Pressure ulcers have adverse effects on health. Thus, early detection of damage to skin integrity is important for preventing the occurrence of pressure sores. Meanwhile, two-hourly repositioning is a nursing intervention performed to prevent pressure ulcers. This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of regular repositioning for preventing pressure sores. The Braden Q Scale is an instrument that predicts skin breakdown caused by pressure ulcers. The designs used quasi-experiment pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group; 93 participants were selected through a nonprobability sampling technique by consecutive sampling (43 for the intervention group and 50 for the control group). Respondents in the intervention group were repositioned every 2 hours, and the control group received pressure mattress, which is done for 14 days or until the child can go home. The findings suggest that there is a significant difference in the Braden Q scores from before and after repositioning of the intervention group and the control group using pressure mattress (P<0.001). Nurses are expected to be able to detect early damage to skin integrity and to implement regular repositioning by using the Braden Q Scale.

Background: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) as an indicator of maternal health during pregnancy, childbirth, and childbirth. Anemia contributes 20% to the incidence of maternal deaths caused by bleeding during labor. The government prevents anemia by giving iron tablets at least 90 tablets for pregnant women. However, the prevalence of anemia remains high, because of the low adherence in consuming Fe tablets every day. Self-efficacy adherence is a predictor of health behavior and adherence to treatment. Objective: To improve adherence with self-efficacy in consuming Fe tablets in pregnant women with health promotion and WhatsApp reminder in Yogyakarta City Health Center.Method: This study used a quasi-experiment method with a pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group design. The sample amounted to 59, the sampling technique used was consecutive sampling which was taken by random sampling technique in which samples were taken alternately to determine the intervention group and the control group. Results: There were significant differences in the self efficacy score between the intervention groups (Mean = 6.30, SD = 8.11) and the control group (Mean = 0.89, SD = 7.83) with t-test = 2.60 and ρ = 0.012.Conclusion: There is a significant difference in self-efficacy adherence with consuming Fe tablets in pregnant women before and after being given health promotion and WhatsApp reminder intervention and control groups. Health service agencies can consider the combined service between health promotion and WhatsApp reminder to improve self-efficacy in adhering to consuming Fe tablets in increasing Hb levels in anemic pregnant women.

Pain in labor is physiological because the pain comes from the cervical dilatation and uterine contractions that needed for labor (Potter & Perry, 2005). Research conducted by Brown, Douglas and Flood (2001) using 10 nonpharmacological methods performed on 46 people found that acupressure technique is the most effective technique to reduce pain during labor through the increased of endorphins and shorten the length of labor. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of acupressure method on endorphin levels and the progress of labor in the first period. This type of research is quantitative research by using quasi experiment design with pretest approach and posttest design with control group by performing acupressure on primipara maternal mother during period I active phase. The study was conducted at Bidan Praktik Mandiri. The population of this study is primipara mother inpartu period I active phase using Non Probability sampling technique with Consecutive Sampling. The results showed a significant difference in endorphin levels before and after receiving acupressure in the intervention group (p = 0.048) and there was a significant difference in the progress of labor before and after receiving acupressure in the intervention group (p = 0.001). Acupressure can be used as a routine care in every care of normal childbirth thus mother's care and baby care can be created well.

BACKGROUND: Cardiac failure is one of the most common chronic diseases with high rate of morbidity and mortality. Fatigue and decreased ability to perform daily activities are of the most common complications of this disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of an educational plan based on Roy adaptation model on fatigue and daily activities in patients with heart failure.METHODS: This experimental study was performed on 60 heart failure patients admitted in two educational hospitals supervised by the Kerman University of Medical Sciences in 2019. Sample was randomly assigned into two intervention and control groups. The intervention group received the care plan through a face-toface and group training program in 6 sessions at one month. Interval followed by a follow-up period for 4 weeks later. Fatigue level was calculated based on piper fatigue scale, and daily activities were calculated by Barthes scale.RESULTS: The finding indicated that there was a significant difference between the two groups (control and intervention) after the intervention. The result showed that the intervention group had significantly lower mean scores in fatigue and higher mean scores in daily activities compared to the control group after intervention P ≤ .05. There was a significant relationship between fatigue and daily activities of life with frequency of hospitalization and duration of disease in both groups, P ≤ .05.CONCLUSION: Implementation of Roy model-based education program as a low-cost, effective, and non-aggressive nursing intervention can reduce fatigue, and improve daily activities in patients with heart failure.
