasons for using social media and users’ privacy behaviour. The results of the study identified a correlation between active and passive users’ security settings and motivations for using social media. The authors conclude that users are aware of the high vulnerability of personal data on the Internet, however, may consciously sacrifice their security for the benefits that influence their motives for using social media: online identity, fear of missing out, convenience, sharing, information consumption and communication.

The opportunities and development of skills in the field of sports may open a door to social inclusion that also facilitates social integration. Based on the funding provided by the national sports strategy and integration, the research project can be developed further on and implemented. The efforts of the European Union (EU) and of the European Council towards the member states are carried out through its directives, and the analyses of these documents provide guidelines for the elaboration of the Hungarian Roma strategies. Funding is one of the key factors for the elaboration of Roma integration strategy and its efficiency. The research highlights upon the way of thinking and mentality of Roma young people about sports currently, and on the importance of sport affairs for them. Also, reflects on the factors which promote motivation to have successful career goals and achieve those based on the program. The sports integration survey suggests conclusions on the role of mentoring in Roma youngsters’ studies, in sports, in building social relations, the role model motivating for them, or on the supportive role of the parents or even the lack of it in their families. The expected result would be a survey on sporting habits of the Roma minority and disadvantaged youth and their positioning in education through which we could develop programs to promote the integration of the Roma minority and to improve their general circumstances. The National Social Inclusion Strategy (Ministry of Human Capacities, National Social Inclusion Strategy 2011–2020) provides the financial background of the integration project whose application also prevails in the field of sports integration. The aspirations of the EU provide guidance to the amount of funding and its allocation manners. The National Roma Self-Government’s (NRSG) sports integration project and best practice has provided the basis for the sports integration research project. The survey is examining the recreational habits, motivational factors, study levels among the Roma minority and the disadvantaged young people. Based on the questionnaire, we can draw some conclusions about the development of sports integration programs. The issues cover the field of sport activities of young people aged between 9-18 and on the significance of sport opportunities for break-out for the Roma youth, and on the effect of role models for them. The sports integration projects treat simultaneously the development of education and sport, furthermore they are significantly linked to each other. The target group of the questionnaire survey are mainly the Roma and disadvantaged people. The sample item number is 1216 completed questionnaires from the whole territory of the country, from 16 schools. As shown in the survey, the sport and the level of education are significantly related to each other. Those who do any sports, obtain higher level of achievement in their studies. It can be revealed by the fact that through mentoring the sportsmen can promote their school performance and sport development together. The research highlights on another observation, namely, it also confirms the legitimacy of sports integration program and points out the direction for development. For accomplishing the goal of social inclusion through sport we have at hand the appropriate concept. It is, furthermore necessary to strengthen and to develop the mentoring program, which ensures the lower drop-out rate among the participants. The effect of Sports integration is motivating for the Roma and for the disadvantaged youth. The use of sport as a tool for social inclusion proves to be of utmost importance. JEL code: Z23

The article discusses the current problems of the theory and practice of archetypal branding, analyzes the problems of archetypal branding from the perspective of ergonomic support for marketing research. In the framework of modern ergonomics, one of the tasks of its development is the ergonomic support of marketing research, including research on the development and evaluation of the effectiveness and productivity of the brand. A brand that is developed by marketers in accordance with a particular archetype or a specific role model can not only gain consumer recognition, but also help them formulate a way to express themselves. A role model in terms of the ergonomic support of marketing research can be used to develop a brand strategy: it represents an image that reflects a person’s ideas about a desirable role in the community. The client seeks not only to demonstrate this image to people, but also to use it in order to support and transform his own identity. At the same time, role models, unlike archetypal structures, practices and theorists from the standpoint of ergonomic support of marketing research typologize, based directly on a comparison with the leading motives of life and consumption. Role models correspond to different consumption situations, without contradicting the specific cultural and historical context. From the position of ergonomic support of marketing research, they should and can be used as functions specific to a given community, region, and time, as well as transcultural or supercultural structures that reflect one or another pole of the archetype in a particular cultural and historical environment.

UNSTRUCTURED The UK General Medical Council (GMC) explicitly states doctors have a duty to ‘contribute to teaching and training…by acting as a positive role model’. However, recent studies suggest some are not fulfilling this, which is impacting medical students' experiences and attitudes during their training. As such, doctors have a duty to act as role models and teachers, as specified by the GMC, which it seems are not currently being fulfilled. This would improve the medical students’ learning experiences and demonstrate good professional values for them to emulate. Therefore, these duties should be as important as patient care, since this will influence future generations.

Seeking shade, the use of textile sun protection and sunscreen, and protecting one’s eyes by wearing sunglasses are recommended sun protection measures in children. We aimed to quantify the use of these measures as well as the prevalence of sunburn in children aged 1 to 10 years in Germany and to identify their determinants. Data collected via telephone interviews in a nationwide sample of 554 parents or caregivers in family were analyzed. Use of sunscreen was the most common measure applied (77.8%), while sunglasses were least frequently used (12.5%). The prevalence of sunburn during the past year was 21.8%, and it was positively associated with children’s age. The use of sun protection measures was significantly associated with the age and skin color of the child, while characteristics and tanning behaviors of the caregivers only played a minor role. The use of sun protection measures was higher when caregivers perceived themselves as a role model (Odds Ratio (OR) = 4.33, p < 0.001). Our nationwide data show that there remains a need for the improved use of sun protection measures, especially in children aged 7 to 10 years. In educational material, parents should be encouraged to become positive role models for their children regarding sun protection.

Abstract Background Engagement of young people is essential for achieving sustainable outcomes both locally and in the global context. Democratic processes appear to be the most facilitative mechanism to hold governments to account with governments becoming more receptive to pro-environmental policies when there is input from citizens to do so. While there is concern about a general lack of participation in traditional forms of political processes, particularly among young people, there are those who are carving a space for themselves as active citizens within a system that is often times contradictory to their lives. In this context, this paper looks at the lived experiences of a small sample of active young people in Kulhudhuffushi island of Maldives and Hamilton, New Zealand to examine the contexts and conditions that lead to and sustain these forms of sustainable citizenship. Results In-depth interviews conducted with young people in both locations found similarities within both groups in terms of motivating factors, knowledge and support networks, lifestyle practices, and conceptualisations of citizenship. Early exposure to natural environments, role models and participation in actions and networks helped to create active citizenship, while lack of conducive spaces and cultural attitudes impeded activism. Conclusion The results show that providing opportunities for early interactions with nature, and participation in actions and activist networks is vital for fostering and sustaining active citizenship. Additionally local and national groups and institutions need to facilitate spaces conducive for organising and alternative narratives, as well as promoting a counter culture to the current carbon heavy system. The findings contribute to literature on listening to youth voices in environmental and climate activism.
