This paper looks at Values Education and its implications on Guidance and Counseling, as well as its recommendation for use in the Colleges of Education in Ghana. It considers the classification, methods, theoretical framework, advantages, and disadvantages of values education. The Psychoanalytic and behavioural theories were used to explain the link and effects of people’s past experiences and those of the present experiences. It further examines the values counsellors and counsellees are expected to develop and exhibit, and its implications on Guidance and Counseling services. Published books, articles, and personal observation during teaching and counseling services provided the main sources of information. The study brings to the fore the fact that values education serves as a preparatory ground for effective Guidance and Counseling Services to take place in educational institutions. It is therefore recommended that educators be exposed to values education and be encouraged to teach values that are associated with their courses. This is vital to lay a good foundation for counsellors and counsellees for effective counseling services to go on in the Colleges of Education in Ghana.

This study aims to describe the ethics of implementing online-based counseling using media and technology during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses literature review by collecting reading materials from various sources with readings, comparing theories and research results regarding the use of technology media in the implementation of counseling, which are then analyzed descriptively. The result of this literature review is that the implementation of guidance and counseling using media and technology provides advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are related to the convenience obtained by BK / Counselor teachers in pre, implementation and post implementation of BK activities related to administration or guidance and counseling services. While the disadvantages are regarding public trust regarding the competence of implementing online counseling and the limitations of the media in its implementation, so that the maximum application of ethics in the implementation of online counseling is needed in order to anticipate the losses incurred.

There is even a chairman of the foundation of education that says that seek learners is much more difficult than looking for a new teacher. Mananjemen student not only shaped data recording learners, but covers broader aspects yange operationally to assist the efforts of growth and development of learners through the process of education in schools. As a special service of learners includes guidance and counseling services, library services, a cafeteria service / kafetarian, health services, transformation services schools, service hostel, and services extracurricular, laboratory services, and security. A special service was held in the school with a view to facilitate the implementation of teaching in order to accomplish the goals of education in schools. Special service management is a process of providing services to the needs of learners to support learning activities for educational purposes can be achieved effectively and efficiently.

Online learning is one of education methods that uses internet access and technological devices as a medium of communication between teachers and students. The teacher can use online learning during a pandemic that requires students and teachers to do physical distancing or during the industrial revolution 4.0 that implements technology in various fields of life. Online learning has several advantages and disadvantages, especially concerning the student conditions and learning effectiveness. This research was a literature review of the teacher’s strategy to achieve successful online learning. Teachers need to develop strategies for successful online learning. Teachers can use audio-visual show to attract students' interests, not give too many assignments, and provide contextual tasks that are relevant to students’ daily life. Guidance and counseling teachers can carry out preventive services in collaboration with school principals and teachers to collect data of students who do not have access to technology devices. The teacher also could conduct online group discussions to increase students’ interaction and reduce boredom learning. Furthermore, the teacher could implement curative services through online counseling services to overcome problems in online learning.

