The background of this research is the lack of interest of students in writing poetry. This study aims to describe poetry writing skills using Audio Visual Media of Class V Elementary School 03 Sikumpa Bukik, Lareh Sago Halaban Subdistrict, Lima Puluh Kota Regency based on the selection of diction, majas and suitability of content with the theme. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The number of samples in this study were 22 students. This research data tests the performance of poetry writing skills. Data analysis is done by: checking work results and giving scores, changing scores to grades, looking for averages, classifying poetry writing skills using a scale of 10, and concluding. Based on the results of the study concluded that the average value of poetry writing skills using audio visual media is 78.45 with good qualifications. Judging from the aspect of diction, the average value is 48.86 with almost enough qualifications. Judging from the aspect of majors the average value is 87.45 with excellent qualifications. Judging from the aspect of conformity the content with the theme the average value is 100 with perfect qualifications. So, students are quite skilled in writing poetry using audio visual media.

The background of the problem in this study is the low interest of students in writing because they consider writing to be unpleasant, students' low understanding of the material, many students find it difficult to write free poetry, low strategies, models, or learning methods and learning media used by teachers less interesting and fun that makes students pay less attention to lessons while in class.The purpose of this study was to improve the improvement of poetry writing skills freely using the current writing strategy, here in class V B of State Elementary School 23 Clogging the 2018/2019 school year. The form of this research is classroom action research carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.The subjects of the study were students of class V B of Elementary School 23 menyumbung which amounted to 23 students. Data sources came from class V B students, V B grade teachers, learning activities and documents. To collect data used observation sheets, test questions and student interview sheets. The results of class action research show that the current writing strategy, here can significantly improve students' free poetry writing skills. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle of all the questions given obtained an average value of 64.22. In the second cycle of the overall questions given an average value of 70.68 was obtained so that the average increase of 6.46 was obtained. And the students' response to the strategies used was easy to understand and fun. The purpose of this study was to describe Poetry Writing Skills with the Sentence Model Concept of Class V Students of SDN 23 Kota Payakumbuh in terms of physical elements and inner elements of poetry. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population in this study were grade V students of SDN 23 Payakumbuh City, amounting to 22 students. In collecting data, researchers used performance testing techniques. While in analyzing the steps of the data taken by calculating the raw score the correct answer, the score changes to a value. Data analysis starts from the analysis of each aspect. The procedure for analyzing each aspect, the first to provide an assessment of student work seen from the physical elements and inner elements of poetry. Second, the conversion of scores into values using a percentage formula. Looking for the average value of the classification test results using a scale of 10. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the average results of poetry writing skills using the Concept Sentence concept of class V SDN 23 Kota Payakumbuh model are 87 with very good qualifications, in terms of physical elements 86.25 with excellent qualifications, from the inner element is 87.5 with very good qualifications. So, the fifth grade students of SDN 23 Kota Payakumbuh were good at writing poetry using the Concept Sentence model.Keywords: writing, poetry, and model concept sentence

This study aims to determine the effect of vocabulary mastery on poetry writing skills. The method used is correlational quantitative research. The population in this study was class X of SMA Negeri 2 Palopo, while the sample was 176 students. Data collection was conducted using a test instrument, and then the data obtained in this study were analyzed using SPSS V.20 . Based on the results of descriptive statistical calculations with the help of SPSS, it was found that the vocabulary mastery variable had an average value of 68.77, a standard deviation value of 5.416, a median value of 69, and a mode value of 67. From the 176 students, the lowest value was 52 as many as 1 person, with a percentage of 0.6%, while the highest value is 84 as many as 1 person with a percentage of 0.60%. Based on the results of these calculations, the level of mastery of student vocabulary is high, which is 81.86%. Furthermore, the results of data analysis and statistical calculations found the results of this study, namely, there is a correlation between mastery of vocabulary (X) on poetry writing skills (Y) which is 19.9%. How to conduct and determine the assessment on the poetry writing is also discussed.vocabulary mastery

