The purpose of this study was to explore aspects of sex education on the application of Islamic elementary school which the female students' classrooms and male students' classrooms are separated. The research method used was qualitative research. The researcher was the primer instrument, but the researcher needed the other's instruments. Therefore, additional data collection techniques used were interviewing and observing. The kind of interviewing technique was used in this research was the in-depth interview. Participant observation passively was selected to observe the subject and object of the research as additional data collection technique. The results suggest that sex education can be applied early and realized through the concept of school implanted is the existence of separate classes. Thus, separation of classes by gender based on the aspect of religiosity is very influential to sex education and characters education. Sex education can be applied to an early age and manifested through the concept of a school planted that is the existence of separate classes.

Abstract: Gender issues must be resolved immediately. The study aims to describe: 1) Implementation of gender-based class segregation policies; 2) Inhibiting factors and solutions in implementing gender-based class segregation policies and school efforts in overcoming the problems faced in implementing gender-based class segregation policies. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. This research was carried out at Islamic junior high school Maarif 01 Singosari. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis phase used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. To check the validity of the data using data and source triangulation. The results showed that 1) The implementation of the gender-based class segregation policy process of its implementation was carried out by separating classes between male and female classes, from grades VII, VII and X but in one building, one organization and supported by the implementation of orderly. 2) Barriers and solutions faced by schools in carrying out policies are: attitudes of male students disagree with the existence of policies that have an impact on the class structure when learning hours are less conducive. The solution that is done by the school, by providing approaches and direction to students, and every teacher and especially the counseling guidance teacher and subject teachers must know all the problems that often occur to Al Maarif SMPI students to be evaluated on an ongoing basis.Keywords: Gender, Segregation, Policy Implementation Abstrak: Permasalahan mengenai gender harus segara dituntaskan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) Implementasi kebijakan segregasi kelas berbasis gender; 2) Faktor penghambatdan solusi dalam implementasi kebijakan segregasi kelas berbasis gender dan upaya sekolah dalam mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi dalam implementasi kebijakan segregasi kelas berbasis gender. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPIslamAl Maarif 01 Singosari. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu Wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Tahapan analisis yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk mengecek keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Implementasi kebijakan segregasi kelas berbasis gender proses penerapannya dilakukan dengan cara pemisahan kelas antara kelas laki-laki dan kelas perempuan, mulai dari kelas VII, VII dan X akan tetapi dalam satu gedung, satu organisasi dan didukung dengan diterapkannya tata tertib. 2) Kendala dan solusi yang dihadapi sekolah dalam menjalankan kebijakan yaitu: sikap siswa putra kurang setuju adanya kebijakan hal tersebut berdampak pada suasana kelas pada saat jam pembelajaran kurang kondusif. Solusi yang dilakukan sekolah, dengan memberikan pendekatan dan arahan terhadap siswa, dan setiap guru dan khususnya guru BK dan guru mata pelajaran harus mengetahui segala problem yang sering terjadi pada siswa Islamic junior high schoolAl Maarif untuk dievaluasi secara berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: Segregasi, Gender, Implementasi Kebijakan

