The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged many educational institutions around the world in 2020 and 2021 as traditional education has been interrupted to prevent the spread of the virus. This forced the transition from traditional education to fully distance learning envi-ronments for all levels of education. The widespread adoption of distance learning has led instructors to form new digital learning environments and methods. In response to this unexpected situation, data regarding engineering students and their interaction with the learning environment was accumulated and processed, generating a matrix of 129 × 165 variables. The motivation for this research is to identify new variables that impact student performance during the disorientation of the educational process due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Statistical analysis was performed and discussed in this paper including correla-tion analysis, factor analysis, and clustering. Reliability analysis was also performed and ANOVA (analysis of variance) was applied to clusters. The novelty of this work is to use student performance data and statistical analysis of online surveys to reveal patterns that can help reduce dropout rates and transform the educational process, under extenuating and imposed distance learning circumstances. A major finding is that by applying innovative teaching methods, thereby meeting the challenge of an imposed distance learning environ-ment, students' spatial conceptions improve, overcoming the absence of a physical learning space. Deep insights for individual students were discovered, as well as significant relation-ships between students' transition from secondary to higher education and their understand-ing of geometric features. Evidence of the effectiveness of the online learning framework that was integrated showed that it positively influenced students' learning styles.

In the second decade of the XXI century, the introduction of electronic and digital devices in all links of public relations reached an outstanding scale, which was also noted in the educational process of higher education institutions. The development of the modern educational environment of the university is impossible without the use of digital learning tools (CSOs) such as: distance learning platforms (EQUITY MAPS, GOOGLE CLASSROOM, MOODLE), mobile digital applications (CLASTIME, LEARNINGAPPS, QUIZIZZ) and online communication platforms (GOOGLE MEET, ZOOM, WEBEX). A special place in the context of the introduction of CSR belongs to medical education, where the level of personal training of the applicant (theoretical and practical) is very important in the context of saving human lives. Digital learning tools allow you to use the features of a modern applicant with his constant stay in the digital space for the purpose of training before the introduction of restrictive measures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The educational process should not stop, and applicants should receive a high-quality education, but it is necessary to maintain a balance between classroom and distance forms of knowledge and skills transfer. The educational technology of mixed learning can come to the aid of participants in the educational process. This training technology is quite new and dynamically developing, it is indispensable for full-time training. This educational technology of providing educational services combines the best aspects and advantages of teaching in the classroom and interactive or distance learning, creates accessible courses for educational applicants, in which the educational process is a system, consists of different parts that function in constant interrelation with each other, forming an integral educational environment of the university.

AbstractIntroduction:Colleges and universities are experiencing increasing demand for online courses in many healthcare disciplines, including emergency medical services (EMS). Development and implementation of online paramedic courses with the quality of education experienced in the traditional classroom setting is essential in order to maintain the integrity of the educational process. Currently, there is conflicting evidence of whether a significant difference exists in student performance between online and traditional nursing and allied health courses. However, there are no published investigations of the effectiveness of online learning by paramedic students.Hypothesis:Performance of paramedic students enrolled in an online, undergraduate, research methods course is equivalent to the performance of students enrolled in the same course provided in a traditional, classroom environment. Methods:Academic performance, learning styles, and course satisfaction surveys were compared between two groups of students. The course content was identical for both courses and taught by the same instructor during the same semester. The primary difference between the traditional course and the online course was the method of lecture delivery. Lectures for the on-campus students were provided live in a traditional classroom setting using PowerPoint slides. Lectures for the online students were provided using the same PowerPoint slides with prerecorded streaming audio and video. Results:A convenience sample of 23 online and 10 traditional students participated in this study. With the exception of two learning domains, the two groups of students exhibited similar learning styles as assessed using the Grasha-Riechmann Student Learning Style Scales instrument. The online students scored significantly lower in the competitive and dependent dimensions than did the on-campus students. Academic performance was similar between the two groups. The online students devoted slightly more time to the course than did the campus students, although this difference did not reach statistical significance. In general, the online students believed the online audio lectures were more effective than the traditional live lectures. Conclusion:Distance learning technology appears to be an effective mechanism for extending didactic paramedic education off-campus, and may be beneficial particularly to areas that lack paramedic training programs or adequate numbers of qualified instructors.

The algorithm of formation of a personal learning environment (PLE) and learning group environment for the organization of electronic distance learning in medical higher education institutions is offered. It was noted that the introduction of the COVID-19 quarantine raised the issue of reorganization of the learning space and accelerated the process of introducing the distance learning model. The experience gained by the authors during quarantine made it possible to form the stages of deploying the learning environment in the medical higher education institution and to define the educational space of the group as the main element of this environment. The main technological steps of creating subsystems of the educational space of the university for using cloud services MSO365 were considered using the example of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University. The conditions that allow creating a hierarchy of the learning environment were defined, namely: a project of the structure of the learning environment with the coordination of departments; registration of all participants of the learning process and creation of their accounts in Active Directory of the university; automated procedure of transferring group members to AD MSO365. The paper provides an example of a hierarchy of names, which is a reflection of the structure of university departments in terms of staffing and determines the rights of access to the usage of services that ensure the implementation of the corresponding functions. The authors found that the user account is the first integrating service that allows the user to form a personal learning environment using OneDrive, web-site MS SharePoint, MS Forms and other office applications. It was noted that the user account is the lowest level of the hierarchy of the learning environment, the usage of which provides a learning space for groups. According to the authors, it is reasonable to use MS Groups to form academic groups. Using MS Teams, a teacher gets a flexible tool to form a learning environment for various organizational forms, namely: lectures, seminars, practical classes, independent work, etc. The authors proposed rules for forming group names in MS Groups and MS Teams. They presented an algorithm for deploying the department's learning environment and proposed a suggestion of structuring the subject's learning environment using MS Teams channels for a small number of groups in the department.

The modern education system in most countries is built on providing equitable education opportunities to all people, regardless of the limitations they have. There are no significant problems in primary and secondary inclusive education, while most traditional higher education models are not sufficiently adapted to the needs of people with learning disabilities. Thus, it has been replaced by a blended learning model built on new digital learning environments in recent years. The aim of the article is to study the blended learning environment of inclusive educa-tion systems in China and Russia. The article presents the findings of a “The Global Learner Survey”, conducted on behalf of Pearson in May 2019 by The Harris Poll. The survey involved over 11,000 learners aged 16-70 across nine-teen countries. Additionally, statistics on the higher education development in Russia and China were used. The analysis of the current state of higher education in Russia and China, as well as the development of a blended learning environ-ment, shows the positive effect as that it allows students with limited educational opportunities to integrate into the educational and public life of the university and implement all types of rehabilitation along with the educational process.
