The head master is top manager as the strategies roles in empowering the teacher performances. The purpose of this research is to know: arranging programs, the implementing programs, evaluation and obstruction challenging of the head master in empowering the teacher performances at SMA Negeri Trumon Raya. This research using qualitative research method descriptive. The techniques using to collected data those are: interview, observation, and documentation study. The subject of this research are head master and teachers. The results of this research show those are:  menunjukkan (1) the arranging program conducted by the head master in empowering the teacher performances to analysis initial needed, from the result of analysis that defined what will discussed to developing the teacher performances. (2) The implementing strategy program in empowering the teacher performances in holding the MGMP training activities. For instances workshop, assigning each teachers to conduct the lesson plan, harnessing the peer teachers in circumstances, and the teacher facilities needed. The strategy conducting by the head master is the ways to organizing the function as the tool in communication, share knowledge, thinking, and experiences in increasing the teacher performances. (3) The evaluation program conducting with the way is academics supervision with the visiting classroom techniques. And (4) the obstruction faced by the head master those are lack of indiscipline’s of teacher, tendency of teacher in copy paste the lesson plan, and less of competence of teachers in mastering the learning technology, lack of facilities in supporting the learning process. Abstrak Kepala sekolah sebagai top manager memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dalam memberdayakan kinerja guru. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: penyusunan program, strategi pelaksanaan program, evaluasi dan hambatan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam perberdayan kinerja guru pada SMA Negeri di Trumon Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penyusunan program yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam pemberdayaan kinerja guru dengan menganalisis kebutuhan awal, dari hasil analisis tersebut baru ditentukan apa yang harus dilakukan untuk mengembangkan kinerja guru; (2) Strategi pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan kinerja guru dengan menyelenggarakan kegiatan pelatihan MGMP, pelatihan berupa workshop, menugaskan setiap guru mata pelajaran untuk membuat perangkat pembelajaran, memanfaatkan tutor sebaya sesama guru dilingkungan sekolah, dan memfasilitasi guru terhadap keperluannya. Strategi yang dilaksanakan kepala sekolah merupakan wadah asosiasi yang berfungsi sebagai sarana untuk saling berkomunikasi, bertukar ilmu, fikiran dan pengalaman dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja guru; (3) evaluasi program dilakukan dengan cara melakukan supervisi akademik dengan teknik kunjungan kelas, dan (4) kendala yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya kedisiplinan guru, kecendering guru melakukan copy paste dalam mencari bahan ajar, keterbatasan kemampuan guru dalam menguasai teknologi pembelajaran, kurangnya fasilitas penunjang proses pembelajaran.

<em>SD Negeri 2 Bocor has implemented the 2013 curriculum since academic year of 2016/2017<strong>.</strong> The researcher was interested in analyzing the implementation of 2013 Curriculum learning for fourth grade of SDN 2 Bocor. The purpose of the research was to describe, analyze the obstacles, and the solutions faced by teacher in implementing the 2013 Curriculum to the theme of my dream for fourth grade of SD Negeri 2 Bocor. The research used qualitative research method. The subject was the fourth grade teacher of SDN 2 Bocor. The results showed that lesson plan reached 78.02% classified as adequate category, learning implementation reached 45.77% classified as low category, and assessment reached 69.92% classified as sufficient category when those met the research indicators. The main obstacle was the limited number of textbooks. The solution was to distribute a textbook to every two students. It indicates that the 2013 Curriculum learning has been well implemented and the teacher has handled the obstacles</em>

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami dan menjelaskan setiap tahap proses revitalisasi yang dilakukan oleh sanggar Selayar Art untuk menghidupkan kembali tari Pakarena Laiyolo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan interaksi analisis. Hasil penelitian yaitu memaparkan hasil kajian berupa proses yang dilakukan oleh Sanggar Selayar Art dalam upaya melestarikan tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />Kata kunci: Sanggar Selayar Art, tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />ABSTRACT</p><p><br />This article is the result of a study that focuses on the subject matter of how the process of revitalization of Pakarena Laiyolo dance is by Sanggar Selayar Art. The purpose of this study was to understand and explain each stage of the revitalization process carried out by the Selayar Art studio in order to revive Pakarena Laiyolo dance. The research method used is qualitative research method with an interaction analysis approach. The results describe about results of the study in the form of a process carried out by Selayar Art Studio in an effort to preserve the Pakarena Laiyolo dance.</p><p><br />Keywords: Selayar Art Studio, Pakarena Laiyolo Dance.</p>

This study aims to see the community participation in the satellite area in the construction and maintenance of Drainage in the Village Marindal II District Patumbak Deli Serdang. The research method used to answer the problem in this research is the method of qualitative research approach. Data obtained through in-depth interviews, literature study and documentation. Informant research comes from the elements of sub-district government and community. The results of the research show that the participation, involvement and utilization of drainage facilities are running well.

This descriptive qualitative research was aimed at finding out the methods employed by the EFL Teacher at SMPIT Tunas Cendekia Mataram. The setting of the research was in SMPIT Tunas Cendekia Mataram. The subject of this research was the 7th grade EFL teacher consisting of one single teacher. This research was designed as a descriptive qualitative research. The data were collected through, interview and document study (lesson plan). Data was analyzed by using the theories proposed by Larsen-Freeman (1986) and Richards and Rodgers (2001) classification. In relation to problem raised, the study identifed that there were three methods the teacher employed in the teaching process. They were Community Language Learning, Direct Method, and Audio-Lingual Method. Community Language Learning was employed five (5) times for five (5) different meetings, Direct Method was employed two (2) times for two different meetings, and Audio-Lingual Method was employed one (1) time.