The purpose of this study was to determine students' poetry writing skills before the application of acrostic techniques, the process of applying acrostic techniques in each cycles, and the increase produced after applying the acrostic technique. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that 1) the students' poetry writing skills before applying the acrostic technique obtained an average score of 46.87. 2) The application of acrostic techniques goes well according to the stages. The activity of teachers and students has increased dramatically, in the first cycle the teacher's activity gained a percentage of 64.15%, in the second cycle teacher activity increased to 89.1%. Student learning activities in the first cycle reached 61.65%, in cycle II it increased by 87.5%. 3) Students' poetry writing skills after applying acrostic techniques have increased. In the first cycle, the average score of students was 69.45, and the percentage of learning completeness was 51.75%. In cycle II the average value of students skill increased sharply to 89.37, and the percentage was 91%. Thus, the CAR carried out has been completed with the expected goal of improving poetry writing skills in Indonesian Language Subjects.

The learning process is basically demands the ability of teachers to control students' learning activities. Although not every learning activity, students rely on the presence of the teacher, but there is a causal relationship between teachers teach and students learn. Therefore, one of the responsibilities of teachers in the learning process is to design and implement the learning process in a way that students can achieve the goals that have been set. Creating an effective learning with the involvement of students in order to learn and grow going optimization of basic skills and complex skills in students, not an easy task. This requires another aspect that is not only verbal, but the inclusion of a variety of learning resources used by students with attendance and proper use. Therefore, it is necessary as part of the instructional media learning resources. Media helpful image to equip, maintain, and even improve the quality of ongoing learning, learning outcomes, activities, and student motivation. In the process of learning the presence of media images in poetry writing skills have to be particularly important because in the event that material submitted can deliver media as intermediary. This study focused on describing media images in poetry writing skills. This study aims to determine (1) the use of the techniques of media images in writing skills poetry in Islamic Elementary School Nurul Jadid, State Islamic Elementary School Kolomayan, and Islamic Elementary School Hashim As'ary Wonodadi Blitar, (2) to know the results of students in the use of media images in writing skills poetry in class V Islamic Elementary School Nurul Jadid, State Islamic Elementary School Kolomayan, and Islamic Elementary School Hashim As'ary Wonodadi Blitar. (3) To find out the constraints encountered in the use of media images in writing skills poetry Islamic Elementary School Nurul Jadid, State Islamic Elementary School Kolomayan, and Islamic Elementary School Hashim As'ary Wonodadi Blitar. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to the type of multi-case. The subjects were students of class V Islamic Elementary School Nurul Jadid, State Islamic Elementary School Kolomayan, and Islamic Elementary School Hashim As'ary Wonodadi Blitar. The data source consisted of informants, participants, locations, documentation. Data collection techniques by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Analysis of data using data analysis in the case and cross-case analysis of the data. While checking the validity of the data using focus peers, data triangulation, and triangulation of data sources. From these results, the authors concluded that (1) the use of technical implementation of media images in writing skills poetry in class V Islamic Elementary School Nurul Jadid, State Islamic Elementary School Kolomayan, and Islamic Elementary School Hashim As'ary. material that is difficult / abstract always use a medium of learning and practice for more simplicity, most media image media, direct objects and works of learners, to form an interesting learning invites students to the library, the school environment, to the outdoors, such as rice paddies, rivers and the ground. Techniques used lectures, media images, but it invites children to observe pictures that were in the school environment. (2) the results of students in the use of media images in writing skills poetry in class V Islamic Elementary School Nurul Jadid, State Islamic Elementary School Kolomayan, and Islamic Elementary School Hashim As'ary. Increase enthusiastic learners, enhance creativity and imagination of students, results of using the media image is very good. Learners' achievements can be increased more than if not using the media. (3) the constraints faced in the use of media images in writing skills poetry Islamic Elementary School Nurul Jadid, State Islamic Elementary School Kolomayan, and Islamic Elementary School Hashim As'ary prepare the medium, time constraints usage, the image must be in accordance with the theme of the picture, no Wi-Fi or internet, elections words (diction).

