In order to promote the development of crisis management in large-scale public buildings, to make solutions for the insufficient crisis management ,poor implementation and other issues. Crisis strategy evaluation system of large public buildings is proposed through the use of literature research and coding method from the perspective of their own. Three dimensions of 16 evaluations are proposed ,including basic security strategy, risk strategy of emergency response, recovery strategy in the hole life cycle of crisis management. In this section, the research and the calculation method are given, and to determine the index weight by expert investigation method. In order to make clear our strengths and weaknesses when facing emergencies through scientific and reasonable evaluation of current crisis management evaluation strategy. Such is so helpful to improve the theory of crisis management of large public buildings in the application and optimizing risk management, and so is to provid a more complete and effective decision basis for the crisis management strategy of large public buildings when facing emergencies.

PurposeThis paper aims to take Chinese university teachers as the research objects to examine their self-evaluation of online teaching and analyze the main factors influencing their evaluation during COVID-19.Design/methodology/approachAccording to the theory of educational ecology, the factors influencing teachers' self-evaluation of online teaching in this paper include university background, courses background and teachers' personal background from the macro- to micro-levels. Through exploratory factor analysis, independent sample T-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), the self-evaluation of online teaching of 13,997 teachers from 334 universities and their relationship with teachers' background have been subject to data statistics and analysis.FindingsTeachers' self-evaluation of online teaching mainly includes three dimensions: online teaching methods, online teacher–student interaction and online teaching techniques. There are significant differences in these three dimensions among teachers with different background characteristics, including regions, the types of universities, the nature of universities in macro background levels, the types and numbers of online courses in meso background levels, and the gender, years of teaching, professional titles and disciplines in micro background levels.Practical implicationsTo improve teachers' self-evaluation of online teaching, it is suggested to build an online teaching self-evaluation system for teachers, strengthen university support and guarantee, strengthen online teaching training and improve the information accomplishments of teachers.Originality/valueThis large-scale empirical survey of online teaching evaluation of Chinese teachers can provide scholars with a deeper understanding of the implementation of online teaching in China and the self-evaluation of online teaching by teachers.

The objective of the paper is to discuss the most crucial problem, related to “winding down” of the Russian Liberal Arts education due to its economic inefficiency. The methodology includes the descriptive scientific-research method, which involves the analysis of scientific sources, official provisions, mass-media publications and the students’ questionnaire. The authors came to the following conclusions: 1. The model of education, which is guided by the logic of economic growth, and not by the logic of human development, leads to a general dehumanization of education and society. 2. The process of education “dehumanizing” is manifested in the following destructive trends: pragmatic utility and convenience of gaining knowledge; the dominance of technical knowledge and the transfer of humanitarian disciplines into optional courses; the advance of online education; the imperfection of university lecturers’ ratings and their transformation into a bureaucratic evaluation system; new types of inequality in education. 3. In Russia, the above-mentioned trends are aggravated by the abnormal establishment of market economy; the verticalization of power and the lack of professionalism in university management; social sphere underfunding; the aggressive implementation of the Bologna system. 4. The current crisis in education is accompanied by the large-scale emigration of gifted students and lecturers. The authors recommend to consider the University as a classical “home” of formation, preservation and transfer of culture; online courses should be seen as a new format of teaching aids, as well as a technological tool for retraining and for people with disabilities.

Abstract Introduction Preparations of health systems to accommodate large number of severely ill COVID-19 patients in March/April 2020 has a significant impact on nuclear medicine departments. Materials and Methods A web-based questionnaire was designed to differentiate the impact of the pandemic on inpatient and outpatient nuclear medicine operations and on public versus private health systems, respectively. Questions were addressing the following issues: impact on nuclear medicine diagnostics and therapy, use of recommendations, personal protective equipment, and organizational adaptations. The survey was available for 6 days and closed on April 20, 2020. Results 113 complete responses were recorded. Nearly all participants (97 %) report a decline of nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures. The mean reduction in the last three weeks for PET/CT, scintigraphies of bone, myocardium, lung thyroid, sentinel lymph-node are –14.4 %, –47.2 %, –47.5 %, –40.7 %, –58.4 %, and –25.2 % respectively. Furthermore, 76 % of the participants report a reduction in therapies especially for benign thyroid disease (-41.8 %) and radiosynoviorthesis (–53.8 %) while tumor therapies remained mainly stable. 48 % of the participants report a shortage of personal protective equipment. Conclusions Nuclear medicine services are notably reduced 3 weeks after the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic reached Germany, Austria and Switzerland on a large scale. We must be aware that the current crisis will also have a significant economic impact on the healthcare system. As the survey cannot adapt to daily dynamic changes in priorities, it serves as a first snapshot requiring follow-up studies and comparisons with other countries and regions.

