Based on the literature review, the authors describe current situation of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 spread, which is a common problem for the entire world community. The COVID-19 infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus has rapidly spread to all countries and continents. All segments of the population are sensitive to it, regardless of gender, age, belonging to various social groups. This virus creates certain difficulties in detecting and treating the disease. It is associated with the risks of developing critical clinical conditions of infected people. There are several versions regarding the origin of the coronavirus. The first theory is the natural origin of the virus. The second theory is the artificial origin of the virus. Currently, the evidence for both the artificial origin of the coronavirus and its natural origin is indirect, so it is impossible to reject both hypotheses yet. Reducing the incidence of coronavirus infection can be achieved only through vaccination and compliance with appropriate safety measures.

The pandemic of the new coronavirus infection, which swept the entire world community in 2020, has made strong adjustments in almost all spheres of life, but first of all, in health care. The great majority of the medical staff at the onset of the pandemic had no clinical experience with the COVID-19 patients. In addition to the lack of practical skills in treatment for the period of the onset of mass infections, doctors faced great physical and emotional stress. The article provides a comparative analysis of the questionnaires results from among nursing staff in SRC Burnasyan FMBC in 2018 and 2020. The research results show that in the process of treatment and rehabilitation of pa- tients with COVID-19 in the professional motivation of doctors some changes took place towards personal motivation associated with serving and helping people.

We consider the issues of correlation between the international law of citizens of different states to travel and national legislation restricting illegal migration, which are the subject of interstate agreements. The issue of combating organized illegal migration for Russia is urgent, since the dynam-ics of this crime indicates an increase in the registration of such crimes and the identified persons who committed them. This is due to the large length of Russian borders and integration with foreign states, which entails an increase in the penetration of foreign citizens into the territory of our country. Illegal migration leads to an increase in ethnic organized crime and related smug-gling, drug trafficking, tax evasion and extortion. The fight against this criminal phenomenon is relevant for the entire world community. States seek to protect their citizens, but at the same time are obliged to comply with in-ternational legal norms on the issue under consideration. This activity of states should be carried out in accordance with the principles of respect for human rights and freedoms. We analyze international and Russian legisla-tion, damage caused by illegal migration, and propose measures to prevent crime related to illegal migration.

The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of modern obstetrics today. The goal is to review the current data on the characteristics of the course of the new coronavirus infection during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. Coronavirus disease is a new disease characterized by rapid progression and an increase in the number of infections and deaths since its identification in China in December 2019. This disease is caused by a new, previously unknown coronavirus SARSCoV-2, which was first recorded in China, when cases of pneumonia of unknown etiology appeared. Since then, the whole world has been exposed to the new infection. Pregnant women occupy a special place among the risk groups for COVID-19 infection. It is known that pregnancy itself, although it is a physiological state, is accompanied by changes in a number of organs and systems, including the immune system. Because of this, the susceptibility to a number of infections during pregnancy increases significantly. Of course, there may be restrictions due to coronavirus infection. But with the correct organization of the rest regime, physical activity and lifestyle (social distancing and adherence to hygiene and protection methods), these difficulties can be overcome.

At the end of 2019 the mankind had to face a new coronavirus infection with higher virulence which resulted in its rapid spread all over the world and in an ultimate pandemic. Initially a new virus which causes COVID-19 was called 2019-nCoV but it soon acquired its well-known name, SARS-CoV-2. We can positively state that this new coronavirus infec- tion will remain in the history of world public healthcare as a disease that caused a collapse in rendering medical aid. Un- doubtedly, this new coronavirus infection has changed customary lifestyle of the overall world population. This review can be considered problematic in its essence and focuses on examining contemporary trends in the official epidemiologic situation in the world regarding the new coronavirus infection (SARS-CoV-2). Having analyzed several for- eign and domestic documents, the authors revealed a necessity to enhance levels and quality of COVID-19 epidemiologic diagnostics. There is a suggestion being considered at the moment on including additional clinical and diagnostic activities aimed at preventing further spread of the new coronavirus infection. We should note that data on COVID-19-related mortal- ity and morbidity are renewed every day and every hour. Given that, it seems rather difficult to keep in line with the latest trends in COVID-19 prevention and epidemiologic diagnostics. However, the authors made an attempt to possibly collect all the latest data on epidemiological peculiarities related to clinical course of the new coronavirus infection. The authors have a hope that this review will be useful for epidemiologists when they detect new cases of the diseases as well as for lecturers at medical higher educational establishments when they train students and resident physicians.

The coronavirus pandemic has generated a lot of talk about the post-coronavirus future of the world community and has drawn close attention to the globalization process. The article notes that something similar in the public consciousness took place after the publication of the first report to the Club of Rome, when the awareness of the danger posed by global problems had quickly come. Now, one of the global problems — the coronavirus pandemic — has changed the usual life rhythm of the entire world community in a matter of weeks. The relevance of the topic is so high that even those who, before that, not only professionally, but even seriously were not interested in either the problems of medicine or global problems, actively joined its discussion. As a result, on the pages of many print and electronic publications, along with serious and verified information, all sorts of guesses and speculations about the nature and correlation of coronavirus and globalization are multiplied. Only knowledge can be opposed to this, according to the authors.
