The distance learning model is increasingly being introduced into the practice of educational institutions. Distance learning technologies allow the educational process to be carried out at a distance, expanding the capabilities of educational institutions. The research problem: the use of distance learning technologies in teaching Latin. The purpose of the research is to reveal the potential of distance learning technologies in teaching Latin. The research methods used are generalization, comparison, analysis, survey. The base of the research is FSBEI HE "Maykop State Technological University", the Medical institute. The research results are the following: the potential of distance learning technologies in teaching Latin has been substantiated; studies related to the problem of distance learning in the study of foreign languages have been analyzed; the experience of using distance learning technologies in teaching Latin language has been presented. Key conclusions: distance learning technologies are information and communication technologies implemented using network resources in the indirect (distant) interaction between students and a teacher; distance learning technologies expand the possibilities of language training in modern conditions and can be considered as an additional resource for obtaining educational information, increasing the availability and quality of education; using e-Learning technologies (electronic educational environment of universities, Zoom and MIND online platforms) is an effective tool in teaching Latin, allowing to expand the range of opportunities for language training.

The present article considers the results of implementing the distance learning technologies at Vinnytsia National Pirogov Memorial Medical University in the process of mastering the discipline "Internal Medicine". Today, the amount of information that is so necessary for obtaining, understanding and mastering knowledge is growing rapidly. Given the current pace of development of education, today it is quite important to find innovative forms of quality organization of the educational process. This led to the introduction of information technology in education and the formation of a separate type of learning - distance learning. Now in Ukraine, distance learning is widely developing at all levels of education, this makes it possible to individualize the process of acquiring knowledge, abilities, skills and methods of human cognitive activity, which occurs mainly through the indirect interaction of participants in the educational process distant from each other in a specialized environment, functioning based on modern information and communication technologies.

Today higher educational institutions should prepare a specialist, who is able to work successfully in globalized market conditions. Accent is made stronger on universal preparation of graduate student and his adaptation to jobs market, as well as on personal orientation of educational process and its informatization. The article considers a concept of distance learning technologies and their support systems. Designed system of distance learning for IT-specialists preparation based on a platform Moodle is a result of the study. The system ensures hierarchic organization of learning courses thanks to using an interactive multimedia clips in Adobe Flash format. As well as there is a possibility to organize various forms of learning and knowledge control.

Traditional Approaches

The use of modern information technologies, including distance learning, significantly strengthened the traditional approaches to the educational process in higher education institutions. On the one hand, the reason for this is the rapid development of information and communication technologies, and as a consequence, appearance of new modern pedagogical approaches to conducting lectures, practical and laboratory trainings. On the other hand, students also have changed. Under present conditions, they have a number of personal qualities that were not inherent to pupils and students of previous years. The article argues the use of distance learning technologies and the possibilities of modern specialists trained in educational measurements in the field of distance learning.

The article considers the peculiarities of providing English-language training of (future) aviation specialists for professional self-realization and performance of professional duties with the use of modern distance learning technologies. The specifics of distance learning are revealed. Terms and concepts, forms of learning are provided. Distance learning technologies, namely: psychological and pedagogical, information and communication, web-environment provide an opportunity to implement the process of distance learning in educational institutions. There are also two strategies for organizing distance learning: asynchronous distance learning and synchronous distance learning. During the planning and organization of distance learning a great role is given to the independent work of cadets. There are also IT elements that a lecturer and a cadet should be able to use in professional interaction. It is noted that Internet technologies, the ability to use Internet resources have a special place in the formation of professional self-realization of a future aviation specialist and providing innovative approaches to the educational environment. The main tasks of English language training in the educational language centers of the Flight Academy of NAU are: improving language skills and strengthening the communicative competence of the teacher / instructor to teach the professional disciplines in English, teaching professional English, preparation for the general English exam at level B2. The use of distance learning technologies in the English-language training of future aviation specialists requires a high level of knowledge, both theoretical and practical. It is necessary to interest and direct students to the use of innovative methods in order to build their professional capacity to use information and communication technologies in their further professional self-realization. The article contains the results of the research aimed at studying the problems of teaching Physical Training by means of distance learning technologies in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia during the period of additional health and hygiene measures taken in order to protect public health in conditions of COVID-19 spreading. The research attempts at finding the ways to resolve the contradiction between the necessity to use distance learning technologies for teaching Physical Training in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, dictated by the current socio-economic situation, and the objective limitations of these methods in terms of the practice-oriented character of the discipline. Using theoretical analysis of the conclusions of the previously held studies of the topic and  their own observations and their comparison with the current practice of Physical Training teaching, the researchers detect the main obstacles of distance learning technologies and offer the ways to overcome them. The research results can be used for planning and organizing the educational process for Physical Training discipline in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The global spread of coronavirus infection has paralysed the work of many areas of economic, business, and, of course, educational activities of almost all countries on the planet. Unfortunately, Ukraine is no exception and a quarantine regime has been introduced in this country. The way out of the current situation in education in Ukraine was the introduction of distance learning in all educational institutions, which created new challenges for both teachers and students. The purpose of the paper was to study information technologies, tools and methods of learning that can be used for distance learning in educational institutions under quarantine. As a result, authors analysed world practices in ensuring the educational process within the framework of distance learning. The advantages and disadvantages of distance learning technologies for both higher education institutions and higher education seekers were identified.

