Yacht and boat manufacturing industry is a sector that has a great added value, can provide employment and has a high export rate. This industry machinery, iron-steel, wood, paint, chemistry, electricity-electronics, textile, decoration, rubber-plastic etc. It is an industry branch that produces as a result of combining the products of many industrial branches in shipyards and receives service from various service sectors. In the world rankings, Turkey has shown a steady rise since 2007, especially in the construction of superyachts (24 m and above), and continued to be the third in total length in 2010 - 2017. Educational institutions that train personnel for the yacht building sector in our country are only at the level of vocational high schools. Students who graduate after high school cannot continue an education on yacht building, which is a continuation of high school education in vocational college or faculty programs. The results and suggestions to come out of this study are very important in order to maintain the success of the sector in the international platform and to move it to better points. Attention will be drawn to the training on Yacht Building and opinions will be taken about the necessity of the training, its problems and the dimension of the university. Within the scope of the study, the

Background. Entrepreneurship courses are ubiquitous across educational institutions. While pedagogical innovations are being experimented with, using games to teach the nuances of starting up are rare. Problem. A practice-oriented subject like entrepreneurship is difficult to be taught using traditional methods. The elusive nature of the subject (entrepreneurship), its actors (entrepreneurs) and their actions (entrepreneurial) only make it worse. Approach. UDAN (means ‘Flight’ in Hindi) is a game, which solves this challenge. It simulates every aspect of the startup process in an entrepreneur’s journey. While running the game brings energy and enthusiasm amongst participants, it exposes them to the harsh realities, challenges and thrills of creating and running a startup. The Game. Participants are grouped into teams representing startups in an airplane manufacturing industry. Every team selects various key people for roles like CEO, HR, Sales, Finance, workforce etc. There are both government buyers as well as private airlines of different sizes making purchases. Buying raw materials, managing teams and their outputs, marketing, selling airplanes, negotiating prices, signing contracts, raising invoices, collecting payments, meeting quality standards and customer expectations are some experiences the game offers. Selecting a name, registering company with the local authorities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and filing returns are the other organizational activities that get simulated. Number of market and regulatory surprises are thrown in to expose participants to the realities of the business world. A debrief summarizes the lessons that the game offers. Practical Implications. Being an entrepreneur requires one to come to terms with numerous aspects of starting and running an enterprise. It does not entail doing only what you love doing. Entrepreneurship is a socially involved practice. The game gives participants a peek into the varied nuances of running a startup. It highlights the need for exposing themselves to number of aspects of starting and managing an enterprise. It prepares the ground for the faculty to deliver a course on entrepreneurship. Participants will be able to appreciate the variety of tools and techniques that a good entrepreneurship course offers.

The current significant progress has been experienced by the publication of Information media, one of which is the scoring system. In measuring the ability of students or students in learning outcomes during the learning process assessment system is very important in an educational institution both high school and college. Universitas Raharja is one of the educational institutions that have implemented the assessment system (PEN +) online, which provides services to the lecturers of the University of Raharja in the input of the value that can be accessed anywhere and Anytime. However, nowadays for the process of the input of the value of work lecture (CTF) that has been run by students is still done manually or not computerized because lecturers still have to come to the campus to fill out a list of student value lists Submitted to the RPU. This is very inefficient, because in the assessment system PEN + lecturers have not been able to input the value of work lecture (KKP) in real time. Therefore, there is a need for development in the Coursework Assessment System (CTF) where the value of the input form is Grade. In this study there were 10 (ten) literature studies on the assessment. Thus there are 2 (two) advantages that the lecturer does not need to come to the campus to fill the form that is then handed over to the RPU and notifications for a list of values that students receive will be faster.

This article describes the preferences of the teachers working in the No. 9 School at the High School Education System of the University of Guadalajara, with respect to the different ways of defining the quality of education. This research establishes a relationship between teachers’ adherence to the concepts of quality and their attitudes towards some central features of the Reform of High School Education (RIEMS). We use multiple linear regressions with some dummy variables and stepwise procedures. The conclusions suggest that the teacher´s adherence to certain concepts of quality favourably influences the attitudes of the teachers towards RIEMS and, therefore, facilitates the implementation of this reform.