Required three activities that form the main activity of the instructionalcurricularand administrative activities that support and supervision and guidance activities andother services for the welfare of students. These activities synergize with each other to jointlyachieve the goal. Paradigm Guidance and Counseling program (BK) is a developmental guidanceand counseling services as the specific services that facilitate the development of each student tobe able to achieve the developmental task in accordance with the period of development or levelof education. There are four components of the program BK BK basic services, responsiveservices, individual planning services and support systems. BK program components areimplemented via tail intervention strategies for the provision of services as well as supportingactivities with BK main objectives to students. Implementing programs in SD BK classroomteacher is in charge of implementing the guidance and counseling services in the classroomwhich they are responsible.Abstrak:Setiap lembaga pendidikan formal termasuk Sekolah Dasar (SD) bertujuan untukmenghasilkan individu mencapai perkembangan optimal sesuai dengan potensi, minat dan nilaiyang menjadi pandangan hidupnya. Paradigma programBimbingan dan Konseling (BK) perkembangan merupakan layanan bimbingan dan konselingsebagai layanan spesifik yang memfasilitasi perkembangan setiap siswa agar mampu mencapaitugas perkembangan sesuai dengan periode perkembangannya atau jenjang pendidikannya.Terdapat empat komponen program BK yakni layanan dasar BK, layanan responsif, layananperencanaan individual dan dukungan sistem. Komponen program BK tersebut dilaksanakanmelalaui strategi intervensi berupa pemberian layanan BK serta kegiatan pendukung dengansasaran pokok kepada siswa. This study aims to explain the code of ethics for online counseling by integrating information technology in guidance and counseling services. This research method is a literature study using secondary data sources collected through textbooks, e-books, scientific articles, websites, and other sources relevant to the research problem which are then analyzed descriptively. The result of this study is the rapid development of technology in various fields, which has an impact on the integration of the counseling process in the technology. Through technological intermediaries, counseling no longer has to be done face-to-face. Among the advantages and disadvantages of online counseling, the professional code of ethics for counselors still needs to be maintained. One form of supervision is supervision. Counselors, both online and face-to-face counseling, are required to improve their ability to deal with counselee problems in accordance with the provisions of Permendikbud No. 111 of 2014.

The problem of developing effective educational technologies in the format of distance learning remains one of the most urgent for the world education system. The main initiator of the updating of online educational platforms was the COVID-19 pandemic, which revealed the problems of the transition of all educational institutions to the online mode. The research problem lies in the need to develop an effective pedagogical technology of distance learning as a factor in increasing the efficiency of the educational process. The purpose of the research is to present the experience of distance learning as a factor in increasing the efficiency of the educational process. The research objectives are to clarify the concept of «distance learning»; to reveal the concept of distance learning; describe the experience of using Moodle and Microsoft Teams online learning platforms; to identify the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning in modern educational practice. The research methodology and methods. The sources of information are scientific articles on the research topic, information from official sites. Methods used are analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization. The research results. The prerequisites for the popularization of distance learning in the modern practice of educational institutions have been substantiated; the experience of distance learning using the example of testing Moodle and Microsoft Teams online platforms has been described; the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning in modern educational practice have been identified. Key findings: distance learning is based on the use of a digital educational environment (information and communication resources); the concept of distance learning provides for three types of distance learning: synchronous, asynchronous and blended; Moodle and Microsoft Teams online platforms are optimal for distance learning.

Parent's attention and the general public attention toward children development tend to be more directed to cognitive aspect and psychomotor aspect. It is also suspected to occur to the educators and managers of educational institutions especially in the formal school. School as a place to prepare children to live better in the future presents the materials/subjects that emphasizes on the children's cognitive development. In fact, to live does not merely depend on academic intelligence. Moreover, the emotional side of an individual can even hold a more dominant role than academic intelligence. In line with the school's objective to develop the student's competencies from various aspects, it needs to realize that there are some psychological sides that should also be developed in the classroom learning process, such as self-control, achievement needs and mastership, and self esteem. Talking about self-esteem, almost all psychologists believe that it affects someone's behavior which would also influence his presence in social environment. Self esteem is not formed solely from heredity, but is also influenced by the environment or the self system beyond. Generally, changing the behavior of students can be empowered by educational sectors, in which the guidance and counseling services are parts of the education. By providing guidance group service using the technique of suggestion can improve the students' self esteem. The importance of the techniques of suggestion in guidance services need to be accompanied by a monitoring counselor in the school, so that it is really programmed to be able to increase the students' self-esteem.

This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence of female students who wear the full face veil. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The sampling technique was carried out with a total sampling of 38 students who wore the veil from several universities in Indonesia. The research instrument uses a Likert-shaped Emotional Intelligence Scale owned by Dika Sahputra. Questionnaires are distributed online through the Google Forms application from November 2019 to January 2020. The results showed that in general the emotional intelligence of students who wore the full face veil was in the high category. These results can be used as a basis for making programs for guidance and counseling services in tertiary institutions, as well as being the basis for policy making for university leaders and the government towards female students and women who use the full face veil