The article discusses a number of problems manifested during the sudden forced transition of educational institutions to the use \pagebreak of exclusively distance learning technologies in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the specifics of these problems for the areas of higher education related to the use of information technologies. A feature of these fields is the preparedness of teachers and students to use modern information technologies, as well as the high motivation of students. Under the conditions of force majeure, when the necessary stage of designing distance learning and filling it with content was forcibly skipped, both general and specific problems in organizing the educational process arose. The article analyzes the results of surveys of teachers and students conducted by the authors, which made it possible to list these problems and identify their economic and organizational reasons.

The article discusses the problem of organizing classes in the discipline «Physical culture and sport» with the use of distance education technologies, which is a result of the insufficient development of the methodological base, and the procedure for organizing training sessions in the distance form. The subject of the research is the use of distance education technologies in physical culture and sports training sessions. The purpose of the research is to study the experience of work with the use of distance learning technologies, develop methodological support and make recommendations for organizing training sessions in the discipline «Physical culture and sport». The methodological basis of the research was formed by methods of studying and generalizing advanced pedagogical experience, pedagogical observation, and modeling. As a result of the study, the structure of the organization of the educational process in the discipline «Physical culture and sport» with the use of distance education technologies, methodological recommendations and the procedure for organizing training sessions have been developed. The results of the study will add to the methodological base for organizing training sessions in the discipline «Physical culture and sport» not only in educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, but also in educational institutions of other departments. The obtained results of the research will be useful for lecturers, lecturers-methodologists of educational departments of educational organizations, teachers, inspectors for service and combat training in organizing the educational process. The Moment

The goal of teaching a foreign language in higher educational establishments in the context of the implementation of a competence-based approach is to form students’ communicative competence, which involves not only the development of speech skills and language skills, but also the assimilation of linguistic and cultural and socio-cultural knowledge. With the onset of 2020, people realized the need and relevance of information technology and, in particular, distance learning. This led to a significant change in the education strategy, the most important feature of which is the widespread use of various information technologies. At the moment, everyone uses Internet resources to carry out their activities at a distance. At the moment, due to the current situation in the country and in the world, the relevance of distance learning has become undeniable. The specificity of teaching foreign languages reveals both general problems of distance learning, as well as characteristic only for the discipline «Foreign language». With the decrease in study time, the problem of increasing the effectiveness of teaching arose, the solution of which is being addressed by teachers of foreign languages. Naturally, this entailed analysis and revision of curricula and plans, and, as a result, the search for new approaches and techniques to optimize the learning process in new conditions. Distance learning allows to implement individual study programs for students in the study of foreign languages. The article considers distance learning, analyze its advantages and shortcomings, explore ways of its implementation in the study of foreign languages ​​at universities and to demonstrate the role of computer technologies and Internet resources in the development of foreign language communicative competence and the students’ independent work skills forming. Distance learning is based on modern information and communication technologies of training and advanced training. Distance learning technologies can be seen as a natural stage in the evolution of the traditional education system. Thanks to technological progress, full-time and distance learning were able to integrate, complementing, and in some cases replacing each other. Thanks to the competence of teachers in this area, integration has become possible and does not harm the educational process, but, on the contrary, improves and effectively complements it.

This article is devoted to the use of distance learning technologies in teaching. The authors also distinguish the features of learning using distance learning methods. The authors note that the rapid development of information and communication technologies and the use of e-learning have expanded the possibilities of the educational process and provided opportunities for the general development of students. Practice shows that the use of electronic educational resources improves students’ perception and understanding of the discussed issues, creates more comfortable conditions for learning. However, by means of the systematic use of electronic educational resources in the educational process in combination with traditional teaching methods and pedagogical innovations, the effectiveness of multilevel education has significantly increased. At the same time, there is a qualitative increase in educational results due to the simultaneous impact of several technologies.
