Creating a knowledge of alliance between the urban and rural cold chain logistics enterprises in Yunnan is an important content of coordinated and efficient operation of the entire cold chain system. The study shows that the information disclosure in the knowledge alliance and enterprises lacks of knowledge sharing motivation. The lack of professional and technical personnel of enterprises factors restricts the establishment of urban and rural areas of cold chain logistics enterprise knowledge alliance. Measures (establish security and incentives in a knowledge-based alliance, develop a plan to nurture talent and establish a high level of trust between knowledge sharing) have to be taken to solve the problems in knowledge alliance building process.

(1) Background: Alcohol is a leading risk factor of premature morbidity and mortality. The objective of this study was to investigate the patterns of alcohol consumption in the PURE Poland cohort study baseline. (2) Methods: A Polish cohort was enrolled in the baseline study in 2007–2010. The study group consisted of 2021 adult participants of urban and rural areas from the Lower Silesia voivodeship in Poland (747 men and 1274 women). (3) Results: In the overall study population, 67.3% were current drinkers, 10.3% were former drinkers, and 22.4% were abstainers. Current use of alcohol products was more prevalent in men (77.2%), people living in urban areas (73.0%), and people with a higher level of education (78.0%). The percentage of current drinkers decreased with increasing age (from 73.4% in 30- to 44-year-olds to 48.8% in participants aged 64 and more). The majority of participants (89.2%) declared a low level of alcohol intake. The chance of high level of intake of alcohol was four times higher in men than in women (OR 4.17; CI 1.64–10.6). The majority of participants (54.6%) declared most frequent consumption of low-alcohol drinks (beer, wine) and 21% declared most frequent consumption of spirits. Current drinkers had almost 1.5-fold higher odds of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases (CVD) than never drinkers (OR 1.49, CI 1.03–2.17; OR 1.66, CI 1.27–2.18, respectively). Former drinkers had higher odds for hypertension and CVD than never drinkers (1.73, CI 1.05–2.85; OR 1.76, CI 1.22–2.53, respectively). (4) Conclusions: In our cohort study, we observed several socio-demographic factors differentiating the patterns of alcohol consumption. The preventive programs should focus predominantly on men, people aged <45 years, and those with a higher level of education.

Through a latent class analysis approach, we can classify individuals and identify subgroups according to health behavior patterns, and find evidence for the development of customized intervention programs to target high-risk groups. Our study aimed to explore differences in latent classes of health behaviors in adolescents by region (urban vs. rural areas) in a Korean city. This cross-sectional secondary analysis utilized data collected from all first graders’ student health checkups in middle school and high school in a city of the largest island in Korea in 2016 (n = 1807). Health behavior indicators included both healthy (consuming breakfast regularly, consuming vegetables daily, consuming milk daily, consuming fast food on a limited basis, engaging in vigorous physical activities, brushing teeth, and practicing hand hygiene) and unhealthy (drinking, smoking, and overusing the internet) behaviors. Nutritional and diet behaviors were important factors for classifying healthy and unhealthy adolescents in both regions. Approximately 11% of rural students belonged to the risky group, which was characterized by a high level of drinking alcohol and smoking. These results suggest that when developing health policies for adolescents, customized policy-making and education based on the targeted groups’ behavioral patterns could be more effective than a uniform approach.

The task of comprehensive development of the economy of rural and urban areas in the regions of Russia to create socio-economic conditions for development in order to reduce population migration, ensure sustainable development of the territory, a high level and quality of life of the local population - is currently one of the priorities for the Russian economy. The study of international experience has shown that the comprehensive development of territories must begin with the construction of infrastructure that allows creating conditions for a high-quality standard of living of citizens. Then it is necessary to form the sectoral structure of the economy of the territory, which should be as diversified as possible in order to stimulate high growth in the level of income of citizens. The article discusses the principles of developing programs for the comprehensive development of the economy of the territory, the size and sources of funding for such events at the federal and regional levels, as well as the stages of implementation of measures, the reasons for the emergence of risks and restrictions that are advisable to take into account when creating comprehensive development programs, the effects at various levels from their implementation. The results obtained can be used in the implementation of the spatial strategy of Russia, taking into account the territorial and sectoral specifics of regional development.

Abstract With the rapid development of social economy, the urban and rural environment, form and infrastructure have also under- gone earth-shaking changes. As a gathering place for human activities, urban and rural areas play a vital role in the interaction between humans and society. If traditional machine learning methods are used to perceive changes in the intentional connotation of urban and rural areas, it is easy to ignore the detailed information of the intentional target. At the same time, the perception accuracy needs to be improved. Therefore, the deep neural network in this paper proposes a way to perceive the temporal and spatial changes of urban and rural intentional connotations from the perspective of remote sensing. The framework first uses the multi-branch DenseNet to capture the multi-scale spatiotemporal information of the intended target, and embeds it with high-level semantics and low-level physical appearance information. Secondly, a multi-branch cross-channel attention module is designed to perform refined and integrated processing of multi-level spatiotemporal information to realize the aggregation of multi-branch information. Finally, it was tested and verified on two different time data sets, and good performance was achieved.

