This paper first introduced the development process and function characteristics of the famous Sakai platform, then introduced the Sakai development environment and related the development technology. At last, the paper introduces the Sakai application in domestic and foreign. For the purpose of providing enlightenment and reference to network aided instruction in our university, we analysis and build an independent study platform.

The purpose of this research is to describe the role of the clerics to actualize good governance concept in the development of Makassar City. Therefore, clerics are not merely issuing “fatwas” (religious advises) for the sake of society, but also, clerics can also play a role in development process. The method applied in this research is a descriptive method. While the approach applied is a qualitative method because the issues that are studied are phenomenological. The results show that the role of clerics is optimal in actualizing good governance concept in Makassar City development process. The role and function of the clerics can be represented as a community counselor in line with the government's role as servant and protector of society. Moreover, the policy taken by the government has been supported by all the clerics in actualizing development programs for the mutual good of the societies. In making strategic decisions, clerics sometimes contribute and suggestions to the government to improve social support of that decision

In October 1989, the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) conducted the Ship Design for Producibility Workshop with broad participation from the Navy, Shipbuilders, Ship Design Agents and Academia. The Workshop was one of NAVSEA’s first Total Quality Leadership (TQL) initiatives and was subsequently expanded by NAVSEA’s Chief Engineer (CHENG) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (DASN) for Ships into the Ship Design, Acquisition, and Construction (DAC) Process Improvement Project. In addition, the National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) initiated a number of thrusts in Concurrent Engineering and Increased Throughput. The authors describe one of these major process improvement initiatives, NAVSEA’s 3D “Product Model” Strategy to extend throughout the enterprise-wide process of warship development a primary focus on the bridge between ship design and shipbuilding. The Workshop and subsequent process improvement initiatives have had a profound impact on the Naval Ship Design Process. Yet, as reported to Congress in 2002 by the Secretary of the Navy, the unbudgeted cost growth and increased cycle times for Detail Design of new warships have “reached an untenable level”. This necessitated the October 2004 ASN (RDA) policy memorandum on Integrated Digital Data Environment (IDDE). To realize transformational innovations in our ship designs, as well as transformational innovations in the entire warship development process, the National Naval Responsibility in Naval Engineering (NNR-NE) was recently established by the Navy. To support NNR-NE the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) created the Center for Innovation in Ship Design (CISD). A summary of some recent CISD Innovation Cells and how CISD can contribute to breaking down the existing organizational cultures and institutionalizing a collaborative product development environment are also discussed. As we begin a new century, it is appropriate that our naval ship design and shipbuilding community review its progress, look at the cross-cut principles of leading change, determine what it takes to bring about dramatic cultural transformation, and discuss the critical need for Navy, Shipbuilder, Design Agent and Academia leadership to continue developing a new collaborative product development environment which fosters a sea change in the whole naval ship development process.

The system structure of apparel industry chain collaborative work platform demands dynamic and expansibility. Study is made on component management technology, and the correlation model of platform component is established through introduction of relying-on information and information being relied on, so that relevant components can be collaboratively aware of the changes happening on a certain component; component classification and component library management system based on XML are also established. Study on integrated development technology of business components under the platform integration framework is made on this basis, integrated development environment for business components is established, and the above achievements are applied and verified in development of apparel industry chain collaborative work platform.

In this paper the results of the German state-funded research project “Fluidtronic”, that deals with a virtual development environment for fluid technical mechatronic systems, is presented. Firstly the conventional development process of a fluid technical mechatronic system is introduced. The conventional development process typically takes a long time because design failures are often only identified during the plant commissioning. Secondly the new virtual development environment, which is worked out in the “Fluidtronic” project is presented. It shows how both the system performance can be optimized and also how the commissioning time can be reduced extensively, if the interactions between mechanical, electrical and fluid power parts are tested at an early point of time in the development process. Optimizations in the development process are realized with the help of new and improved simulation models as well as soft- and hardware in the loop simulations.