The study aimed to analyze how the language lexical interference of Mandailing Language on Indonesian language. The study conducted descriptive qualitative research as a research method. The subject of the study was the society at Sitamiang Baru, Padangsidimpuan. The techniques of collecting data were interview and recording. In addition, the data were analyzed based on Miles and Huberman in Sugiyono (2016: 338) who said that the steps of analyzing data are; 1) data reduction; 2) data display; 3) conclusion drawing/verification. The result of the study showed that Interference at group vocabulary level, i.e. lexical interference in the form of words basis and lexical interference in the form of repeat words. It means that the society tried to speak by using Indonesian language however, there are some interferences which make the language is interfered by Mandailing language.

China and India are rising powers of Asia. Both Asian giants have to adopt the policy of interdependence by growing economic ties; on the other side, they have a strict stance on border disputes. This article describes in detail the bilateral relationship between China-India, especially under the Modi doctrine, during his first term. Secondly, it also discusses the limitation of these growing ties and growing concerns for Pakistan. The basic argument of this article is that the growing economic interdependence will affect Pakistan, especially if this interdependence transfer from the economic to military dimension. The whole data is based on exploratory in nature. A qualitative research method has been used to achieve the research goals. Tools used for data collection include oral interviews and content analysis of the existing literature on the subject in the form of books, official reports and research articles. The relevant literature has been objectively analyzed to reach a meaningful conclusion.

This study aims to compare the school inspection reports prepared by educational inspectors in Turkey and the United Kingdom. In Turkey, educational inspection is carried out by the Educational Inspectors of the Ministry of National Education. On the other hand, educational inspection in the UK is carried out by Ofsted education inspectors. In both countries, it is compulsory to prepare an inspection report at the conclusion of an inspection, which sheds light on and evaluates the activities carried out at the school. The inspection reports are the subject of this study in terms of both form and content. The qualitative research method was used in the study and a document analysis was carried out. In this context, 10 inspection reports from both Turkey and the United Kingdom each were subjected to the inspection report review. A code was assigned to each inspection report. The reports originating from Turkey that were subjected to review were assigned the code TR, while the reports originating from the United Kingdom that were subjected to review were assigned the code UK. Titles of the inspection reports were determined and sample expressions related to each title were included in the text. As a result, although there are some similarities in the form of inspections, Ofsted reports were judged to be different, especially in terms of participation, evaluation of direct training activities, transparency and participation.

Students four grade semester English Education Department have difficult in writing. They have  limitation in English vocabulary building, students didn’t understand  systematically in writing. They usual use common words in writing English so that they weak in writing skill. Lecturer choose clustering technique to improve students’writing skill. The advantages this technique can mapp students’mind, an idea or theme with symbols and diagram after that they can improve become written or text. Furthermore all of the content in which they want to write based on the outline. This research aim to know improving students’writing skill  through clustering technique on students STKIP Kusuma Negara, Jakarta. It is qualitative research using classroom action research method. It was conducted two cycle. Each of cycle consist of four steps. There are planning, acting, observing and reflecting. This research was conducted with the subject twenty five students in fourth semester English Education STKIP Kusuma Negara Jakarta. Data were collected  through interview, observation and test. The result of this research is improving students’writing skill through Clustering Technique showed an increasing percentage and average score. Cycle I was  32 % students pass in writing skill or the average score is 73.28, in Cycle II was 88 % students pass in writing skill or the average score is 81.6. The students given positive responses, they were enthusiastic and motivated when they written in English by Clustering Technique. Based on the result, it  can be concluded Clustering Technique could improve the students’writing skill on STKIP Kusuma Negara.

The aims of this study are to know the Teachers’ Strategies on Teaching Reading Comprehension of Recount Text at Grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat. It was conducted by using qualitative research method. The subjects of this study are two English teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat. The two teachers taught at Grade X. They chosen as the subject which were observed and interviewed. The writer used two instruments, they were observation and interview. This study found that the teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Empat used appropriate strategy in teaching reading comprehension of recount text and using the media to make the students be motivated and interested in learning. The teachers guided and managed the students in comprehending the material. The teachers' reason in using strategies is because the students get difficulties in comprehending the material if the teachers were used the traditional teaching strategies. The implementation of the strategy adapted by the teachers with the material, the indicator, the purpose of learning on the syllabus and curriculumn. All of the students were active and motivated in teaching and learning process. They were also brave to share the idea, asked the teacher when they found the problem on learning the material and answer the question that given by the teacher.

In the empowerment activities carried out by the men's boarding house, Pondok Winaya through training in handling waste disposal becomes an economic value for the residents of the male boarding house. This male boarding house is a boarding house whose occupants are all male who work as students of the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Located in the Winaya neighborhood in Panancangan Village, Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City, Banten. Implementation of service on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 for one day. The service was carried out at the men's boarding house, Pondok Winaya, RT 03, RW 03, Panancangan Village, Cipocok Jaya District, which was attended by 20 participants. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques by means of observation, discussion and interviews, while the data processing technique used is an interactive technique proposed by Milles & Huberman (1992). The results of the service obtained are that during the initial training activities, boarding house residents are given some discussion materials and enlightenment about the waste that is often disposed of which will be of economic value as well as training in sorting the types of waste. From the results of the activities, the service partners can increase the awareness of boarding children about cleanliness and beauty and can also sort out the types of waste according to their respective groups and apply a composter that will produce liquid and solid fertilizers that can be used as plant fertilizers that sell high in the Winaya environment. This activity was directly supported by the head of RT 03 and RW 03.