This study aims to improve the narrative writing skills of Class V students through the use of video media. This study is action research conducted at SDN Malaka Jaya 07 Pagi East Jakarta. The subjects of the study were Class V students, amounting to 31 students. The research was divided into two cycles (after the pre-cycle), each cycle having two and three meetings. The data analysis technique was performed by using a qualitative descriptive technique. The success of this study is seen from two criteria, namely from the observation sheet after applying video utilization and from the increasing results of narrative writing skills. The study results obtained from the use of video are to make students active in finding information and making writing and skilled at developing and utilizing their own knowledge. It is hoped that the improvement in the skills to write narration will be clearly seen in the initial cycle and increase in cycle 2 (Two). This can be seen from the initial percentage. Students who are not yet skilled or not enthusiastic/interested in writing narration by 49%, then the percentage of results in the first cycle (second meeting) is 40% and at the end of the second cycle, (third meeting) students who are not interested write only 11%. Overall at the end of the second cycle all aspects and criteria for narrative writing experienced a significant increase.

This study aims to determine the poetry writing skills of students in class V SDN 181 Pekanbaru based on aspects of theme, imagination, diction, and performance. Because of the lack of students 'poetry writing skills due to students' lack of skill in expressing ideas and thoughts. therefore by analyzing we can find out which aspects are not mastered by students. The study was conducted in class V odd semester of 2019. The sample in this study was saturated sampling. The assessment instrument used was a poetry writing skills test using a poetry writing assessment descriptor. The data obtained from poetry writing skills seen from 4 aspects, namely theme, imagination, diction and presentation, it can be concluded that the poetry writing skills of children who are categorized as highly skilled there are 5 (3.67%), then 9 (6.57%) skilled categories , and 103 (75.18%) were categorized as quite skilled, while students who were categorized as less skilled were 20 (14.60%) as a whole. Over all poetry writing skills class V SND 181 Pekanbaru obtain the average value of 64  categorized enough.

This research is a classroom action research. The purpose of the study was to improve student writing skills of narrative text in elementary school V 110 grade Pekanbaru using animated movies. Data collection techniques are observations and writing tests. Data analysis is quantitative and qualitative. On the initial data the average value is 63.42, where there are no student’s who get grades in the highly skilled category, and 3 students get grades in the skilled category. In cycle I the average value increased to 75.79, where 1 student get grades in the highly skilled category and 27 students get grades in the skilled category and the percentage of research success was 73.68%. In cycle II The average value also increased to 82.23, where 6 students get grades in the highly skilled category and 31 students get grades in the skilled category with a percentage of research success was 97.37%. So it can be concluded that the use of animation movies as media can improve the writing narrative text skill students of grade V SDN 110 Pekanbaru.

This research to find out if audio visual media to writing skills in grade V students Mi Miftahul Ulum The use of audio visual media has a very important role that is: can provide many benefits as long as teachers play an important role in the learning process, in the study more focused on learning Arabic language in class V MI Miftahul Ulum researchers use case studies of the influence of audio visual media in maharoh kitabah which currently uses audio visual as a learning medium, in use of course there is a very good influence and not in arabic language learning. And can be seen from the average value of maharoh kitabah using Audio Visual learning media in grade V, maximal values reached 90 while the average class V was 77.4 while based on thitung = 2,552and ttabel at ά= 5% and dF= 25 = 0.413 therefore t count ≥ t table this indicates that 2,552 ≥ 0.413.

The teacher must be able to present good language ethical learning. It considers that the teacher is not only a source of learning material but also as a role model for students. Therefore, this study was conducted to describe the teacher's writing skills. This study used a descriptive analytic approach using a questionnaire and portfolio documentation. The research sample consisted of 26 teachers in Bandar Lampung. Based on research data, the average value of writing skills was 74.12. Thus, it can be concluded that the language skills of elementary school teachers in Bandar Lampung City are categorized as good.
