This was a descriptive research. The sample was taken by using a purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by using valid and reliable scientific literacy questions and were supported by interviews. The data were analyzed by calculating the average value of the scientific literacy test results. The validity of the data used triangulation technique. The results showed that the scientific literacy results of the students grade VII based on the total score, aspects of science competence, science knowledge and science context showed that the students grade VII of SMPN 7 Pariaman got the highest average score, followed by the students grade VII of SMPN 2 Pariaman and SMPN 6 Pariaman with low category.

<span lang="EN-US">This study described the implementation of STEM-based science learning and performance assessment to the improvement of students’ thinking skill in Aceh, Indonesia. The purposive sampling technique was employed in this descriptive research. The respondents were 300 students at grade 11th academic year 2019/2020 which representing five public high schools in Aceh, Indonesia. The instruments used to measure the effectiveness of the implementation of STEM-based science learning were the rubric of habits of mind, observation sheets of performance assessments, and questionnaires. The finding presented the implementation of STEM-based science learning was able to habituate and develop students' habits of mind with an average score of 0.71 which included into high category. The average value of the overall STEM-based science learning implementation for the formation of habits of mind is 95.98% which categorized as good. It can be concluded that there is the success of researchers in implementing STEM-based science learning to form students' habits of mind.</span>

Based on the results of PISA in 2000- 2009, the score of Indonesian students' science literacy with the average score was 500. The low score of Indonesian students’ acquisition is reflecting the poor performance of Indonesian students in learning science. This study was conducted to determine the students’ achievements of biological science literacy as the total score, science competency, content, context and problems format, and the description of scientific literacy PISA comparison with students’ origin school and the students’ National Examination result and the factors that influence it.This research is a descriptive research. It was conducted to student grade X in SMAN 1, SMAN 8, SMAN 13 and SMAN 16 Padang. The instrument used to collect data is the text about the biological scientific literacy PISA test taken from the book Take the Test: Sample Question from the OECD's PISA Assessment. The results showed that the highest score of biological science literacy based on the total score was obtained by the students of SMAN 1 score 57.50, SMAN 8 score 45.90, SMAN 13 score 43.50 and SMA 16 score 42.40. Based on the science competency, the students are good at applying scientific evidence. The overall score of the students’ science competency 48.51 (low), content t 48.12 (low) and context 46.82 (low) and the highest average score is in essay problem. It can conclude that the student of grade X, Senior High School in Padang have low point of students' science literacy

This study was aimed to develop inquiry-based learning tools (PPBIT) and analyzed its effectiveness in developing the ability to argue of students at SMAN 2 Taliwang-West Sumbawa. PPBIT was carried out by applying 4D procedure. Then, pretest posttest control group design also completely concerned in determining the effectiveness of PPBIT. There were 66 students as the sample which was scattered from two classes and was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that PPBIT was appropriately to be used for students argumentation skills’ activities by an average of feasibility syllabus 78.71%, RPP 83.5, LKITS 75%, and Instruments KB 80.25%, and effective in improving the ability to argue the class X SMAN 2 Taliwang, particularly on the subject of environmental pollution and recycling of waste by the average score of the students' ability from 48.22 up to 85.08.Keywords: PPBIT, Argument

ABSTRAKMatematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang mempunyai peran penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Akan tetapi hasil belajarnya masih belum maksimal, masih banyak siswa yang mendapat nilai di bawah KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu dengan pembelajaran Problem Posing Tipe Post Solution Posing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriftif (Descriptive Research). Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling,  sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu  tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 36 orang. Istrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes. Data hasil tes ini dilakukan pengujian validitas, realibilitas, taraf kesukaran, dan daya pembeda soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 51,61% nilai posttest peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran Problem Posing tipe Post-solution posing berada diatas kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) dengan nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 73,74.Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar, Problem Posing tipe Post Solution Posing ABSTARCTThis study aimed to describe the learning outcomes of students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu learning Problem Posing Post Solution Posing Type. This research was descriptive research (Descriptive Research). The instrument used for data collection in this study was the test sheet. Data test results were then tested the validity, reliability, difficulty level, and differentiating power problems. This study aimed to describe the results of the analysis of scientific literacy skills of students of SMPN 4 Tanjung Pinang and SMPN 6 Tanjung Pinang. This research is descriptive research. The technique of sampling was purposive sampling. The data collection technique used the PISA scientific literacy questions of 2015 and was supported by interviews between students and a teacher. The data analysis technique was carried out by calculating the average value of the students’ scientific literacy test results. The technique of checking the validity of the data used triangulation. The results showed that the achievement of students’ scientific literacy was in the low category. The conclusion of this study is the achievement of the result of the scientific literacy test of students of SMPN 4 Tanjung Pinang and SMPN 6 Tanjung Pinang based on the total score showed that the ability of students of SMPN 4 Tanjung Pinang in answering scientific literacy questions is higher than the students of SMPN 6 Tanjung Pinang.

ABSTRAK   Tes Balke Dan Tes Jalan Rockport merupakan tes yang sering digunakan untuk mengukur VO2max oleh banyak orang dengan berbagai latar belakang olahraga. Telah dilakukan penelitian deskriptif komparatif dengan subjek penelitian 16 orang laki-laki dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil uji t ditemukan terdapat perbedaan nilai VO2max yang dihasilkan oleh Tes Balke Dan Tes Jalan Rockport (44,88±3.90,46 vs 54,36±4,94 ). Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan terdapat nilai VO2max yang dihasilkan oleh Tes Balke Dan Tes Jalan Rockport pada subjek penelitian (dengan P value sebesar 0,000 < α = 0.05).   Kata Kunci:  VO2max, Tes Balke, Tes Rockport   ABSTRACT   The Balke Test and the Rockport Road Test are tests that are often used to measure VO2max by many people with various sports backgrounds. Comparative descriptive research has been conducted with 16 male research subjects using the purposive sampling technique. The results showed that from the t test results it was found that there were differences in VO2max values produced by the Balke Test and the Rockport Road Test (44.88 ± 3.90.46 vs. 54.36 ± 4.94). The conclusions of the study showed that there was VO2max value produced by the Balke Test and the Rockport Road Test on the research subjects (with a P value of 0,000 <α = 0.05).   Keywords: VO2max, Balke Test, Rockport Test

Kejadian dismenorea primer di Indonesia sekitar 54,89%, sisanya 45,11% dismenorea sekunder. Dismenorea primer  pada siswi SMP X dari 35 siswi 25 siswi mengalami disminor bila haid. Salah satu pengobatan dismenorea secara non-farmakologis yaitu hipnoterapi. Hipnoterapi merupakan salah satu cara yang mudah, cepat, efektif, dan efisien dalam menjangkau pikiran bawah sadar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea pada siswi SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre Eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test-post-test. Jumlah populasi yang didapat 117 orang dan jumlah sampel yang diambil 20 orang, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data diperoleh secara langsung dari responden dengan menggunakan alat ukur Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS). Analisis data melalui dua tahapan, yaitu univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji t-dependen. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rata-rata skala dismenorea sebelum diberikan intervensi adalah 6,50 dan nilai rata-rata sesudah diberikan intervensi adalah 1,35, terdapat pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea (t=17,596, p-value= 0,001). Hipnoterapi dapat disarankan untuk diterapkan sebagai tindakan nonfarmakologis untuk mengatasi dismenorea.Kata kunci: Dismenorea primer, hipnoterapi, SMP.Effect of Hypnotherapy on Alleviating Primary Dysmenorrhea in Junior High School StudentsAbstractThe incidence of primary dysmenorrhea in Indonesia amounts to approximately 54.89%, while another 45.11% is secondary dysmenorrhea. 25 out of 35 female students at SMP Patriot Bangsa (Patriot Bangsa Junior High School) experience primary dysmenorrhea when menstruating. One of nonpharmacological treatments for dysmenorrhea is hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is an easy, fast, effective, and efficient way to treat dysmenorrhea by reaching the subconcious. This research aimed to identify the effect of hypnotherapy on dysmenorrhea in junior high school students. This research used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest- posttest design. The population of this research was 117 students and 20 students were chosen as sample with purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from respondents using Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS) instrument. Data were analyzed in two steps, univariate and bivariate with t-dependent test. The results showed that the average value of dysmenorrhea before intervention is 6.5 and after intervention is 1.35. Hypnotherapy was found to have an effect on dysmenorrhea (t=17,596, p-value 0,001). It was suggested to the school that they should conduct nonpharmacological interventions such as hypnotherapy as treatment of dysmennorhea.Key words: Dysmenorrhea primer, hypnotherapy, SMP.

