Machines have emerged as intelligent players and are set to replace skilled practitioners in various fields. So, what would be a leader's contribution be if machines do the decision making? The chapter addresses this question by proposing that artificial intelligence will act as a catalyst enabling managers and leaders in the process of knowledge management. Further, the chapter aims to bring together the three constructs of leadership, artificial intelligence, and knowledge management and try to theoretically establish a relationship among them. The work is immensely relevant to the Indian context given the fact that at its current stage of development, artificial intelligence has the potential to add $957 billion to the country's economy by 2035. Thus, the chapter will emphasize the relationship between leadership and artificial intelligence and how it supports knowledge management in organizations and influences its everyday decision making.

The main objective of the chapter is to discuss the relationship between internet of things and knowledge management; knowledge management and open innovation; open innovation and SMEs sustainability. The relationship between the constructs developed and discuss on the behalf of past studies. The present chapter found that Internet of Things is playing an important role in knowledge generation and management, further, knowledge management is very important for open innovation environment in SMEs. Moreover, the open innovation sustains the SMEs performance. In respect of implications, the owner / managers of SMEs should consider the Internet of Things, knowledge management, and open innovation capabilities during the decision making for SME sustainability. Moreover, this is a process framework which brings the effect of one variable to other variables. However, the future studies should empirically validate the proposed research framework.

AbstractThe main goal of the study will be to pay attention to technologization of the learning process and its social dimensions in the context of artificial intelligence. The reflection will mainly cover selected theories of learning and knowledge management in the organization and its broadly understood environment. Considering the sociological dimensions of these phenomena is supposed to lead to the emphasis on the importance of the security of the human-organization-device relationship. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the issue, the article will include references to the concept of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Difficult questions will arise around the ideas and will become the conclusion of the considerations.

This paper is focused on providing a justification and rationale for the relationship between Knowledge Management (KM) theories, components of Information Technology (IT), and Decision-Making. A literature review is provided with the aim of examining the potential constructs associated with KM processes and components of IT in order to investigate potential aspects and factors pertaining to Decision-Making. In consideration to the findings garnered through the literature review, a research hypothetical framework was devised, combining the model characteristic constructs of the suggested model. In order to achieve framework validation, a survey was carried out across a total of 182 technical and administrative staff employed by various top and middle levels at a telecommunications organisation in Jordan—notably, Zain. Through the application of PLS Graph software coupled with the Structural Equation Model (SEM), an analysis was completed in consideration to the interrelationships inherent in those latent variables identified, comprising Decision-Making, IT components and KM processes. The findings garnered following the completion of the analysis suggest that there is an entirely mediating role in Knowledge Discovery and Knowledge Update. Furthermore, Knowledge-Sharing and Knowledge Application are, in part, mediating. In contrast, however, the relationship between IT components and Decision-Making are not mediated by Knowledge Capture and Knowledge Storage. This paper has been successful in filling the gap in the literature through garnering and highlighting further empirical evidence pertaining to the effects of KM processes on Decision-Making, with IT components positioned as a mediation construct.

AbstractThis study aims at proposing an AI-agent model that helps designers to understand and interpret clients’ intent and create customized design outcomes. We recorded and analysed the purchasing process of collecting product information, selecting alternative products and making decision to understand the influence of artefacts on the client's intent during the purchasing process and collect the basic data for proposing an AI-agent model. We analysed the process by Linkography and found the relationship between the decision-making patterns and the artefacts that presented by the AI-agent.
