This study aims to uncover and describe the transformation of the meaning of learning at the millennial generation mindset. The research approach used is a qualitative research method through a naturalistic phenomenological design. The research subjects consisted of 80 students at the State University which consisted of 3 groups of students from 7 faculties whose average age was 19-24 years: 1) active in student organizations (Ormawa), 2) active in Student Activity Units (UKM) ), and 3) students who are not active at all only attend lecture activities. The data comes from the results of interviews and observations that are analyzed through the stages of synthesis and selection of data, data display, data verification and conclusion, then tested its reliability through cross-checking data sources, comparison of results of literature review, extension of research time, academic feasibility audits through experts, and confirmation to the data source about the accuracy of the meaning of information. The results of this study provide an understanding that there is a transformation of the meaning of learning in the mindset of the millennial generation which is based on changes in students' self as learners and the learning transformation environment in higher education that can support changes in learning outcomes. Changes in students' self as learners in the form of: 1) Self Change, Self Experience, Creativity, motivation, orientation, maturation. A learning transformation environment in higher education that can support changes in learning outcomes, in the form of: 1) Innovation, 2) technology-based, 3) creative and 4) positive condition

The problem behind this research is service-learning usefulness as a strategy to promote global citizenship at universities in Indonesia. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative type of phenomenology. The research subjects were students involved in the Student Executive Board or Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) organization from eight different campuses in the Special Region of Yogyakarta or Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). The research results show two findings, 1) service-learning in student organizations can promote global citizenship values, and 2) service-learning in student organizations can improve industrial skills. Thus, this study concluded that student organizations in higher education could be a place to promote global citizenship and improve industrial revolution 4.0 skills among students. Therefore, the recommendation in this study is for further researchers to research by emphasizing learning outcomes that focus on the level of numbers and readiness to face the industrial revolution, which includes the ability to adopt values ​​and nature as Indonesian people and as citizens of the world.

The current covid-19 pandemic has an impact on Capita Selecta Chemistry lectures. The difficulty of face-to-face learning in class makes lecturers have to be able to find solutions to these problems. One of the solutions used is the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by the WhatsApp Group (WAG) application and face-to-face through the zoom meeting application.This research is a research pre-experimental research with one-group pretest posttest design, experiments conducted in one class without a comparison class. The research was conducted at a State University in Bengkulu. With the research subjects as many as 24 students who took capita selecta Chemistry course. The instruments used in this study are learning outcomes tests and response questionnaires towards applications that used in learning. Data analysis techniques include average value, normality test, and hypothesis testing using the t-test using SPPS computer program for windows version 23. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes with the implementation of  PjBL model assisted by WhatsApp and Zoom applications with  pretest scores of 66.042, postest scores of 84.625 and the N-gain value data obtained was 0.547 in the moderate category. Student’s response toward the use of  WAG and Zoom Meeting applications was very positive. As many as 91.67% of students considered that WAG application was a very practical application and it was easily accessible to students, especially access to learning materials. The use of zoom meeting according to 70% of students is also very interactive and can replace face-to-face meetings. Keywords: PjBL Model, WhatsApp, Zoom Meeting, Learning Outcomes, Capita Selecta

The relationship between higher education and the world of work is complex and often characterized by a great deal of misperception, underscored by the recent press for accountability purportedly in response to reports of public dissatisfaction with the lack of transparency in institutions of higher education. This chapter explores the complex relationship between learning outcomes assessment, employer expectations, and traditional and emerging pedagogies. An approach used at Washington State University that uses assessment and technology as levers to help students and faculty bridge the real and the perceptual divide between learning in school and learning in the world of work is presented.

<p>Teaching and learning in Contemporary Higher Education is experiencing a change of paradigm in the approach used for curriculum design and instruction. This paper examines the application of democratisation of teaching and learning as a crucial tool for the implementation of the Tuning Approach in the teaching and learning processes in higher education. A qualitative research approach was used to collect information from two institutions of higher learning in Botswana. Findings from the study indicate, that, there are democratic elements in the teaching and learning processes as evidenced by the use of the learning –outcomes approach in lesson planning by the lecturers, and in the various ways students are engaged in teaching and learning processes. However, the study revealed that students are not fully involved in planning curriculum and workload.</p>

This study aims to determine the quality of the process, the quality of results and the improvement of learning to write fables using picture and picture learning model. The problem of the research arose when the researcher interviewed Indonesian teachers in class VII-A of the GLOBAL PRIMA NATIONAL PLUS SCHOOL Middle School that the student's learning outcomes were still low 75 and still not reached the minimum completeness criteria. To answer the problems of the research, researchers conducted research using picture and picture learning models in improving student writing learning. The researcher used an action classroom research approach and used data collection methods by means of observation and tests. The research instrument consists of guidelines for observing observations for both students and researchers and guidelines for evaluating student work in writing fable stories. The research subjects (respondents) were the GLOBAL PRIMA NATIONAL PLUS SCHOOL. The data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the methodology of the research, result of the research were obtaineda) Cycle I (one) with classical completeness quality process 74.07%, quality of result 59.25% and the quality of researchers using 45% learning models, b) Cycle II (two) with quality process classical completeness 88.88%, quality of results 92.59% and the quality of researchers using the learning model to be 100%. There is an increase in learning, namely an increase in process and student learning outcomes from cycle I, 59.25% to cycle II being 92.59%, with a increase percentage of 33.34%. Therefore the model of picture and picture learning model can help improve the learning process so that learning objectives are maximized.

