This study examines the role of negotiation skills on conflict management through intermediation of communication effectiveness, using a saturated sample of 90 respondents and the research method using structural equation analysis and path analysis. The software used is SMART PLS 3.0. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between the role of negotiation skills on conflict management through effective communication intermediation. This role, either partially or simultaneously or through the intermediation process, is proven to have a positive and significant effect. So that if you see these facts, it is hoped that the management must continue to develop the negotiation skills of its employees and also contribute to building an effective communication role so that it will certainly help the conflict management process as an instrument for solving problems in the field.

Donations through social media or any online platforms are becoming a new trend these days, thanks to the use of emotional marketing through narrations and visual depictions showing the real condition of people who need supports. Organizations are led to raise people’s emotions to increase their intention to make donations. This study aims to examine the effect of emotional marketing on donation intention through social media platforms and people’s willingness to use technology (UTAUT). This is explanatory research was conducted through a survey on 365 respondents of Malang city who had seen a crowdfunding commercial of Kitabisa.com. The structural equation analysis has led to findings that emotional marketing significantly influences people’s donation intention, implying that the commercial is able to affect people’s emotion into empathy and willingness to make donations through the charity campaign. Furthermore, this study also finds that UTAUT has a significant effect on the intention. The findings are useful for Kitabisa.com in their effort to increase people’s donation intention through the use of emotional marketing.

Abstract The development of patterns of drug consumption among adolescents, strongly rooted in leisure habits, justifies current level of public alarm. In recent years, different risk and protection factors have been studied, and several theoretical models of drug consumption have been proposed. The aim of this paper is to explore some of them from adolescent’s perception as well as the influence of available money by the adolescents. Conducting interviews with 477 adolescents in Galicia among 14 and 18 years old and using structural equation analysis allows to present a simple explanation model of drug consumption among adolescents. The results serve to demonstrate the relevance of variables such as health orientation, attitudes towards drugs and to expose the role of available money, besides allowing a better understanding of the relationship between these variables.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of both institutional and interpersonal trust on innovation and deepens the analysis by exploring the mediating role of knowledge management (KM) practices in this relationship. Conceptually, this reflection leads to the proposal of a conceptual model summarizing the relationships between the research variables. This model was tested with 226 senior officials in companies operating in the information and communication technologies (ICT) Tunisian sector on the basis of a structured questionnaire. The collected data were treated by structural equation analysis using AMOS software. The results of the empirical study highlighted the significant relationship between interpersonal trust and innovation and confirmed that KM practices act as partial mediators in this relationship. Findings show also that institutional trust is not correlated to KM practices and to innovation.

The aim of this paper is to study the mediating role of work engagement between resilience and manager performance. For this purpose, a confirmatory survey was conducted among a sample of 96 employees occupying positions of responsibility within companies operating in the automobile sector in Tangier. A Structural equation analysis using the Partial Least Squares approach under SmartPLS was performed. For the analysis of mediation, we mobilized the method of Preacher and Hayes, (2008). The results of this research indicate, firstly, the resilience of the manager positively influences its commitment to work, which in turn influences his performance, and resilience has no influence on the performance of the manager. On the other hand, resilience can only influence the manager's performance through his commitment to work. The implications resulting from this research were also suggested.

The objective of the study was to examine the relationships between work-family interfase, job satisfaction and job performance in an Argentinian workers sample. A cross-sectional empirical study, based on explicative-associative strategy, was designed. An availability sample of 383 workers (195 male) from different kinds of organizations was conformed. Based on past evidence, it was hypothesized the mediator role of job satisfaction. Structural equation analysis showed that the indirect effects of work-family interfase dimensions (conflict and enrichment) on job performance through job satisfaction were statically significant, which indicated partial mediation. All variables explained 72% of job performance variance. Empirical findings and practical implications of the study are discussed.

Many authors examined the interplay between gender and conflict management preferences, but those findings were often mixed and inconsistent. In the current paper we tried to explain those inconsistencies by investigating the mediating role of personality for the relationship of gender and conflict management. Rahim's inventory was used for identifying five conflict management styles, and Big Five Model theory was a base for assessing participants' personality traits. Data were collected from a sample of 1,055 working Poles (52.7% women), in an online survey. Based on the structural equation modeling we detected multiple indirect mediating paths of gender on conflict management via personality traits, while no direct effect of gender was observed. Despite some limitations, the study sheds light on the actual role of gender in conflict behavior and the importance of personality traits in the conflict management, both from a theoretical and practical perspective.