Background Health care-associated infections, specifically catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs), can cause significant mortality and morbidity. However, the process of collecting CAUTI surveillance data, storing it, and visualizing the data to inform health policy has been fraught with challenges. Objectives No standard has been developed, so the objective of this article is to present a prototype solution for dashboarding public health surveillance data based on a real-life use-case for the purposes of enhancing clinical and policy-level decision-making. Methods The solution was developed in open source software R, which allows for the creation of dashboard applications using the integrated development environment developed for R called RStudio, and a package for R called Rshiny. How the surveillance system was designed, why R was chosen, how the dashboard was developed, and how the dashboard features were programmed and function will be described. Results The prototype dashboard includes multiple tabs for visualizing data, and allows the user to interact with the data by setting dynamic filters. Controls were used to facilitate the interaction between the user and application. Rshiny is reactive, in that when the user (e.g., clinician or policymaker) changes the parameters on the data, the application automatically updates the visualization as well as parameters available based on current filters. Conclusion The prototype dashboard has the potential to enhance clinical and policy-level decision-making because it facilitates interaction with the data that provides useful visualizations to provide such guidance.

This article presents the new system of virtual powertrain development introduced at Porsche AG that incorporates all phases of the development process, as well as all components and simulation disciplines. The system enables a powertrain in its entirety to be designed and tested virtually. Most activities can be planned and budgeted at the beginning of the project, and interactions that occur are systematically taken into consideration. The hardware-driven development process used until now is completely transmitted to the digital world. Powertrain development is divided into thirteen digital powertrain systems (DPSs), which contain different components and disciplines and are developed throughout the entire product development process. For each DPS, tasks, links, time schedules, reporting scopes, and responsibilities are precisely defined. Finally, a digital vehicle prototype is built from several DPSs. The results are aggregated in several stages, ensuring that core statements are consistently incorporated at all assessment levels, from the individual component to the overall vehicle. Furthermore, this article discusses in detail DPSs that are especially important for battery electric vehicles. For most of the examples, the powertrain of the Porsche Taycan is used. The Driving Performance and Load Spectra DPS provide the necessary design parameters for a new drive system. In the Electric Motor DPS, active parts of the electric motor are designed and all structural components are verified. In the Transmission DPS, all gear set parts are designed and verified. In the Cooling, Lubrication and Actuation DPS, all temperatures are calculated and the lubrication circuit is designed. The Powertrain Dynamics DPS provides information on powertrain vibrations. The article closes with a look at future development trends. The aim is not just to design and verify components but also to completely virtualize function and software development. Therefore, this article presents a system for creating and using a virtual development environment and tracking the results.

The terminal display system is a basic component of digitized tank integrated simulator. The combination of VAPS platform which is installed on PCs with VC++6.0 development environment is the basis of simulation system. And work in practice that can not only reduce design costs but also shorten design cycles. First, the structure, design concepts and realization methods of this simulation system are introduced. The system architecture diagram and the development process are given later. The research of several key issues is focused on, including the display of simulation interface as well as external drivers, and finally the development of the terminal display system for the tank integrated simulator is achieved so that met the demands for training purpose.

<p>Neologism is found in some psychiatric and neurological patients and some normal children but with different features. To identify the nature and find the function of neologism, this study has examined the nonwords in the speech of 3 Persian speaking groups: 2 schizophrenic individuals with positive symptoms (hallucinations, delusions and thought disorder), 2 conduction aphasic patients affected by stroke and 5 normal children, both from a linguistic and psycho-neurolinguistic perspectives. The results along with the issues of previous literature showed there are substantive linguistic, neurological and psychological differences in the neologism of the three mentioned groups. The obtained features of the neologism in the three groups have been classified and briefly defined for the objectives. Classifying the features of neologism in order to identify its nature may help to recognize it, in the case of patients as a symptom of some disorders, and in normal children as a phase of language and cognition development process.</p>

It has long been proposed that Leukocyte common Antigen-Related Receptor Protein Tyrosine Phosphatases (LAR-RPTPs) are cell-adhesion proteins that control synapse assembly. Their synaptic nanoscale localization, however, is not established, and synapse fine structure after knockout of the three vertebrate LAR-RPTPs (PTPδ, PTPσ and LAR) has not been tested. Here, superresolution microscopy reveals that PTPδ localizes to the synaptic cleft precisely apposed to postsynaptic scaffolds of excitatory and inhibitory synapses. We next assessed synapse structure in newly generated triple-conditional knockout mice for PTPδ, PTPσ and LAR, complementing a recent independent study of synapse function after LAR-RPTP ablation (Sclip and Südhof, 2020). While mild effects on synaptic vesicle clustering and active zone architecture were detected, synapse numbers and their overall structure were unaffected, membrane anchoring of the active zone persisted, and vesicle docking and release were normal. Hence, despite their localization at synaptic appositions, LAR-RPTPs are dispensable for presynapse structure and function.
