ABSTRACTThe importance of the principal's role in managing and developing the quality of education in the education unit, a school if managed with good school management will certainly make the school a quality school and has a good output. This research aims to 1. To Know the Role of School Principals in Empowering SD IT AL IMAN Bojonggede teachers for the creation of a quality learning process, 2. To find out the Role of School Principals in establishing cooperation with the community / SD IT AL IMAN Bojonggede committees 3. To find out the Role of the Principal Schools in applying the principles of SBM in SD IT AL IMAN Bojonggede, 4. To find out the role of the School Principal in monitoring and evaluating SBM in SD IT AL IMAN Bojonggede, this study is descriptive qualitative, object studied by foundations, principals, teachers, staff and committee. The method of data collection is observation, interviews, and documents. The interactive data analysis model starts with data collection, data presentation, reduction and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that 1. There is an effort from the School Principal in empowering and increasing the competence of SD IT AL IMAN Bojonggede teachers by holding seminars, training in motivational training by bringing in resource persons, following teachers in MGMP activities, 2. There is good collaboration between schools and community / commitment with the participation of the Community in school management and social activities. 3. In his leadership the school principals apply the principles of school-based management including independence of school staff in managing schools in various aspects, there is justice in school management, among which the headmaster is fair in deciding suatau permaslahan, being fair placement and assignment of teachers and staff, openness, the leadership of the school is open to all parties, including foundations, teachers / staff and the committee both in terms of administration and finance. 4. there is monitoring and supervision conducted by school principals in the application of school-based management among school program monitoring, administrative monitoring, learning monitoring, teacher and staff disciplinary monitoring.Keywords: Leadership, Principal. School-based management is a form of autonomy in education management in educational units, in which case the principal or madrasah and teachers are assisted by the school committee or madrasah in managing educational activities. The purpose of this study, among others, was to determine and analyze the variables of managerial skills of school principals and school committees that influence the effectiveness of school-based management in SD Negeri Se-Karangrejo District. The research method was carried out with an explanatory quantitative design. The data collection technique was carried out by using a questionnaire before the level of validity and reliability had been tested on 60 respondents as the sample in this study. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression tests with the help of SPSS version 17.0 software. The results showed that (1) descriptively the effectiveness of SBM in good categories, managerial skills of school principals and the role of school committees in good categories, (2) there was a positive and significant influence between principal managerial skills on the effectiveness of SBM by 56.8%, (3) there was a positive and significant role of the school committee on the effectiveness of SBM by 36.8%, (4) there was a positive and significant influence on the managerial skills of school principals and the role of school committees together on the effectiveness of SBM by 63.3%. (5) Between the two independent variables, the managerial skills of school principals had a dominant influence on the effectiveness of SBM

The purpose of the research is to describe the leadership of madrasah headmaster to improve teacher performance. This research method uses qualitative methods and the research subjects are madrasah school principals and teachers. Data collection is done with interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis uses miles & Huberman analysis models with the sequence of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and deduction. This research shows (1). The importance of the leadership role of the madrasah headmaster to improving teacher performance through a teacher's professional improvement by attending a seminar, subject teachers' deliberations (MGMP)  (2). The leadership of the madrasah school principal in creating a conducive cultural climate of madrasah school which encourages teachers in teaching students to improve their character and moral of the learners.

