Nowadays, software applications are entwined in every area of life. It is almost inevitable. In addition to helping businesses, software’s also facilitates over jobs and services, such as: in libraries. These software’s are created through high programming languages, namely Java, C#, Python etc.  Nonetheless, we can also create them while using applications from the Microsoft Office Package. One of these applications is Microsoft Excel. It has all the tools we need. This software application is created through Microsoft Excel for the sole reason that it is familiar to the majority of users, one of whom are librarians. The application comprises five pages: Content,Book Fund, Remaining Book Fund, Readers and Realization. The link between these pages will be done by numerous different functions, such as: if, sumif, sum, vlookup, etc.

The convenience that is currently obtained in doing work is the role of rapidly developing technology and the need to complete a job quickly. It is undeniable that there are still many people who are very reluctant to technology use. This reluctance can be caused by lack of will learning or inadequate facilities and the absence of motivating or construction. Guidance on the use of application software aims to make Church administrators Bethel Indonesia (GBI) Rawa Indah RT.03 RW.12 No.10 Kibing Batu Aji can understand how to use application software, namely Microsoft office excel to assist in how to use application software for good church activities in the form of making good financial reports, good invitation letters and others etc. The method of service carried out is by providing material about the use of application software in the form of tutorials that are made simply with easy-to-understand steps and direct practice and accompanied by a coaching team in addition to that will be given training to evaluate the level of understanding of the coaching participants. Therefore, application software development it will be indispensable for church administrators who are interested in studying it. The main target of this development is to create a society that can implement technology, especially application software to make it easier to work on work, especially in financial reporting by utilizing software application and understand how to use the application software. Results dedication shows that the targets set can be achieved, namely the management GBI Rawa Indah church can apply Microsoft Excel to make reports finance.

Affective computing is becoming more and more important as it enables to extend the possibilities of computing technologies by incorporating emotions. In fact, the detection of users’ emotions has become one of the most important aspects regarding Affective Computing. In this paper, we present an educational software application that incorporates affective computing by detecting the users’ emotional states to adapt its behaviour to the emotions sensed. This way, we aim at increasing users’ engagement to keep them motivated for longer periods of time, thus improving their learning progress. To prove this, the application has been assessed with real users. The performance of a set of users using the proposed system has been compared with a control group that used the same system without implementing emotion detection. The outcomes of this evaluation have shown that our proposed system, incorporating affective computing, produced better results than the one used by the control group.

Pemahaman microsoft office sangat penting untuk dipelajari dan diimplementasikan, namun ironisnya masih banyak yang belum memahami bagaimana cara menggunakannya terutama dalam memasukkan data administrasi. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan mengadakan pelatihan yang meliputi teori dan praktik yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan fitur-fitur pada microsoft word dan microsoft excel. Untuk dapat melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan microsoft office kepada kepala lingkungan di Kelurahan Abianbase dengan baik dan terstruktur maka pelaksanaan kegiatan dirancang dalam beberapa tahapan seperti tahap persiapan, tahap implementasi, tahap monitoring, dan tahap evaluasi. Materi yang disampaikan ada 2, yakni mengenai microsoft word sebagai alat pembuatan surat-menyurat, dan microsoft excel sebagai alat penginputan data warga. Para peserta mengikuti kegiatan dengan sangat antusias. Setelah diadakannya pelatihan mengenai microsoft office, pemahaman kepala lingkungan terhadap materi tersebut semakin meningkat serta peserta lebih bisa menggunakan microsoft office lebih optimal dalam menginput data administratif.

Perum Perumnas is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in the form of a Public Company (Perum). Perum Perumnas has 7 regional business areas and 1 rusunawa regional area. Perum Perumnas Regional V which is located at Jl. Wilis No. 23 Semarang is engaged in providing housing and settlements for the middle class community. In its business activities, Perumnas sells houses to the public with cash payment methods or through Home Ownership Credit (KPR). The Perumnas Branch can serve every consumer who comes to Perumnas Branch to seek information about the amount of monthly installment payments if the consumer applies the mortgage system with the down payment that the consumer has and the shortfall that must be paid. In carrying out this activity, the Perumnas Branch still uses the Microsoft Excel application.The problem that often arises at this time is the calculation of KPR between Perumnas Semarang Branch I and Perumnas Semarang Branch II which is quite different, making it less effective for companies. Based on this description, the author tries to provide a solution that is able to overcome these problems by designing a website-based mortgage calculation simulation system at Perum Perumnas Regional V with the aim of making it easier for consumers and marketing or sales parties to find information about mortgage calculations.Making this simulation system, the author uses the HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL programming languages ​​as the database. In its manufacture, this application is adapted to the needs of Perumnas in general.The conclusion that can be drawn is the dissimilarity or difference in filling out the mortgage calculation where the Semarang Branch I and Semarang Branch II when the marketing staff does the mortgage calculation even though they use the same bank Suggestions that can be put forward is to create a mortgage calculation simulation system that can make it easier for consumers to get information about mortgage calculations quickly, efficiently and accurately and can be accessed anywhere and anytime.

The solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) is considered extremely suitable for electrical power plant application. Both high temperature (HT) and intermediate temperature (IT) SOFC performances are investigated using models which are built in Aspen customer modeller. Moreover, this paper introduces a new simulation software, called Al-Nour V.1.0-2012 software application. The interface of Al-Nour V.1.0-2012 software was mainly implemented based on the educational theory of User’s Split Attention, that is; the entire software works with only one screen for all operations without any scrolling (user-friendly interface). This application reflects the fact that Al-Nour software does not require the user to have any previous training. The performance of HT-SOFC and IT-SOFC models is evaluated and compared using both software applications . The simulation results show that, the cell voltage value increases by raising the operating pressure, operating temperature, and hydrogen partial pressure. The electrical power output value from the SOFC is increased simultaneously by increasing the current density . Furthermore, the IT-SOFC has a higher cell voltage than the HT-SOFC.

End User Development offers technological flexibility to encourage the appropriation of software applications within specific contexts of use. Appropriation needs to be understood as a phenomenon of many collaborative and creative activities. To support appropriation, we propose integrating communication infrastructure into software application that follows an“easy-to-collaborate”-principle. Such an appropriation infrastructure stimulates the experience sharing among a heterogeneous product community and supports the situated development of usages. Taking the case of the BSCWeasel groupware, we demonstrate how an appropriation infrastructure can be realized. Empirical results from the BSCWeasel project demonstrate the impact of such an infrastructure on the appropriation and design process. Based on these results, we argue that the social construction of IT artifacts should be tightly integrated in the material construction of IT artifacts in bridging design and use discourses.

Software architecture has emerged as an important sub-discipline of software engineering; particularly in the realm of large system development. Collaboration software applications are inherently cooperative, requiring many software applications to coordinate their efforts to produce a software system application. Integral to this effort is developing shared understanding surrounding multiple artifacts, each artifact embodying its own model, over the entire development process. This focus on model collaboration embedded within a larger process is what distinguishes collaboration research in software engineering from broader collaboration research. This article first review a list of goals for software architecture, then collaboration software application, several possible future directions for collaboration in software engineering is presented. The article concludes by noting a problem in performing research on collaborative systems.
