The present study aims to determine the effect of the project based learning model with snake and ladder media to fifth graders’ learning activity and outcome in social studies. The material covered was the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence. The research method used was a quasi-experimental with non-equivalent (pretest and posttest) control group design. The research respondents consisted of 36 students. Data were collected through observation and tests. The research instrument used was observation sheet containing students’ learning activities and a test of learning outcomes that had been validated by experts. Independent samples t-test was used for hypothesis testing. The students’ activity and learning outcomes improvement were determined by the results of the N-gain test. The results showed an increase in activity and learning outcomes in both classes. The experimental class performed higher activity and learning outcomes than the control class. This shows that project based learning model with snake ladder media had a positive effect primary 5 students’ activities and learning outcomes in social studies learning.

<p>This research is aimed to find out:  (1) the differences learning outcomes between project based learning aided edmodo model  and conventional learning (2) the effectiveness of using project based learning model to increase learning outcomes of two dimentional animation techniques. This research used quasi experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research are students of class XI 1 and XI 3 multimedia program of Vocation High School Batik 2 Surakarta with 70 students. The technique of data collection used test to find out cognitive value and observation to find out affective and psychomotor values. The data analysis used were t-test formula and gain index analysis. The result showed that : (1) there was difference learning outcomes between project based learning model and conventional learning model at eleventh grade students of vocational high school Batik 2 Surakarta which shown by t_count= 4,435 cognitive, t_count= 2,175 affective, t_count  = 2,344 psychomotor were bigger that t_table = 1,995. (2) project based learning is more effective than conventional learning model to increase learning outcomes of two dimentional animation techniques which shown by gain index analisys, at experiment class obtained 0,587 and control class obtained 0,369.</p>

This research aims to analyze the learning model's practice and its effect on increasing student activity and learning outcomes in listening subjects. This study employed quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The data were gained using observation and tests. It is analyzed by reflection and statistical test of SPPS. The results show that the application of the AMETTA learning model effectively develops student learning activities and outcomes. The result of hypothesis testing with sig. (2-tailed) was 0.033 (˂ 0.05) It indicates that Ho is rejected. Thus, there is a significant difference between the average student learning outcomes in the experimental and control classes. In other words, the application of AMETTA learning model has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes.

Abstrak Berdasarkan hasil observasi wawancara dan data hasil belajar didapat bahwa hasil belajar IPS belum optimal dikarenakan dalam proses pembelajaran kurang keterlibatan secara aktif dari para siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar muatan pelajaran IPS kelas IV SDN Gugus Sultan Agung Pecangaan Jepara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental dengan desain non equivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling, dengan sampel sebanyak 112 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung (2,592) > ttabel (2,002) yang berarti model Discovery Learning berbantuan media audiovisual efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV. Hasil uji N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (0,477 > 0,286) kriteria sedang.  Simpulan penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan media audiovisual efektif terhadap hasil belajar mupel IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus Sultan Agung Pecangaan Jepara. Based on interview observations and learning outcomes data, it is found that social studies learning outcomes are not optimal because  there is less active involvement of students in the learning process. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model assisted by audiovisual media on learning outcomes of social studies content of the fourth grade social studies at SDN Cluster Sultan Agung Pecangaan Jepara. This type of research is a quasi experimental design with non equivalent control group design. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling, with a sample of 112 students. Data collection uses test, observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Hypothesis test results indicate that the value of tcount (2.592) > ttable (2.002), which means that the Discovery Learning model assisted by audiovisual media is effective against social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students. The N-gain test results of the experimental class are higher than the control class (0.477 > 0.286) moderate criteria. The conclusion of this research is the Discovery Learning model assisted by audiovisual media which is effective on the learning outcomes of Social Studies students 4th grade SDN Cluster Sultan Agung Pecangaan Jepara.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian quasy experiment yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan ular tangga dalam  model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Masamba (materi pokok struktur atom dan tabel periodik unsur). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design.. Sampel yang terpilih kelas X MIA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing 42 orang dan 43 orang. Kelas eksperimen diajar dengan permainan ular tangga dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT sedangkan kelas kontrol diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan memberikan tes hasil belajar dan pengisian angket motivasi kepada siswa. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji nonparametrik dengan menggunakan uji mann-withney menghasilkan Zhitung  Ztabel =4,426  > 1,64 untuk motivasi belajar sedangkan hasil belajar menghasilkan Zhitung  Ztabel = 1,661 > 1,64 sehingga disimpulkan permainan ular tangga dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Masamba.Kata Kunci:  Ular Tangga, TGT, Motivasi, Hasil belajar  ABSTRACTThis study is a quasi experimental study that aims to determine the effect of snakes and ladders game in cooperative learning model type TGT to motivation and learning outcomes of students class X SMA Negeri 1 Masamba (atomic structure and periodic table of elements subject matter).  Research desain is pretest-posttest control group design. Samples were selected class X MIA 4 as an experimental class and class X MIA 5 as class control the number of students are 42 and 43 peoples. Experimental class taught by a game of snakes and ladders in cooperative learning model TGT and the control class was taught just by cooperative learning model TGT. Data collection techniques provide the achievment test and learning questionnaires to measure students motivation. The results of pre-requisite test of inferential statistical analysis shown the data were not normally distributed and not homogeneous. So, hypothesis testing is done by using a nonparametric test Mann-Whitney shown Zhitung> Ztabel = 4,426> 1,64 for the learning motivation to and learning outcomes shown Zhitung> Ztabel = 1,661> 1,64. ABSTRACTOne of the ways to improve student’slearning activity and learning outcomes using studentcentered learning model. Therefore, this study applied cooperative learning model make amatchtype and analyzed its impact on student’s learning activity and learning outcome. This study was Quasi Experimental Research using Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The samples were selected by using purposive sampling technique, which are XD as the experiment class and XG as the control class. Data was collectedusing measurement, observation, and direct communication techniques. Learning outcome test, observation sheets and interview guidelines were used as data collection tools. Based on the data analysis which uses non-parametric U-Mann Whitney showed that there were differences in students learning activity and learning outcome between experiment class and control class. The Effect sizethat was obtained for student’s learning activities and learning outcomes were 1.17 and 0.86, respectively. Both are in high category of influence, which influenced amounted to 36.65% of the student’s learning activity and 30.52% of the student’slearning outcome. This study shows that cooperative learning model make a match has a major effect toward student’s learning activity and learning outcome.Keywords: Learning Activity, learning outcomes, make a match, reduction-oxidation