This study aim to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) models in mind map integration to creativity of problem solving in the environmental pollution concept of graders X. The method used is a Quasi-experimental design form Nonequivalent Control Group Design (pretest- posttest). The study population is all the students of graders X academic year 2017/2018 as many as 9 classes with the number of 360 students. The sample used was 80 students from two classes as an experimental class and a control class. Sampling was done by Cluster Random Sampling technique. Instruments used include test descriptions, questionnaires and teacher observation sheets. The results of the analysis of the test descriptions creativity in problem solving obtained results of hypothesis testing (t test) i.e. 20.5 t count > t table of 2.66 means that Ho refused and Hi accepted, it means PBL learning models in Mind Map integration effect on creativity in problems solving. This is indicated by an increase in the average score on each indicator of creativity in problem solving in which students are able to grow various ideas, enrich ideas, add or detail the details of an idea and determine the truth to solve the problems. From the analysis of questionnaire data showed an interest in learning to use the PBL modela in Mind map integration, students agreed that if the model of PBL in Mind map integration may be easier to learn about the concept of Environmental Pollution. In addition, students also agreed that if the PBL models in Mind map integration effect on creativity in problems solving. The results showed that there was a significant influence between learning using PBL models in Mind map integration those not using the learning models to creativity in problems solving in the concept of environmental pollution of graders X.

Burhān al-Dīn al-Zarnūjī in his treatise Ta'līm al-Muta'allim Ṭorīq al-Ta'allum proposed that the academic achievement has six things dependency: ingenious acumen, fervent desire, patience, sufficent sustenance, guidance of a teacher, and length of time. In other side, Paul Stoltz in his book Adversity Quotient: Turning Obstacles Into Opportunities coined adversity quotient term as a score that measures the ability of a person to deal with adversities in his or her life. Hence, adversity quotient is commonly known as the science of patience. Based on this perspective, we was empirically tested students scientific literacy through correlational research. In particular, first adversity quotient was measured with Adversity Response Profile (ARP) includes four dimensions that are characterized as control, ownership, reach, and endurance. Second, scientific literacy was tested with Scientific Literacy Test (SLT) that focused on three competencies. Third, we used Pearson r to elaborate correlation of scientific literacy with adversity quotient. The participants of the study were 50 students in Kabupaten Kudus choosen by purposive sampling technique. The findings suggest that it is important to facilitate students’ adversity quotient to guide them on achieving scientific literacy.

The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of leverage, inflation and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the share price at PT. Astra Autopart, Tbk. companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2015. The sampling technique in this study using a purposive sampling. With the technique of purposive  sampling, all the members of the research samples by criteria. Samples that meet the criteria are used research data. Then followed the classic assumption test and test hypotheses by linear regression. The results of this study demonstrate the regression results in regression equation that Y = 2605,424 + 1561,550 X1 + 2,338 X2 + 38,994X3. T test results showed that the leverage anda GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is positive and significant effect on stock prices, while inflation is not positive and significant effect on stock prices. F test results showed that jointly leverage variables, inflation and GDP variables affecting the stock price significantly.
