To evaluate the compatibility quality of various H.264 codecs, and promote H.264 codec benign competition in the market, this paper proposes an objective evaluation method. Firstly, this method adopts video distributor, video capture card and other facilities to collect two-way videos, one of which is reference video, and the other is the video encoded and decoded respectively; Then it utilizes SSIM algorithm to find "the best similar frame" between the two videos in order to solve the problem of “Homologous Asynchronous”; Finally, it establishes codec compatibility matrix which can objectively evaluate codec compatibility quality using the proposed five indexes. Experiments show that the proposed method is simple, and can effectively evaluate codec compatibility quality. 

A study of people solving facility layout problems was made to estimate the effects of problem features on the quality of solutions obtained by novice and experienced subjects. An empirical experiment was conducted. Three features of these problems which were systematically varied in this study were: 1. Problem size, 2. Fraction of strong inter-departmental relationships, and 3. Fraction of departments requiring a non-standard amount of floor space. Both quantitative and subjective layout evaluations were made. It was found that layout quality was not affected by feature 3 for any values of the other features, using either evaluation method, and with either novice or experienced subjects. However, feature 2 proved to be significant for all experimental conditions, both evaluation methods, and with both subject groups. Feature 1 was a significant feature in some situations, but was not significant in others. Some differences in problem solving approaches were observed. There was a significant relationship between the design of higher quality layouts by experienced subjects and the use of a Relationship Diagram. Reducing the problem size and/or percentage of strong inter-departmental relationships in a problem may make a higher quality layout easier to achieve.

According to Mercier and Sperber (2009, 2011, 2017), people have an immediate and intuitive feeling about the strength of an argument. These intuitive evaluations are not captured by current evaluation methods of argument strength, yet they could be important to predict the extent to which people accept the claim supported by the argument. In an exploratory study, therefore, a newly developed intuitive evaluation method to assess argument strength was compared to an explicit argument strength evaluation method (the PAS scale; Zhao et al., 2011), on their ability to predict claim acceptance (predictive validity) and on their sensitivity to differences in the manipulated quality of arguments (construct validity). An experimental study showed that the explicit argument strength evaluation performed well on the two validity measures. The intuitive evaluation measure, on the other hand, was not found to be valid. Suggestions for other ways of constructing and testing intuitive evaluation measures are presented.

INTRODUCTION: Several digital games that aim at developing computational thinking in children have emerged in the last few years, as the importance of such ability is increasingly being recognized. Nevertheless, there are no appropriate methods to determine the quality of these games, which hinders their adoption in formal education settings. OBJECTIVES: The general goal of this research is to contribute to the development of a specific evaluation method for children's games that involve computational thinking. In this sense, the specific objective of this paper is to identify which pedagogical and technical aspects of children's interaction with this type of game are proved relevant for developing computational thinking. METHODS: An analysis of two games based on the logic of programming was performed through empirical observation of children's exploratory interaction, in the light of heuristics for interface usability, consisting thus of a combination of formative and objective evaluation. RESULTS: Analysis showed that the game's environment for experimenting with programming commands and visualizing the consequent effects was not sufficient for effective guidance, revealing the need for a human mediator. The main aspects identified as needing improvement were the forms of instruction provided to the child; the design of visual representations of commands, which embed key logical concepts; the correspondence between children's context and expectations and the games' simulated world. CONCLUSION: Results point to directions for the creation of specific parameters and adapted heuristics for evaluation of games based on programming logic for children. In particular the main open question is how to design a game so that computational thinking concepts are implicit conditions to solve challenges, making the process engaging but above all leading to the construction of complex concepts such as parameterized commands.

Mystery shopping can be characterized as a marketing method used for anonymous and objective evaluation of the quality of provided services. The method helps the owner of the company, where the mystery shopping is applied, to gain better images of processes in the company, information about employee behavior towards customers, quality of provided services, environment, atmosphere, etc. It is realized by mystery shoppers who give the owner the information about used services gained by secret purchases. The aim of the paper is to examine the use of the mystery shopping method as a tool for evaluating the sales process in hospitality facilities. We research the use of mystery shopping from two points of view. On one hand, based on the structured interviews with managers of mystery shopping agencies and, on the other hand, based on structured interviews with managers of hospitality facilities that use mystery shopping method. All researched companies agreed on the statement that mystery shopping is very good primary impulse for changes in the company but ction devoted work of the management and all its employees is necessary.

