The aim of this paper is to make a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results of the project, which was carried out in the framework of research work at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš, in order to monitor the work of students and evaluate the effects of courses in philosophy on the formation and change of student attitudes. Our basic question is whether the newly acquired knowledge of methodology and philosophy of science affect students’ beliefs. If this effect is visible, in what direction and in what intensity does it go? We used the survey as a research method and a comparative and statistical method for data processing. The results we obtained confirmed the assumption, which we wanted to examine, of the significant influence of philosophy courses on the formation of student attitudes. Acquired knowledge of methodology and philosophy of science work to strengthen critical awareness and nondogmatic approach when considering specific problems. The results are in accordance with the theoretical orientation of the whole study of philosophy as well as the specific aims of the courses (presented in syllabuses).

The name of our project is CITI.GEN Z+. The word citi.gen is a combination of citizen and generation, Z is the number of our generation and + refers to all the future ones. We chose this name because it fully expresses our cause, which is to help the members of the new generations become the global citizens of tomorrow. An overview of global challenges of our world, leads to a basic question ‘How citizens are we?’ and more specific ‘How citizens are the next generation’. In those terms, we design a research to measure the impact in attitudes of global problems to our school community. The methodology based on qualitative and quantitative analysis. As expected, results of this project are the change of the youth’s mentality on matters that affect everyone’s future. We have decided to put together a team of professionals that will help adolescents get through issues they might be faced with and in general aid them in improving their lifestyle. With the passage of time, this “club” will expand and hopefully support all the kids in need. This way, we will create a society where citizens are informed and activated to ameliorate the future.

This study aimed to improve students’ learning activities in Science subjects with material inheritance through Inquiry learning models. The research method used was classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class IX.A Gangga SMP N 1. The data collection technique used was the observation sheet. Data of the research were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II, and from cycle II to cycle III to the components studied. From the results of which, therefore, it could be concluded that the implementation of Inquiry learning models had an effect on students learning activities. This was proved by the higher value of students learning activities in each cycle of the actions.

In this research, a very practical QuEChERS-GC-MS/MS analytical approach for 74 pesticide residues in herb based on retention index was established. This novel analytical approach has two important technical advantages. One advantage is to quickly screen pesticide compounds in herbs without having to use a large number of pesticide standard substances at the beginning of the experiment. The other advantage is to assist in identifying the target pesticide compound accurately. A total of 74 kinds of pesticides were quickly prescreened in all chuanxiong rhizoma samples. The results showed that three kinds of pesticides were screened out in all the samples, including chlorpyrifos, fipronil, and procymidone, and the three pesticides were qualitatively and quantitatively determined. The RSD values for interday and intraday variation were acquired to evaluate the precision of the analytical approach, and the overall interday and intraday variations are not more than 1.97% and 3.82%, respectively. The variations of concentrations of the analyzed three pesticide compounds in sample CX16 are 0.74%–4.15%, indicating that the three pesticides in the sample solutions were stable in 48 h. The spiked recoveries of the three pesticides are 95.22%, 93.03%, and 94.31%, and the RSDs are less than ± 6.0%. The methodological verification results indicated the good reliability and accuracy of the new analytical method. This research work is a new application of retention index, and it will be a valuable tool to assist quickly and accurately in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of multipesticide residues in herbs.

The purpose of this study was to determine urine glucose level in patients who came to the Sari Mutiara General Hospital in Medan. Research method with qualitative and quantitative test, qualitative analysis of urine glucose by inserting urine sample 5 - 8 drops into reaction tube that already contains 5ml of benedict solution, then burned on fire and observe the color change that occurs, quantitative analysis of urine glucose by adding sodium carbonate and 2 rounds of boiling stone into a reaction tube containing 5 ml of benedict solution, burned over a flame, then drop urine using a 1 ml pipette, while dripping urine, the liquid should not stop boiling, the titration ends when the blue is not look again. The results of qualitative and quantitative analysis were obtained from 25 test samples, 15 positive urine glucose patients, and 10 negative urine glucose patients.

The aim of this study was to know the improvement of students learning outcomes in Social Studies subject using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method in Class III of MI NW Taman Pagesangan Mataram. The research method used was Classroom Action Research. This research was carried out in MI NW Taman Pagesangan and used 23 students as subjects of the research. Instruments of data collection used observation sheet, test, and documentation. Data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis technique by using the completeness test formula. The result of this study indicated that the application of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition method could improve Social Studies learning outcomes in class III of MI NW Taman Pagesangan. This was in accordance with the results of tests that had showed improvement on students learning outcomes from the first cycle test to the second cycle test. The students’ average test score of the first cycle was 80 and the students’ average test score of the second cycle test increased to 85. The completeness Classical score also experienced an increase from cycle I to cycle II, from 82.60% up to 91.30%.