This article evaluates the performance of food cold chain logistics enterprises based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and entropy method. Based on the analysis of the present situation, an evaluation system of food cold chain logistics enterprises is established from four aspects, including the financial management, cold chain logistics process, development ability and customer service. The AHP method is used to determine subjective weights, and entropy method is used to get experts' own weights. Finally, a comprehensive index fusion weight is conducted. In addition, the result of an empirical analysis proved to be valid.

Abstract The aim of this paper is to characterize the daily activity pattern of the common hamster at two sites with different levels of human impact on environment. Locality no 1, Zesławice, is located within the administrative borders of Krakow agglomeration and is intensively penetrated by people. The farmers spend long periods of time in the fields and do much work manually. Locality no 2, Szczotkowice, is located between the villages of Szczotkowice and Pierocice, in the Działoszyce municipality. Extensive agriculture is carried out in this locality. The farmers use agricultural machines, but for most of the daytime, they are not present in the fields even during the busy harvest season. The daily activity of animals was studied using the method of food tables. The results indicate that hamsters from areas with high level of human pressures started their daily activity two hours later than those from rural areas. They exhibited higher synchronization and more uniform daily activity patterns than was recorded at the typically agricultural site. The morning and evening activity peak was significantly more distinct for urban hamsters than for rural hamsters.

Background: Although China began implementing medical reforms in 2009 aimed at fair allocation of the regional distribution of doctors, little is known of their impact. This study analyzed the geographic distribution of doctors from 2002 to 2017. Methods: This study calculated the Gini coefficient and Theil index among doctors in the eastern, central, and western regions (Category 1) of China, and in urban and rural areas (Category 2). The statistical significance of fairness changes was analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test. Results: The annual growth rates of the number of doctors for the periods from 2002 to 2009 and 2010 to 2017 were 2.38% and 4.44%. The Gini coefficients among Category 1 were lower than those in Category 2, and statistically decreased after the medical reforms (P < 0.01) but continued to increase in Category 2 (P = 0.463). In 2017, the Theil decomposition result of Category 1 was 74.33% for the between-group, and in Category 2, it was 95.22% for the within-group. Conclusions: The fairness among the regional distribution of doctors in Category 1 is now at a high level and is better than that before the reforms. While the fairness in Category 2 is worse than that before the reforms, it causes moderate inequality and is continually decreasing. Overall unfairness was found to be derived from the between-group.

Abstract Morphologically, land cover, urban and rural areas have different characteristics. It is the same as Pekanbaru City area that has unique characteristics including its surrounding regencies. However, the high level of land demand caused by increasing economic activity, high natural and non-natural population growth, makes the morphology of land cover in urban and rural areas unclear. Empirically this beginning to be considered common in urban areas that have a role as a strategic point or center of economic activity, but one of the concerns is the development of unplanned and dominating areas in a space that later create a more fragile environmental conditions in suburban areas. This study aimed to identify changes in land cover and assess the level of conformity of land use in the suburbs of Pekanbaru City. This study used a description method with two stages, (1). Identifying land cover using temporal images, (2). Analyze the level of conformity of land use. The results showed that there are four patterns of land cover change in the suburbs of Pekanbaru City, especially on the road axis connecting the surrounding area. These developments indicate nonconformity of land use which has an impact on the loss of protected land and productive plantation land in the suburbs of Pekanbaru City.

Given the importance of public infrastructure projects to the civil construction and considering the Brazilian context, the aim of this paper is to improve the management efficiency concerning project management methods applied to this kind of construction project. Using a multiple case study approach, the research has examined two large infrastructure projects and identified the critical points to achieve project's success. One project is from the sanitation sector and the other from the transportation sector, both developed in the Metropolitan Area of Sao Paulo and its surroundings. Public infrastructure projects normally have high levels of technical and management complexities. In recent years in Brazil, infrastructure projects have been showing increasing costs and a growing number of active companies. Moreover, these kinds of projects tend to interfere in the urban and rural areas in the cities, presenting many different influences and interests coming from several stakeholders and, consequently, bringing a high level of management complexity. This paper presents the initial results of the case studies carried out in order to identify guidelines for the application of project management methods in public infrastructure projects. Continually taking into account the context and the specific needs of each project, these guidelines intend to aid structuring, planning and maximizing the results, the final quality of the construction products and contribute with the improvement of project management practices adopted.