School Based Management (SBM) is an effort to develop the education which roots from society, and also become inspired by the society, managed by the society and for society’s needs. School Based Management (SBM) gives school’s authority to the develop the polential. Institution it self dynamically and participatingly. Based on the result of study, there are three factors that make the education quality runs effectively anol it also improves evenly. The third factors are the education policy which concerns about education process, the implementation of education becomes regulative, innovative, and independent then the role of society through the instution of school committees which is participative oriented. In School Based Management (SBM), school has a greater authority to manage the school itself  because philosophically, school understands more how situation and conditional of school and also the expectation will be achieved. The purpose of School Based Management (SBM) program are the improvement of education quality includes school management, active learning, creative, effective, and fun (PAIKEM) and the participation of society. The purpose of this study are describing the implementation of School Based Management (SBM), the head master’s performance, teacher, and also the participation of society at SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara including the supporting inhibiting factors. This study used descriptive qualitative methodology the technique of collecting data through interview, Observation, and documentation. The reverence sources are taken from principal, teacher, and society by using the instrument. The result show that firstly, school enables to use internal and external potential to interfere at every strategic activities of school. The next, the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) viewed by the principal’s performance with various duties and functions such as manager, administrator, supervisor, innovator, and motivator runs well. The third, the teachers also show good performance in doing their duties for instances preparation of teaching program, the presentation of the subject matter, evaluation, and the result of student learning analysis and remedial. The last, participation of society good cooperation with the school management. Thus, indicates that the performance of principal and teacher comprehensively the partipation of society through school committees runs in synergy, coordinative, and dynamic in the context of implementation school based management model at SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Manajemen Sekolah Model pada Jenjang Pendidikan Dasar di SD Negeri 1 Menteng Kota Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam peneltian ini yaitu: Kepala Sekolah, Ketua TPMPS dan Guru-guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui: Pengumpulan data, Reduksi data, Penyajian Data, dan Penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Pengabsahan data menggunakan Teknik Triangulasi dan Member Check. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan SPMI meliputi: (a) Sosialisasi program SPMI, (b) Pembentukan TPMPS dan Tim Monev, (c) Memetakan mutu, (d) Membuat peta masalah, e) Membuat rencana aksi, (f) Membuat jadwal, dan (g) Menentukan anggaran; (2) Pengorganisasian SPMI: (a) Pengawas: Dinas Pendidikan, TPMPD, Pengawas Sekolah, Penanggung jawab: Kepala Sekolah, Pengelola: TPMPS dan Tim Monev; (3) Pelaksanaan SPMI dilakukan dengan mengikuti jadwal, menentukan Sarpras, mengadakan kegiatan workshop dan TOT; (4) Pengawasan SPMI dilakukan oleh: kepala sekolah, TPMPD, TPMPS, Tim Monev dan Pengawas Sekolah; (5) Evaluasi SPMI dilakukan dengan menentukan jadwal, membuat instrumen/alat ukur, melakukan peninjauan kembali, dan menyusun RTL. Abstract: This study aims to describe the Model of School Management at SD Negeri 1 Menteng, Palangka Raya City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Sources of data in this research are: Principal, Head of TPMPS and teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. Validation of data using Triangulation Techniques and Member Check. The results of this study showed that: (1) SPMI planning includes: (a) Socialization of the SPMI program, (b) Establishment of TPMPS and the Monitoring and Evaluation Team, (c) Mapping quality, (d) Making problem maps, e) Making action plans, (f) ) Make a schedule, and (g) Determine the budget; (2) Organization of SPMI: (a) Supervisor: Education Office, TPMPD, School Supervisor, Person in Charge: Principal, Manager: TPMPS and Monev Team; (3) The implementation of SPMI is carried out by following the schedule, determining the Sarpras, holding workshops and TOT; (4) SPMI supervision is carried out by: school principals, TPMPD, TPMPS, Monev Team and School Supervisors; (5) SPMI evaluation is carried out by determining the schedule, making instruments/measurements, conducting reviews, and making RTL.

In the current technological era many children are using social media. Children are more vulnerable to experiencing violence in cyberspace. The role of teachers, principals and guardians of students is needed to prevent the occurrence of violence in cyberspace. This study aims to determine the perceptions of teachers, principals, and guardians of students about the phenomenon of cyber violence against children. The subjects of this study were 4 teachers, 2 school principals, and 4 student guardians. Selection of subjects using purposive sampling technique. The object in this study is the perception of teachers, principals, and guardians of students about child violence in cyberspace. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data uses triangulation techniques with data analysis using an interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, display data, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that from (1) the cognitive aspects of teachers, principals and guardians of students who know about child violence in cyberspace prevent children from violence in cyberspace. (2) Affective aspects, feelings of teachers, principals and guardians of students are good, if children experience violence in cyberspace feel sad and sad. However, in the context of finding children who experience violence in cyberspace is still classified as passive. Teachers, principals and guardians of students will take action if there is a complaint from the child. (3) Conative aspects, when in school teachers and principals tend to act to prevent violence by advising children, prohibiting the use of mobile phones in schools and not providing internet support facilities for children. At home, guardians provide supervision and advice if children access the internet.