Abstract: This study focused on forms of social pathology. Dua Garis Biru's novel tells a story about teenage life who commit deviation. The deviations committed by teenagers in Dua Garis Biru's novel are juvenile delinquency, dating, sexual relations before marriage, and early-age marriage. The deviant actions will give knowledge about the importance of sex education and the importance of communication between parents so that it can increase the discussion about sexuality to the children who are already teenagers. The method of the study was qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique was a literature study by collecting books and other sources related to the problems of the study. The results of the study show that Dua Garis Biru's novel show several forms of social pathology: Bima, who likes to skip school; Dara and Bima, who have dating until they have sexual relations before marriage; and Dara, who attempts to abort the fetus. Based on the results of the study, some suggestions are delivered to the readers and further researchers. For readers, they can take positive values from Dua Garis Biru's novel. For further researchers, it is expected that it can be used as a reference for the description of social pathology in Indonesian literary works. Novel Dua Garis Biru mengangkat cerita mengenai kehidupan remaja yang melakukan penyimpangan. Penyimpangan yang dilakukan oleh remaja pada novel Dua Garis Biru ini adalah juvenile delinquency, pacaran, hubungan seksual di luar nikah, dan pernikahan dini. perbuatan-perbuatan menyimpang ini akan memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pentingnya edukasi seks dan pentingnya komunikasi antara orangtua agar dapat meningkatkan diskusi mengenai seksualitas kepada anak-anak yang sudah beranjak remaja. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, dengan cara mengumpulkan buku-buku dan sumber-sumber lain yang terkait dengan masalah penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Dua Garis Biru menempatkan beberapa bentuk patologi sosial, seperti: Bima yang suka membolos, Dara dan Bima yang berpacaran sampai melakukan hubungan seksual di luar nikah, dan percobaan Dara untuk menggugurkan janin yang dikandungnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, beberapa saran disampaikan kepada pembaca dan peneliti selanjutnya. Bagi pembaca agar bisa mengambil pelajaran nilai-nilai positif dari novel Dua Garis Biru. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai referensi mengenai gambaran patologi sosial dalam karya sastra Indonesia. AbstractData to inform population assessment of the Interior subspecies of band-tailed pigeon, Patagioenas fasciata fasciata (breeding range from Colorado and Utah south into Sierra Madre Occidental of Mexico), have been lacking despite substantial past banding efforts. We used a data set of more than 26,000 bandings from Colorado, with 3,500 live recaptures and 780 recoveries from the harvest of banded individuals to estimate annual survival, fidelity, and harvest rates. Most birds were harvested in Colorado (62%) followed by Mexico (18%); New Mexico (16%); Arizona (3%); and 1% or less each in California, Washington, and Utah. On average, each year 15% (range 0–30%) of surviving band-tailed pigeons did not return to Colorado. From 1969 to 1981 mean annual survival was 0.633 (standard error [SE] = 0.031) for hatch-year and 0.719 (SE = 0.016) for after-hatch-year birds, with a mean annual recovery rate of 0.015 (SE = 0.002) for hatch-year and 0.011 (SE = 0.001) for after-hatch-year birds. From 1970 to 1974, mean annual abundance of band-tailed pigeons in Colorado on 1 September was 59,911–88,290. These data provide a baseline for additional data collection for band-tailed pigeons in the range of the Interior subspecies.

This research uses qualitative approach with case study. Data collection technique is done by (1) depth interview, (2) participant observation, and (3) documentation. Data were analyzed by interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. Validity checking is done with credibility test, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The formation of noble character through the application of affective education that is represented in attitudes, attitudes, and gentle attitudes there is convincing evidence can have positive implications for the increase in awareness of worship, academic achievement, and the laudable behavior of learners in elementary education. Attentiveness creates an atmosphere of learning directed, controlled and measurable. The activity of the teacher's soul is focused on the condition of the learners to be understood, understood, evaluated and improved and optimized for their potential, and supported by the attitude of affection which creates a warm learning atmosphere and harmony in communicating between teachers and learners. The activity of the soul of the teacher who respects, loves, recognizes and upholds the existence of the learners is reflected in his attitude of a loving and loving parent towards his child and equipped with gentle attitude in creating a comfortable learning atmosphere (learning is fun), happy, passionate and fresh. The humanist, democratic and integrating human soul activity is reflected in its gentle, attractive, warm, empathetic, earthy, selfish, arrogant and authoritarian manner.

Abstract: Kampung Godebag  is a village located in Desa Tanjungkerta, Kecamatan Pagerageung, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, West Java - Indonesia. Godebag village is famous for its nickname as Kampung Islami, all starting from the building of a mosque that is Nurul Anshar Mosque which is the forerunner to the establishment of Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya. With the establishment of Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya make the environment around the boardingers undergo many changes, in terms of infrastructure, livelihood, habits, social and cultural community. Godebag village becomes thick with Islamic nuances and improvements in the quality of education because of the many built education fasilites by the pesantren, the livelihood of many people who turned into entrepreneurship because of the many opportunities for entrepreneurship to meet the needs of the students at boarding schools and students from out of town. By conducting field surveys to related locations and additional data collection from the internet it can be seen what changes and developments are taking place in Kampung Godebag, the results of the research indicate that many people change their homes as entrepreneurs, especially those on the main access road Kompleks Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya.Keyword: History, Settlement, Islamic Village.                                                                          Abstrak: Kampung Godebag adalah sebuah kampung yang berada di Desa Tanjungkerta, Kecamatan Pagerageung, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat – Indonesia. Kampung Godebag terkenal dengan julukannya sebagai Kampung Islami, semua berawal dari di bangunnya sebuah masjid yaitu Masjid Nurul Anshar yang merupakan cikal bakal terbentuknya Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya. Dengan berdirinya Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya membuat lingkungan di sekitar pesantren mengalami banyak perubahan, dari segi infrastruktur, mata pencaharian, kebiasan, sosial dan budaya masyarakat. Kampung Godebag menjadi kental dengan nuansa islami dan peningkatan dalam kualitas pendidikan karena banyaknya dibangun fasilitas pendidikan oleh pihak pesantren, mata pencaharian masyarakat banyak yang berubah menjadi berwirausaha karena banyaknya peluang berwirausaha untuk memenuhi kebutuhan para santri di pesantren dan pelajar dari luar kota. Dengan melakukan survey lapangan ke lokasi terkait dan pengumpulan data tambahan dari internet dapat diketahui perubahan dan perkembangan apa saja yang terjadi di Kampung Godebag, hasil dari penelitian menyebutkan bahwa banyak dari masyarakat yang merubah rumah tingggal mereka sebagai tempat berwirausaha terutama yang berada di pinggir jalan utama menuju Kompleks Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya.Kata Kunci: Sejarah , Permukiman, Kampung Islami.