The soy sauce samples established a model for its flavour quality evaluation. Initially, 39 types of flavour compounds, organic acids and free amino acids in six different types of soy sauce were identified and determined by HS-SPME GC/MS and HPLC. The model was developed based on the principal component analysis method for assessing and ranking of flavour quality of soy sauce. Using the principal component analysis which simplifies complex information, our correlative evaluation model was established, tested by comparing the traditional sensory evaluation method, providing a new methodology for objective evaluation of the flavour quality of soy sauce.

Hole surface quality in drilling carbon fiber-reinforced plastics and titanium alloy (CFRP-Ti) stacks is a key factor affecting high-quality assembly and reliable usage of the structure so it need be reasonably evaluated. However, there is no standardized evaluation system of hole surface quality in drilling CFRP-Ti stacks. The existing evaluation indexes cannot meet the evaluation requirements on the surface quality of the hole. This paper proposes a subjective-objective evaluation method to evaluate the surface quality of the hole in drilling CFRP-Ti stacks. Firstly, the evaluation factors are determined by experiments, including CFRP delamination, CFRP hole entrance tears, surface roughness of CFRP and Ti, and the evaluation system is established according to defect characteristics and industry standards. Secondly, the subjective evaluation model is established based on the improved analytic hierarchy process, the objective evaluation model is established based on the entropy weight method and the subjective and objective combination weight calculation method is obtained based on the principle of minimum discriminant information. Finally, the surface quality of the hole is evaluated by subjective, objective, subjective-objective evaluation methods respectively. The result shows that subjective-objective evaluation method is more reasonable and effective.

During the past investigations of immunoferritin localization of intracellular antigens in ultrathin frozen sections, we found that the degree of negative staining required to delineate u1trastructural details was often too dense for the recognition of ferritin particles. The quality of positive staining of ultrathin frozen sections, on the other hand, has generally been far inferior to that attainable in conventional plastic embedded sections, particularly in the definition of membranes. As we discussed before, a main cause of this difficulty seemed to be the vulnerability of frozen sections to the damaging effects of air-water surface tension at the time of drying of the sections.Indeed, we found that the quality of positive staining is greatly improved when positively stained frozen sections are protected against the effects of surface tension by embedding them in thin layers of mechanically stable materials at the time of drying (unpublished).

The accuracy and reliability is the quality of the information. The more accurate and reliable, the more information it’s good quality. Similarly, a survey, the better the survey, the more accurate the information provided. Implementation of student satisfaction measurement to the process of teaching and learning activities on the quality of the implementation of important lectures in order to get feedback on the assessed variables and for future repair. Likewise in Higher Education Prog has undertaken the process of measuring student satisfaction through a distributed questioner finally disemester each class lecture. However, the deployment process questioner is identified there are 7 (seven) problems. However, the problem can be resolved by the 3 (three) ways of solving problems one of which is a system of iLearning Survey (Isur), that is by providing an online survey to students that can be accessed anywhere and anytime. In the implementation shown a prototype of Isur itself. It can be concluded that the contribution Isur system can maximize the decision taken by the Higher Education Prog. By using this Isur system with questions and evaluation forms are submitted and given to the students and the other colleges. To assess the extent to which the campus has grown and how faculty performance in teaching students class, and can be used as a media Isur valid information for an assessment of activities throughout college.

The progress of the Islamic bank cannot be separated from the role of its customers who give trust to the bank to deposit their financial assets. It is a fact many groups of customers decide to be the customers of the Islamic bank because of their religiosity. The other influences factor of a customer’s decision is the quality of the product. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of product quality and level of customers’ religiosity towards customers’ decision whether to keep their funds in Syariah Mandiri Bank, Branch of Purwokerto, or not. The analytical tool used was multiple linear regression analysis, with a sample of 100 customers. The results indicate Y = 5,046 + 0,101X1 + 0,218X2. Based on F, it can be seen that both variables of product quality and religiosity simultanously affect the customers’ decision to keep theirfunds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto. Based on t test, it can be seen that independently, either variable of product quality or variables of religiosityinfluences the customers’ decision to keep their funds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto.