Teacher’s satisfaction during the conduction of Performance Appraisal System (PAS) is highly dependent on the school management. Therefore, role of the school principal for monitoring the performance of teachers at higher secondary schools is commendable to achieve the targets. Survey research was conducted to review how the school management role impacted achieving the PAS targets for the satisfaction of teachers. Multistage sampling technique was opted for exploring the opinions of school principals and teachers from nine districts of the Punjab by using an already established tool Performance Appraisal Scale for Higher Secondary School Teachers (PAS-HSSTs). This questionnaire comprised of closed-ended items was used to get opinions from 90 principals and 540 teachers of higher secondary schools of Punjab. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were applied. Items were factorized using the explanatory factor analysis technique yielding seven factors. Pearson Correlation was conducted to determine the strength of the relationship among the variables, while multiple linear regressions using the stepwise method was conducted to check the critical risk factors associated with the satisfaction of teachers during conduction of Performance Appraisal System. Management facilitation was rendered the best approach for successful Performance Appraisal System implementation. Performance appraisal was a significant and powerful predictor of teachers’ satisfaction; hence school principals focused on the ways and procedures to manage their teachers’ performance in order to enhance the overall effectiveness of PAS. Results revealed a highly complex situation faced by school mangers; though satisfaction of the teachers during PAS might be enhanced through proper training and awareness of the system. This study aims to describe and analyze the leadership role of school principals in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative approach with phenomenology. The research site at SD Negeri Krapyak Wetan. The data collection technique is done through interviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis was carried out through data collection, data reduction and ending with drawing conclusions. The results showed that; the role of the principal's leadership in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, is; a) Optimizing learning and deliberations with teachers, b) Providing education and training on online learning platforms (online), c) Providing appreciation and motivation to teachers, students and guardians of students, d) Conducting multidirectional coordination and communication.

The school principal sued the school is able to make changes not only in teaching methods and curriculum, but also management and organization. The school principal is required to create a conducive environment and planned changes in schools as outlined in the School Development Plan (RPS), implementing, controlling, monitoring, and evaluate them effectively and efficiently. The principal duties and position is not light, because the position and role of school principals will greatly affect (determine) the progress of the school. Therefore, a school principal should be able to perform activities related to managerial ability to effectively utilize personnel. The school principal is obliged to move the personnel to willingly and earnestly perform their duties through administrative include planning, directing, coordination and supervision. Seeing the principal’s duties and functions of such complexity, then the role of principals that can be categorized into different types of roles depending on the angle of view that ultimately can create a climate, a good school.

Sekolah alam adalah sekolah yang kegiatan pembelajarannya tidak hanya terpaku di dalam kelas, tetapi juga memanfaatkan alam sekitar atau lingkungan sebagai objek pembelajaran. Pembelajaran matematika pada sekolah alam dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk menumbuhkan jiwa siswa menjadi lebih kreatif dan mandiri. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah alam Ma’had Islam Pekalongan. Informan adalah kepala sekolah, guru matematika kelas IV dan V sekolah alam SD Ma’had Islam. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Analisis datanya meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah alam SD Ma’had Islam dilakukan di dalam kelas dan di luar kelas. Ketika di dalam kelas menggunkan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Saat di luar kelas (out door) lebih banyak menggunakan metode pemberian tugas dan game (bermain) serta memanfaatan bahan-bahan yang ada di Alam, guna memahamkan siswa sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan oleh guru matematika.ABSTRACTA natural school is a school whose learning activities are not only fixed in the classroom, but also utilize the natural surroundings or the environment as objects of learning. Mathematics learning in natural schools is done as an effort to grow students' souls to be more creative and independent. The research carried out aims to describe how the implementation of mathematics learning in Pekalongan's Ma'had Islam School of Nature. The informants are the school principal, mathematics teacher grades IV and V of the natural school Ma'had Islam elementary school. The technique in collecting data uses observation and interviews. Data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of mathematics learning in the natural school of Ma'had Islam Elementary School was done in the classroom and outside the classroom. When in class use the lecture and question and answer method. When outside the classroom (out door) use more methods of giving assignments and games (playing) and utilizing materials available in Nature, in order to understand students according to the material taught by mathematics teachers.

<p>The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of school based management in proving the quality of teachers In State Senior High School No.4 OKU. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The informants as sources in this study were the principal. Deputy principal, teachers, administrative staff and guardian of students. In collecting the data the researcher used were observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the research result it can be concluded that First, the principal in State Senior High School No.4 OKU is capable of implementing school based management well. Second, there is an increase in teacher quality as seen from teacher completence. Third, school principals is able to improve teacher quality through planned and gradual programs. Fourth, the principal is able to improve the quality of the school.</p>
