AbstractThis research was performed in a company which commercial activities are carried out in the industrial sector in the municipality of Atotonilco El Alto Jalisco and aims to analyze the effects artificial intelligence (AI) (robotic and systems information) has in workforce collaborators in industrial organizations. Based on a quantitative method, this research aspires to set forth the situation through the measurement and quantification of human reality; this is a non-experimental investigation. The instrument used for data recollection consisted of a questionnaire developed with AI techniques. One of the main conclusions reached was, when AI was incorporated in an organization, stress due to the fear of being replaced was triggered.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have expanded their utilization in different fields of medicine. During the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak, AI and ML were also applied for the evaluation and/or implementation of public health interventions aimed to flatten the epidemiological curve. This systematic review aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of AI and ML when applied to public health interventions to contain the spread of SARS-CoV-2. Our findings showed that quarantine should be the best strategy for containing COVID-19. Nationwide lockdown also showed positive impact, whereas social distancing should be considered to be effective only in combination with other interventions including the closure of schools and commercial activities and the limitation of public transportation. Our findings also showed that all the interventions should be initiated early in the pandemic and continued for a sustained period. Despite the study limitation, we concluded that AI and ML could be of help for policy makers to define the strategies for containing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract: Phishing occurs when people's personal information is stolen via email, phone, or text communications. In Smishing Short Message Service (SMS) is used for cyber-attacks, Smishing is a type of theft of sensitive information. People are more likely to give personal information such as account details and passwords when they receive SMS messages. This data could be used to steal money or personal information from a person or a company. As a result, Smishing is a critical issue to consider. The proposed model uses an Artificial Intelligence to detect smishing. Analysing a SMS and successfully detecting Smishing is possible. Finally, we evaluate and analyse our proposed model to show its efficacy. Keywords: Phishing, Smishing, Artificial Intelligence, LSTM, RNN

Supply chain management plays an important role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing industry business process. In this research, the problem is taken from a sales division in a company in determining the optimal sequence when delivering goods into nine cities. This problem is oftenreferred as travelling salesman problem. This problem is considered important since the optimal sequence can cut off operational cost. Creating an artificial intelligence for the company in determining the location and the optimal sequence of delivering goods is the main objective of this research. A genetic algorithm is utilized to determine the location and the optimal sequence. While for processing the data and concluding the result, researcher designed a Java-based application that provides the capability of automatic computing. The result of this computation is a sequence of locations with a fitness number for each. The best fitness number for the sequence location will be used for the final result and the conclusion to answer the company’s problem.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic technologies have recently been increasingly used in various areas of human activity. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to consider the medical, social and economic aspects of the use of artificial intelligence in various spheres of human activity. The reason for people turning to the above-mentioned innovations is to expand a number of human capabilities, increase labor productivity, reduce the negative impact of the human factor, etc. The social aspect of the use of robotic technologies should also not be underestimated. The economic aspects of the use of artificial intelligence and robotic technologies are the possibility of optimizing the number of labor resources, replacing a whole staff of auxiliary workers, which can significantly reduce the salary fund in general and the costs of a company using such technologies, in particular.

Abstract Contemporary third-party logistics (3PL) companies tend to broaden their competences in different fields and apart from traditional logistics services provide various value-added services to their customers. A systematic approach of 3PL resource management, as well as performance and quality indicator measurement are needed to forecast development of key performance indicators of a company. The purpose of this study is to discover contemporary tendencies of 3PL with regard to resources, performance and quality related issues, to determine resources, processes and quality indicators of 3PL, and to develop a system dynamics model for optimization of internal resources and processes of a company. The paper provides a systematic review of literature related to management of 3PL resources, quality and performance measurement. A model of management and optimization of 3PL resources and internal processes is developed by applying System Dynamics. The developed model consists of six blocks, namely, commercial activities, operations, procurement, administration, personnel management and quality management, representing different areas of internal activities of 3PL.

Abstract: Competition in the increasingly stringent era of globalization companies are required to be able to win business competition with a healthy. The success of a company is determined by the extent to which leaders create and produce good employee performance to achieve predetermined goals. Providing compensation is an activity to improve employee performance. Satisfaction with compensation given by the company can influence employees to work more enthusiastically to achieve company goals. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of giving compensation to employee performance in Dafam Hotel, Pekalongan City. The method used is a quantitative method using SPSS version 16.0 and data collection methods by observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires to employees of the Dafam Hotel in Pekalongan City with a total of 44 respondents using census techniques. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale, each of which has been tested using validity and reliability. Analysis of the data used simple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using the t test can be concluded that there is a real effect between the provision of compensation on employee performance in the Dafam Hotel, Pekalongan City. Keywords: compensation, performance, employees and hotel

Emerging agent-based systems offer a new means of effectively managing knowledge to address complex decision processes, thereby enabling solutions to many real problems that have heretofore appeared intractable. This article presents an overview of expert system and agent technologies, and shows the latter as a powerful extension of artificial intelligence for systems development. To illustrate, a system developed first using an expert system approach and then an agent-based approach is used to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the agent-based approach. Last, the practical implications of a company adoption of agent-based technology for systems development are addressed.

India is the third largest country in the higher education space with an unemployment rate of 4.8 percent. There is clear gap between academic deliverables and expectation from the employers and industries. Experimentation based learning is not leveraging actual knowledge as the process based learning happens while the candidate is on the job. The current employment greatly depends on the industry, academia, research and government sectors. To gain an entry in to each of these segments, the candidates need skillsets ranging from strong technical background, aptitude, communication skills, and working in teams. There are multiple ways through which the skill building is carried out by independent, government and industrial organizations. As an ecosystem, both academia and the industries should step forward to bridge the gap and utilize the human potential to the fullest to drive the growth of each industrial sector andthe region at large. This chapter outlines the outreach of industries through initiatives to bridge the gap between the academia and industry to promote regional growth. The opportunities, the gap that exists, various initiatives are discussed in detail.