Behavior Centerd Design (BCD) follows a mnemonically assisted process of ABCDE (Assess, Build, Create, Deliver, and Evaluate) in which those seeking to change behavior are naturally led through a variety of specific logical moves involving existing data collection, additional data collection, creative development, activities to implement the planned changes, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the campaign or program. An extended example of a public health project is used to illustrate the steps throughout. This chapter introduces the problem of developing programs and an overall picture of how BCD approaches the problem, together with some of the specific tools used at particular points in the process.

<p>Glacierized catchments are of great importance for water supply sustaining diverse human livelihoods, economies, and cultures. Despite their importance, both glacierized headwaters and downstream areas remain poorly monitored. Nevertheless, a considerable amount of international and local research has dealt with hydrological models including different levels of complexity, data sources, and goals. In addition, the increasing availability of free software and powerful automatic model calibration tools facilitates the use of complex models even to non-expert users. As a result, models could show a good performance despite misconceptions. That is also true for the tropical Andes where low data availability and quality combined with large uncertainties on glacio-hydrological and meteorological processes prevail.</p><p>Accordingly, this study aims to identify if simple or more complex glacio-hydrological models can perform robust simulations for tropical glacier-fed basins combined with scarce data. The study case was carried out in the Sibinacocha (4,822 m a.s.l) and Phinaya (4,678 m a.s.l.) catchments, both located in the headwater of the Vilcanota-Urubamba river basin, in the Cusco region, Peru. These outer-tropical catchments are characterized by pronounced dry and wet seasons and hold a glacier extent of about 8 and 18%, respectively. Three conceptual models were implemented, in order of increasing complexity: 1) the lumped Shaman model (developed in this study), and the semi-distributed 2) HBV-light, and 3) RS Minerve. All simulations were implemented on a monthly time step from 1981 to 2010. Hydroclimatological data series were obtained from the gridded PISCO dataset at 10 km spatial resolution and two local weather stations. Furthermore, changes in glacier surface were delineated for three years (1986, 1994 and 2004) by using a semi-automatic NDSI approach based on satellite imagery. Finally, a comprehensive evaluation was performed using common measures of model performance, the associated flow signatures, and different runoff components.</p><p>Results show that all model complexities allow for an acceptable performance (R<sup>2</sup> > 0.65, Nash-Sutcliffe > 0.65, Nash-Sutcliffe-ln > 0.73) with small differences related to the model structure. However, more complex models require a more comprehensive calibration strategy and assessment to avoid simulations with apparently high model performance driven by inadequate assumptions. Moreover, more complex models require a better understanding of the underlying hydrological processes that is often hampered by data scarcity, limited knowledge and field accessibility in the Peruvian Andes. Results suggest that a careful calibration strategy, additional data collection, and the implementation of simple models can provide more robust simulations rather than opt for increasing model complexity. For robust hydrological modeling, a comprehensive assessment of the flow signatures and runoff components is pivotal. These findings have been incorporated into a framework that aims for expert and non-expert conducted robust glacio-hydrological simulation under data scarcity. Nevertheless, high uncertainty and limited knowledge hamper a more thorough process understanding and the improvement of related model results which illustrates the limitations of their predictive character. In such a context, additional data collection with local participatory approaches combined with policy-making for climate change adaptation and water management can benefit from approaches that support decision making under high uncertainty.</p>

This research explores the implementation of Skimming and Scanning in reading comprehension and to find out the advantages and disadvantages of skimming and scanning used in learning process. The objective of this research is to find out the effectiveness of skimming and scanning strategy in improving students reading comprehension. Data collection technique focus on participant observation, interviews, and documentation. Skimming and Scanning is the appropriate technique to find the main idea, key word and content of the text without read the whole of the text.
