In this work, the CO2solubility predicted for amines of DEA and MDEA by using the OConnell (1964) expression as a base model. This expression fits between the solvent compositions and the thermodynamic properties beside the gas solubility. The solvent activity coefficient, Gibbs energy and Henrys law constants have been generated using Aspen plus data analysis tools. The self-interaction binary parameters (Margules parameters) have been calculated based on Henry constants values. The data input for this work depends on the amine system process conditions (temperature range between 298.15 K and 393.15 K), materials composition (concentrations of 10 wt%, 20 w% and 30 wt %). For both of the DEA and MDAE and the pressure fixed to be 101.3 KPa. The solubility values of this work give satisfactory results compared to the literature data.

The global Halal industry is large and continues to grow as the global Muslim population increases in size and dispersion. There are 1.84 billion Muslims today spread over 200 countries and is expected to increase to 2.2 billion by 2030. The industry will be worth USD6.4 trillion by the end of 2018 with more non-traditional players and emergent markets. The stakes are high with pressures to generate novel and sustainable practices. This goes beyond systems and hard skills as it needs to cut into the self – the person of virtues in virtuous acts, not because they “have to” but because it is the purpose of humankind or his telos - to be “living well” and “acting well” or eudaimonia. This study seek to explore Halal executives’ lived experience of “eudaimonia.”. Using Giorgi’s descriptive psychological phenomenological method for data analysis, the study elicits two distinct invariant structures – ‘disequilibrium in status quo’ and ‘divinity salience’.

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of conformity on adolescent impulsive buying behavior on fashion products in the marketplace moderated by self-control. The research method used in this research is quantitative.  The data collection used in this research is by sharing the questionnaire in the form of Google Form starts from July to September. The researchers use non-probability sampling method with voluntary response sampling. Respondents in this study are 150 teenagers. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis carried out, it is found that there is a significant relationship between conformity to adolescent impulsive buying behavior. Furthermore, the self-control variable as a moderating variable also has a significant effect on the independent and dependent variables in this study. The results of the study found that the conformity variable (X) simultaneously affected the impulsive buying variable (Y) by 73.1%, while 26.9% is influenced by other variables outside the regression equation or variables that are not examined. Other than that, the self-control as the moderation variable can moderate the effect between conformity and impulse buying in adolescents. For further research, there needs other variables that can be conducted to know what affects impulse buying with conducting to other types of society other than an adolescent.

A brand new self-compensated capacitive fuel level sensor has been proposed in this paper. Through mathematics manipulation and theoretical analysis, we design the self-compensated structure of capacitive level sensor. The multiple segmentation structure makes compensation for temperature and medium possible. Furthermore, the effect caused by adhesion on the sensor electrodes if the adhesion fails to return initial position when the plane’s attitude is changing has been analyzed. Additionally, based on RF admittance theory, the transducer which can eliminate the adhesion effect has been designed and implemented using phase-locked sampling technique. Through level experiment and data analysis, the fuel level sensor proved to achieve all the destinations, including compensation for temperature and medium and elimination of adhesion effect. Hence, the accuracy of level measurement has been improved.

The self-regulation of exercise maintenance model was used to study the episode-specific interpretations of exercise of older women immediately after an exercise episode. Seventeen women, mean age 69.7 ± 4.9 years, were recruited to represent a variety of exercise patterns. A semistructured episode-specific interview was administered after an exercise episode. The questions asked related to physiological/somatic and cognitive/emotional sensations associated with exercise and the social/environmental context of the exercise experience. Data analysis revealed five themes—somatic sensations, affirmations, connectedness, explanations, and reflections—each of which contained distinct categories. The proposed self-regulation of exercise maintenance model was clarified to better represent the data grounded in the women’s descriptions. The women’s qualitative descriptors will be used to develop a quantitative instrument to measure older women’s interpretations of exercise. Future research should involve testing the self-regulation of exercise maintenance model and examining interventions that affect episode-specific interpretations and thereby exercise maintenance.

Crystals of rubredoxin oxygen oxidoreductase have been obtained and characterized. They belong to space group P21212, with unit-cell dimensions a = 88.24 (15), b = 101.25 (7), c = 90.80 (3) Å. The homodimer (86 kDa) in the asymmetric unit is related by a non-crystallographic twofold rotation axis parallel to the ab `diagonal' direction, as shown by the self-rotation maximum in the section with χ = 180°. This pseudo-crystallographic symmetry element was also found to be the twinning axis of pseudo-merohedrally twinned crystals, leading to apparent pseudo-tetragonal P4212 crystal symmetry.