Library spaces that blend collaboration areas, advanced technologies, and librarian expertise are creating new modes of scholarly communication. These spaces enable scholarship created within high-definition, large-scale visual collaborative environments. This emergent model of scholarly communication can be experienced within those specific contexts or through digital surrogates on the networked Web. From experiencing in three dimensions the sermons of John Donne in 1622 to interactive media interpretations of American wars, scholars are partnering with libraries to create immersive digital scholarship. Viewing the library as a research platform for these emergent forms of digital scholarship presents several opportunities and challenges. Opportunities include re-engaging faculty in the use of library space, integrating the full life-cycle of the research enterprise, and engaging broad communities in the changing nature of digitally-driven scholarship. Issues such as identifying and filtering collaborations, strategically managing staff resources, creating surrogates of immersive digital scholarship, and preserving this content for the future present an array of challenges for libraries that require coordination across organizations. From engaging and using high-technology spaces to documenting the data and digital objects created, this developing scholarly communication medium brings to bear the multifaceted skills and organizational capabilities of libraries.

We present a simple algorithm for computing the acoustic response of a layered structure containing three‐dimensional (3-D) irregularities, using a locked‐mode approach and the Born approximation. The effects of anelasticity are incorporated by use of Rayleigh’s principle. The method is particularly attractive at somewhat larger offsets, but computations for near‐source offsets are stable as well, due to the introduction of anelastic damping. Calculations can be done on small minicomputers. The algorithm developed in this paper can be used to calculate the response of complicated models in three dimensions. It is more efficient than any other method whenever many sources are involved. The results are useful for modeling, as well as for generating test signals for data processing with realistic, model‐induced “noise.” Also, this approach provides an alternative to 2-D finite‐difference calculations that is efficient enough for application to large‐scale inverse problems. The method is illustrated by application to a simple 3-D structure in a layered medium.

With the increasing demand for clean and low-carbon energy, high proportion of renewable energy has been integrated into the receiving-end grid. The grid-side energy storage project can ensure the safe and stable operation of the grid, but it still faces many problems, such as high initial investment, difficult operation and maintenance, unclear profit model, lack of business mode. Therefore, it is of great significance to evaluate the comprehensive benefit of energy storage projects in order to guide the sustainable development of large-scale energy storage projects and power system. By studying the technical and economic characteristics of energy storage, this paper establishes a comprehensive evaluation system from four dimensions of energy efficiency, economic, social, and environmental benefit. Combined with typical business modes and determining the subdivision index system of different modes, the comprehensive benefit evaluation model of grid-side commercial storage project based on Fuzzy-Analytic Network Process (ANP) approach is established. Empirical analysis of a 100-megawatt storage project is carried out to evaluate the project benefits comprehensively, the potential problems of the market development and business mode of the grid-side large-scale storage project are discussed, and the future development orientation and suggestions are put forward.

This paper proposes safety management evaluation system of metro station project based on factors which the construction techniques and process of drilling-blasting metro station involved.Then the paper uses the OWA operator to determine the weights of the index and adopts gray theory to evaluate safety of drilling-blasting metro station construction based on measure of metro station project safety management.Finally,the paper puts forward recommendations of safety management according to the evaluation results.

Geology uncertainties and real-time construction modification induce an increase of construction risk for large-scale slope in hydraulic engineering. However, the real-time evaluation of slope safety during construction is still an unsettled issue for mapping large-scale slope hazards. In this study, the real-time safety evaluation method is proposed coupling a construction progress with numerical analysis of slope safety. New revealed geological information, excavation progress adjustment, and the support structures modification are updating into the slope safety information model-by-model restructuring. A dynamic connection mapping method between the slope restructuring model and the computable numerical model is illustrated. The numerical model can be generated rapidly and automatically in database. A real-time slope safety evaluation system is developed and its establishing method, prominent features, and application results are briefly introduced in this paper. In our system, the interpretation of potential slope risk is conducted coupling dynamic numerical forecast and monitoring data feedback. The real case study results in a comprehensive real-time safety evaluation application for large slope that illustrates the change of environmental factor and construction state over time.

Green space exposure is beneficial to the physical and mental health of community residents, but the spatial distribution of green space is inequitable. Due to data availability, green equality or justice studies typically use administrative units as contextual areas to evaluate green spaces exposure, which is macro-scale and may lead to biased estimates as it ignores fine-scale green spaces (e.g. community gardens, lawns), that community residents are more frequently exposed to. In this study, we used the community as the unit of analysis, considered the green exposure of community residents in their daily social and physical activities, obtained data on three types of green spaces including fine-scale green spaces in the communities, surrounding large-scale parks and streetscape images. We propose a series of metrics for assessing community green equity, including a total of 11 metrics in three major categories of morphology, visibility and accessibility and applied them to 4,544 communities in Beijing urban area. Through spatial visualization, spatial clustering, radar plots, and correlation analysis, we comprehensively analyzed the equity of green space at the community scale, identified the cold and hot spots of homogeneity, and then analyzed the equity of green space among regions under the urbanization process. The measurement results of these metrics showed that there are large differences and complementarities between different categories of metrics, but similarities exist between metrics of the same category. The proposed methodology represents the development of a green space evaluation system that can be used by decision makers and urban green designers to create and maintain more equitable community green spaces. In addition, the large-scale, comprehensive and fine-scale green space measurement of this study can be combined with other studies such as public health and environmental pollution in the future to obtain more comprehensive conclusions and better guide the construction and regeneration of green spaces.
