Objectives: The objective of the article is to understand the need and importance of risk communication and community engagement in containing the COVID-19 outbreak. Introduction: The Corona Virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, which has been designated as a public health emer- gency of international concern has created a sense of fear and apprehension among the community across the world. Methods: Acknowledging all these alarming facts, we cannot deny that we have to intensify our efforts and all the national policy makers should recognize the infection as of utmost public health priority and be prepared to respond to the potential outbreak within their own boundaries. Results: Based on the earlier outbreaks of the infectious diseases in the current decades, risk communication and communi- ty engagement have been identified as one of the crucial and integral elements of a successful response to the public health emergencies. Conclusion: In conclusion, risk communication and community engagement are an essential and challenging aspects of the containment of the COVID-19 outbreak and thus we have to try our best to establish a better system to ensure that risk communication is well in place and utilized effectively to engage the community. Human history is observing a very horrible and strange situation fighting a very small enemy. The Novel COVID-19 corona virus. On 11 feb 2020 world health organization has declared a name for covid disorder and has said covid as a global public health diease and also as a pandemic due to its worldwide spread. It started as an outbreak in december with its birth place in wuhan people of china has came out as a global public health exigency of worldwide trouble. Corona virus are the group of virus with non segmented, single stranded and positive sence RNA genome. In this narrative review article, reference was taken from different article published in various database. Maximum article including the information of pregnancy and covid-19 were reviewed. A review of 11article with world health organization site information it is found that the symptoms of corona virus disease in non-pregnant occurred indistinguishable to that of gravid mother. There is no information regarding perinatal transmission in parturiency. It has been disclosed that corona virus can cause distress in gravid mother, miscarriage and also fetal distress. In general due to lack of relevant information regarding the effect of corona virus disease on gravidity it is obligatory to have more and more studies in this area.

Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) remains an incurable, progressive pneumonia-like illness characterized by fever, dry cough, fatigue, and headache during its early stages. COVID-19 has ultimately resulted in mortality in at least 2 million people worldwide. Millions of people globally have already been affected by this disease, and the numbers are expected to increase, perhaps until an effective cure or vaccine is identified.Although Africa was initially purported by the World Health Organization (WHO) to be severely hit by the pandemic, Africa recorded the least number of cases during the first wave, with lowest rates of infections, compared to Asia, Europe, and the Americas. This statistic might be attributed to the low testing capacity, existing public health awareness and lessons learnt during Ebola epidemic. Nonetheless, the relatively low rate of infection should be an opportunity for Africa to be better prepared to overcome this and future epidemics.In this paper, the authors provide insights into the dynamics and transmission of the severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus (SARS-CoV-2) during the first wave of the pandemic; possible explanations into the relatively low rates of infection recorded in Africa; with recommendations for Africa to continue to fight Covid-19; and position itself to effectively manage future pandemics. Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a pandemic so prevention efforts need to be made to avoid an increase in cases. In the context of prevention efforts carried out the implementation of health quarantine as regulated in Act Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine. The implementation of health quarantine is a joint responsibility of the Central Government and Regional Governments as a form of protection of public health from diseases and / or public health risk factors that have the potential to cause public health emergencies. Health quarantine is carried out through disease observation activities and public health risk factors for transportation, people, goods, and  or the environment, as well as responses to public health emergencies in the form of Health quarantine measures. One of the acts of health quarantine is in the form of large-scale social restrictions. The spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Indonesia is now increasing and expanding across regions and across countries accompanied by the number of cases and / or the number of deaths. The increase has an impact on political, economic, social, cultural, defense and security aspects, as well as the welfare of the people in Indonesia, so it is necessary to accelerate the handling of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the form of large-scale social restrictions in order to reduce the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is expanding.

Abstract The International Health Regulations (ihr), of which the World Health Organization is custodian, govern how countries collectively promote global health security, including prevention, detection, and response to global health emergencies such as the ongoing covid-19 pandemic. Countries are permitted to exercise their sovereignty in taking additional health measures to respond to such emergencies if these measures adhere to Article 43 of this legally binding instrument. Overbroad measures taken during recent public health emergencies of international concern, however, reveal that the provision remains inadequately understood. A shared understanding of the measures legally permitted by Article 43 is a necessary step in ensuring the fulfillment of obligations, and fostering global solidarity and resilience in the face of future pandemics. In this consensus statement, public international law scholars specializing in global health consider the legal meaning of Article 43 using the interpretive framework of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties.

