The cultural heritage is a potential resource for ensuring quality of human life and sustainable development. The urban environment, in which we live, is not frozen, it is constantly developing. Each time it leaves footprints in the space that can enrich or downgrade its architecturally compositional expression. The environment is constantly changing due to human ambitions, errors and actions. For the preservation of cultural space and development, interdisciplinary cooperation and understanding is required. Identity maintenance of the urban space of Bauska is mainly associated with identification, restoration and preservation of cultural and historical sites as well as care and protection of the landscape space specific to this site. Under the impact of the green cover of the river bank it is visually hard to see the place of rapids. This also applies to the balanced green area in the town's historical centre.

The permeability of all spheres of both economic activity and human life with digital technologies encourages the search for new marketing ideas necessary for the implementation of the product (goods, works and services).  Today's consumer has become more demanding both to the product itself and to the ways of presenting it.  Immersive technologies are becoming one of the tools that contribute to the formation of competitive advantages, especially the organization of business in the field of entertainment, as one of the areas of additional income in the field of hotel and restaurant services and marketing activities of enterprises.  Digital transformation leads to the search for new initiatives that will be a tool to meet customer needs and a way to reach wider market segments.  The process of digitalization must first be integrated into the economy of the whole state and the enterprise as a whole, and in all processes of production of goods, works and services.  Digital-transformation of domestic enterprises will help to obtain additional competitive advantages both in the domestic market and in the international market.  The formation of competitive advantages is associated not only with the maximum involvement of digital technologies in business.  It is important to choose such technologies that will be most effective in the implementation of a particular type of enterprise, under certain conditions and in a particular environment. The expediency of using immersive technologies as a marketing tool is undeniable.  However, in addition to tools, immersive technologies are important as a means of education, a separate milestone in the field of entertainment, a means of psychological influence and more.  That is, the impact of this tool on the level of competitiveness of the enterprise in the environment of the demanding consumer is manifested: in the form of reducing the cost of attracting the client; active covert promotion through their use; improving the quality of the presented product (goods, works, services); ensuring the elasticity of the enterprise to the needs and requirements of consumers; the transition of the enterprise to an innovative type of development and active digitalization.

Recently, housing construction in cities has been carried out at a high rate. Increasingly, urban abandoned and flooded depressive spaces near water bodies (often rivers), which were previously used as industrial facilities or temporarily used, are becoming the sphere of architectural and landscape transformations. The restoration of such territories helps to improve the quality of urban space and improve its ecological properties. Correct development of territories near rivers and various water bodies has a great health-improving effect on the urban environment, improves its natural and climatic conditions. In addition, social and economic factors play an important role in this process, since such transformed territories and territories adjacent to them significantly increase investment attractiveness. This paper examines modern approaches to the development of urban public spaces, based on the formation of architectural environments that ensure the relationship of urban development with water bodies and adjacent territories. The paper notes that water bodies are not only an important component of the natural-ecological framework, but are also the basis for the framework of urban-planning natural-technogenic systems as a whole. And the creation of a continuous urban fabric is impossible without the organization of a ‘water’ line of development, provision of compositional, functional and communication interconnection of open urban and water spaces, which is actively being introduced today in architectural and urban planning practice. The paper examines the role of water bodies in the ecological system of the city, as well as in its structure as a whole. The aim of the study is to identify the features of the formation of a public urban space, to determine the patterns of its development, to identify criteria that reflect the nature, scale and features of the impact of urbanization on a water body. Some principles of revitalization of coastal areas, as well as the creation of a system of publicly accessible, compositionally expressive spaces are considered. The principles of space transformation aimed at the formation of a holistic image of the city, as well as the impact of such a spatial arrangement of urban and water bodies on the safety and quality of the urban environment are considered.

Caring is a complex and multidimensional concept. The quality of interaction in patient care encounters is affected by philosophical beliefs that shape practice design, delivery, and structural aspects of the practice environment. Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing operates two nurse-managed centers that address diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease care; these play a critical role in the reduction of cost of care. In this article, we demonstrate the impact of following a caring philosophy in our centers through intersubjective, interobjective, interior and exterior individual, and collective measures. A philosophy of caring in action allows these centers to become places where the beauty and mystery of the human life experience is lived, studied, and researched.

The dynamic nature of changes in the conditions of existence and functioning of modern communities requires comprehensive and integrated research in order to develop a reference architecture of human ecology, as a system of scientifically substantiated criteria for a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the impact of the external environment on various aspects of human life and the formation of a balanced strategy for managing social development. The paper presents one of the approaches to the design of the reference architecture of human ecology based on the methodology of the function oriented modelling and provides examples of models developed in accordance with the IDEF0 notation. The study identified the main stages in the design of the reference architecture of human ecology from collecting information to developing software that makes it possible to automate the processing of input information characterizing various factors affecting the quality of life of the population to developing the architecture of human ecology in a particular region or city and comparing it with the reference one.

The aim of this paper is to assess the relationship between the price of accommodation and the urban space and character of the place. The price and spatial connections (together with the quality of the provided services) become an important motive for clients when choosing a concrete accommodation establishment. As the competition is very difficult in the field of accommodation establishments and the supply multiply surpasses the demand, there is an intensive search for miscellaneous strategies of engaging in the competition. The built-up territory of the town České Budějovice was chosen as a model territory. The prices of the summer season 2012 have been entered into the analysis. The impact of the location was assessed on the level of the type of land-use. The distribution of the accommodation establishments in the studied is highly uneven, without any more significant tendency to the creation of the spatial clusters. It is fundamentally influenced especially by the distance of the historical center. A price map was formed identifying the zones with the above-average prices, as well as the zones with the highly below-average prices.