The purpose of this study is to find out a learning model using a game-based tennis backhand skill model. The method used is  Research & Development with mixed methods research approach that combines qualitative and quantitative methods. It is intended to be able to reach or process all data or information so that a comprehensive explanation will be obtained. The number of samples as many as 20 respondents.  The steps taken in the trial include: (1) establishing a group of research subjects (2) Carrying out Pretest (3) trying the model that has been developed (4) carrying out  post-test  (5) looking for the average score of pretest  and  posttest and compared between the two (6) looking for the differences between the two averages through statistical methods (t-test) to find out whether or not there is a significant influence of the use of the model.  The conclusion of this study is that  game-based tennis  backhand  learning model can be developed and applied in the process of learning backhand  techniques of tennis effectively and efficiently.

Electronic modules have an important role because they can help the learning process of students. The problems obtained can be seen from the motivation and learning outcomes that cannot be said to be optimal, one of the causes is the lack of learning media used. With the use of electronic modules, abstract material can be concreted and make students interested and motivated in learning and can improve learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the electronic module on cognitive learning outcomes on social change material in the Education package C program. The research approach used was a quantitative approach. The type of research used is Pre-Experimental. The design used in this research is One Group Pretest-Posttest. The research subjects were students of class XII package C program, totaling 38 students with 17 males and 21 females. Methods of data collection by observation, interviews, and tests. The instrumentes used are in the form of an objective test with a total of 10 items. The analysis of improving learning outcomes was analyzed using the N-Gain formula. N-Gain is used to calculate the increase in learning outcomes. Based on the N-gain analysis, student learning outcomes show a value of 0.60 in the medium category and the value of the effectiveness of N-gain in percent is 60 with an effective enough category. So learning by using electronic modules can improve student learning outcomes.

This study aims to determine the level of practicality, effectiveness, and influence of the application of learning media based on Augmented Reality (AR) in the Computer Network Installation course using a mobile application called AR_JARKOM_INFORMATIKA_UNP. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with research subjects, namely students in class 2F3 and 2F4 of the Informatics Engineering Education Department of Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University who attended the Computer Network Installation lectures for the January-June 2020 semester. The results of this study indicate that AR-based learning media has a practicality level of 88.40% with a very practical category, then in the effective category based on the post-test score of the experimental class (2F3) which is 73.16 which is higher than the control class (2F4) which is 69.25 and provides 33.6% contribution to the learning outcomes of Computer Network Installation based on the r square value of 0.336. So it can be concluded that AR-based learning media has a good level of practicality, effectiveness and influence to be used in the learning process of Computer Network Installation.

AbstrakLatar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar matematika peserta didik terhadap pokok bahasan garis singgung lingkaran di SMP Al-Islam Benteng Tellue. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pokok bahasan garis singgung lingkaran. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif yang dipadukan dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu sebanyak 10 orang peserta didik di kelas VIII SMP Al-Islam Benteng Tellue. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pokok bahasan garis singgung lingkaran yaitu kesulitan pemahaman maksud soal yang tergolong rendah; kesulitan pemahaman konsep yang tergolong tinggi; kesulitan proses perhitungan yang tergolong rendah. AbstractThe background of this research is the low achievement of students' mathematics learning outcomes on the subject of circle tangent at SMP Al-Islam Benteng Tellue. This study aims to determine the difficulties experienced by students in solving the tangents to circles. The research approach used is a qualitative approach combined with a descriptive type of research. The research subjects were 10 students in class VIII SMP Al-Islam Benteng Tellue. Data was collected using the test and interview methods. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study indicate that the difficulties experienced by students in solving the questions of the tangent line of the circle are the difficulties in understanding the meaning of the questions are classified as low; the difficulty of understanding the concept is high; the difficulty of the calculation process is low.

This study aims to improve teacher performance in implementing thematic learning through academic supervision at SD Negeri Batuagung 02, Balapulang District, Tegal Regency. The research approach used was School Action Research (SAR). The research subjects were 4 teachers in class IA, IB, IVA, and IVB. Data collection techniques with observation and interview sheets. The data analysis technique used comparative descriptive analysis. The results of school action research can be concluded that academic supervision can improve teacher performance in implementing learning at SD Negeri Batuagung 02, Balapulang District, Tegal Regency. The resulting impact of increasing teacher performance concerns aspects of the implementation of learning. From the learning aspect, after being given action by the principal through qualitative academic supervision, the implementation of learning increased from the initial conditions to the first cycle of 0.60 and from the first cycle to the second cycle of 0.69. The learning outcomes of class IA students in cycle I increased by 4.53 compared to the initial condition, in cycle II increased by 5.38 compared to cycle I. The learning outcomes of class IB students in cycle I increased by 4.13 compared to the initial condition, in cycle II increased by 4.68 Compared to cycle I. The learning outcomes of class IV A students in the first cycle increased 1.94 compared to the initial conditions, in the second cycle increased 5.92. The learning outcomes of class IV B students in cycle I increased by 4.53 compared to the initial conditions, in cycle II increased by 5.38 compared to cycle I.