AbstractIn January 2016, the World Health Organization warned that Zika virus is “spreading explosively” in the Americas and that up to 4 million infections could be present worldwide within a year. Soon thereafter, some politicians and authors publicly advocated for quarantine of travelers returning from regions where mosquitoes carrying Zika virus are prevalent. The public health tool of quarantine can be used to prevent the spread of infection by restricting the movement of persons who have been exposed to a deadly disease that can be transmitted from person to person before symptom onset. With 80% of Zika virus infections being asymptomatic, no rapid test being available to detect the virus, and primary transmission being via the bites of certain mosquitoes, application of quarantine in this setting is not scientifically sound or practically feasible. Rather, public health interventions should focus on preventing bites from infected mosquitoes, counseling pregnant women on the risks of fetal microcephaly and other birth defects, and identifying patients with signs and symptoms of Guillain-Barré syndrome. As was seen in the Ebola virus disease outbreak of 2014, non-evidence-based factors can influence policy decisions. Public health experts must ensure that policy makers are informed that quarantine is not a scientifically sound approach for the control of Zika virus. The spread of Covid-19 has become one of the people's concerns, starting in the city of Wuhan, China at the end of 2019 when this virus was discovered, the spread of the virus that the antidote has not yet been found is now out of control. More than 200 countries in the world have reported that their people have contracted the Covid-19 virus. Corona Virus Disease 19 has been declared a Global Public Health Emergency by the World Health Organization (WHO) on January 30, 2020. Conditions in Indonesia until Thursday, November 30, 2020, the number of people who tested positive for Covid-19 reached 538,883 cases, 450,518 people recovered and 16,945 of them died. This figure will continue to increase in line with the opinion of some epidemiologists and statistics that a pandemic outbreak will not end quickly. The purpose of this community service activity is to realize one of the contents of Presidential Instruction Number 4 of 2020, namely "Rrefocussing activities, reallocation of budgets and procurement of goods and services in order to accelerate the handling of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)", namely by making and distributing fluids. Disinfectant that is safe and environmentally friendly and recommended by the BPOM and the World Health Organization (WHO) to help people face the New Normal era. The result of this service activity is a disinfectant liquid that is safe and environmentally friendly and is able to anticipate the spread of covid-19 and increase public awareness of the Covid-19 Virus in the face of the New Normal era.

The 2019-nCoV (new Corona Virus) outbreak was announced by the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Emergency Public Health Organization, on January 30, 2020, and WHO reported the 2019-nCoV pathogen to SARSCoV-2 and Corona virus Disease 2019 on 12 February. (COVID2019). COVID-19 was officially recognized as a Pandemic by WHO on March 11, 2020. Plants have been used all over the world as traditional medicine for centuries to treat many chronic infections, including viral diseases. In recent years, scientists have been trying to verify the potential of functional compounds to protect human health and cure diseases with their research on functional and nutraceutical foods. Traditional medicinal plants have a long history supported by many researches such as maintaining a healthy life, toxins taken in daily life, fighting and preventing diseases, and longevity. Studies on the antiviral, antiinflammatory and antioxidant properties of ethnomedical plants and natural phytochemicals can be considered as a great potential drug source against various ailments as well as Covid-19 treatment. Based on this study, plant extracts increase immunity with the increase in the number of white blood cells and lymphocytes in viral infections such as Covid-19, which can lead to fatal consequences, regulating the production and release of proinflammatory cytokines, showing an anti-inflammatory effect with a decrease in the C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate, It appears to have a positive effect such as interfering with the development and potential antiviral agent activity. In this study, phytochemicals and effects associated with COVID-19 infection were reviewed.

The whole world fights against the Corona Virus Disease which is also known as “COVID-19”. This new virus is an infectious disease which spreads through the droplets from the person infected with this virus coughs or sneezes, thus a person has to protect himself by wearing face mask, wash the hands frequently and maintain social distancing to stop the spread of this newly discovered virus corona virus. The infection is continuously increasing at a very fast pace and thus different countries according to the number of cases imposed complete lockdown where only emergency services like medical, and essentials like food, vegetables and milk was made available. The disease has been declared as the Pandemic by the world health organization due to the spread of the disease in the whole world. Thus, digital transformation was inevitable to adopted by all for the continual existence and control the spread of the disease of business and academic activities. This article is a research study on digital transformation which is inevitable in post Covid era which is the new normal in India.

ABSTRACTBackground: World Health Organization (WHO) announced a newly discovered virus that first identified in Wuhan, China on December 2019, namely SARS-CoV-2 as the cause of corona virus disease (COVID-19) which had become global pandemic. Doctors as medical practitioners are categorized as vulnerable group to be infected by corona virus, and many otorhinolaryngologists had been infected and even died in performing medical services. Among the causative factors why otorhinolaryngologists could get infected by corona virus is their behavior. Purpose: To assess the behavioral level of otorhinolaryngologists in medical services during Covid-19 pandemic. Method: Descriptive study with a cross sectional design. Research samples were otorhinolaryngologists in Indonesia who met the inclusions criteria. The samples were selected by consecutive sampling method, and got obtained 1299 subjects. Behavioral level was assessed from 3 aspects: knowledge, attitude, and practice, which were comprised of 12 questions. Result: It was found that 461 respondents had a good behavioral level (35.5%), 677 respondents had moderate levels (52.1%) and 161 respondents had low level (12.4%). There was a statistically significant correlation between knowledge with behavioral level, attitude with behavioral level, and practice with behavioral level (p=0.001). Conclusion: The study of behavioral level of otorhinolaryngologists in medical service during Covid-19 pandemic obtained the highest number was moderate level 677 respondents (57.2%), and there was a statistically significant correlations between the variable of knowledge with behavioral level, the variable of attitude with behavioral level, and the variable of practice with behavioral level (p=0.001).
