The changes in socio-economic conditions of the modern world require the public authorities to improve the methods of management. The index of the effectiveness of this management is the achievement objectives of public interest. Based on historical data, taking into account recommendations of international organizations for the assessment of the performance and efficiency of Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing it is proposed to use infectious morbidity rate indices of the population controlled by means of vaccination; the level ofparasitic diseases; the percent ofprevented cases as a result of the activities of agencies and organizations of Federal Service For Surveillance On Consumer Rights Protection And Human Wellbeing, mortality rate due to the impact of environmental factors, percent ofprevented cases as a result of the activities of bodies and organizations of Federal Service For Surveillance On Consumer Rights Protection And Human Welbeing, the prevalence rate of diseases associated with neoplasms in the population, diseases of the circulatory system, asthma, liver disease, congenital abnormalities (newly diagnosed malformations, deformations and chromosomal abnormalities) and the value of economic loss, generated by medical and demographic losses and underproduction of Gross Domestic Product prevented by measures of Federal Service For Surveillance On Consumer Rights Protection And Human Wellbeing. Methodological approaches for monitoring and analysis of these indices have been developed. There are determined ways of the improvement of the system of collecting and processing information for the correct assessment of the performance and efficiency of service activities.

Aim: to optimize the diagnosis of toxocariasis based on the analysis of epidemiological, clinical and laboratory data in children with the infestation. Patients and Methods: the analysis of official statistical data for the period of 2014–2018, literature sources, a retrospective analysis of 57 medical records of patients (40 children and 17 adults) who received treatment and diagnostic in the clinic of the Rostov Research Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing in 2015–2018 was conducted. Results: a decrease in the incidence of newly diagnosed infestation cases was revealed (registered in the clinic of the Rostov Research Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing). It correlated with official statistics (r=0.9, p=0.05). Based on clinical and laboratory examination, the diagnosis was established in 26 patients (45.6%). Among patients with a verified diagnosis of toxocariasis, the proportion of children aged 1 years and 1 months to 10 years old, was 96%. An analysis of epidemiological data showed that 76% of children had close contact with the soil. The infestation occurred in the form of latent toxocariasis in 36% of patients. In more than half of the cases, the disease was clinically manifested by geophagy (56.0%). A permanent laboratory parameter was the eosinophilic leukemoid reaction in patients with toxocariasis. Peripheral blood eosinophilia ranged from 15.66.2±9.31% in latent toxocariasis to 25.5±15.0 % in visceral toxocariasis. The positive rate in ELISA with Toxocara antigen was higher than that in the group of patients with visceral toxocariasis. However, there was no correlation between the eosinophilia level and positive rate (r=0.1, p=0.05). Conclusion: in areas where the incidence of toxocariasis and environmental contamination with invasive helminth eggs are high, it is advisable to perform tests of the peripheral blood in children at least one time per year in the autumn for timely diagnosis of infestation. The use of ELISA with Toxocara antigen is reasonable in the cases of peripheral blood eosinophilia. Introduction. The implementation of priorities of the scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation involves an assessment of the trends in the development of human, scientific, technological and innovation potential within the framework of these directions. In modern conditions of transformation of science and technology into key factors of Russian development, it is necessary to provide the country’s economy with human resources capable of withstanding “big challenges”, but at this stage there is a shortage of highly qualified specialists in many key industries that can offer a new scientific result, taking into account the prospects for its application. The purpose of the article is to develop an approach to assess the human, scientific, technological and innovative potentials in the context of priorities in the scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation and its validation using the example of three priorities. Materials and Methods. The materials of this study draw on Rosstat and FSMNO ; Rospatent; Web of Science and Scopus. The object of research is to assess human, scientific, technological and innovative potential in the context of priorities in scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation. In the course of the research, a multiplicative model of the impact of the availability of human, scientific, technological and innovative capacity on labour intensity was developed. In the process of research, the following research and analysis methods were used: comparison, induction and deduction method, generalisation method, chain substitution method, logical structure study, system analysis, and special methods of statistical, comparative analysis. In the methodological plan, we used the system and process appro aches in the basis of the study. Results. The study revealed that the labour intensity in 2016 for all three priorities of the scientific and technological revolution of the Russian Federation has increased. Therefore, according to the priorities of the scientific and technological revolution of the Russian Federation, the availability of scientific, technological and innovative potential is not sufficient, which leads to a decrease in the reverse indicator of labour intensity - labour productivity in the markets within the framework of these priorities. Concerning the impact on labour intensity in all three priorities, one observes: the growth of “collaborations” in fundamental research, the applied effectiveness of scientific activity, “collaborations” of applied research; reduction in citations from scientific articles, low patent activity of engineering and technical workers, technological demand for patents. Therefore, against the background of emerging collaborative activity of actors in the process of research and development and the growth of the applied effectiveness of scientific activity, there is a low level of orientation of scientific and scientific-technical results to c ommercialisation. Discussion and Conclusions. On the basis of the multiplicative model developed by the authors for assessing the impact of the provision of human, scientific, technological and innovative capacities on labor intensity, it was tested on the example of the three priorities of the scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation (a, b, c). It was revealed that the labour intensity in 2016, according to the priorities of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Russian Federation, increased, and the availability of scientific, technological and innovative potential is not sufficient, which leads to a decrease in the inverse measure of labour intensity - labour productivity in high-tech markets within the framework of these priorities. Concerning the impact on labour intensity for all three priorities, it was revealed: the growth of “collaborations” of fundamental research, the applied effectiveness of scientific activity, “collaborations” of applied research; reduction in citations from scientific articles, low patent activity of engineering and technical workers, technological demand for patents. It was also revealed that against the background of the emerging collaborative activity of actors in the process of research and development and the growth of the applied effectiveness of scientific activity, there is a low level of orientation of scientific and scientific-technical results to commercialisation.

