One of the most pressing issues today is the organization of education, which combines all the components of educational content, traditional teaching, which maintains its dominance in educational institutions, serves as the basis for a systematic approach to the teaching of biological sciences. At the heart of a systematic approach to the teaching of biological sciences is the integration of educational content, teaching methods, tools and forms, and these components of the educational process form a coherent system.

Today, education is influenced by many factors. Educational institutions face budget cuts, outdated information technology, data security management, and a push to integrate distance learning. Virtualization technologies offer innovative solutions to the problems that arise in this direction. In particular, the extensive use of virtualization in implementing remote and traditional teaching with the use of various e-learning materials, digital learning resources, educational portals, websites, cloud-based technologies. The article presents the directions of the organization of the original educational infrastructure with the use of virtualization technologies implemented by the university in the educational process. This infrastructure provides students and university staff with access to virtual workstations and applications over the Internet, both for working in computer labs at the university and for extracurricular work. Virtualization technologies that characterize the infrastructure functions are presented, which reflect the advantages of this direction, and the final results of research experiments conducted to identify infrastructure problems are presented.

The article is devoted to the increasing role and prospects for the development of e-learning in modern transformation of higher polytechnic education. In the context of preventing the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 and the transition of universities to various forms of distance education, this issue is of particular relevance. The aim of the study is to assess the process of introducing e-learning into the educational process of higher technical educational institutions in Russia. The methodological basis of the work was the analytical and systematic approach to the study of the object of research using methods of data systematization, evaluative analysis and forecasting, as well as logical generalization. The authors come to the conclusion that the introduction of e-learning in technical universities in Russia until recently played a supporting role in the reorganization and optimization of the processes of training engineering personnel. The development of e-learning helped to reduce the costs of the educational process, reduce the number of employees, as well as solve the problem of the classroom fund. An important role in the development of e-learning was played by the desire to increase the rating indicators. The desire to expand non-budgetary sources of funding for modern technical universities and the possibility of implementing new learning models were only additional incentives for expanding the e-learning system. The results of this study can be used in further studying the digitalization of higher education and assessing the prospects for the development of professional training in Russia.

Purpose: to reveal the peculiarities of teaching students of higher educational institutions of specializations of sports games and martial arts ski training. Material and methods. To solve the set tasks, we conducted a study in the 2020/2021 academic year with students of the Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture in the amount of 45 people, aged 18-20 years, for three weeks. Students were taught skiing techniques both according to the traditional system (control group) and according to the methodology developed by us (experimental groups). The time for learning the technique of skiing in both groups was the same 15 classes of classical style and 15 classes of skating style for 90 minutes each (according to the work program of the discipline), but the teaching methods in the experimental groups differed. The following methods were used during the research: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature sources, working curricula and practical experience of teachers; analysis of information on the Internet; pedagogical observations; method of expert assessments; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics. Results: as a result of the study, it was found that students of the experimental group (E1) received significantly better scores than the control group for performing the technique of movement in the classical style, the average score - 6.30, and the control group - 5.68 points (t=3,6; p<0,01), for performing the technique of skating style score (E1) was 6.18 points, and the control group – 5,25 points (t=5,2; p<0,01). Students of the experimental group (E2) for performing the technique of classical movement style received an average score of 5.93, compared with the control group - 5.68 points, no significant difference was found (p>0,05), the average score of the group (E2) for performing skating style was 5.90 points, and the control group – 5,25 points, which is significantly better (t=3,8; p<0,01). Conclusions. The use of different teaching methods, taking into account sports specializations, as well as the development of leading motor skills, has improved the learning outcomes of students of higher education specializations in sports games and martial arts ski training. As a result of the use of simulation and special training exercises without skis and on skis at the beginning of classes on the technique of classical and skating skiing, students of the group significantly improved the mastery of ski training on all indicators (p<0,01–0,05). Keywords: ski training, educational process, students, sports games, martial arts, motor abilities.

In the article essence of interactive teaching methods is explained in the article and the advantages of their application in the educational process of higher education institutions are argued. The importance of the focus of the modern educational process not only on professional but also on personal growth of students is outlined. It is about the need to create conditions for the formation of personality traits such as mobility, ability to integrate into a dynamic society, critical thinking, the ability to generate new ideas, the ability to make non-standard decisions and be responsible for them, communication skills, teamwork skills, skills educational situations, etc. The essence of interactive learning is defined, which consists in mutual learning, group form of organization of educational process with realization of active group teaching methods for solving didactic problems. The peculiarities of using interactive teaching methods in the process of preparation of future teachers are revealed. The essence of the most common interactive teaching methods is considered. Working in pairs is an effective method that involves sharing ideas with a partner and further voicing your thoughts to the audience. It is effective to use the Microphone method to update background knowledge, which enables each student to say something quickly, alternately, by answering questions or expressing their opinion or position. Collective discussion, such as Brainstorming, is at the forefront of the educational process of higher education. The Carousel method is most effective for simultaneously involving all participants in the educational process in active work with different partners to discuss discussion issues. The Learning-to-Learn method enables students to pass on their knowledge to their classmates. The method of projects that determines the acquisition and application of practical skills by students. An important tool for the cognitive activity of future professionals is a discussion that involves broad public discussion of some controversial issue. The role of interactive teaching methods in the process of formation of personal and professional qualities of future teachers is revealed.

AbstractThe conditions for higher education teachers operating in a technology-enhanced education setting and an open educational context – such as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) – are different when compared to traditional teaching methods (e.g. in a lecture hall). This study investigates the grounds for 20 teachers at Swedish Higher education institutions to be involved in MOOC development projects. Six categories are found and described; including curiosity, merits, teaching development, flexibility, as well as the possibility to disseminate their research and expand their professional networks. Interviewees believed that the work was a viable way to strengthen their research portfolio, while also making a limited effort for teaching, enhancing the dissemination possibilities and strengthening their research networks.

Like the state of technology worldwide, the construct of mobile learning is constantly evolving. Mobile learning and remote teaching are gaining momentum and popularity in higher education, but little research has been done to examine their efficacy. With the use of mobile devices both in and out of the classroom becoming more prevalent, it is essential to examine the effectiveness of their use. This study compared the use of mobile learning and remote teaching (teaching content to students outside traditional face-to-face settings) with that of traditional teaching methods. Using mobile devices and social media, this study examined whether social work curriculum could be taught effectively to students outside static online or classroom environments.
