The Gospel of Luke is a complete gospel in the process of compilation. In the material compiled, this research describes the topic of eschatology which was a controversial topic at that time. Even the controversy over eschatological interpretation has continued throughout the centuries. This paper aims to elaborate eschatological thoughts according to Luke's gospel. This paper examines Luke's narratives related to the last days. The research method used by the researcher is to conduct a thematic analysis of Luke's gospel narrative regarding eschatology. In detail, the implementation of the research was carried out in the following stages; the first stage is to look at the purpose of Luke's theology, so that by looking at Luke's goals, the description of the eschatology that Luke reports becomes clearer. In addition to examining the textual evidence of Luke's gospel, this paper also considers the thoughts of New Testament scholars in order to sharpen the interpretations found. As a result, the principle of the development of revelation became the foundation of Luke's eschatological thinking. The peculiarities of Luke's Eschatology can be understood in three aspects, namely the eschatological promise, the beginning of the fulfillment of the promise and the hope of the perfection of the promise. The eschatological promise forms the basis of a sure hope for believers throughout the centuries.

The early Church Fathers accepted the notion of an intermediate state, the existence of the soul following death until its reunification with the body at the time of the final resurrection. This view is common in the modern Christian world, but it has been challenged as being unbiblical. This study reflects upon this question. Does the New Testament speak exclusively of death after life, complete lifelessness until the day of resurrection, or does it also contain the notion of life after life or immediate post-mortem existence? It will be argued that, while the doctrine of future resurrection is the most common Christian view, it was not the only one present in the Christian canon. There are hints, especially in the Gospel of Luke and the Revelation of John, that people do indeed live again immediately after death, although the doctrine of resurrection is also present. These two ideas are never coherently related to one another in the New Testament and it was the Church Fathers who first sought to  systematise them.

Hospitalization requires children to adapt to various difficult conditions, such as treatments, health personnel, and separation from their families, especially their parents. Separation from parents often causes significant emotional changes in children like anxiety, which could trigger the trauma of hospitalization in both the short and long terms. The study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive phenomenology study approach. It was conducted in the Child Care Room with 11 participants. Data analysis was performed using Creswell thematic analysis. The study produced three themes: i) nurses support the presence of parents during children’s hospitalization; ii) parental presence is the main source of coping for children during hospitalization; iii) Parents have a role in fulfilling the children’s psychological needs during hospitalization.

New Testament scholars have almost universally assumed that Luke was written before Acts. The evidence to support this assumption is not great, and the possibility that these two books might have been written in the reverse order should also be considered. The clearest and perhaps the only evidence for the priority of Luke to Acts is to be found in Acts 1:1, where the author speaks of a “first book” which he has written, and then describes it in terms which show that he is referring to the Gospel of Luke. To this might perhaps be added the evidence of Luke 1:1–4, where the author is almost certainly giving us a preface not only to the Gospel but to Acts as well. But as Cadbury has indicated, Luke 1:1–4 may have been written after Acts had already been completed, so that this General Preface does not really give us substantial evidence for the priority of Luke. And although the secondary preface in Acts 1:1 is explicit enough about the priority of Luke, there is the possibility that it too may have been written only after the main body of both Luke and Acts had been completed. The editors of The Beginnings of Christianity, vol. V, p. 350, say, “Prefaces then, as now, were probably written after the work was completed….” This comment was made with special reference to the preface to Luke, but it might apply equally to the preface to Acts.

Offering made by Christians today cannot be separated from the teachings of the Bible both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Offerings should be offered seriously with full sincerity and an attitude of sacrifice. Giving offerings does not talk about how much material or wealth is given, but talks about sincerity and longing to give the best to God. The discussion of the results of quantitative research proved that the congregation of the Gereja Sidang Jemaat Allah Pait Kasembon Malang understood the doctrine of the meaning of giving offerings in the Gospel of Luke 21: 1-4 for 44.5%, so the congregation would participate in giving offerings with the right motivation and the best quality for God. Thus the results of this study indicate that the result is in accordance with what the researcher has proposed before.

The knowledge of firearms is one of the genres found in Malay manuscripts. However, gunpowder texts documented in such manuscripts have been largely elusive. This article aims to bridge the widening knowledge gap by presenting several textual evidence on the Malay tradition of using gunpowder. Using the philological research method, this article presents the transliteration of two texts found. Additionally, this paper intends to discuss content related to instructive and quantitative discourses. Therefore, this study is expected to provide a clearer picture of the textual dynamics of gunpowder knowledge to highlight the importance of the texts. Subsequently a discussion on the aforementioned manuscripts where specific gunpowder mixtures were explicitly stated will be considered as a concerted effort to enhance the understanding of Malay gun technology and facilitate in-depth discussions on various aspects of the traditional texts associated with the transmission of traditional knowledge, particularly in the form of quantitative or numerical descriptions. Keywords: Malay manuscripts, gunpowder text, traditional knowledge, textual dynamics, instructive and quantitative texts.

Abstract The responsibility of religious education is the most important responsibility for parents and educators, because it is the center of all resources. However, in practice there are still many educators who do not pay attention to the religious education of their students, they prioritize education that is only worldly. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Islamic education in Kuttab students is going well. Opportunities for the application of Islamic education to Kuttab students starting from the education system, curriculum, and teachers are extraordinary in maximizing education for children. However, it also has challenges that greatly affect children's education, namely gadgets, games and shows that are not beneficial to children, so it greatly influences the education of their faith. The advantages of the implementation of Islamic education in Kuttab, namely that children have begun to form creeds according to their age. While the drawbacks are that the application and understanding of Islamic education in Kuttab are not comprehensive and agree on all teachers and the environment that does not support the concepts that have been implanted in Kuttab.