Research on the effect of the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes in class X MAN 2 Model Palu has been done. This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes in class X MAN 2 Model Palu. The type of research was a quasi-experimental study non-randomized design with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was conducted with a purposive sampling technique. The study sample was students in class X MIA 6 as an experimental group (n = 22) and students in class X MIA 3 as a control group (n = 22). The data testing of students' learning outcomes used a non-parametric statistical analysis, the analysis of Mann-Whitney U-Test. The research results indicated that the mean value of the experiment class was high compared to the control class, 22.61 >18.39. The statistical analysis obtained that sig. 2-tailed (0,032) ˂ 0.05 and Zcalculation (-2.149) ˂ Ztable (-1.96). The average value of the experiment class was 82.95 while the average value of the control class was 73.64. So it can be concluded that there is the effect of applying the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes.

Learning physics should be able to provide an understanding physics of abstract concepts. One of the efforts being made to improve the learning of Physics is to use appropriate learning model. This study aims to improve the student’s conceptual understanding by using project based learning model with virtual media for X Grade student at SMAN 2 Mataram Years 2015/2016. This study was conducted using a type of quasi-experimental research, untreated control group design with pretest and posttest on Optic. Hypothesis test results that the model used to give effect to the  student’s conceptual understanding, was shown to increase student conceptual understanding was higher in the experimental class compared with the control class. N-gain test results stating that the conceptual understanding has increased in each sub material. The results of the analysis conceptual understanding score on every aspect of cognitive increased.

This study aims to study: the differences between students who take part in spending with a project-based learning model and students who follow learning with conventional models of student learning motivation. This study was a quasi-experimental study with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 167 Pekanbaru in 2018/2019. Data collection using tests to determine critical thinking skills and questionnaires to learn learning motivation. Data analysis using t-test and Manova with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that there are differences between students who take part in spending with a project-based learning model with students who take learning with the conventional model on student learning motivation with the results of data calculations also understand Thitung at 17.412 and P = 0.00.

The goals of this research are to find the difference of mean the cognitive and psychomotor learning outcome Simulation and Communication Digital due to implementation of POE learning model compare to learning model PRP . This research is using quasi experimental design through the type of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The hypothesist will be tested using Independent Sample of T-test. The result of this research showed that the mean difference test of students' learning outcomes in the cognitive obtained a significance of 0.006, while the psychomotor learning outcomes obtained a significance of 0.000. Based on the results of the average difference, the learning model that is superior to cognitive and psychomotor is the POE learning model.

The purpose of conducting this research is to compare the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning learning model and the Project Based Learning learning model in terms of the critical thinking skills of elementary students. This type of research used in this research is Quasi Experimental with experimental design of Post test-Only Control Group Design. The population in the study were 164 five grade students in Diponegoro Salatiga Cluster, while the sample is 111 students of five grade students in SDN Mangunsari 01, SDN Mangunsari 03, and SDN Mangunsari 05. The results obtained from this study are based on descriptive statistics where the average implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model is 92.46, while the average implementation of the Project Based Learning learning model is 85.15. the results of critical thinking skills in the Problem Based Learning model are higher than the Project Based Learning learning model reinforced by the T test results obtained by the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0, 047 0.05 thus there is a significant difference between the two groups.