Issues of scientific and technological development of the economy, increasing its competitiveness, including various aspects of technological integration, are the subject of foreign and domestic research. At the same time, technological integration is considered as a key direction of the new industrial and scientific-technical policy, as a means of transition to the digital economy, to production processes with higher added value, as a means of establishing a constructive dialogue between industrial enterprises and science. The reason for this is, on the one hand, the relative novelty of this economic phenomenon, and, on the other, the lack of theoretical and methodological tools for modelling the development of technological integration. The purpose of the article is to study the problems of modelling the development of technological integration in the context of priority scientific and technological development of the Russian economy. The article uses a wide range of general scientific methods: analysis and synthesis, grouping, typing, modelling, economicstatistical and graphical. The main methodological approaches used in the article are: structural-functional, instrumental and process approaches, which are reflected in the scientific and practical material of the general theory of systems, the theory of organization. The theoretical results of the study are the disclosure of the organizational model for the development of technological integration as a dynamic set of interconnected modules: management and coordination; structure; processes; resources designated to achieve the strategic objectives of technology integration participants. Classification characteristics of technological integration development processes have been identified and theoretically justified. The applied result is a specialized modelling tool based on a combination of a standardized approach and improved design quality with the ability to test simulated processes and the presence of stable feedback with all participants in technological integration. The process model of technological integration development was argued, its decomposition was carried out, which allows distinguishing the main, supporting and regulatory processes of participants in technological integration. The combination of these models facilitates the management of these processes in order to maximize the efficiency of the modern economy. An organizational and economic mechanism for modelling the development of technological integration is proposed, which allows the use of operational monitoring, due to the vector orientation of which it becomes possible to promptly carry out regular adjustments of key parameters of assessing the impact of technological integration on the results of technological development in national economies.

A methodological approach is proposed to assess the impact of new technologies on achieving the goals of scientific and technological development of the industry (for example, aircraft manufacturing). It assumes a hierarchical relationship between the characteristics of individual technologies, the characteristics of products (aircraft) and the integral characteristics of air transport systems. It is considered that at the stage of applied research and development not hypothetical but real objects are developed. The composition and relationships of the necessary complex of mathematical models are described.

This research focuses on consumer identity of two under-researched but growing immigrant communities in Australia via the lens of the body image construct. Consistent with an emerging stream of research, body image is viewed as a part of identity. Given the variety of goods and services that have an impact on consumers’ perceptions of their body, and because consumers use products to create and convey desired identities, body image is also viewed as a part of consumer identity. Considering literature on identity, body image, and acculturation, exploratory research was undertaken to determine the impact of immigration on the identities of both immigrants and natives. Specifically, focus groups were conducted on two generations of Filipino- and Indian-Australian women as well as Anglo-Australian women. It was found that second generation immigrants have dual consumer identities where they balance the values, attitudes and lifestyles of both their home (i.e., native or heritage) and host cultures whereas first generation immigrants tend to retain their native consumer identity even if they appear to adopt values, attitudes, and lifestyles of the host culture. The impact of immigrants on consumer identities of native residents who are typically in the majority (i.e., the Anglo group) was not evident. Theoretical and practical implications including recommendations for marketing practitioners are then discussed followed by suggestions for future research.