The increase in Indonesia’s competitiveness ranking in 2018 is one indicator of improving the quality of industry and vocational education in Indonesia. However, the quality of the Indonesian workforce is still not good enough, even declining. The Dual System Education Program at the Vocational High School level is an important factor in solving unemployment problems and improving the quality and competitiveness of human resources in Indonesia. This study uses the correlation of the DSE cost index with the competitiveness index of the manufacturing industry in the provinces of Indonesia. The significant positive correlation between the two variables indicates that an increase in the budget for training and certification costs in Dual System Education in Vocational High Schools will increase business competitiveness in the manufacturing industry sector. In addition, this study also looks at the correlation between the DSE cost index and the open unemployment rate for vocational high school graduates in East Java Province. Both variables show a negative correlation, but not significant. This means that the dual system education budget does not significantly affect the open unemployment rate for vocational high school graduates between districts/cities in East Java Province. Improvements in budget allocations, training, apprenticeship systems, certification, curriculum, and collaboration with the business world in the Dual System Education system (DSE) of Vocational High Schools in East Java Province are expected to be able to make vocational education graduates have competencies that are in line with market demand and are ready to work. work so as to increase the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry.

The present work is the result of a research carried out in the stage of High School education, in the area of Humanities and Social Sciences. The data show that, at this stage, in which High School students begin to decide on a study modality that allows them access to the university, there is a majority of students who decide on the Science modality, to the detriment of the others. As a response to this situation, we have designed a tool that allows teachers in this area and this stage to transmit, in a more effective way, the practical and useful dimension of social and humanistic knowledge: The Humanities and Social Sciences laboratory. This experience, which is better known in the university field, is hardly used in secondary education. We offer the design of what could be a practical-didactic experience for this area and for its curricular contents.

From 1969-1996, in the Sioux Lookout Zone of Northwestern Ontario, there were no local high schools, and teenagers travelled to boarding schools in larger communities further south. During these years, the University of Toronto coordinated medical services in the Sioux Lookout Zone, and many documents in the University of Toronto Archives capture the challenges faced by adolescents from the Zone while pursuing a high school education. In this paper, I use Indigenous voices in the records of the Sioux Lookout Zone Hospital to study the experience of going to high school from the perspective of the Social Determinants of Health. I argue that the poor quality of on-reserve elementary schools and the isolation of leaving home for high school combined with less time to learn traditional skills to set students up for failure in their academic studies.

The problems of image are now becoming a strategic management concern for higher educational institutions since they affect the level of satisfaction and loyalty of all parties interacting with the institutions. Efficient image management can be critical to the survival and success of an organization in the context of government funding reduction and a highly competitive environment. The article analyzes the results of a survey on the Anketolog.ru platform which involved 52 respondents and was aimed at collecting the expert commentaries of potential employers engaged as tutors in the educational process at Baikal State University (BSU). The survey revealed assessments of the quality of training provided by the system of higher education, assessment of the current BSU’s graduates employment efficiency, as well as the level of BSU’s graduates’ satisfaction with the quality of their training and skill level. The «word cloud» method enabled the authors to determine what skills (competencies) obtained by the graduates the potential employers consider the most important, and to find the right wording for them and for the relevant courses to be included in the academic programs. Therefore, the analysis of the survey results provided the data on the demand for specialists trained at the university and the requirements for their skills and characteristics expected by potential employers, which helps to determine possible strategic prospects for BSU’s cooperation with potential employers in the 5-year period to come. Though the results of the study are of a practical value for Baikal State University, they might be useful for any university to build up its image.

Problem. The problem for Ukrainian universities is the annual enrollment of students in the amount that allows the university to exist and fulfill its purpose. In the conditions of a significant decrease in the number of graduates in our country and an increase in the number of higher educational institutions, the competition among universities for entrants has sharply increased. Goal. It is necessary to create an information system to inform high school students throughout Ukraine about the existence of the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, its specialties, opportunities, advantages, etc. Perhaps the consequence of such widespread information will be an increase in the number of applicants at our university. Methodology. When developing an information system for fast automatic sending of messages to many thousands of addresses of educational institutions of Ukraine of the III level of accreditation, it was impossible to rely on existing analogues, because such were not found in the information space. We used the method of synthesis of information systems on the technical task. Results. An information system has been developed for fast sending of messages to ten thousand addresses of educational institutions of the III level of accreditation. The developed information system searches for the corresponding addresses on the Internet and enters them into the computer database. The basis of the developed system is the database "Graduate of Ukraine", which contains the necessary information about almost all educational institutions with III level of accreditation. The algorithm of work of the developed information system and a kind of the interface of a software complex are resulted. In addition, many results of the system are presented: the created tables with data on educational institutions, the developed inquiries and reports, e-mails with invitations to the Open Doors Day. Originality. The developed system is an original development in Ukraine. No mention was found of an information system that creates and generates database tables and then uses them for programmed actions. Practical value. The developed information system is already used to provide students of graduation and other classes of all educational institutions of Ukraine of the III level of accreditation with information about our university; regarding the specialties offered by the university and the corresponding professions; regarding open days, preparatory courses and much more.
